Chapter Sixteen

Crazy Love

Last time:

“Bulma!!!” Her father called out.

“Oh shit! Your dad’s home…” he whispered, his cock deflating completely.

She smiled brightly then replied, “Don’t worry about it. As long as no one went inside their sex room—everything will be all good.”

“Who the hell did this?! Oh my God there’s blood everywhere—my precious leathers!” her mother screamed.

“Now we’re in trouble!” she said panicked.

“Your parents have a sex-room?” Vegeta said, more than a little weirded out that the elderly Dr. Briefs and the young Mrs. Briefs had anything like that in their home.

She bit her lip worriedly, “Yeah… which obviously was invaded and destroyed tonight judging by how my mother is screeching.”

“BULMA̵ 2;DID YOU DO THIS?!!” She screamed.

“Time to face the music,” She said wanly after donning on a silk robe. She then left and went downstairs to investigate the mess.

***^~~~***^~~~

~~~~~***^~~~***^~~~Th e next day: At Northern High… ~~~~~***^~~~***^~~~
“ ;Hey sorry about getting you in trouble last night Bulma…” Chi-chi said, feeling incredibly guilty about the fun she and Goku had at Bulma’s expense.
Bulma shrugged, “It’s no big deal. Sure I never been in trouble before but hey…at least you had a great time.” She said sarcastically. “But the good news is because they have no idea how to punish me—I’m only reduced to shopping three days a week for a month.”
“But the upside is…we now know how Goku keeps Chi-chi satisfied…” Eighteen said with a leer to her friend. “Chains and Leather? I didn’t know you had it in you!”
Chi-chi turned beet-red, “It was an experiment.”
“Kinky̷ 0;did you like it?”
“They must have…there was semen and blood everywhere in there.” Her brows then furrowed, “What was with the blood anyway?”
“I rather not discuss it.” She then looked at Eighteen and asked, “But what about you. You were screaming pretty decent last night.”
“What can I say? My baby can lay the pipe down.” She said with a lecherous smile.
“EW so didn’t need to know that.” Bulma said with a shudder.
“Hey guys.” Krillin shouted walking up to them from across the hall.
“Hey babe…we were just talking about you.” She said as she hugged him tightly.
“Good things I hope.”
She kissed his mouth softly then replied, “Of course.”
“Look Eighteen I gotta talk to you for a minute.” He then looked at her friends and replied, “Excuse us.”
They walked off far from prying eyes and ears. “You naughty boy…wanting a quicky in the middle of school—”
“No…I came to talk to you about my upcoming project.”
She pouted at first then replied, “What about it?”
“I know you won’t like this but I wanted to talk to you about it before you heard it elsewhere. ”
Eighteen breathed out a shaky breath then replied, “Ok you’re scaring me…what is it?”
“I’m going to be working with Marron—”
“WHAT?! You’re going to be working with that bitch?!”
Krillin said with patience, “Look I’m not Inuyasha—when I tell you I’m working on a project—I am!”
“You know I don’t like her—so why did you choose her to be your partner?”
“She happens to be my best-friend. We had been through a lot together and plus she’s brilliant.”
“Yeah. Brilliant.” She said, laughing bitterly.
“I cannot believe you’re jealous.”
“And I can’t believe you can’t see she has the hots for you!”
“No she doesn’t. Believe me. She doesn’t.”
“I don’t want her near you—”
Krillin narrowed her eyes, “You can’t do that—you can’t try to break up our friendship—”
Eighteen said frustration boiling inside her, “She is after you Krillin—can’t you see that?!”
“Marron isn’t after me—we’re just friends for goodness sakes!”
“Then you’re blind.” She then sighed, “I demand you not to see her—”
He turned a bright red then scoffed, “You can’t control me—”
She sighed then yelled, “It’s not about control—fine. If you want to see her again you can. Just don’t assume that I’ll wait for you.”
“Eighteen—c’mon don’t be like that.”
Eighteen scoffed, and then looked down at him, “How else do you expect me to be Krillin? I’m sorry—I’m not an actress—I can’t pretend that you seeing her doesn’t upset me. I know she wants you…that’s why she never accepted us as a couple. She wants you for herself.”
He rolled his eyes, “You’re delusional.”
“Oh…” she said tearfully; hurt clouding her eyes, “I am?”
He nodded exasperation clear in his dark eyes. “Yeah…you’re crazy.” He looked at her, seeing how fragile she looked—which was not in her nature—he tried to comfort her and reassure her. “Eighteen—”
She sniffled, “If you feel that way—fine. I’ll see you around.” She then walked away.
“Eighteen—”
< br> “Hey—where’s she off to?” Marron asked watching a distraught Eighteen stomp off.
He looked after his girlfriend then back at his friend and said, “I don’t know. C’mon let’s get to work.”
She nodded then said, “Ok…”
Two hours later Krillin walked into his house feeling completely drained and yet anger still raged in him. He slammed his school books down on a nearby table with force. He couldn’t believe Eighteen—who was the most beautiful person in the whole world—would actually think he would cheat on her—and with Marron of all people. Marron had been his best friend since Kindergarten—he couldn’t just turn his back on her just because Eighteen felt a little competitive and jealous. He needed to talk to someone. He then dialed up Marron and poured out his dilemma to her.
“That’s crazy!” she exclaimed. “She should get over herself—yeah, you’re a wonderful guy and all but I do not see you like that. You deserve better.”
“I get why she’s like this.”
“Why is she like this?”
He sighed then sat in a nearby chair, “She recently saw her best-friends relationship crumble because of a so-called ‘assignment’—she believes the same thing would happen between us.”
“What happened?” she asked, wondering if there were any tips in that story for her to follow.
“He cheated on her with his class partner. So I understand why she’s cautious and a little insecure but I won’t do that.”
“I know.” She then sighed, “You’re too good for her.”
He looked down at Eighteen’s beautiful face in a picture of himself and her and smiled, “Nah—I’m lucky to even be with her…”
Marron sighed then stated rudely, “Krillin you could do so much better than Eighteen. She’s a colossal bitch!”
He laughed, unable to hear the jealous tone in her voice. “Hey—that’s my girlfriend you’re talking about.”
She hated that he always defended her. But she laughed it off then said, “Yeah your bitchy girlfriend.”
“Marron…I’ll talk to you later ok? I gotta go find Eighteen.”
“Ok…talk to you later.”
After Krillin hung up he searched for Eighteen for what seems like hours until he finally caught sight of her. He sat beside her and tried to hold her but she shrugged out of his arms, still steaming mad. “You’re unbelievable. You don’t ever listen to me!”
“You’re the one that’s unbelievable! I never once asked for you to choose me over your friends—”
“You would if they were after me and single! Marron—”
He interrupted her, “Is my friend—for the last time!”
Just then Sango walked up interrupting their shouting match. “Hold it one minute—did I miss something here?”
Krillin glared at Eighteen and she glared right back, then he replied, “Not a damn thing.”
“Ok if that’s true—which I don’t believe for a second—then why are you and Eighteen fighting like cats and dogs?!”
“Ask her.” He then shook his head, feeling so frustrated and confused by why she would be like this all of a sudden. “I’m out of here! I’m done with this—with her.”
“Krillin—” Sango exclaimed but her friend shook her head in a strong manner.
“Bye!” He gave her one last glare and stomped off.
Sango looked at her best friend and folded her arms over her chest and asked, “Ok what’s going on with you two? Last night you were all over each other and now—you’re fighting?”
Eighteen sighed, “Nothing ok. Just drop it.”
“I would if I didn’t know you.” She then sat beside her, “Now tell me what’s going on. And don’t bullshit me.”
She then sighed again, this time mournfully, “Again nothing is going on.”
“Eighteen…we’ve been friends too long to bullshit each other. What’s going on? You can tell me. You don’t have to be strong all the time.”
Eighteen’s eyes began to water and then she broke down, crying harder than she had in her entire life. “Sango…” her voice breaking because of her sobs.
“Oh Eighteen…don’t cry!” she said, hugging her friend close as she sobbed her heartache.
“I can’t help it—it’s like a fucking nightmare I can’t wake up from! Krillin…” her breath hitched at the mention of his name. “…he refuses to listen to me about Marron.”
Her brows furrowed, “What about Marron?”
“She’s after him! I know it—”
Sango comforted her friend but had to ask, “How do you know she’s after him?”
“It’s the way she looks at him, the looks she gives me whenever we’re together around her—so I gave him an ultimatum—her or me…and—and…” she then sobbed harder, her body shaking with the effort. “…he…he…broke up with me!!!
“I’m sure that’s not what happened.”
“He…wouldn’t listen and he said he’s done. Now what else could he have meant by that?”
“I don’t know sweetie I really don’t.”
~~~~~***^~~~***^~~~La ter that night: At the Vilena mansion… ~~~~~***^~~~***^~~~

