As soon as Kagome walked into the hyperbolic time chamber she had to close her eyes because it was so bright. Kagome squinted her eyes as she looked around the room they walked into. She jumped when she heard the door slam. Kagome turned to see that Vegeta was staring at her.
Kagome’s heart started to race as she looked into his onyx eyes. She could instantly tell that he was proud like Sesshoumaru and had an attitude to match. Kagome turned around and started to explore the rooms that were attached to the living room. She could feel his eyes on her back as she walked out of the room.
When Kagome walked into the bedroom she could feel her anger rise. There instead of two beds was only one. She walked over to the drawers and pulled them open to see that there were no clothes. In fact there were nothing besides two towels, that were laying on the shelf.
Kagome growled as she slammed the drawers and headed back into the living room. She entered to see that Vegeta was no where to be seen. Snarling under her breath she turned towards the only arch way she had yet to explore. Kagome quickly made her way out into the vast space.
Kagome could see him as soon as she walked out into the whiteness that was the time chamber. She didn’t understand what this place was but she needed to ask him somethings before things went any farther.
Vegeta could tell that she was coming up behind him but he decided that he would like to see how she fought. He waited til she was right behind him when he quickly spun around with his fist aiming for her face.
However Kagome could feel Vegeta’s ki rise when he was about to attack. Kagome quickly dodged his attack and delivered one of her own. She spun around and landed her heel in the lower back where his tail would have been. Vegeta fell onto his hands and knees gasping for breathe.
Kagome walked over in front of him. “Now that we have the fight out of the way do you think you can handle your temper for a while?” Kagome smirked when she heard him grumble about ‘annoying onnas’.
Vegeta gritted this teeth as he got to his feet. He had to admit that the onna was good at surprise attacks. Vegeta stood up and smirked when he realized that he was about a foot or two taller than her and he only stood 5’5”. This was rather new to him.
“If I put my mind to it.” Vegeta looked Kagome over. He had to admit that she was rather nice looking for a mixed breed.
Kagome grinned at him. “I didn’t know you had one.” With that she turned and headed to the kitchen.
For some reason arguing with the arrogant prince made her appetite show up. Kagome wondered if there was any ramen in stock. She chuckled thinking of how much Inuyasha loved ramen. Kagome also realized that Vegeta had some traits from both Inu brothers. Arrogance from Sesshoumaru and a cocky attitude from Inuyasha.
Vegeta stood there for a moment dumbfounded that this slip of a woman would insult him. Snarling he fazed out of sight and reappeared in front of Kagome who was almost into the living room. He grabbed her by her arms and picked her up to look into his eyes.
“Now listen here onna.” Vegeta narrowed his gaze. “I am the Prince of all Sayains and since you are part sayain that means I am your prince as well.”
Kagome was seething. No one, not even Lord Fluffy Butt, told her what to do and when to do it. Kagome let her animal instincts take over as her eyes bleed red. She could tell that it surprised Vegeta because his grip on her loosened a bit.
Kagome used the opportunity to head butt the prince causing him to drop her. Kagome was up on her feet with in a second facing a very pissed off prince. His nose was not likely broken however he had blood running from a gash on the bridge of his nose.
Vegeta could taste the blood pooling in his mouth as he watched the slip of a woman smirked at him. He could feel his sayain blood boiling as he took in her clothing. She had on clothing that left little to the imagination. Both the tank top and pants hugged her form perfectly.
Vegeta felt a twinge of pain in his lower back and gritted his teeth. The pain was so back that he almost fell to his knees. He had to close his eyes as he felt another stab of pain rip through his body. Vegeta had no idea that he had fallen until he felt a pair of hands grab him around the waist to keep him up.
Kagome didn’t know what came over her as she watched the proud prince fall to his knees as his face contorted in pain. She had no idea how he would react but she couldn’t help as she went to his side to keep him from falling.
Vegeta let his arms wrap around her waist as he opened his eyes and looked down into hers. He jaw clenched in pain as he felt his legs wobble. The onna must of sensed his pain because the next thing he knew he was being lead to the bedroom.
