Saiyoua's Greatest Fear

A little while after Saiyoua and Lucina came back from the past, Saiyoua had checked to see what time it was, 9:26PM, and Lucina had walked over to her canopy bed, got in bed, and went to steep immediately. While that happened Saiyoua was getting ready to take a relaxing bath to think things over. After she was done getting her things ready Saiyoua walked into the lilac and purple colored bathroom, and put her hair up so that it wouldn't get wet yet. Once done she started to relax and started to let the warm bath soothe all of her muscles. 'I wonder how Lord Kenkaku knew about when we were little.' She wondered 'I could remember almost exactly what happened that day, as if it was yesterday. But the only reason I can remember it is because that is one of the very few memories that I have of my mother... My real mother.'

Somewhere above the point where the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Lands meet, there was a beautiful turquoise colored castle floating on some white fluffy clouds in the clear blue sky. The castle consisted of two gardens, one on the eastern side of the castle and one on the left. It also had six floors to the house. The first consisted of the main and mini studies, the kitchen, dining room and of course the mini and main ballrooms. The second consisted of the guestrooms and 'special' guest rooms. The third had the family rooms, and the fourth had the servants quarters. The fifth however no one at all was allowed in there except for some selected servants and the Lord and Lady of the castle. So no one ever knew what was in there, but the few who found out that weren't supposed to mysteriously died two days after they found out. But anyway on with the story:

In the eastern gardens, there was a little girl and her mother. "Mommy, when are we going to the garden?" A three-year-old Saiyoua asked her mother. Little Saiyoua had all of her markings except for the upside-down crescent moon with the three tear drops on her forehead. Her mother was very beautiful; she had black hair with dark red bangs and tips, as well as the most beautiful aquamarine eyes anyone could ever see. Her mother was Himitsu no Hakubaikou which means, 'The White Plum Secret' She was the dragon goddess of darkness, with the power over two of the elements, fire and earth. She was a very nice lady and could get along with any of the other gods and goddesses. No one could ever really hate her, at least no one except her own mother. [AN: what that means is that Saiyoua's mother's own mother doesn't like her at all. does that make any sense at all? if you have any questions about it then ask me in your review ^_^!]

"Well, why don't we go now?" She had replied. Saiyoua just smiled, grabbed her hand and they went out into the gardens. The gardens were Saiyoua's favorite place to be in the whole castle. She then let go of her mother's hand and started running off in the gardens to play.

"Sai-dear, don't run off too far away from home!" Her mother called after her, but little Saiyoua wasn't paying any attention to her mother, while she was picking flowers. Saiyoua then saw a red, blue, and purple dotted butterfly and started chasing it around the garden. Saiyoua was only paying attention to the butterfly and so she didn't realize that she had gone into the forest. Saiyoua then started to hear growling and so she stopped chasing the butterfly and turned around wide-eyed. Behind her was the most beautiful dog demon she had ever seen! He had long white hair pulled up into a high ponytail with the tips of his hair reaching right below his butt. He had beautiful golden eyes and three marks on his face, one blue crescent moon and two marks on his cheeks, one below each of his eyes. The marks looked like purple colored scars (like the ones Inuyasha has when his demon blood takes over), but he was very handsome save for the apologetic look in his eyes. He then took a swipe at her; just actually trying to get her scared enough to call her mother.

"Mommy! Help me!" She screamed. A few seconds later her mother appeared beside her.

"Oh my!" She stated, terrified for her daughter's life.

"Please, put her down! I'll do anything! Just please, spare her life!"

"Fine, I will on one condition." The demon replied, still holding Saiyoua through clenched teeth.

"Ok! Anything, just tell me what it is!" She told him while hot tears were coming down her cheeks, to land on the ground at her feet.

"You have to die." He replied. He then used his claws and tore her in half.

Then with her last words she asked, "Why, Inutaisho? Why?"

He just frowned and replied "Your husband is why." She then took her last breath and smiled, all the while thinking, 'Deep down I knew he was like that, but my love for the demon he once was kept on insisting he wasn't. So I... believed in him to... not be the demon he... really was.'

"Mommy!" Little Saiyoua yelled while being put down on the ground, and trying to run over to where her mother's dead body was laying. She then suddenly stopped mourning over her mother's death and turned around.

"I'm sorry, but your father..." Inutaisho tried to explain.

"He is not and will not ever be my father!" She screamed at him. She then ran off into the woods never looking back nor crying. But a lone tear made it's way down her cheek, and crystallized and turned into a blood red jewel when it was falling to the cold ground below. Golden eyes watched the lone tear crystal fall. The owner of the golden eyes, Inutaisho, ran towards it with his demon speed and caught it before it could reach the ground. He looked at the blood red jewel settled in his palm with fascination and he had decided to keep it safe for as long as he could. There is a myth that one has yet to prove that when a goddess only cries one tear it will be the last, so it will crystallize and will live forever.