“Aw you poor thing.” She said after he related to her what happened between him and Eighteen. “Are you two over?

He looked at her then exclaimed, “No of course not! But I don’t know what to do to reassure her I have eyes for no one else…but I doubt she would want to see me after the way I acted today—”

“It’s not your fault. You’re a great guy…” she then trialed off as she heard a song that was her favorite song. “Hold up a sec—Ooh this is my jam—you have to dance with me—”

“No…”

< br> “Oh c’mon dance with me Krill it’ll take your mind off things!” she said with a sweet smile on her face.

“Mar you know I can’t dance.”

“So? Dance with me anyway.”

“What the hell—alright, alright…I’ll dance with you.” He then took her in his arms and danced with her slowly, pressing his body closer to hers.

She laid her head on his shoulder, “Why’d you lie? You’re a wonderful dancer.”

His dark eyes met with hers, “I guess it’s because I’m comfortable with you.”

“Don’t stop dancing with me…please.” She hadn’t bother disguising her painful longing in her tone.

They danced slowly to the music, allowing an intimate atmosphere to build. He inhaled her sweet yet sassy perfume and held her closer. “Marron?”

“Don’t you feel it Krillin?”

He sighed, holding her closer, “Hmm?”

“I felt it. From the moment we touched just now…we connected. Don’t you feel it?”

He looked at her with a cloud of desire, “Yes…”

She licked her lips, tempting him. “Kiss me…”

He sighed, then shook his head, “Marron…Nothing can happen with us.”

“Are you so sure about that?”

“Not at all…” he then kissed her passionately, his confusion about his feelings between Eighteen and Marron made him kiss all the harder, trying to block out his pain and bewilderment.

“All I can think about is making love to you.”

Krillin tried to shake his feelings of lust off as he looked at her, “Marron…I…”

“I want you Krillin whether that’s wrong or right—I don’t know nor do I care. I want you in every way possible. I want to love you all night.”

“Marron we can’t—” A knock sounded just as he was about to reject her. “Hold that thought.”

“Eighteen what are you doing here?” He asked, surprise and weariness on his face. He was well aware that a half dressed Marron was somewhere in the house which made him more than a little nervous.

She sighed then strolled more than a little nervous, “I actually came to talk—”

“We already tried that, remember—”

“I was wrong Krillin.” She said then exhaled again, trying to gather courage. “I was afraid you would walk away from us…for Marron—”

He looked at her then said, “I never walked away from you.”

“I know…”

He paused then shook his head negatively, “I’m not—I’m not sure if I want to hear this Eighteen. I’m really not.”

She looked damn near desperate, “I promise…if you let me in—you won’t regret it.”

He arched his brow, a heated look entered in his dark eyes when he eyed her body. He instantly forgot that Marron was somewhere in the room. “Do you have crouch-less panties?”

