“So... who might be this lady?” The cold voice slithered to Kagome, reminding her of Naraku, verily.

“Higurashi, Kagome.” Akito smirked, which was not a sign. “Miss Kagome… what brings you my humble home…”

 

Kagome spoke with no fear like Tohru, “I am here to visit my closest sister, Tohru.” Akito's smirk melted, sensing no fear. All his courtesies had long been gone, and he began to talk.

 

“All the 12 zodiacs are to be solitude; no mere human can touch them. They are mine, and no one else! Do you have an answer to solving the curse!? Do you? If not, you are…”

Tohru broke him off. “We have.”

 

All was silent. No one had ever dared to cut off Akito when he was talking, and Tohru had the pride of being the first. “What?!”

Kagome then stood up. “She said that we had! Are you deaf or something?!” Both party decided to be rough.

 

All the 12 zodiacs were shocked. A new war started, of defying and scolding erupted and sparks of fire awakened.

 

“We have an idea to break the curse, and you the damn to say we don't! Who you think you are? Sure, you are god, a freakin god. You don't treat subjects well, and you sure suck like hell!

If no one ever told you that, I will! You suck! You are just a low down god, and even mere human can spit on you! Even with the power, you will only grow anger and hate!”

 

Akito sure was hell angry, and he grabbed the nearest item and reached for Kagome. A knife. On instinct, Kagome jumped away and backhanded Akito.

Tohru kicked her on the face and snatched the knife away, throwing it so that it stuck on the wall.

Kagome held Akito while Tohru walked to him.

 

“Why? If you want your people to be devoted to you, you treat them well and they will! Do you have to be so cold? Cold like the white flaky snow. But snow will always melt and give way to spring, always.

Life is not always about solitude, and happiness comes in pairs. As long as you subside your power on them, slowly they will like you!”

 

Akito snorted. “Will they?! They are pining for me to die, die earlier, so that no one will shout at them. It was all destined to be like this! Nothing can be changed!”

 

The echo of flesh hitting flesh sounded in the Honke.

 

“Then be the first to change it! Why can you be so one tracked! Everything can be changed, and you can be the one. Changing everything will mean a new decade to step away and open another door.

Why!? If everyone is like you, there will be no light for this world! What is hope for! I hope that is slap is worth it for you wake up.”

 

Tohru spoke. Kagome then let Akito crumple to the floor. Suddenly, the wind picked up and leaves swirled around it.

The 12 zodiacs emerged from each body and floated to the thin air, each with smiles.

 

Thank you, kind souls… We'll remember you all in heaven. Miko Tohru and Miko Kagome; protector of the Jewels of the 4 souls and the Golden Scroll Of The 1000 spells.

 

The simple speech could be heard by everyone and Tohru and Kagome knelt and bowed.

All the 12 people now were freed and so is Akito's.

 

 

Now, all lives are normal. Kagome had decided to go to the Feudal Era to visit her friends and be Inuyasha's girlfriend. Tohru had not decided who to be with, so her decision was unmade.

 

But, Tohru's personality never changed after Kagome left. Like in the long last fairytale…

 

Those who are destined to break the curse, thou will meet with fate and hope. Once the curse is broken, thou spell shall break and revert to normal with responsibilities a hand.