'That was the very day that I became what I am today. After I had gone back home I had found out that Lucina's mother was just murdered as well. So I set out to find our fathers and kill them. Which, I might add, I did quite nicely at.' She thought while finishing up on washing her hair.

She then got out of the bathtub, dried off and got dressed. She had gotten dressed into a red and black plaid shirt with black sheer sleeves. The shirt was short, was a button-up, and ties right below her breasts. She was also wearing skintight black pants that were 80% Rayon, 16% Nylon, and 4% Spandex. The pants had four pockets, and two of them had chains. One chain was on her back pocket and the other was on her side pocket above her left knee. She then went out of the bathroom and into her room across the hall. When she went in she saw Lucina still lying down on her bed asleep with the only difference of some drool coming out of the corner of her mouth. 'I almost feel sorry for her' She thought. She then went over to the trunk at the foot of her bed and opened it. Once it was open she saw them, the few things that actually mean something to her. Since she hadn't been through the trunk in over four years, she decided that she would look in it a little later. Instead she just dug in the far right corner of the trunk so that she could find what she was looking for. She kept searching with her fingers until they brushed against something hard. She looked down to see what it was and saw that it was the exact thing that she was searching for. She quickly grabbed, and pulled it out of the trunk. The thing that she pulled out was a box, a small jewelry box. The jewelry box was black with the design of flames dancing around it. She smiled and opened the small box. Inside was her mother's favorite jewelry. Saiyoua never wanted to wear them until something special happens, like maybe a masquerade party. 'Yes, a masquerade party would be nice.' She thought, while daydreaming about what that could be like.

A few minutes later she came out of her stupor and closed the box, when somebody said, "Aw, that's so cute! Who you thinking 'bout?"

Saiyoua just turned around and said to the intruder, "Lucina, you ass! Shut up and mind your own damn business! Besides, I wasn't thinking 'bout anything, and especially not anyone."

"Hey what a coincidence, me neither!" Lucina replied a little too excitedly.

"Why doesn't that surprise me?" She said in a deadpan voice.

"What were you doing anyway?" Lucina asked, interested in what Saiyoua was doing.

"I was looking through my trunk to find something, and I found it. So, go." Saiyoua answered truthfully.

"Okay, I'll go. Just call if you need me." Lucina replied, dejected. She then turned around, walked out the room, and went downstairs.

Saiyoua just sighed and opened the box, so that she could go back to what she was doing. She then remembered what Lord Kenkaku and Lady Chikara of the Eastern Lands told them.

"Saiyoua, that was well... disgusting." Lucina shivered.

"Now, why would you say that?" Saiyoua asked her.

"Because you gutted him out like a fish!" She answered.

"Lucina, he was a fish." Saiyoua said while washing the blood off her hands in the river. She then took the fish over to the fire that she made and proceeded to cook it. After a while they started to hear some leaves rustling in the bushes ahead of them. The rustling suddenly stopped after a while and out came two demons, one was female and one was male. Saiyoua and Lucina then recognized the male as Lord Kankaku, but they couldn't recognize the female. [AN: I don't think I explained what Lord Kenkaku looks like, so I'm going to explain it now.] Lord Kenkaku has a well-built and toned chest. He has short spiky red hair with green bangs that were also spiked up, and the picture of a leaf on the center of his forehead. He was wearing forest green hakamas and an olive green manto (cloak), which was showing his chest. Lady Chikara on the other hand had long lilac colored hair and the picture of a water lily on her forehead. She was wearing a pair of purple hakamas, a pink haori, and a lavender manto (cloak).

Lady Chikara was the first to speak up. "Saiyoua and Lucina, I believe."

"Yes, what do you need?" Saiyoua asked her.

"We have come to invite you to a party." Lord Kenkaku told her.

"What kind of party?" Lucina asked, starting to get excited.

"We have come to believe that you don't like for anyone to know who you are, right? So we have decided for it to be a masquerade party." Lady Chikara answered.

"Right, we shall go. When and where is it going to be?" Saiyoua stated.

"It is going to be in four nights, and it will be at our castle." Lady Chikara answered.

"We will see you then." Saiyoua said while waving them goodbye as the Lord and Lady left the presence of the campfire and it's inhabitants.

'The party will be tomorrow night.' Saiyoua thought, 'We still need to get our costumes.' Saiyoua then hurriedly closed the box, set it on her bed, and went off to get Lucina. She opened, walked down, and then closed the stairs that led to their room. She then walked down the other set of stairs and made her way to a hallway where Lucina would probably be. She then turned around the corner, went into the hallway, and saw Lucina backed up against the wall that was right across from the bathroom and she looked terrified.