She smirked more than a little relieved, “Try no panties.”

“Alright come in.”

“I’m so sorry for earlier…I just don’t like you hanging with her and she just gives me a bad feeling every time we’re together around her. And the looks she gives me…”

Krillin looked at her then asked, “What kind of looks?”

She shrugged, “I don’t know…nasty looks, almost like she doesn’t want me with you.”

Krillin had had no idea that Eighteen felt that way or that Marron really was after him. Oh shit Marron, he thought as he looked around inwardly panicking. Thankfully she made herself scarce. “Forget about it…I’ll talk to her about it ok.”

She then hugged him close, inhaling his scent. “Thank—Krillin what’s that smell?”

He feigned innocence and replied, “What smell?”

“The smell of skank!” Eighteen shouted pushing him away from her. Her eyes then narrowed as she asked, “Who’s in here Krillin?!”

“I don’t know what you mean—”

“Yes you do! Where the hell is she?!” she snapped, looking crazed.

“Who are you talking about?”

“Don’t act all innocent on me—how could you? After I poured my heart to you…” she wanted to smash his face. She looked in the closet…no one, looked under his bed and…nothing but a turquoise shirt—that smelled like Marron! “What’s this Krillin?”

“I don’t know where that came from.”

“Huh…” she said then looked in the bathroom…to find Marron in the shower…naked. She glared at her boyfriend then back at his hoochie of a friend and replied, “HUH…Marron what a surprise to see you here!”

Marron felt a small fraction of fear. “Eighteen…what are you doing here?”

She only smiled chillingly, “Krillin—you’re such a damn liar. I expect this behavior from guys like Yamcha or Inuyasha—but you really had me fooled.”

“Eighteen it’s not what—” Marron began but was abruptly cut off.

“Shut your fucking mouth…”

“Baby listen I can explain this…”

Eighteen looked at him coldly, “You assume that I care. I am done with this—with you. Marron you win. You can have him.”

“Baby I don’t want her.” Krillin began, panicked for the first time about losing her.

