Chapter 8: What if god was one of us
Author: Hey i have been having writers block. So sorry for not writing. I decided to continued writing now that the holiday is over! So anyways here is the next chapter. and by the way i dont own any of the anime charaters nor the artists who sing the songs!
Sam: About time and if u did own the anime charaters i would want half

Author: anyways! on with the show!
Light walks up the the stage as both me and Selena were working on the lighting. once he got on stage, we motioned him to the microphone and Selena dimmed the looked down waiting for the music to start. L suddenly started to bite his thumb. We started to giggle. The music began and Light lifted up his head.
If God had a name what would it be?
And would you call it to his face?
If you were faced with him
In all his glory
What would you ask if you had just one question?
Light looks up to the lights and grins evily. L still stares and bites his thumb so hard that it bleeds. Ryuk just cackles! Light taps his feet to the beat.

Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus

Light lifts his hands. I start to chuckle and nudge selena. She smiles and shakes her head.

in things like heaven and in Jesus and the saints
and all the prophets
Light snorts and turns his head to Ryuk. Ryuk just keeps laughing. Light turns back and notices L looking at him intently. Light frowns turns his head ever so slightly to glare at us. I just keep chuckling.

He taps to the beat again. I notice L moving closer to the stage. I nudge Selena. She shakes her head and Wispears ''I wonder if L has figured it out''
I Smile and wispear back ''i am starting to think he does look how he is getting closer to the stage. We need to do something.''
Back up to heaven all alone
Nobody calling on the phone
except the Pope maybe in Rome
Selena smirks and pulls out the controls. She turns the dial down and punches in L's collar number and he jumps a little. We snicker. And look back at Light. He is smirking also.

" Well done Light! Now on with the next singer! Selena who is next!"
"Well Lia our next singer will be Kagome and she will be singing bossy" i screamed
Kagome pales then gets up. She slowly walks to the stage
