Kagome and S. Kai were blocking the others way to Gohan as two of the fighters flew at Gohan and stuck a device into his side. Kagome placed a barrier around the Z-fighters to prevent them from interfering. Her heart clenched as she watched the young sayain be drained of all his energy.
Even though Kagome did not take her eyes off the four in the ring she heard everything behind her. They were all worried about the young boy. Kagome herself was worried for Gohan. She had watched not only him but his father come to earth as well as grow up.
“We have to do something.” Krillin cried as he tried to push pass S. Kai.
Kagome growled as she turned to the group. She let her illusion drop as she faced all of the Z-fighters that were standing there. Even the prince of sayains was now looking in her direction. Her demonic markings as well as her tail were now showing.
“You will stay where you are until it is time.” Kagome turned back to the ring and watched as the two goons flew off with Gohan’s power. Kagome looked down at S. Kai and nodded.
“Bring them I will met you there.” Kagome closed her eyes and with in a second she was gone.
Goku was the first to come to his senses. “That was the girl from before.” His eyes were wide.
Piccolo stepped forward. “She is the true guardian of the earth. She is a priestess from when this land was still inhabited by demons. Thus the markings on her body. Her name is Kagome. She was born when Tokyo was still in its infant stage.” Piccolo watched as Kabito replenished Gohan’s powers.
“She is also part Sayain.” Vegeta stepped up and looked in the direction of where the two goons flew off to. “We need to follow them.”
“As soon as Gohan is ready we will leave. Kagome will watch them until I arrive.” S. Kai watched as Gohan slowly stood and walked off the floor with Kabito behind him.
“Why does this always happen to us?” Krillin asked as he slide down to the floor.
18 flipped her hair out of her face. “Well you guys do like to fight.” She looked down at her husband. Chi-Chi had Marron in the audience.
“She’s right.” Goku looked down at Krillin. “Don’t tell me your getting to old for this?” Goku had a glint in his eyes.
Krillin stood and crossed his arms. “Well some of us are human.” He snorted as he watched Gohan take a seat on one of the benches. Videl was right beside him.
“What’s the matter baldy?” Vegeta walked pass him and took to the air. “Getting weak?” Vegeta followed Kagome not wanted the two goons to get away. Vegeta was highly pissed that he would not get his match with Kakarot.
Goku chuckled but stopped when Krillin sent him a look that could kill Cell. “Heh heh,” Goku turned towards Gohan. “How are you feeling?”
“Like a mac truck hit me.” Gohan answered as he rubbed his side where they had stuck the device.
“We should leave. Kagome can only hold them so long.” Kabito looked down at S. Kai.
“You are right.” S. Kai took to the sky with Kabito right behind him. The other Z-Fighters followed at a distance. Krillin detoured and let the others know what was happening then got out of there before Chi-Chi decided to take out her frustration on him.
>Kagome<
Kagome landed not far from where the two goons landed with the device that had Gohan’s energy. She could see a tall bright red looking demon along with a smaller looking creature. Kagome didn’t know what it was but it looked a cross between a mouse and porcupine with arms and legs.
Kagome could barely hear what they were saying however she ducked down when the tall red demon looked over in her direction. She wondered if he had seen her. Taking a breath she peered over the edge of her hiding spot. As soon as Kagome peeked out she wished that she hadn’t.
“Boo.” The red demon was floating in front of the spot where Kagome hid. “It’s not nice to eavesdrop.” He grinned evilly. Kagome backed up and placed a barrier around herself in case this creature got close to her.
“Its also wrong to try to destroy planets.” Kagome lowered herself into a fighting stance. From what she could read on him from his aura he was able to use something nothing the others could.
“Debora, who is it?” Came a squeaky little voice.
When Debora turned his back on Kagome she took the chance to attack. Launching herself forward she landed a kick to the side of his head. Debora flew to the left about 10 ft then stopped. Kagome kept her eyes on the crater that the creature had created. Little did she know Debora had already made it behind her.
Debora landed a kick to her back and sent her to the ground with a loud thud. Where Debora only had one cut on his lip where Kagome kicked him Kagome now sported a bruised shoulder along with other numerous scrapes and bruises from that little love tap he just gave her.