Eighteen looked at him with zero compassion and replied coldly, “Too bad for you. I’m gone. Delete my number from your phone; and don’t ever in your life approach me again.” With that she left the room.

~~~***^~~~***^~~~Later that night: At the Higurashi Residence~~~~~***^~~~***^~~~
Eighteen had gone straight to the twins’ house, not wanting to see Chi-chi or Bulma yet. Kagome having been through the same thing—she wanted a sympathetic ear. All Chi-chi and Bulma would do would comment on how she should’ve never gone for him. Which she was in total agreement now—but at the same time she loved the dummy.
“How could he?!” Sango demanded seeing how distraught Eighteen had been earlier and how she had defended him. “He should’ve been grateful that you spared your time to be with him.”
“I don’t want to feel anymore.” Eighteen sighed as she laid on her back staring at the ceiling. “I knew better not to let him mean so much to me and then I just had to fall for him.”
Kagome stroked her blonde hair as she laid her head over her lap. “Are you sure you two can’t make-up?”
Sango looked at her sister then replied sharply, “You didn’t see her earlier and didn’t hear his comments about this shit and for him to go and cheat on her anyway. What a callous bastard.”
“Where was this understanding with my and Inuyasha’s break-up?” Kagome demanded as she looked at her sister..
“I didn’t know everything in your case—unlike Eighteen’s struggle.”
“I still can’t believe it. You two seemed so inseparable.” Kagome replied as she saw tears gather in Eighteen’s eyes—which was a first because the girl always hid her emotions.
Eighteen scowled then took out her flask filled with aged whisky. “Yeah—looks can be fucking deceiving. I wish I had never—No I can’t…I don’t regret our time together—I just regret that he was such a gullible dumbass.” She took a deep gulp from the flask, relishing the burn that accompanied such a ballsy move.
“Wow…you should ease up on that! That’s 80 proof!”
“IDK Kags. I just wanna forget. You should understand that.”
Sango looked at her friend in shock, never really seeing her like this before. “I have a question…”
“What is it?” she slurred after taking another gulp of whisky down.
“What if you and Krillin get back together?”
She glared at her friend, and then shrugged, “Despite all of this…I still love the little fucker. But if we should…I’ll make him suffer first—badly.”
Kagome was curious, “How?”
“I’ll figure that out…but not now. It’s too painful right now.”
The phone rang then jarring all three girls. Sango then said, “I’ll get it…Hello?”
“Who is it?” Kagome asked, looking at her sister.
Sango looked at her then replied on the phone, “No she’s not here…well I don’t know. She’s not here. Yes I’m sure.” She then paled, “Are you crazy?! Are you some kind of fucking stalker?!!”
“WHO IS THAT?!” Eighteen demanded then.
“Krillin—”
Eighteen then snatched the phone from her grasp then shouted in the receiver, “GO TO HELL KRILLIN!!!”
“EIGHTEEN I HAVE TO TALK TO YOU—I FUCKING LOVE YOU!!!” He said in a rush of words, panic clear in his voice.
“GOODBYE KRILLIN.” She shouted then slammed the receiver down on the hook.
***^~~~***^~~~The next day: At Northern High…~~~~~***^~~~***^~~~
Eighteen was like a changed girl as soon as she stepped foot on school grounds; she was happy, chatty and completely opposite from the girl that had spent the night crying at her friends’ house last night. Kagome noticed the change and was worried for her. Bulma and Chi-chi also noticed how forced her merriment was and were worried for her too.
“Are you ok Eight?” Chi-chi asked as they entered the cafeteria together.
Eighteen smiled then said, “Yeah why?”
“Well you’re different somehow.”
“I don’t know how you mean.” They sat in their customary seats and she began picking at her food, not really having much of an appetite. She then looked over at Vegeta on his cell phone and scowled. “Ugh I hate when people are on their cell phones.”
“There’s really nothing you could do—” Sango began to say.
An evil smirk lit her face, “Oh there is.”
“Oh no—I know that look! Don’t do—”
Her smile brightened, “But you can’t guess what I’m gonna do.” She said, breaking a piece of cookie in two halves and threw the bigger piece and hit the offender in the head. “Bull’s-eye!” she exclaimed.
“HEY!!!” He hollered looking at them, eyes red with anger.
“I can not believe you just did that! Eighteen you are so bad.”
“Aren’t I a stinker?!” she said laughingly. “I told you I hate it when people are on their cell phones.”
Vegeta then marched right over and yelled at her. “YOU BITCH!!! I GOT CRUMBS ALL IN MY FUCKING HAIR!!!”
She looked up at him and replied; “It so looks good on you!”
“I’ve had enough of you—” he then spotted his girlfriends half eaten yogurt cup. He then grabbed it and poured all of its contents in her golden locks then laughed, “Now that’s what I call strawberry-blonde!”
Sango laughed only to frown in concern when always tough Eighteen burst into tears. “Look what you did you jerk!” she yelled glaring at him.
“It was a fucking joke—just like what she did to me. How was I to know she would get upset?!” Vegeta yelled out, truly upset himself at seeing the toughest girl he ever came across sobbing like a fucking girl.
“Get out of here! You’ve done enough!” Chi-chi yelled out, trying to soothe her friend. She then turned to her friend and murmured soothingly—that was far from soothing to Eighteen, she wasn’t this girl. She wasn’t an empty-head basket-case. “Eighteen he’s gone now—”
“Eighteen!” Krillin said rushing over. “What happened?”
“Get out of here you fucker!” Kagome said blocking him from seeing Eighteen.
“I have to see her.” He said, looking trying to look past her. “PLEASE!!!”
She gave him a drop-dead face and said, “No can do.”
“Kagome—move aside!” he said desperate to see Eighteen.
“FUCK YOU!!! Leave her alone. Don’t you get it? She’s done with you!!!”
He brushed past her and went to her, unable to take being apart from her. He took in her yogurt hair and tears and yelled, “Eighteen…are you—who did this to you?!”
“Damn you!!!” she cried and ran from them all, unable to bear seeing his beloved face, feeling as if a knife was twisted in her heart.
He ran after her, “EIGHTEEN!!!”
“Leave her alone man.” Inuyasha shouted to him but it fell on deaf ears.
Eighteen stopped, letting the tears fall, unable to stop anyway. She knew he was right by her side so she began talking. “Why won’t you leave me alone?! You are the reason I can’t stop crying!”
“I can’t simply just stay away.” Krillin pulled her to him then pleaded with her, “Please Eighteen…I miss you. I’d trade it all just to see you smile at me again. Talk to me—shout at me, please.”
“I love you…” he said, his eyes tearing up. “I’ll do anything for you Eighteen—please just come back to me.”
She dashed her tears away and replied strongly—stronger than she thought was possible; “Krillin we’re over.”
