AU Xover DBZ and INUYASHA, Chichi has beed killed due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Goku is left to take care of Gohon and goten on his own. He is having a hard time keeping things
togeather, untill he meets Kagome, a girl who is suffering through her own heartbreak. Will these two
powerful warriors get a long and help the other fight their demons, or would they just fight each other.
And what does MAster Roshi have to do with anything
AUTHERS NOTE: in this story Gohan and GOten are only two or three years appart from each other, rather than
seven or eight, Souta is now in highschool so he will be in and out randomly, shippou is the same age as
Goten, and kagome and Goku are the same age.
On her family's shrine Kagome was doing something she haven't done since she was fifteen, danced. Yesterday
it was ballet, today its hip-hop. Searching for the jewel shards took up so much time that she had to give up
something she had loved to do more than anything else. The only thing is that she didn't have time for the classes.
Back then all she had was school and homework she had to compete with; now she had College classes, taking care
of her adopted son Shippou, her younger brother Souta, work, and take care of the shrine. It wasn't very often she
had time to herself except for once a week, when the shrine was closed, the boys were in school, and she was off
from work.
Unfortunately, her fun came to an end too soon. Shippou was running up the stairs and with him a boy with
wild looking hair and a fighting gi, with her grandfathers fighting symbol on it(I cant remember if goten had the
turtle hermit symbol or not), and reminded her of someone who trained under him. Then something caught her eye.
"Shippou, who is this young man and why have you been fighting...again?"
"Sorry mama, but these guys were picking on me cause of my tail..."
"And I defended him, cause I had a tail too and I know what its like to be different," the unknown boy
said with a big smile, obviously proud that he had helped someone. "By the way my name is Goten."
"Nice to meet you Goten, I'm Kagome" Before Goten could reply back to her, her heard a call for him.
"Goten if we don't get home soon you know how Dad gets..." Gotens head fell, as well as shippou's.
"Ok Gohan...I'll see you tomorrow Shippou."
"Bye Goten see you at school"
`Kagome sighed, 'I think its time for grampa Roshi to meet shippou and see if he can start training him.
he needs to learn how to fight properly; and Grampa is the only one capable of doing that.Even though I dont
want him fighting' Looking to the stars, she noticed how late it was and went inside. 'I'll call him tomorrow.'
The next afternoon she told shippou her plans and shippou started to argue.
"But momma, you said that I could spend this weekend with Goten!"
"Shippou plans change, besides you may like this better then spending all your time at Goten's."
Shippou sighed in defeat.
"ok mom"
The weekend came faster than Kagome expected. And as soon as Shppou was strapped in the air car,
they took off. As they flew, Kagome remonised on her childhood on her grandfather's island at the Kame House.
Shippou asked her what she was thinking about and she told him when she first met both of her grandfathers prized
puples, Goku and Krillin. She and Krillin got along fine. its her and Goku she butted heads with.

