*~*~* A Month Later*~*~*

Megami was cooking her favorite dinner for everyone.She hoped they would like it.
"Sesshoumaru,where is Rin and Jaken?They will miss supper at this rate."she grinned at her newfound family.
He smiled sheepishly,he was "pinned" to the ground by Rin.
"I'm sorry Megami I'm abit busy at the moment.Akk..." Rin was pounced on his stomach.
"I still can't belive Lord Sesshoumaru is acting like this...is that woman a witch?"Jaken had been in shock over the change in his Lord.Not to mention he would go no where near Megami in fear he too would be put in some kind of trance.He just glared at the young woman.
"Wench", he snorted
At hearing Jaken's comment Sesshoumaru had gently placed Rin to the side and went over to Jaken.
"Jaken?Please repeat what you just said about Megami...."He eyebrow twitched.
"Oh no..Lord Sesshoumaru...I know that look. Runaway!!!"
Sesshoumaru had already grabbed the toad and threw him into the river before he could run away.
Megami just laughed at their antics knowing one day she would have her time alone with Sesshoumaru.
"Everyone please wash up and come to the table supper is ready!"she called to the three.
"Ok just wait a minute."Sesshoumaru was acting like he was having a hard time escaping Rin's grasp.
Rin was still holding onto Sesshoumaru's neck but turned around to talk to Megami.
"Miss Megami what are we having tonight?Is it fish like last night?Or is it chicken,or maybe something else tasty?"Rin kept on asking questions and let go of Sesshoumaru then walked towards Megami.
"Well Rin I thought we'd have some of everything,this is kinda like a celebration for me tonight.So I'm going to give you a good supper tonight."She grinned at the small girl and picked her up in her arms."Does that sound good to you?"
"Oh yay! A celebration,does that mean we can have fireworks?I've never had any before but I want to have some.Is that alright Miss Megami?"Rin had forgotten about the idea of food and was fascinated by the prospect of fireworks.
"Maybe we can have some fireworks,but not until we have supper."she sighed but then smiled.
"You never run out of energy do you Rin?"
Rin shook her head."Nope sure don't!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Mama,Mam a!When are we going to have fireworks?Are we going to have a big supper and friends over tonight?What are you doing?"Megami was being as hyper as ever.Who could blame her she was 7.
Her mother grasped her shoulder and smiled."Dear don't over excite yourself.Don't worry we're going to have fireworks after dinner,and yes we're going to have a big supper,and yes we're going to have company.Is that good enough this time?I do belive I answered you questions in the right order this time."
"Hey wait you forgot to answer one of them!"She pouted and put her hands on her hips.
"Oh yes that's right.I'm cooking dinner.Now why don't you go play?"
"Yay!"Megami ran off to go get her friends so they could come over and join the festivities.She walked to each and everyone oh her friends' house inviting them over.
She thought about who she had skipped,no one besides Sesshoumaru.She snapped her fingers."Oh yeah! I can't forget him."She half walked half jogged to Sesshoumaru's home.It was a large palace like place and it had everything in it that anyone could ever want.
"Humm...I wonder where Sesshoumaru is?."She searched near the small lake,Sesshoumaru's favorite spot to sit out in the garden,and then finally decided he wasn't outside.She knocked on th large read double doors.
"Hello is anyone home,it's me Megami.I've come calling on Sesshoumaru to see if he wanted to come to our celebration."

Quiet answered her.
"Sesshoumaru!Answer the door..dangit.I guess I'll have to go in.I don't think he'll mind.."She opened the door and it was kind of dark inside.
"Sesshoumaru?"She whispered,"are you here?"She slowly walked around the corner looking side to side at his wonderful home.
She was getting irritated now.She started walking faster getting used to her surroundings.That was when she heard a small wail,it sounded like...a baby?!She was following the sound now forgetting about Sesshoumaru temporarily.
"Wahhhh...wahhhaahhh."They baby was crying softly now.
She looked over the extremely fancy crib and what she saw was adorable!It was a young baby and it looked alot like Sesshoumaru but it had puppy ears.She smiled at him when he reached for her.
"Aww you poor thing you must want your mom."She picked him up gently and rocked him.
"Megami what are you doing in here?"Sesshoumaru said,almost demanded.
She turned around slowly trying not to wake the baby she had just rocked to sleep.
"Shhhhhh..the baby is sleeping."She frowned."Do you want to wake him up?"
He turned his head away,"I don't care what happens to the brat.He is of no concern to me.He's not even my full brother,so put him down and let's go.One of the servants heard you at the door and told me you were here and what you wanted."He walked out the door rather fast.
"Are we going or not Megami?"
She set the baby down.
"Ok ok I'm coming Mr.Grouchy....Sheesh I was only being nice."

She clapped her hands in pleasure at what she saw before her,food,drink,and snacks galore.She put her hands on her hips and smiled.
"Well I've certainly out done myself this time.Everyone please come in and be seated!"She hadn't let them earlier because she wanted to surprise them.
"Oh wow Miss Megami this is great!"Rin went and grabbed the first peice of candy she saw and ate it.
"Now Rin that is no way to act."He looked back to Megami,"Megami dear you did very nicely."
Megami was blushing at his comment.
"Ahh....you don't have to compliment me.....Oh hey wait where's Jaken?"She looked around for him.
"I'm not coming inside you witch,I don't want your poisoned food."Jaken was outside being irritating as always.
"Now now Jaken that's no way to act on such a nice occasion as this!"Megami smiled and walked towards the door and grabbed the back of Jaken's little robe then set him near the table.She bowed.
"Please take a seat we are all friends here."