He gripped her arms and shook his head, “NO! DO NOT SAY THAT!”
The words weren’t true—not by far—but she needed to say them because they were burning on her tongue. “We’re over Krillin!!! I hate you—”
“No please Eighteen—” His eyes teared up, desperation welling up inside him. “I know you love me—I know you do—”
“That was yesterday. But today you’re the same bastard that cheated on me—”
“I didn’t cheat on you—I would never—”
She sighed, so very tired and achy. “Tell it to someone who believes you. I got to go.”
“Wait…”
“Not for you.” And with that she walked away—even if it killed her.
Eighteen ran until she had no more energy so she flopped down next to Chace one of the Ginyu force guys. She didn't care—he could go to hell for all she cared she just did what she felt: she cried and cried until he muttered, “Maybe I should go…you know me ad tears don't get along.”
“No you can stay…I don't really want to be alone right now.” She said, realizing that it was true.
“Alright then.” He paused then looked at her, his dark eyes taking her in, “Why are you like this? What's wrong with you? I thought you couldn't stand me.”
She shrugged, “I still can't—but that doesn't mean I don't need companionship. And it doesn't mean I don't think you're hot.”
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“Not really.” She then sighed, “For some reason my relationships never seem to work out.”
“Why not?”
She scoffed then replied, “If I knew I wouldn't be feeling this.”
He then nodded, “It's a bad break-up isn't it?”
She smiled sadly then looked him in the eye, “Way to state the obvious Chace.”
“ Just hang in there. You're tough. Tougher than any chick I know.”
“Tough's good—most of the time. But right now…I can't summon the strength it takes to be tough.”
He smiled then chuckled, “You know we should have more conversations like this.”
“Oh bite my ass Chace!”
He smiled wickedly, “Would love to.”
“You're an ass—” she then gasped because his hand tried to touch her thigh.
“What's wrong? Did I do something to make you upset?”
“No. Not at all…I'm just afraid that if you touch me I don't know what'll happen.”
He gave her a look that was indefinable, “Oh I think you do know. That's why you're afraid.”
“I'm not really afraid. I'm just cautious.”
He gave her an arched look then asked, “Of what exactly?”
She blushed then answered, “Of needing you like I needed Krillin.”
He then shook his head in confusion, “Tell me one thing?”
“What?̶ 1;
“What did you see in dwarf-boy anyway?”
She shrugged, “I don't really know. I guess it's because he was different in every way.”
“In what way—other than height?”
“Well̷ 0;I'm sometimes mean and strong-willed—he is my exact opposite. He’s…” Eighteen then sighed, “He worshiped me. I don’t know what changed.” She then bit her lip, unsure of anything. “Can you hold me awhile? Please?”
He scooted closer to her, “Are you sure about this?”
She nodded then said, “Yeah…I’m sure now I can handle it.”
Chace encircled his arms around her and held her close, then fucking sighed, he never sighed. “This is sort of…nice…”
Eighte en smiled, “Yeah…it is. It’s exactly what I needed.”
He then looked into her crystal blue eyes then asked, “What else do you need from me?”
She licked her lips then murmured, “For you to kiss me.”
“Is that all you want Eighteen?”
She bit her lip again, unknowingly drawing his attention to her plumping lips. She wanted to be taken for a very long hard ride. She couldn’t wait to scorch up the sheets with the luscious Chace. “No…that’s not all I want.”
His eyes darkened with lust, reading the longing in her eyes, “Tell me…I’ll be more than willing to give it to you.”
“Promise?”
“Yes.”
“Ok…I need to be fucked all night. I need you to erase Krillin from my mind—from my memory. Can you do that?”
He kissed her hand then promised solemnly, “I’ll give it my best shot! I promise I will do anything and everything you ask.”
She smiled then stood to her feet. “C’mon then…”
***^~~~ ***^~~~Three weeks later: At Northern High…~~~~~***^~~~***^~~~
“Do you know where Eighteen is this morning?” Krillin asked, nervously twiddling his thumbs. He knew Kagome was the go-to person on everything Eighteen—well besides himself of course—but being away from her this long was seriously doing some damage to his school work.
Kagome sighed then rolled her eyes, “No. Why?”
“Because I heard she was seeing someone…and I just wanted to talk to her and make sure—” He had heard she had gotten quite close to Chase the schools idiot. He felt his fist balling up at the thought of someone else touching his woman while he couldn’t.
Kagome gave him a mean glare, “So are you for that matter!”
Krillin frowned then replied, “Don’t be like that—”
“How soon we forget! Wasn’t it you that broke my best friends heart? Wasn’t it you that made her seriously alter her personality? Krillin…I really don’t know if I should be talking to you.”
Krillin took a step back, “Why not?”
She glared at him then repeated his question, “Why not? Why not?! How about the fact Eighteen is literally different—she’s fucking miserable without you.” Kagome sighed, feeling sorry for the sprung boy as well as her friend. “Well, Eighteen hasn’t mentioned anything. Why don’t you just ask her?”
He looked down at his feet then muttered, “Well for one…she won’t talk to me—she believes I betrayed her—when I didn’t. And also because I have a vested interest in her answer, while you on the other hand—don’t.”
Kagome frowned at that, “I wish I could help…but—I got to go.” She then put a finger against her lips then muttered, “On second thought I don’t wish I could help—you broke her heart!”
“I didn’t intend to—”
She then looked away as if remembering what had happened to her. “No one ever does.” Then the bell rang out interrupting their conversation. “Look I really do have to go. Rot in hell Krill.”
***^~~~***^~ ~~Three days later: Outside of the Gero household…~~~~~***^~~~***^~~~
Krillin gripped the steering wheel hard, his eyes trained on his only love. God he missed her. These past two days had been torture—had apparently driven him insane—to even attempt what he was about to was crazy. But he was also crazily in love with her. He took in deep breaths for calmness, knowing he needed to do this. There was no way he would ever willingly let her go, she was his first-love—his true love. There would be no one else for him. Krillin needed Eighteen like he needed air. Their love was far from over. It was only beginning.
“Hojo…I’m about to go in. Get in the drivers seat now quietly…be sure to leave the car on. This is going to go really fast.”
“Are you sure you want to do this stunt man? This isn’t something you’d do.”
“I’m half-alive without her. So yeah. I’m sure. I’ll do anything I have to do to get her back. I can’t and won’t lose her.” He then smiled, “Don’t worry this is going to be easy.” He pulled down the mask with determination.