>Vegeta - Not Far from Kagome<
Vegeta was not far from where the two goons had landed when he felt a power level rise that he had not felt before. Snarling he sped faster. He wondered about the woman that just popped up out of no where. Vegeta was not convinced that the woman named Kagome was on their side.
Unlike Kakarot it took more than a pretty face and a couple of sweet words to changed his mind. He landed not to far from where he saw a creepy looking sphere and two creatures. The smaller of the two was next to the pink sphere while the other was hovering in the air looked around as though he had lost something.
Vegeta narrowed his eyes as he looked towards the ground and noticed that the woman was no longer hiding. She was walking out as though she was unafraid. Vegeta quickly changed his position that way he could hear what they were saying. He could tell that the female was injured.
Kagome held her arm as she made her way back to Debora. She landed wrong on her arm and now it was out of socket. The last little love tap had sent her down into a Kagome size crater. She quickly sent an apology up to Inuyasha for when she ‘sat’ him. Kagome would laugh at the ironic humor if she was able.
Debora floated a foot of the ground his eyes were on Kagome. “Is this the Planets protector? Your pathetic.” He sneered as he looked her over.
Kagome knew she looked worse than she felt. Gritting her teeth she quickly popped her shoulder back into place and moved it to work the soreness out. Once she knew she was able to move with out to much pain she floated up in front of Debora.
Kagome’s markings and tail were now visible as she hovered off the ground. She had found out that when Debora would spit at her the object his spit touched turned into stone. Kagome had to lose her favorite leather jacket because of this over grown demon.
Kagome powered up to SS1. “You ruined my jacket you over grown pest.” Kagome moved into a fighting stance that she had not used in a long time. “You are going to regret messing with me.”
>Somewhere else in the City<
Shippou and Sesshoumaru had just sat down to lunch when they felt Kagome’s power level rise. Shippou was the first one in the air as they ran out of the diner. Sesshoumaru threw some money on the table and followed outside. Once they were in the alley beside the diner they both took to the air. Shippou on his pink ball, that he was now able to ride instead of turn into, while Sesshoumaru used his cloud.
“Do you know why mom would be fighting?” Shippou looked over at the demon who had been like a father figure after Inuyasha had died.
“There was something that was coming up however you know how secretive Kagome is since she ascended.” Sesshoumaru told him as they flew towards the two power levels that were fighting.
Sesshoumaru knew that Kagome had went to see Dende however she would not involve either Shippou or himself in this fight and it upset him that Kagome would not trust her friends to have her back. Of course Sesshoumaru had watched the beginning of the z-fighters that started with a young Goku and Bulma.
Sesshoumaru also managed to get to Namik to keep an eye on them there as well. Over the years Sesshoumaru had discovered a shape-shifting skill that he used a lot over the course of the years. It helped him speak to natives of the planets with out any unease. Sesshoumaru was pleasantly surprised when the Namikians asked him to shed his disguise and show them his true form.
Shippou looked over at Sesshoumaru and noticed that the demon lord had a stern look in place. He shivered knowing the last time he had put his mask in place. They were watching as the androids ran loose. Shippou had wanted to interfere but both Sesshoumaru and Kagome had told him that the new warriors needed to fight this battle alone. He reluctantly agreed but kept on the side lines.
“Do you think she would need our help?” Shippou glanced over to the Western lord.
Sesshoumaru nodded. “Yes but as you know Kagome will not ask for it. She is still as stubborn as the day This Sesshoumaru met her.” He grinned thinking of the time when he first fought his brother for the right to Tetsaiga, which now belonged to Kagome. Sesshoumaru was able to wield the sword however he did not feel the need to keep it when the rightful owner of the sword was still around.
Shippou knew they were getting closer because they could feel more than just the five power levels that were originally there. Shippou pushed himself harder feeling his mothers ki falling. He looked over and noticed that Sesshoumaru had gathered is youki to form his orb. When Sesshoumaru looked over to Shippou he nodded knowing what the demon lord wanted to know.
“This Sesshoumaru shall meet you there, Segare.” Sesshoumaru told Shippou before he formed his orb and flew away.
“Take care of my mother, Father.” Shippou tried to push himself harder knowing that his mother was in need of help.
>S. Kai, Kabito and the rest of the Z-Fighters<
“She has already started.” Kabito flew up to S. Kai. “Kagome’s ki is falling fast.”
“I want you to heal her when we arrive, Kabito.” S. Kai told him as they flew faster.