"Five, Six, Five Six Seven Eight..."A little girl danced gracefully in her black bodysuite and pink tights.
Her long black hair ties up into a bun with a scrunchi, and her bright blue eyes focused. She didn't even notice she
had an audence stare at her couriously as she did three preroettes in a row, followd by other gracefull movements that
are very hard to spell. As the music ended she heard calpping my two people.
"You've gotten a lot better Kagome..."
"what kind of fighting techneque was that master Roshi?" A Spikiy haired boy asked the old man she interuptted.
"What kind of idot are you Goku...that was ballet...." A Bald boy said in a sarcastic way. And he was also
inturrupted.
"which is a dance, not a fighting style...though i DO train with grampa durring the summer you fuzzball."
The Old man sighed it was going to be a long summer. when the three kids calmed down he introduced his Puples,
Goku and Krillin, to Kagome. His granddaughter.
"But Master Roshi, you never said anything about haveing a granddaughter." Goku said "And she doesn't
look very strong." Master Roshi glanced at Kagome and silently prayed that Goku would live, for his little
granddaughter had a temper that could make the leader of the Red Ribbon Army cower in fear.
"...I may not look strong you spiky-saired, dimwitted, clueless, insinciteve, baka, but i KNOW I CAN
BEAT YOU!!" the turtle hermit new he couldnt watch this, and Krillin looked at him for advice then both went
to safety inside the house.
"Yeah right like a girl can beat me." He got into his position and nex thing he knew...
SLAP!!!!!!!!!!!
"Havent you heard, slaps hurt much more than a punch...all because it stings" Kagome stuck up her nose
and walked into the house. The rest of that summer contenued on in that fasion, till one week before Kagome had to go
back home.
"It cant be true, it just cant be..."Kagome Sobbed into her pillow.
"what happened kagome?" Goku asked, for once actually worried, sice this is the first time he has seen Kagome
crying, even with the arguements and fights they got into over the summer.
"my daddy died...i new he was sick but i didnt know he was that sick" She started to sob again. "He cant be
gone he just cant be" Goku was at a loss for words. yes he was sad when his grandpa died, but he didnt know how to
take care of a mourning girl. so he let his instinct guide him and next thing either of them knew, she was sobbing
onto his shoulder, and Goku is rubbing her back comfortingly.

"After that, Goku didnt tease me as much and he started to help me train with him alittle. And i admit that
he was atractive." She told Shippou. Then her face grew dark. "He was going to come over with my grandpa on my fifteenth
birthday, but i was pulled down the well. When i was able to come back the first time he was yelling at me much like
Inuyasha did and i lost my temper. I didnt see him until about a year after that when I was taking a month break to
spend some time with my family..." Shippou cut her off.
"Oh yeah i remember that, Inuyasha had enough and wanted you to come back after a week; so he came and got you."
"He tried to any way, when he got there he got himself hit with a ki blast." Replied Kagome.

"Kagome mind telling me what is going on here?" Goku asked, comfused. Kagome just looked at him with a looking
like she just got caught shoplifting.
"Goku this is Inuyasha, my guardean back in the Sengoku Jedai." Goku looked for a further explamation.
"Bitch who is this demon" Kagome's eye twitched, and Goku's ki started to raise steadily. "Inuyasha..."He
gulped. "OSWARI" CRASH.
"Kagome what was that...what is he...what is going on." Kagome was about to explain but was inturrupted by
a overbearing female voice.
"GOKU, what is going on here and who is she." Goku gulped, and Kagome rose an eyebrow.
"Chi-Chi...this is Kagome, Master Roshi's granddaughter...Kagome, this is Chi-chi; my fiance." Kagome just
staired, she never pegged Goku for the type that would be happy with a nagging, overbearing, harpy.
"Oh...its nice to meet you Chi-chi, you're lucky to have someone who is as loyal and brave as Goku.." She said
in a soft tone. And even though she was smiling, Goku could tell she was hurt. "now if you excuse me i have to contenue
practicing my shot." She picked up her bow and arrows and shot the target dead center. Goku and Chi-chi shrugged and left.

"That was about six years ago Shippou, Gohan and Goten are his sons. I can tell. If we see them at grampas, dont get
scared if I start to act like Kikyou." Shippou nodded in understanding. He was going to tell Goku-san off as well...he hurt
his momma, no one hurts his momma and gets away with it, Inuyasha hurt her enough. Even Goten was his friend, his dad was
not on his good side at the moment.
"Momma, can I still be firends with Goten?" Kagome smiled at her kit.
"Of Course Shippou. I wont make you give up friends because of their parenets." He smiled.
They were close to the Island and they started to decend, then they saw three blurs pass them. Kagome rolled her eyes
'Show offs.' Kagome actually started to get a little nurvous; she hasnt seen every one in so long, and she was sure there
were going to be some new faces there as well. Not to mention she wasnt looking forward to seeing Chi-Chi. Something about
that woman rubbed her the wrong way.
They finnaly landed. She and Shippou got out of the air car, and returned it to its capsule. "Hello everyone long
time no see" The group on the beach came out of their stuper and Goku glared.
"Kagome!"