"Lucina, what's wrong?" Saiyoua asked. Lucina said nothing; instead she started shivering and pointed to the bathroom door.

"So, what's wrong with it?" Saiyoua asked her.

"Nothing's wrong with it. What's wrong is what's inside." Lucina answered, still shivering. Saiyoua decided to see what was inside that was scaring Lucina half to death, so she opened it and saw...

[AN: bum buumm buuuuummmm]

Tyro... clipping his nose hairs!

Saiyoua then turned around and closed the door again. She then slid down the hallway wall and started shaking uncontrollably, because she was trying to keep herself from laughing. Besides that would scare Lucina even more.

Once she finally got her laughter under control she stood up and looked at Lucina, "Lucina, we need to go get our costumes."

"Oh, right. Let's go." Lucina told her. [AN: I really can't do shopping scenes]

After they were done shopping they drove over to one of the restaurants that they go to regularly. They then parked the car in front of a restaurant called, Enriquez, walked inside, and followed a waitress to a table. They then sat down in two selected chairs and waited for the waitress to come back.

Two minutes later the waitress came back and asked "May I take your order?"

"Yes, you may." Saiyoua answered.

"Are you going to have the usual?"

"Yes, I will."

"Ok then, now what would you like to have tonight, Lucina?" The waitress asked.

"Um, I'll have some nachos with extra cheese and with a sprinkle of extra hot sauce." Lucina answered.

"And what will your drinks be?"

"I'll have a Dr. Pepper." Lucina answered.

"I'll take a Strawberry and Chocolate swirl Martini." Saiyoua replied.

"Ok, I'll be back in a few minutes to bring you your order." The waitress then walked away towards the kitchen.

"Ok, Saiyoua I have got to ask you a question."

"Sure, go ahead."

"Why do you always get that?"

"Get what?"

"Get Fajitas."

"Because I like it."

"But it's disgusting!"

"You just say that because you've never tried it before."

"It's still disgusting."

A few minutes later the waitress came back with their food.

"Ok, who ordered the Nachos?"

"I did." Lucina answered.

"Ok, so you ordered the Fajitas?"

"Yes, I did." Saiyoua answered as the waitress put their orders in front of them. The waitress was just about to walk away when Lucina wanted to ask her something. "Excuse me, miss. But can you please answer a question for me?"

"Sure."

"I was wondering, how come every time that we come to eat here that you are working and just happen to become our waitress?"

"I don't know. I have indeed wondered about that sometimes but I never could figure out why. But it's probably just Fate at least I think it is. Oh well." The waitress then set down their drinks and headed of to take someone else's orders. Lucina then started to eat her nachos while Saiyoua brabbed her lemon and queezed the juice onto the pieces of beef fajita meat. She then started to eat her fajitas by taking the fajita meat, putting it on a flour tortilla, and putting spanish rice beans and sour cream on it as well. She then rolled it up like a burrito and ate it. The meal then continued to progress the same way until they were done. Once finished they paid for their food and gave 20% of the cost of the meal to the waitress as a tip. They then went back out to the car and drove back home in complete silence.

After they got home Saiyoua went into their bedroom, walked over to her black canopy bed and went to sleep while Lucina brushed her hair and got started on sorting things out, like organizing her closet for instance.

~*~ Saiyoua's Dream ~*~

Saiyoua and Lucina were in a field of grass, full of beautiful flawers, like roses, chrysanthemums, tulips, and other beautiful flowers. Saiyoua was sitting down with her back up against a tree and Lucina was laying down with her head on Saiyoua's lap. They both were quite happy while Saiyoua gently guided her hands through Lucina's white tresses. They stayed like that for a few moments before Lucina began to fade away.

"Lucina! Lucina! Come Back!" Saiyoua yelled once she had disappeared completely. After Lucina had disappeared completely the field of flowers faded into nothin leaving behind darkness for as far as you could see. Saiyoua then stood up and continued to look for her 'little sister'. SHe ran for what seemed like hours until she found Lucina laying down on the ground in a fatal position. Saiyoua quickly ran over to her and set her head on her lap, only to find out that Lucina had been killed.

"NO!!" She screamed.

~*~ End Dream ~*~

Saiyoua then woke up with a thin sheet of sweat coverig her body. She then looked over and saw that Lucina was alive and well. She then got up out of her bad, sat down next to Lucina, pulled her into her lap, and started rocking herself while silently whispering, "Thank God, she's ok"

"Saiyoua? Are you ok?" Lucina asked worriedly.

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm just glad that you're ok" Saiyoua answered still rocking back and forth on Lucina's bed.