“Who is that?” Goku asked S. Kai. Gohan and Goku were flying behind them with the rest following them.
“That is Kagome.” S. Kai told Goku with out looking back. “She told me that she would hold off til we arrive.”
Just then the could see a large blast that was about 10 feet in diameter. Everyone pushed their speed even faster when they felt one ki dropping rapidly. Goku stopped and put two fingers to his forehead. Gohan stopped and looked over at his dad.
“Dad what are you doing?” Gohan called back to his father. Everyone stopped and turned to Goku.
“That girl Kagome is losing ki and fast.” Goku looked at his son. “She needs help now. I can get there quicker with instant transmission than flying.”
“Then we will come with you. We were heading there any way.” Gohan pointed out. Goku nodded and waited til everyone of the group was touching some part of him then he closed his eyes and pin pointed Vegeta’s ki which was out of the way. In a few second the whole group appeared next to Vegeta.
S. Kai was the first to see that Kagome was barely holding her own. Before he was able to jump in a large white dog erupted from a green orb and landed on top of Debora. Kagome used the time to teleport over to the Z-fighters. She had used to much energy to begin with.
Kabito was the first to her side. He placed a hand on her stomach and pushed some of his energy into her. Goku along with Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks, Goten and Krillin were watching as Kagome slowly opened her blue eyes with golden flecks. Kagome layed her head back down and let herself drift into the darkness that wanted to take her before they had arrived.
Vegeta had turned to see if the woman was going to be ok then he turned his attention back to the fight between the White dog and Debora. He had heard of creatures that looked human but was a demon underneath. Vegeta turned his attention back to the woman and noticed that she had the same markings as the white dog that came to her rescue.
“Since no one else will go down there then I will tend to the vile creature.” Vegeta powered up and flew down into the battle. Goku watched in horror as Vegeta just stood there talking to Debora and the small little ugly looking creature.
“Whats happening to him?” Trunks cried as he watched his father fall to his knees.
“Babidi is taking control of him.” S. Kai answered the boy. “Your father asked Babidi to grant him his powers to fight Goku.”
Goku looked over at S. Kai. “He wants to fight me at a time like this!” He could not believe that Vegeta would want to fight at a time like this. He turned back to see that Vegeta and stood up and turned towards where they stood. Vegeta’s eyes were drilling into his.
“Come down here Kakarot and Fight ME!” Vegeta exploded with borrowed power. “Or are you to weak?” Disregarding the fact that Trunks had followed he sent a volley of ki blast their way.
Dusk clouded his vision as Vegeta stopped the attack. However when the dust settled the groups was untouched. Vegeta snarled as he looked at the one who not long ago had passed out.
Kagome had felt Vegeta knock Sesshoumaru out and take Babidi up on his offer to grant him power. She felt when he released his ki and started to attack however she placed a barrier around them to keep them all safe. Kagome stood just outside the barrier powered up to SS2. Her teal and golden eyes were trained on Vegeta.
She could feel his soul battling between the evil and goodness that grew in his heart. Kagome knew that the only thing Vegeta really wanted was someone to take him as he is and not try to change him. Kagome locked eyes with the powered up Majin-Vegeta.
“You do not need the power from the evil sorcerer, Babidi.”
Kagome vanished and reappeared in front of him. Her hand took his. Vegeta tried to pull away from her but Kagome kept him locked in placed by a spell. When Kagome knew that Vegeta would not move she let go of his hands and grabbed him in a hug and whispered something in his ear. Within a few seconds the ‘M’ on his forehead vanished and he passed out.
Kagome levitated Vegeta with her power and floated him over to the other Z fighters. “He will be out until the battle is over. Until then return to the tournament there is nothing for you to do.” Kagome turned her back on them and powered up to the last level she reached before Babidi appeared. Super Sayain 5.
Sesshoumaru had made quick work of Debora and was now standing on the side lines to far from the group of warriors watching as Kagome walked fearlessly up to the ‘egg’.
“Get away from my creation!” Babidi screeched as he flailed his arms in front of Kagome.
SS5 Kagome looked down at the little creature with red rimmed eyes. She snarled and kicked him with the tip of her boot. As he went flying though the air Kagome readied a ki blast in her hand. When Babidi came to a certain point Kagome threw the ki blast at the small speck that was Babidi.
