Disclaimer – I do not own Inuyasha or Dragon Ball Z. However I am having fun writing these stories!!! I want to thank you for reading my newest story. It is one of my favorite pairings. I might just write one for each of them you never know.

Kagome felt as though her whole body was burning from the inside out. They had defeated Naraku only for Kagome to be poisoned with his miasma in a last attempt to kill her. Everyone had been killed except Lord Sesshoumaru and Shippou.
They were now both sitting beside her in the middle of the battle field. Dead bodies of her loved ones scattered around like rocks. Kikyo had killed Inuyasha thus being killed by Kagome when she saw Inuyasha fall. Sango had died saving Miroku only for Miroku to die trying to protect Sango’s body.
Kirara had perished along side of her mistress. Kagome felt tears fall down her face as she thought of how it was suppose to be once Naraku was killed. They were all suppose to be here to celebrate. Only there was no celebration forthcoming.
“Miko what can this Sesshoumaru do to keep you in the land of the living?” Sesshoumaru looked down at the gaping hole in Kagome chest. Shippou was on her other side holding onto her hand.
“G-Give me th-the jewel.” Kagome coughed a little more blood up. Shippou’s eyes went to Sesshoumaru.
Sesshoumaru handed the complete jewel to Kagome. Once the jewel was in her hands both Shippou and Sesshoumaru had to move away because of the bright golden pink light that surrounded her.
Neither one of them knew what was happening. Shippou only prayed that what ever happened his mother would finally find the peace and love that she needed. Sesshoumaru narrowed his eyes as he felt something different about the air around them.
>Kagome<
Kagome opened her eyes to see that she was standing on a decaying planet. She had never seen anything like this. Her eyes watered from the smoke and decay that were laying at her feet. Kagome felt someone close to her so she turned to see the ancient miko herself standing next to a man that look -to her- different.
“Kagome, I am rather proud of you.” The woman stepped forward. “I am Midoriko and am here to ask for your help once more.”
Kagome frowned at the woman in front of her. “Why do you need my help? Haven’t I given enough of myself to the jewel shards?” Kagome felt her tears fall down her face. “They have taken my past, my future and present. I am dying and there is nothing for anyone to do. I have lost the only love that I had and I no longer am able to see my family. What else should I give up? My life? My heart?”
Kagome fell to her knees. She couldn’t take anymore. Kagome had only been 15 years old when she first fell down the well. She knew nothing of demons, hanyous, or mikos. For all she knew they were nothing more than a fairy tail.
The man stepped up to Midoriko. “Maybe I should speak with her?”
Midoriko turned towards the man. “If you believe you may help her. Then you have my blessing.”
The man with up swept black hair, facial hair along with a tail wrapped around his waist walked up to Kagome and bent down in front of her. Using his hand he raised her head that way he was able to look into her eyes. Once Kagome looked into his eyes he began to speak.
“I am King Vegeta of planet Vegeta-sai. I have come to ask for your assistance.” K. Vegeta removed his hand as Kagome kept her eyes locked on his. “Very few of my kind lives but here on earth they will survive and thrive. In over 1000 years from now the earth will be put into danger once more. The warriors, of both our planets, that would have gathered here at that time would not be able to defend the planet because the one to kill the monster would be gone.”
Kagome frowned. “Why are you telling me this?” She looked over at Midoriko. “What does this have to do with me?”
“We wish to ask you if you would become the earths protector. You will be in the shadows until your time is needed.” Midoriko explained. K. Vegeta nodded in agreement.
Kagome closed her eyes to think. She had no family or life so why should she turn this down. Setting her resolve she opened her eyes and nodded. “I will become Earths protector however if I am to defend the earth with my life I need to be stronger.”
K. Vegeta nodded. “Thus the reason I am here. You will be a mixture of demon and sayain. You will have the markings of a full blooded demon however you will be able to fight like the sayain. We are the best fighters in the galaxies.”
“You will also need to be placed into a light sleep for your transformation. Are you still willing to go through with this?” Midoriko walked up to Kagome who was now standing in front of K. Vegeta. “No one would blame you for wanting a normal life.”
Kagome sighed and dropped her head. “I have never had a normal life. You made sure of that when I was pulled down the well to begin with.” She looked up at the two elders standing before her. “Lets get this over with.”
Midoriko smiled as she nodded. “I am sorry for this Kagome but it will hurt.” She looked over at K. Vegeta.
“Shall we being then?”
Midoriko nodded at the king. “Yes we shall begin.” Both of them walked to Kagome. K. Vegeta was standing behind Kagome while Midoriko stood in front of her.
“Close your eyes, Kagome. It will be over soon.”