~*~*~*After Supper*~*~*~

"Sesshoumaru would you like to go on a walk with me?I know it's late but we can gaze at the stars"she had just put Rin to bed and had shown Jaken to a seperate room for him to stay in.
"That would be pleasant,let's go."He opened the door for Megami and let her exit first.
"You know Megami with the way things were going I didn't ever think I would be here."
"Why's that?"
"Oh nevermind it's not important."
She smiled and leaned her head on his shoulder as they walked and as a response Sesshoumaru put his arm around her.
The walked aimlessly,letting their hearts take them as they please.They had passed by a beautiful lake and decided to sit under the stars.
"Oh Sess,this is so nice.I remember when I used to dream of a time like this.It was exactly like this,we'd be under the sky,moon,and stars.I would lean on your shoulder and you would lay me down gently then kiss me."She had a longing look in her eyes,but it was also a happy look.
"Megami,how much do you want that dream to come true?"
She was blushing,she knew what he meant.He was going to help her fufill her dream.
"I want it more than anything else,because everything else I have."She smiled
He held her close,moving away the strands of hair falling over her face.He smiled at her.She was blushing,her shyness was just too much for him.He closed his eyes and kissed her passionately.She held his face near and deepened the kiss.Just then there was a rustle in the near by area. Sesshoumaru's eyes narrowed and he stopped himself and Megami.
"Sesshoumaru?What's wrong?"She looked worried.
"Don't move."His voice had turned cold again.
Megami's heart froze,this didn't sound like the Sesshoumaru she knew...
Sesshoumaru gently pushed Megami away and called out,"Come out and show yourself,I know you're there."
A small boy with blonde hair and grey eyes,he seemed about the age of 12, appeared from out of the trees.
He smirked,"I see you're not as distracted as I thought.I had just planned to kill you and then your woman.And I'm sure you're just dying to know why right?Well too bad,I'm not telling."
'He's acting like a 6 year old!What a brat'
Sesshoumaru had been thinking the same thing.
"Tell me why you want to kill me or at least who gave you these orders."
He shook his head,"Nope,not telling unless you tell me where you precious little brother is."
"My brother?Why would I know where that dirty half breed is?"Sesshoumaru was quite irritated now.
Megami was still in a state of confusion when a girl that looked the exact same as the boy, grabbed Megami and took her away.
"Sesshoumaru!Help..."The rest of her words were muffled by the young girl's hand.She glared at Megami.
"Shut up!You're going to ruin everything.I don't want to be killed just yet"She narrowed her eyes and continued her abduction.
The boy was laughing insanely now,"You fool,you should have just told me!Oh and just so you know my name is Zel,and my sister's name is Mel.And by now your woman is at Naraku's castle!"
Sesshoumaru's eyes were red and his whole body was glowing an odd green,probably from his poison claws.
"You took Megami! I will not allow filth like you to touch her!"He charged towards Zel,and punched him square in the jaw.
Zel flew back quite a distance but hit a large tree and stopped.He grimaced and held his injured jaw.
"HOW DARE YOU RUIN MY FACE!!!"Zel pulled out a sword and flew at Sesshoumaru.Sesshoumaru smirked.
"Too slow."He dodged upwards and came down on Zel back really hard with his fist.
"Ahhhhh!"Zel slammed into the ground and left a rather large hole.
Sesshoumaru pulled him upwards and threw him up against a tree.It seemed like Zel stuck for a minute and then fell over on his face.He got up slowly shaking with pain.
"You'll regret this Sesshoumaru!"He crossed his arms and pulled out eight daggers and threw them one by one at Sesshoumaru.
He had dodged most of them but one stuck in his arm,it burned badly.It must have poison on it.He pulled the dagger out and threw it to the ground and pulled out his Light Whip.
"Take this you pathetic demon."He lashed out at Zel inflicting many, many cuts.
"Ahhh!Akkk,gahh..."He was in serious pain everything was whirling,he was losing blood.He fell to the ground.
Sesshoumaru looked at his fist,it was trembling.He was fighting like...Inu-Yasha.He neared Zel and looked at him.
"Zel! Where is the location of this Naraku's castle?"He had Zel by the collar of his light green kimono now.
Zel spat at him.
"Like I would tell you where he is.Even if I don't like him,he is my father and he does have power over my life.So I couldn't tell if I wanted to.Now let me go!"He sent a huge energy blast at Sesshoumaru's face.He didn't have much time to dodge, but he did have enough time to move his face.But he didn't move enough,it had cut up his whole left side of his face.He only had his right eye to see out of and everything was getting blurry.
He cupped his hurt face,"Damn you Zel..."
Everything got too blurry to see but he did feel a large energy force hit him.
'Tensaiga,you've saved me before.So save me now and please take me to Megami...'He blacked out...
Zel was quite satisfied with is work.But then again defeating Sesshoumaru didn't help him in his mission to find Inu-Yasha.And why exactly did Mel take that woman?He had just been playing along with it after all...