Sesshoumaru watched with concern. He could feel the power over riding her good sense. Sesshoumaru looked over to the group that was not to far from them. He could tell that he was not the only one who was worried. Sesshoumaru ran over and stopped beside S. Kai. The Supreme Kai looked surprise to see him standing there.
“This Sesshoumaru asks for your help.” Sesshoumaru looked over to Kagome. “She has just recently came into this form. The power drives her insane with power thus she only uses it on rare occasions.”
The others had been listening to Sesshoumaru speak to S. Kai. Kabito kept his eyes on Kagome while the others spoke. Goku looked down at Vegeta who was still out of it. Then a light clicked. Goku dug around in his gi and pulled out the small bag that held his sensu beans. Tipping the bag up three beans fell out into his hand. Goku grinned as he replaced two of them and went over to Vegeta.
Sesshoumaru felt Shippou closing in on their location. He turned and looked to the west and could see Shippou coming in and fast. He was heading right towards Kagome. Sesshoumaru was about to move when he was stilled when a hand on his arm. Snarling he turned to face the tallest of the sayains. Goku.
“Release this Sesshoumaru.” He narrowed his eyes as they flashed red in warning.
Goku released his hand but held his hands up. “I know you want to protect her but I know only one who has been down that road and survived.” Goku nodded towards Vegeta who was waking up. Sesshoumaru followed his gaze.
Sesshoumaru snorted as he turned his head away from them to watch as Shippou approached his mother. “Do what you must but hurry.” He walked over to the edge and sat down watching his sister and pup.
Goku sighed and turned back to Vegeta. “I know you can do this, Vegeta.” Vegeta narrowed his eyes at Kakarot.
“Why do you have so much faith in me Kakarot?” Vegeta walked up to him. “I first came here to kill you and yet you befriended me, gave me a home and family when I had none. WHY?”
Goku grinned and scratched the back of his neck. “Your my prince aren’t you?” Goku smirked when Vegeta had nothing to say. He knew that he never gave much credit to his sayain heritage but he had never known about it.
Vegeta shook his head and turned his attention back to Kagome. “I can tell that her power comes from pain.” He too had power that came from pain and until he let it go he was not able to reach super sayain 1. Vegeta knew the only way for Kagome to control the power she now had was to let go of the past.

Just then the could see a large blast that was about 10 feet in diameter. Everyone pushed their speed even faster when they felt one ki dropping rapidly. Goku stopped and put two fingers to his forehead. Gohan stopped and looked over at his dad.
“Dad what are you doing?” Gohan called back to his father. Everyone stopped and turned to Goku.
“That girl Kagome is losing ki and fast.” Goku looked at his son. “She needs help now. I can get there quicker with instant transmission than flying.”
“Then we will come with you. We were heading there any way.” Gohan pointed out. Goku nodded and waited til everyone of the group was touching some part of him then he closed his eyes and pin pointed Vegeta’s ki which was out of the way. In a few second the whole group appeared next to Vegeta.
S. Kai was the first to see that Kagome was barely holding her own. Before he was able to jump in a large white dog erupted from a green orb and landed on top of Debora. Kagome used the time to teleport over to the Z-fighters. She had used to much energy to begin with.
Kabito was the first to her side. He placed a hand on her stomach and pushed some of his energy into her. Goku along with Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks, Goten and Krillin were watching as Kagome slowly opened her blue eyes with golden flecks. Kagome layed her head back down and let herself drift into the darkness that wanted to take her before they had arrived.
Vegeta had turned to see if the woman was going to be ok then he turned his attention back to the fight between the White dog and Debora. He had heard of creatures that looked human but was a demon underneath. Vegeta turned his attention back to the woman and noticed that she had the same markings as the white dog that came to her rescue.
“Since no one else will go down there then I will tend to the vile creature.” Vegeta powered up and flew down into the battle. Goku watched in horror as Vegeta just stood there talking to Debora and the small little ugly looking creature.
“Whats happening to him?” Trunks cried as he watched his father fall to his knees.
“Babidi is taking control of him.” S. Kai answered the boy. “Your father asked Babidi to grant him his powers to fight Goku.”
Goku looked over at S. Kai. “He wants to fight me at a time like this!” He could not believe that Vegeta would want to fight at a time like this. He turned back to see that Vegeta and stood up and turned towards where they stood. Vegeta’s eyes were drilling into his.