Kagome nodded as she followed what the elder miko told her. As soon as her eyes were closed she felt as though her whole body had been doused in fire. She made no attempt to open her eyes because it would be no use. Kagome could feel her body give way as she fell to the ground however she never hit the earth.
When the blackness washed over her body she succumbed to it peacefully. She knew that what ever Midoriko had planned this must be part of it. Kagome’s only wish was to finally find peace and love once the Kami's had finished with her.
Midoriko watched as Kagome fell and K. Vegeta quickly gathered her into his arms. Kagome had black hair with silver streaks. There was a pink sphere in the center of her forehead with a flame like design around the outside of it. There were also wings on the side of the jewel.
“She will be very powerful.” K. Vegeta looked down at the girl in his arms.
“That she will be.” Midoriko said as she let them appear before Shippou and Sesshoumaru.
Sesshoumaru growled at the unknown male carrying his sister Kagome. “This Sesshoumaru knows who the miko is however it eludes me to who you are.” Sesshoumaru glanced at Kagome who was still in the mans arms.
Midoriko knew what had the demon lord in a panic. She turned to K. Vegeta. “Hand Kagome to me.” K. Vegeta nodded as he handed the miko turned Inu-Sayain to Midoriko.
Shippou, who now stood to Sesshoumarus’ shoulders, watched the exchange. He looked over to the man that stood there with a regal stance. Shippou glanced over at Sesshoumaru and nodded confirming mentally that the man in front of them was royal of some kind.
Shippou stepped forward and took Kagome when Midoriko brought Kagome over to them. He sniffed her once his mother was back in his arms but glared at both the miko and man.
“What did you do to my mother?” He growled.
Sesshoumaru was at his side in a split second sniffing the air around Kagome. However with Sesshoumaru he stiffened and glared at the man in front of them. He knew that the scent off this alien was familiar.
“Why have you come here, Monkey?” Sesshoumaru stood to his full height as he stepped in front of both Kagome and Shippou.
Midoriko rose a brow as she looked from K. Vegeta to Lord Sesshoumaru. “I had no idea you knew about them, Lord Sesshoumaru.” Midoriko stepped in front of the king of Vegeta. “However the reason is because soon a great threat will come to pass and only Kagome will be able to defeat it. King Vegeta had graciously helped me in this task. Leading his planet and species to the aid.”
Sesshoumaru narrowed his eyes as he took in both beings auras. The woman was not lying to him however the man was slightly darker than the woman’s.
“What does this Sesshoumaru have to do?” He looked from the man back to the miko.
Midoriko smiled. “I would like you to take Kagome under your wing, so to speak, and teach her all she needs to know within the next 1000 years. Shippou shall also aid in your quest but know this that more of this kings species will be arriving but they are here for a purpose. You will know when it is time to interfere.”
Shippou, still holding Kagome, looked around the tall demon lord. “Does that mean that Kagome will always be with me?” He eyes drifted down to his once human mother. Shippou always feared the day he would have to say good bye.
Midoriko smiled and nodded. “Yes kit. Kagome shall always be with you. Can you handle her as your mother for so long?” Midoriko grinned as she young kitsune grin and nodded. “Alright.” Midoriko clapped her hands together and looked around.
“Any questions?” Shippou shook his head no. He knew all he wanted to know. His mother put others before herself yet again.
“You want This Sesshoumaru to help train the miko til it is her time to save to world again?” He rose a silver brow at the legendary miko and Sayain King.
Midoriko nodded. “I do believe you understand what I ask of you. Til then a group of fighters will emerge and I would like you to keep an eye on earth as well as them. Some may be human other not. A blue haired female shall be born in about 990 years named Bulma. Follow her and you shall find the beginning of the warriors.”
“This Sesshoumaru will do as you ask, Miko. Kagome is already a dear friend and almost as a sister.” He glanced down at Kagome in Shippou’s arms.
“That is good, my lord.” Midoriko smiled. “Just remember when the time comes you can not protect her forever.”
With that both of them were gone along with the jewel. Shippou looked down at his sleeping mother. He wondered if the new adventure would turn out like this one. Shippou raised his head and looked around the battle field. His heart clenched when he seen Inuyasha laying motionless over there in a pool of his blood with an arrow sticking out of his chest.
Shippou looked up at the demon lord. “We should retrieve Inuyasha and take him back with us. I will return to bury the others.” His eyes falling on Kirara, Miroku, and Sango.
The stoic demon lord did not say anything as he walked over and took his brothers lifeless body then took off towards the west. Shippou followed close behind on the flying horse that he used for carrying others.
Shippou only worried that Kagome had gotten in over her head again. Sighing he tried to think of the positive. His mother would be with him always.