Hojo looked at him, worry and fear intermingling on his face. “I don’t know—I hope you’re right about this.”
“Don’t worry all my plans work.” Without another word he left. After speaking with her brother Krillin stealthily walked behind her, waiting and watching for the right time. As soon as he was close enough and he had the right opportunity—he laid his hands on her. But his feisty Eighteen wouldn’t go down without a fight—she kicked, scratched, elbowed her way away from him. But he promptly caught up with her and captured her again. “Ah-ah-ah sweetheart—you’re coming with me.”
“Let me go asshole!” she shouted as he dragged her toward the van. Krillin exhaled—tired of the resistance—then picked her up and carried her the rest of the way.
“Never.” He said with a smirk and then dumped her in the back of the van. He climbed in and shut the door behind him then shouted to Hojo, “DRIVE!!!”
“Ok ok!!!” He said as the van lurched into drive. “I can’t believe I’m doing this.”
“You are so gonna regret this!” she yelled, while kicking out at her attacker. He then removed his mask with a devilish smile. “KRILLIN?! Are you fucking insane?!”
“We need to talk!”
She narrowed her eyes then yelled, “Seriously—we’re really over! There we talked—now take me back to my house.”
“No.” She looked at him as if he had lost his mind. Hell he might’ve from all the longing he had felt.
She looked like she was ready to kill him, “No?! Are you fucking kidding me?!”
“No. I’m not kidding—I want us to be together.”
“Read my lips Krillin: We are over—”
“No we’re not—”
She rolled her eyes, “You’re delusional if you think this means we’re back together!” she then yelled, “Look at this fucked up situation Krillin—don’t tell me you don’t think this is wrong! Kidnapping—”
“I have no choices ok—you wouldn’t talk to me. And ok, admittedly, it’s bound to raise some eyebrows, but we love each other. And that’s all that matters.”
“No—no Krillin—there’s always a choice. You chose wrong. This is wrong!”
“Eighteen I fucking love you—”
“If you did love me—you would have listened to me about that slut Marron and you for damn sure wouldn’t be pulling this shit!”
“Tell me what you want to hear—I’ll say whatever—do whatever Eighteen…just tell me and I’ll do it.”
“Let me go—turn this van around and let me go.”
“No—I can’t do that. There’s no turning back now.”
“Damn it Krillin! I’m not playing around!”
“Well neither am I.”
Hojo began getting nervous as he saw the seedy area Krillin programmed into the GPS. “Um Krill?”
“Yeah?!” he snapped, his eyes still locked in on hers.
“Where the hell am I headed?!”
“Just follow the GPS. It’s programmed already.”
“Fine.”
< br>
“Where the hell are you taking me?! He sounds scared!”
He tore a piece of cloth and began tying it around her head, while murmuring, “To a place where only a few of us know—me and Hojo and the guys—who won't tell a soul. You are going to be blindfolded.”
“Blindfolded?!” She shouted, outraged and extremely pissed-off as he put the blindfold on and tied her hands as well.
“That didn’t matter to you before.” He grunted as he tightened the binds on her hands.
She would have glared at him but her vision was obscured, “That was sex—this is totally different!”
“Uh-huh…if you say so.”
“I do say so asshole!” she then paused a beat, “I hate you.”
He laughed, “Yeah—keep telling yourself that doll—cuz I know differently.”
“Bite me!”
“Love to babe—but I got plans.” He replied carrying her inside the building.
She growled, “I didn’t mean it dickweed!”
“No, I’m sure you did.” He said as he placed her down on the couch then removed the bindings and the blindfold. “Hello sunshine.”
“Blow it out your ass Krillin!”
He looked down at her with heat in his eyes as he replied, “I love that sassy potty mouth Eighteen it’s so hot.”
“FUCK YOU!!!” she hissed as he cuffed her to a thick circle in the wall.
He smiled then replied, “Yeah I might take you up on that—later though…gotta give you time to think things over.”
She gave him a fierce glare then spat, “Go to the lowest and hottest of hell! You scheming cheating sorry ass fuck!”
“See…that there…turns me on. You always know what I want. Do me a solid and talk dirty to me one more time.”
She had forgotten that he had liked this kind of talk from her, no matter how raunchy she got the more turned-on he was. That was what had originally attracted her to him. But she didn’t care now—she was angry and she wanted to tear him a new one! “Ooooh!!! You make me so sick Krillin—I can’t stand you, you piss mouth motherfucker!”
“Mm-mm-mmm! Baby, that sounds so damn good. And by the way I never cheated on you—Eighteen you’re the only one for me!”
“No Marron is!” she sneered, wanting to get the fuck away from him.
He gripped her hair and made her look him in the eye and said quietly, “No you are.”
She narrowed her eyes but kept eye-contact. “Funny you remember that now—”
“Enough ok—don’t you get it?! I did all of this for you—”
“For me? Gee I should be thankful that you kidnapped me—” she then looked at him with a deadpanned expression, “let’s make one thing clear—you did this for yourself—not me.”
He raked a hand over his face warily, “You’re right. I did do this for me. I did this because I was going fucking insane without you. I’m s—Eighteen I’m so desperate for you—I’m falling to fucking pieces without you with me. I—I can’t be without you anymore. I don’t know how I can even function without you. I don’t know how I can even breathe—I need you that much.”
“Oh yeah?” she asked, she then cocked her head to the side and smirked wanting to punish him for all the pain and tears she cried at night and other occasions. “I no longer care. What I’ve felt for you—and obviously what little I knew about you…it’s now in the past Krillin. The very far distant past!!!”
He looked totally wrecked, “Eighteen—don’t say that—”
“Why not? It’s true isn’t it? You kidnapped me, holding me against my will! I don’t know you anymore. The Krillin I know wouldn’t even contemplate doing anything like this.”
His eyes looked bleak for only a moment but then they turned to flint with determination. “You do know me. You know me better than anyone else—”
She shook her head, “That was before. Now…now it’s just sad.”
“I love you. I’m not letting you go until we resolve this—and by resolve I mean ‘back-together’ Eighteen. ”
She rolled her eyes then sighed, “We’re not—”
Krillin kissed her thoroughly; both wild and emotionally charged which made it undeniably delicious. She whimpered, unable to believe after everything that’s happened she could still melt for him. She moaned and kissed him back with all the pent-up emotions in her being. Soon the emotion took backseat to passion as he deepened the kiss, drawing her tongue inside his mouth. She would have gathered him closer except her hands were cuffed.
He smirked down at her then replied confidently, “You missed me.”