“Come down here Kakarot and Fight ME!” Vegeta exploded with borrowed power. “Or are you to weak?” Disregarding the fact that Trunks had followed he sent a volley of ki blast their way.
Dusk clouded his vision as Vegeta stopped the attack. However when the dust settled the groups was untouched. Vegeta snarled as he looked at the one who not long ago had passed out.
Kagome had felt Vegeta knock Sesshoumaru out and take Babidi up on his offer to grant him power. She felt when he released his ki and started to attack however she placed a barrier around them to keep them all safe. Kagome stood just outside the barrier powered up to SS2. Her teal and golden eyes were trained on Vegeta.
She could feel his soul battling between the evil and goodness that grew in his heart. Kagome knew that the only thing Vegeta really wanted was someone to take him as he is and not try to change him. Kagome locked eyes with the powered up Majin-Vegeta.
“You do not need the power from the evil sorcerer, Babidi.”
Kagome vanished and reappeared in front of him. Her hand took his. Vegeta tried to pull away from her but Kagome kept him locked in placed by a spell. When Kagome knew that Vegeta would not move she let go of his hands and grabbed him in a hug and whispered something in his ear. Within a few seconds the ‘M’ on his forehead vanished and he passed out.
Kagome levitated Vegeta with her power and floated him over to the other Z fighters. “He will be out until the battle is over. Until then return to the tournament there is nothing for you to do.” Kagome turned her back on them and powered up to the last level she reached before Babidi appeared. Super Sayain 5.
Sesshoumaru had made quick work of Debora and was now standing on the side lines to far from the group of warriors watching as Kagome walked fearlessly up to the ‘egg’.
“Get away from my creation!” Babidi screeched as he flailed his arms in front of Kagome.
SS5 Kagome looked down at the little creature with red rimmed eyes. She snarled and kicked him with the tip of her boot. As he went flying though the air Kagome readied a ki blast in her hand. When Babidi came to a certain point Kagome threw the ki blast at the small speck that was Babidi.
Sesshoumaru watched with concern. He could feel the power over riding her good sense. Sesshoumaru looked over to the group that was not to far from them. He could tell that he was not the only one who was worried. Sesshoumaru ran over and stopped beside S. Kai. The Supreme Kai looked surprise to see him standing there.
“This Sesshoumaru asks for your help.” Sesshoumaru looked over to Kagome. “She has just recently came into this form. The power drives her insane with power thus she only uses it on rare occasions.”
The others had been listening to Sesshoumaru speak to S. Kai. Kabito kept his eyes on Kagome while the others spoke. Goku looked down at Vegeta who was still out of it. Then a light clicked. Goku dug around in his gi and pulled out the small bag that held his sensu beans. Tipping the bag up three beans fell out into his hand. Goku grinned as he replaced two of them and went over to Vegeta.
Sesshoumaru felt Shippou closing in on their location. He turned and looked to the west and could see Shippou coming in and fast. He was heading right towards Kagome. Sesshoumaru was about to move when he was stilled when a hand on his arm. Snarling he turned to face the tallest of the sayains. Goku.
“Release this Sesshoumaru.” He narrowed his eyes as they flashed red in warning.
Goku released his hand but held his hands up. “I know you want to protect her but I know only one who has been down that road and survived.” Goku nodded towards Vegeta who was waking up. Sesshoumaru followed his gaze.
Sesshoumaru snorted as he turned his head away from them to watch as Shippou approached his mother. “Do what you must but hurry.” He walked over to the edge and sat down watching his sister and pup.
Goku sighed and turned back to Vegeta. “I know you can do this, Vegeta.” Vegeta narrowed his eyes at Kakarot.
“Why do you have so much faith in me Kakarot?” Vegeta walked up to him. “I first came here to kill you and yet you befriended me, gave me a home and family when I had none. WHY?”
Goku grinned and scratched the back of his neck. “Your my prince aren’t you?” Goku smirked when Vegeta had nothing to say. He knew that he never gave much credit to his sayain heritage but he had never known about it.
Vegeta shook his head and turned his attention back to Kagome. “I can tell that her power comes from pain.” He too had power that came from pain and until he let it go he was not able to reach super sayain 1. Vegeta knew the only way for Kagome to control the power she now had was to let go of the past.
