When Sesshomaru entered Charlotte High he was bombarded by an array of smells. Some were nice while others were enough to make his stomach turn. Yet through this mixture he could smell her scent. He decided to ask someone if they knew her.

"Excuse me, do you know where I can find Selene Blancas?", the demon lord asked politlely.

"She left like a couple of days ago. I think she went back to Japan", said Amanda. The man seemed oddly familiar to her. The beautiful man nodded his head in thanks.

Sesshomaru had to return to the Feudal Era before Selene regained all of her memories. As he turned he noticed out the corner of his eye that the young woman who assisted him was still standing there and staring. A sudden light went on in his head. He knew her from somewhere…ah yes..it was Arsinoe's elder sister Alana.

"You seem lost", he said turning around to face her once more.

"Have we met?", Amanda said.

"Long ago when I came to Gondor seeking a wife. I was a guest of your father's and that is where I met your sister. I asked for her hand in marriage", he blurted out. He had forgotten for an instant where he was. He realized his mistake when Amanda looked at him like he was an idiot.

"You wanted to marry April? You must be a big Tolkien fan like Selene, huh?", the utterly confused teenager inquired.

"Walk with me", he said as he held out his hand to her. Amanda couldn't explain why but she did as told. She felt safe around him, as if she had known him for quite some time. When they reached the outside patio near the front of the school she felt sleep taking over her. She reluctantly gave in.

Sesshomaru began his flight with his sleeping sister in his arms. `Arsinoe will be most pleased having her sister home', he smiled inwardly at the thought. Everything that was stolen from him and his wife was coming back together piece by piece. Soon everything would be as it should. If only he could find his beloved.

As they reached the cottage Selene had a sort of memory flash. She was a little child and was playing in the front with another small child. They were running around a beautiful figure. She turned toward the children and sadness was written in her face as well as her soul. She knew this to be Arwen. It seemed all she did was cry. The distant figure was clad in black with a veil across her face. It seemed that her sadness and anguish affected even the elements of the earth. Selene turned to look at the young girl beside her. It was a relative named Alana. Just as the connection between the memory and Selene began to come clear she hit a mental block. She realized they had stopped and was roughly brought back to reality when Inuyasha dropped her.

"We're here", he said calmly.

"Are you sure this is it, Inuyasha? I mean it looks like no one has lived here for years", Kagome said as she took in the sight. The house was in sad shape. Ivy had covered the entire wooden frame. The windows were dirty with years of dust. The floorboards of the porch were lifted as weeds filled the flowerless plant beds. The house was depressing and lonely just the woman in Selene's vision.

"No he's right. I remember this place. In some way it feels like I've been here before. She brought us here after Father's death", Selene caught herself. She didn't know how she knew that but she did. It scared her.

"She was so sad. It seemed she would never smile. She use to sit in her room for hours staring at my father's portrait and reading through all of his papers. I figured she would die sooner than expected. She wilted away in front of my sister and I. Never did I leave her side until I met him", Selene continued. It was like an inner part of her wanted to be heard and would not shut up no matter how much her mind screamed for it to.

"What are you talking about? You don't even have a sister and your mother lives in Kansas. (A/N: Ironic isn't it?) Are you alright?", Kagome asked.

"Who are you people and what are you doing on my property?", said a woman as she stepped out of the door way. She was an older version of Selene with silver streaks in her hair. Her eyes looked wise with time and she was dressed in a gray attire. "What are you here for? How many times do I have to tell that useless beast that I want to be left alone? How much pain will he inflict on an old woman vainly waiting for her daughter to return", the woman continued.

Her anger was beginning to show. She was about to start yelling in Elvish when one of the young women turned around. `Oh Valar!', Arwen thought, `Arsinoe?'.

"Arsinoe? Is it really you?", the elvish woman said inching closer.

"I'm sorry. I'm not who you think I am", Selene said backing away. She recognized the woman, but who she was did not register. `Worry not child. As long as you remember the important parts you are fine. The details will eventually fill in', said a voice inside her mind. It was Arwen's.

"Yes, but I don't really see the connection. I see faces so many faces…and I remember their names but not…I don't see how they fit into my life", Selene said quietly. She looked over to Inuyasha and Kagome whom seemed lost in the entire conversation.

"Do you remember me? Alana? Your father? You must remember someone", Arwen said hysterically. She had to make her remember some part of her life.

"I remember this house, a man's portrait and a young girl named Alana. I know who you are, but I have few memories. You feel so close like family yet so far away like a stranger", Selene stated regretfully. She wanted to remember everything. It was on the verge of her mind. Every time she came close to remembering everything she'd go blank. So much so that she would almost forget her name. It was like she didn't want to remember something.

Arwen felt hurt by the girl's last remark. She wanted to grab her and shake her until she remembered but then again patience was always a virtue. "Do you even remember that you're married? To a demon named Sesshomaru?", she questioned. By this time she was desperate.

Selene went pale…so it was true. Sesshomaru was married before. He told her that she had been the only person he married.

"I thought you knew I would come for you", Sesshomaru hissed. He had to readjust the sleeping form in his arms.

"Alana!", screamed Arwen as she ran to the young girl. She gently caressed her face. She motioned for the demon to bring her inside the cottage. When they reached the bedroom he set her gently down on the silken bed. It was white and gold with the tree of Gondor in the middle surrounded by several stars. There was elvish writing on the edges. The bed frame was carved with intricate and painstaking detail.

Selene was the last person to walk into the room. She couldn't believe it! It was Amanda! She looked over at Sesshomaru who was practically beaming as if he discovered the freaking Arc of the Covenant! She stormed out of the room before she lost all control. She got all the way off of the porch when she was stopped by a vice-like grip on her arm. She spun around to slap whoever it was, but was stopped by another hand grasping her wrist. Glaring daggers in into his amber eyes and daring him to speak she tried to twist out of his grasp.

"You never told me you were married to another woman! You lied to me! You said I was your first and last!", Selene screamed fiercely as she tried to wiggle out of his grip.

"You are my first and last. You are Arsinoe Evenstar. You are my wife. I wanted to be present when you were confronted by all of this. I even brought your sister to make the process easier!", Sesshomaru was becoming angry. He wanted to know who brought her here in the first place.

"I'm not Arsinoe Evenstar! I'm Selene Blancas! How could you!? Amanda is not my sister! This isn't real! It can't be! I'm dreaming this all up!", she yelled with all of her might. The sound of her scream hurt Sesshomaru's ears so badly that he immediately let go of her to cover them. Selene took her window of opportunity and ran.

FEW HOURS LATER

Selene reached the well and was almost about to jump in when she felt someone's hand touch her shoulder. She turned around to see instead of Sesshomaru, a golden-haired blue-eyed elf.

"Legolas!", Selene screamed. With that all of her memories came rushing back. All of the returning power caused her to faint. The Elven prince caught the fair maiden before she fell to the ground. He picked her up bridal style and looked down at her angelic face. Her hair had grown to the middle of her thighs. Her ears began to point up at the top. She had a blue crescent moon with the Evenstar in the center. Her clothes changed to a thin silken dress that appeared a whitish silver in the moon light.

He decided to take her back to the past to retrieve the rest of her powers. He would return to Rivendell in Middle Earth. He would return to the meeting of the One Ring.