Kagome knew that she could not hold him much longer so she took Vegeta into the bed room and gently layed him on the bed. She had no idea what was causing him so much pain but she closed her eyes as she sat beside him. Kagome let her reitai pulse and flow through her and into Vegeta to ease his pain.
Vegeta opened his eyes once more to see the woman beside him glow a light pink. He wondered what was happening when he felt a soft breeze pass over his skin. Vegeta tried to sit up but the pain came back ten fold. Kagome must of sensed it because her eyes opened and looked down at his face.
Kagome felt her breath hitch as she looked into his onyx eyes. She had no idea when he went back to normal but Kagome had to admit that he was very handsome. Blushing she cleared her throat and looked over his body to look for any injury that would of cause him so much pain.
“It happened when you kick me in the back.” Vegeta told her as if he knew what she was doing.
Kagome swallowed and looked back up at him. “I’m sorry about that.” She lowered her gaze. Her heart was beating fast enough already. She really didn’t need this guy to think she just wanted to jump him.
“Its close to the full moon.” Vegeta told her as he closed his eyes.
Kagome frowned. “What does that have to do with me kicking you in the lower back?” Kagome felt guilty for hurting him.
Vegeta opened his eyes and looked into her blue eyes. “How much do you know about sayains?”
Kagome bit her lip and looked down at her hands. “I really don’t know much about Sayains.” Kagome looked up through her bangs that hung in front of her face. Blush crept over her cheeks as she noticed that Vegeta was studying her.
“Then I shall tell you.” Vegeta kept his eyes locked on hers. “In about two days from now you will go into heat. Sayains that have tails are more likely to become more aggressive towards their intended. Sayains that had their tails removed will have their tails regrown.” His face pinched from the pain.
Kagome used her hands to roll him over to his stomach. He gave her a weird look but she just stared at him. Finally he must of realized that she was trying to help because he turned onto his left side. His back facing Kagome.
“Hold still.” Kagome placed her right hand in the middle of his lower back while the other hand layed on his hip.
Kagome closed her eyes and pushed her healing powers into his back where his pain was coming from. She could tell that it was working because of the fact that his muscles relaxed under her hand. Kagome jumped however when she felt a fuzzy thing wrap around her arm that was at his back. Opening her eyes she stared at the long black tail that was now wrapped around her arm.
Vegeta felt the pain recede once Kagome’s power flowed through him. He closed his eyes and let the warm feeling wash over him as he shivered from the contact. When Vegeta heard her gasp he opened his eyes and looked over his shoulder.
“What is it?” He went to move but he felt something pull. Frowning he reached his hand back and touched where her arm was. His eyes widen as he felt his tail wrap around her arm. Quickly he unwrapped his tail from her arm and re-wrapped it around his waist.
“I didn’t know what happened.” Kagome looked up at him. “I was only trying to calm the pain you were feeling but some how I regrew your tail for you. Are you in any more pain?” Kagome watched his face for any kind of lie.
Vegeta shook his head. “No.” He stood up and stretched his muscles.
Vegeta turned to see that Kagome was still watching him. Raising a brow he waited for her to explain why she was staring. Kagome blushed as she stood and turned her back to him. Her tail was tightly wrapped around her waist.
“The reason I came out to talk to you was because I wanted to know if there was any way to get the door open before the year is up.” She turned back around to see that Vegeta was staring at her with an odd look on her face.
“No there is not.” He crossed his arms. “Why?”
Kagome could tell that he wasn’t lying. Taking a calming breath she looked at Vegeta. “There are no clothing except what we have on and only two towels along with only one bed.” She placed her hands on her hips. “What will we do?”
“We will deal with what we have.” Vegeta watched as a blushed spread across her cheeks. “Come on we have to get you trained.” He turned and walked out of the room. Vegeta wanted to hurry up and get this done before the night of the full moon.
Kagome growled as she stomped behind the prince. She couldn’t believe that he wasn’t even worried about not having any change of clothes or only one bed. Growling she found that Vegeta lead her back out into the colorless space.