She rolled her eyes, but was inwardly shaken by what she had revealed with that one kiss. “Get over yourself.”
“When we kissed…you felt something—”
“ Yeah disgust! Believe me that was an accident that will never happen again.” She spat out.
Krillin smirked, knowing full well she was bullshitting him, “Oh yeah?”
“Yeah!” she said with bravado.
He had the gall to laugh the replied, “No it wasn’t. You and I both know it. So stop lying to me and stop lying to yourself. You miss me.”
She narrowed her eyes dangerously then replied, “Un-cuff me.”
“Sure thing doll.”
As soon as he un-cuffed her, he went in for another kiss before she could even feel a moments triumph. This time passion was in full throttle. He groaned into her mouth, his hands gripping her ass, tongues tangling, tasting, devouring. She sank into his enticing kiss, all at once loving him, hating him, missing him and most of all desiring him.
Her eyes opened then she pushed him away feeling close to losing control. “No! Stop it! Keep your distance.”
“You don’t want that.”
She didn’t. But that didn’t mean he needed to know that. “Yes I do.”
“But when we kissed—”
She raked her hand through her hair, unsure of how she really felt. “Again an accident!”
“No it wasn’t!”
She turned to him, glaring. “I hope you know I meant to slap the shit out of you.”
He smiled then nodded, “Oh, you meant to slap me did you?”
“Yes I meant to slap you—of course I meant to slap you!”
He came closer to her then asked, “Oh yeah?!”
“Yes!!! Kidnapping me then you force a kiss—”
“Ok here your next opportunity to do so.”
The Krillin kissed her again only this time she pushed him immediately away, feeling way too wrecked and vulnerable. “No, Krillin—keep your distance.”
“Why Eighteen?!” he demanded fiercely, “Why won’t you let me in?!”
She turned to him, crying. “Because…because I lost too damn much to you Krillin! Because… if I let you in my heart again—I would only do it again…and I can’t go through that again. If I do I will never recover.”
“Aw babe…take another chance on me. Please, I’ll do it right this time.”
She sobbed, shaking her head, “I can’t—”
He brushed her tears away then looked into her beautiful clear-blue eyes. “You’re all I want..my heart belongs to you. I need to have you in my life—you’re everything to me—you’re all I need Eighteen. I love you and only you. You’re my fucking heart! If you hadn’t noticed I’m crazily in love with you! I denounced Marron for you—I—”
That made her do a double take, “Wait…You what?”
He smiled sadly then replied, “We’re not friends anymore. She was the catalyst that made me lose you—and as I’ve told you before I want only you. She thought she could replace you but—No one ever can.”
“I’m speechless—you really did that?” she asked, already softening toward him.
Krillin sighed, “Yes. You’re the most important person in my life! I wanted her friendship and your love and I was truly baffled why I couldn’t have both. But you saw what I couldn’t see—that she wanted more. More than I could ever give because everything she had wanted I had freely gave to you.”
“I don’t know—maybe—”
He knelt down before her, “Look babe what you’ve reduced me to. I’m begging—allow me another chance and I’ll show you there ain’t no maybes. I promise this time we’ll be together forever. You got me on my knees Eighteen.”
She smirked down at him, wavering in her will. “Beg more.”
“C’mon Eighteen! I poured my heart out to you and you got me on my knees already! Give a guy a break—”
“So what you’re on your knees—” she then smiled, feeling more like herself again. “That’s where you should stay.”
“So you forgive me?”
She nodded the said, “Yes I forgive you.”
“Are we back together?”
She bit her lip, unsure of how she felt. “I don’t know yet.”
“Eight!!!”
She sighed, “I never told you I’m sorry…and we can’t get back together until I do.”
“What the hell are you sorry for?”
She shrugged, “For everything. I’m sorry that I wasn’t honest with you about how I felt about you for starters.”
Krillin wasn’t sure where this was heading but he asked anyway, “How do you feel about me?”
“You always told me you loved me and I never really said it back—this time apart made me realize just how much I love you. I missed everything about you—from your goofy laugh to your dry humor, the way you look at me—the adoration of it—the talks we used to have—our quality time. I really, really, really missed that. And I missed how I was with you. With you I didn’t have to force myself to be lighthearted and funny—I just was. With you I didn’t have to be perfect all the time. It’s so much easier being myself with you. Nobody but you knows how dorky I really am and I wanted that back more than anything—”
He interrupted her with a soft kiss, and then said meaningfully, “I love you.”
Hojo walked in just in time to see them kissing passionately, “Ahem—obviously you two are back on—”
Krillin parted from her unwillingly, “Three’s a crowd man!”
Eighteen laughed then said rather seriously, “Leave before I kick your ass—and if you tell a soul about what I said to Krillin I will murder you.”
Hojo gulped and waved his hands, “OKAY!!! Have a good night.”
Krillin smiled then said, “Thanks Hojo…for everything. See ya at school.”
She smiled, “Yeah thanks.”
“You’re both insane by the way!”
He waved him off then shouted, “Got that!”
Before he went to the double doors he paused then asked, “You got a ride back right?”
“Yeah. My car is out back.” He murmured while kissing Eighteen’s neck.
“Alrighty-then I’m out! Deuces!” He shouted then left out the building.
He turned back to her then asked with a mischievous smile, “Where were we?”
She smiled then placed him right back in the spot he vacated. “About here.” She then moaned as his tongue flicked over a certain spot that had her arching toward his body. “By the way—where are we?”
He paused then smiled, “Um…my home away from home. This is the guys spot too…but they haven’t been here in forever. Goku, Inuyasha, Miroku and Vegeta—we all share this place. I had it by myself though for… about a year. But I never did anything with it.”
She bit her lip. “Oh…does Marron know about this place?”
“HELL NO!!!!” He said, suddenly upset by the mention of her name. “Listen babe…forget about her. Ok?”
“Fine…” They were standing in a spacious warehouse filled with goods; really nice light fixtures, leather couches, pool tables, computers, laptops, a really nice music system and all sorts of guy stuff. “Does anybody drop by unexpectedly? Like the girls?”
“No.”
“Oh…” she said then looked around some more. “How the fuck did you guys accomplish all this? It’s like a guy’s only pad.” She said fingering a light fixture.
“It is. And—well you know how gifted Goku, Inu and Vegeta are in lifting stuff without help and Miroku and I are whizzes in Shop class so we did the wiring and installing the stolen merchandise here—”
