Inuyasha had reluntantly called the one person he didn't want to see at that moment, Kagome. Over the phone he tried desperatly to explain Leyna's vision to her as he apologized for being so rash with her. It seemed that Kagome had no idea she had been under Kikyo's control, but she had said that Kikyo had been acting strange.

"Inuyasha, it's obvious you still love her. I knew you did when we first started dating. I just hope we can take care of this problem with my cousin and fast. Now, what do you need?"

"Leyna's in the hospital, but it doesn't look good. She collapsed and it seems as if she's dead."

"Did you feel her soul leave her body?"

"Yes, but it also feels as if part of it is lingering iside. Can you help?"

"I'll be right there."

With that she hung up and Inuyasha walked back to the room where they had placed Leyna. There were no machines hooked up to her because the doctors believed she was a lost cause. He stared at her still body as she lay in that cold, white room. He watched for any signs of life as he prayed to every god he knew. Inuyasha walked over to her bed and sat in the chair next to it. He picked up her hand and hel it as he fought back the tears. He had lost her once, and he didn't want to let her go. Inuyasha sat there for what seemed an eternity until he felt a hand upon his shoulder. He turned around and saw Kagome standing next to him. She smiled a weak smile and looked at the lifeless Leyna. She removed her hand from Inuyasha's shoulder and politley asked him to leave the room and to shut the door behind him. Inuyasha hesitantly did as he was asked and Kagome walked over to leyna. She sat down on the edge of the bed and placed a hand on Leyna's heart. She began to recall all of her miko training, and closed her eyes. She started a chant that asked the gods to bring back Leyna's soul. She suddenly felt an odd sensation of resistance and began to chant with more energy. She allowed some of her energy to flow into Leyna's body and opened her eyes. She smiled when she saw Leyna's chest moving and felt that her soul had returned. Leyna opened her eyes which were crimson and saw Kagome. Kagome watched as her eyes turned to a dull gray.

"Kagome" whispered Leyna.

"Shh, it's alright Leyna. Inuyasha explained everything to me. I think you need to rest before you tell us what happened. I'll go get Inuyasha for you."

She stood up to leave, but stopped when she heard leyna say," Thank you Kagome." She turned back around and smiled at Leyna.

"Your welcome. Inuyasha really loves you leyna. He needs you to stay alive."

Leyna closed her eyes and drifted asleep as Kagome left the room. She found Inuyasha waiting outside the room. He looked at her with pleading eyes.

"She's okay Inuyasha. She fell alsepp though, so please just let her rest."

"Thanks Kags."

"Inuyasha, I sensed something strange about her aura. She's not human, she seems almost celestial. I also sensed that there's about to be a great shift in her spirit."

"Well that would explain her visions lately, but I've always known she's not human. Can I go see her?"

"Yeah, but later I need to talk to her so we can figure some things out."

Inuyasha nodded and walked into the room. He sat down again and watched as Leyna slept. His mind raced with questions he desperately needed to ask her.

"The past shall soon be one with the present."

Leyna looked around trying to find the source of the voice. She saw no one, but felt a comforting presence. She looked around again, knowing she was dreaming. Again the voice spoke, but this time it seemed closer.

"Two hearts join to break the darkness's grasp on the heart's of humanity and demons. A forgotten people shall rise along with their leader, reborn."

"Who are you?" Leyna asked. She gasped as a figure stepped forward. It was a maiden with long, silver hair. Her eyes were a deep lavender, and her face was paleer than Leyna's. On her forhead there was a mark which glowed an iridescent blue.

''I am the oracle mi Lady."

"Why are you coming to me?"

''It is time for you to arise your highness. Soon your powers shall fully awaken and no beads will be able to contain them. Wear the necklace of the Angels and open the book. There you will find your answers."

"Where is the book?"

"You already have it mi Lady." Leyna was about to aske another question when she felt herself waking.

She opened her eyes to find a sleeping Inuyasha sitting next to her bed. She sat up and felt her heart punding in her chest.