Vegeta walked about 10 feet from the entrance and turned back to Kagome. He waited til Kagome was close enough to him then he walked a little ways up to her that way he could touch her if he wanted. Vegeta knew only one way to keep the power from consuming you and it was not going to be pretty.
“The first thing you must do is come to terms with your past and how it shaped you.” Vegeta watched as her face become contorted with anger. “There are demons inside you that need to be dealt with otherwise you will continue to put the ones you love in danger.”
Kagome couldn’t believe this slip of a man telling her that she had to deal with the past. She had dealt with how she felt when Inuyasha had finally told her that he loved her yet tried to go to Kikyo during battle resulting in his death. Even his last words to her were ‘I’m sorry Kikyo’.
Kagome closed her eyes as the images flashed through her mind. She didn’t want to think about the back stabbing hanyou that took her heart out and shoved it in her face. Kagome clenched her fist together and tried to keep her power level calm.
Vegeta could see that what ever hurt this woman would take a lot to over come. He wondered what could have hurt the woman so much that she would lose herself to her power that way she would not have to care anymore. As soon as her eyes closed he walked closer and noticed that her power was peaking then receding.
Vegeta took Kagome’s hands into his. “Onna you must let the past go. What ever happened is in the past and must be let go or it will destroy you.” Vegeta didn’t know why but as soon as she started to shake and the tears came he wrapped his arms around her.
Kagome stiffened when she felt arms go around her. She didn’t need to be comforted. Shippou and Sesshoumaru had done enough of that over the last 1000 years. Powering up Kagome placed her hands on his chest. She opened her eyes and looked into his.
“I don’t want anyone’s pity.” Kagome spat at him as she released all the power she had. In a flash Kagome was in the final form. She sent a small ki blast directly into his chest.
Vegeta was glad that his tail was back because he was able to make it to super sayain 4. He deflected most of her attacks however one did hit him in the shoulder.
“I don’t pity you.” Vegeta snarled as he launched his own attack. “I’m trying to help you.”
Kagome was having trouble controlling her emotions as she fought against Vegeta. Her heart was breaking again. All the emotions came flooding back into her mind. Kagome lost her train of thought because Vegeta landed a hit to her face which threw her back about 5 ft.
Kagome rose to her knees and closed her eyes. She could hear Inuyasha’s voice calling to her and telling her that she will never be as strong as Kikyo. Kagome did not know when she let her power go and release a scream to the heavens that would make kami cringe.
Vegeta stayed in his form as he watched the woman before him break down. The cried of pain tore at his heart as he watched her let go of the pain she had been holding on to. He did not know what had happened but he would find out. Vegeta slowly walked up to Kagome and knelt down in front of her.
“Onna?”
Kagome opened her eyes to see Vegeta in his SS4 form. She did not want him to see her cry so she bowed her head. Kagome was completely wore out. She did not realize how long she had been holding on to the pain that he had caused her. Kagome jumped when she felt Vegeta take her chin between his fingers and raise her head up.
“Onna, look at me.” Vegeta commanded.
Kagome let her eyes go to his. She could tell that he also had pain but she was doing good just to deal with hers. Kagome shut her eyes as she felt the tears starting to fall. She was vaguely aware of Vegeta wiping the tears off her cheek and picking her up.
Kagome leaned into his embrace as Vegeta carried her bridal style into the bedroom. He layed her down but when he went to let go Kagome would not let him go.
“Don’t leave me.” Kagome whimpered into his chest. She knew that she was showing her weakness but she couldn’t care any longer. She had to be strong for too long.
“Never.” Vegeta promised.
Vegeta pulled her to his chest as he settled down next to her. He did not know why he felt he needed to issue the promise but for some reason just telling her that he would not leave her made her relax into his embrace and fall asleep.
About a couple of second later Kagome was out to the world however she still did not loosen her death grip on his gi. Every time Vegeta would move Kagome would cling to him as though he was her life line. Finally he was able to drift off to sleep.

About a couple of second later Kagome was out to the world however she still did not loosen her death grip on his gi. Every time Vegeta would move Kagome would cling to him as though he was her life line. Finally he was able to drift off to sleep.