Eighteen blinked, “Wait what? Stolen?! Wait a fuckin minute what do you mean by stolen?
“Not stolen, stolen! Trash piles! Perfectly functional stuff was in trash piles. Waste not, want not right? Ok so I repaired most of them. Like the big screen Plasma over there—all it needed was a chip and to be wiped down. And the pool table needed sewing and some material to repair the rips in it. Can’t even tell it had rips now—I did those.”
“Well okay…”
“Anyway I was thinking—”
“Ooh pinball machine!!!” she said excitedly, rushing over to play it.
“Eighteen!!!”
Sh e stopped then turned and frowned, “What? I want to play—”
“I want this to be our place too!” He rushed out.
She looked shocked but then delighted, “What?”
“You heard me. I want this to be our place special place.”
She beamed at him, “Oh really? Oh Krillin. Really?”
“Yeah really.” He said with a relieved smile.
“Seriously?” she asked, unable to believe it.
He chuckled then replied, “Seriously.”
She smiled then nodded, “OK.”
His brows furrowed, “That’s it? Really? This is—in a way—my apartment and in a way I’m asking you to move in and live with me and all you can say is ok?”
She smiled, her eyes twinkling with happiness, “Mm-hmm. Now shut up and show me around.”
He laughed then nodded, unable to believe that they made it over such a huge hurdle. They went upstairs to the loft where the four twin beds, a full size bed and a bubbling Jacuzzi tub awaited. She was very impressed and amazed that they created such a beautiful place in such a space. There were vine-like Christmas lights that streamed across the room, and a table set for two with candles all around and flowers strolled all over.
“You did all this?” she asked, unable to keep the wonder from her voice.
He blushed then nodded, “Um, I know you already ate—”
She gave him an arch look then replied, “I won’t ask how you know that.”
“Anyway like I was saying—I know you already ate but I had something in mind…”
She crossed her arms over her chest and arched a blond brow, “Oh really? Like?”
He grabbed her hand and walked over to the table to the table and uncovered a dish revealing a chocolate concoction. “Ta-da!!! Dessert!”
Her eyes widened at the sight of them. “Oh my God, Chocolate Cookie Sandwiches’? Like our first date!!! And you know they’re my favorite!”
“Mm-hmm…”
She ate the gooey concoction and moaned aloud. “God I miss this!” she sighed then took another and ate it quickly. “You’re still quite the chef.”
“Thanks…” he replied, massaging her tensed-up shoulders. He honestly missed doing these things for her, missed seeing her smile.
“God that feels good.” She moaned. “In a twisted way…” she licked her fingers of the ice-cream. “This is really the most romantic night of my entire life.”
He turned her head toward him then looked into her eyes, “You’re my world Eighteen—I want to keep you happy.”
She smiled softly, “You do. I love you…”
He kissed her on the tip of her nose then replied, “We should do this more often…”
“Do what? Kidnap each other and have an intimate dinner?” she then laughed, “I was thinking that too.”
“Oh yeah?” He then laughed with her, “Me too only I made the comment.”
“Yeah.” She then burst out laughing again. “God I missed this. I missed you. It’s been so long since I shared the same thought with someone. I never knew how much I missed it until now.”
“I know what you mean. C’mon…” he said holding out his hand.
“What?” she asked with a curious smile but she took his hand regardless.
He pulled her into his arms and whispered, “I just wanna hold you.”
She smiled softly, “OK…”
The next day Eighteen woke up in Krillin’s arms in the cushy bed. Her eyes widened as he cuddled closer to her. She sighed, feeling complacent and sublimely happy—despite the fact she missed curfew. She must’ve fallen asleep while he held her sometime last night. She bit her lip as she felt his large hands on her body—squeezing and caressing. She sighed in contentment and drew closer toward his body, thinking how wonderful it was to wake-up beside him. As she was thinking this, his luscious lips closed over hers in a soft non-demanding kiss that was deliciously slow. She melted into it with a blissful sigh.
“Good morning.” She whispered then placed another kiss on his lips.
He smiled at her then replied, “Good doesn’t begin to describe it! I wake-up in bed with a gorgeously beautiful girl—who happens to be my girlfriend again—in my bed the morning after holding and kissing her all night…blissful is the word I would go with.”
She grinned then nodded, “It is blissful…”
He caressed her face, “God I love seeing you smile—it’s even better when you laugh.”
“Thanks Krillin.”
“Thanks? For what?”
“For being you.” Her crystal blue eyes locked into his warm black eyes, “For being a wonderful caring and funny guy.”
“This is why I call this the magic hour.”
She laughed, “Why is that?”
“’Cause I’m with you. Duh.”
Her brows furrowed, and then burst out laughing. “Aww…that’s so cheesy but it’s also sweet.”
“I know we just got back together and everything but—”
“But?”
“Where’re we sex wise—”
She pushed him on his chest the laughed, “Wow…you just had to go there.”
“I’ve been celibate for weeks—”
“So have I—” she challenged. It was true. Despite their separation and Chace’s campaign to get into her pants—she found later that she couldn’t do it.
He smiled, “That’s great to know but still—”
“You just had to ruin it—”
He frowned, “Oh man I did didn’t I?” he then looked sheepishly, “Can I undo the damage?”
Eighteen smiled slyly, “You can try.”
“Alright…” he then leaned in for a kiss but was disrupted by her phone ringing. “Damn it!”
“Sorry…” she then read the text someone sent to her, “Damn it is right…I have to go. Dad is about to shit a brick—he just text me, Sixteen and Seventeen text me—dad must be out of his mind with worry and Sixteen—”
“Don’t leave—stay please.”
“Krillin I have to go home. This was really great. I’ll see you later ok?”
“No—Stay.” He grumbled as he began kissing on her neck.
“No—if I don’t get home soon they’ll track the signal on my phone.” She said as he nibbled on her neck, leaving hickeys in his wake.
“No I gotta go…c’mon don’t do this to me…”
***^~~~***^~~~Three days later: Outside of the Gero household…~~~~~***^~~~***^~~~
After three days of being holed up with Krillin Eighteen felt unimaginably better about life, she didn’t even care if she were grounded for being three days late for curfew. She smiled and waved at the love of her life as she turned the doorknob. Gero hugged her as if he hadn’t seen her in forever—which to him forever was three days.
“Are you alright?” He asked as he squeezed the life out of her.
“Yes I’m fine…” she laughed then waved Krillin away, seeing that he was still sitting there.
“You’re know you’re in trouble don’t you?”
Eighteen rolled her eyes then said sarcastically, “What else is new?”
It was so good to be back, she thought with a smile.
