Author’s Note: This is a crossover of Full Metal Alchemist and Inuyasha. Don’t sue me if I get info wrong, for I have only seen 6 or 7 episodes.

" Really.." Ed said, " Well, if you want to join the military so badly, then why don't you explain why you look like me!"

" Well" Hiro replied, " There's a story behind that... but I'll tell you later."

" Well," Ed sighed, " let's get you signed up..." They went to the sign-up stand and did paperwork, signatures,etc. Doesn't really matter. " Exams will be on Thursday, if you pass you start work immediatly, til' then you get to stay here, yadda yadda yadda." Ed groaned," Damn to the depths whoever put me on sign-up stand duty! I hate it, it's so boring!"

"There, There," Hiro said, patting Ed's back," I feel for y-" He stopped in the middle of his sentence and blushed.

" What, WHAT. What the hell are you looking at that makes you so red!" Ed looked in the direction he was staring. It was at none other than Risa Hawkeye, getting ready to pass out fliers.

" OHHHH, her," he said, slapping his palm to his forehead, " That's Risa Hawkeye, she's specializes in-"

" Hey, HEY, Get AWAY!"

CLAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!!

Miroku, being the pervert he is, had been groping Winry, and , ofcourse, he got a wrench applyed to both his head AND his face. And then, of course, Sango gave him her own wound, with her boomerang.

" WHAT THE-" Ed was very, very mad. He went over there, and, well, let's just say that Miroku was so bruised, he looked like he had blackish-brown skin.

" Ummm... okay..." Hiro sweatdropped and also said this: " That's not only going to hurt for a day, I'd say, more like a week!"

Ed came back and said," As I was saying, she specializes in Guns. You know," he said," I don't believe I know how well you do alchemy. So, I was thinking we could go one-on-one."

" Name Your Game"

" Fighting" Ed replied," Use anything."

All right, now, in the story right now, it's 7:30, just so you know. Anyway, they went to a field, and, everyone came, considering that it actually DIDN'T last ALL day, just for FOUR hours! Well, while Hiro was getting ready, he looked at Risa, who was sitting cross-legged, and blushed. He looked away, and she blushed. Focus, he thought, Focus! Risa's in the crowd! You want to impress her. Now, all I have to do is watch Ed's movements and predict what he'll do! He smiled and went to the ground. He used alchemy to make a javelin. He grasped it. " YOU'RE GOING DOWN" he yelled.

Ed chose to make a sword out of his arm. " Quite the opposite" he said.

" AND" Al (referee) shouted, " GO"

Hiro sprinted forward and saw Ed go to the side and ducked while Ed hacked at the air. Hiro slid under Ed and striked his back with the safe-end of his javelin. He then saw Ed turn around to face him. Ed's eyes darted to a nearby tree and went forward, yet to the side a bit. He jumped, ricocheted off the tree and, guessing Hiro's thoughts, slashed to the side, for Hiro had rolled to the side.

Hiro had a horrible gash on his chest, but, ofcourse, would get no scars later, and had been disarmed. Right when Ed was about to give the finishing blow, Hiro changed his arm into a metal crossbow and jumped backwards. He ricocheted against the tree, got to a very far-away place, and shot a metal arrow(no arrowhead).He had a definet victory. He changed his arm back to normal and went over to Ed. He offered his hand and Ed took it. He used it to help himself get up and said, " Apparently, you're very good!" He smiled. Hiro smiled too.

" Now," he said," I have to find the guy who, at the beginning, said 'Battle of the Shrimps'! I'll tear him to PIECES!"

That night, Hiro sat down on his bed with a bandadge around his gash and heard a knock at the door. He opened it and saw Ed. " Hey, ummmmm... you know that story you said you would tell me about why you look-"

" Like you?" Hiro cut him off and sighed, " Well, sit down on the bed. I'll tell ya'"

They sat down on the bed and Hiro started off, " Well, to make a long story short, Neko and I's last name isn't Tagushia. It's Elric."

Ed had a surprised look on his face and his jaw dropped.

" Thought that would be very shocking," Hiro chuckled, " Well, Hohenheim and Mom had 2 other babies: Me and Neko. I was born mere minutes before you, and Neko seconds before Alphonse. Well, then the Ishbalans came to the hospital and mother told us to sneak out and that there should be a new guardian for us( by then I understood english perfectly, which is wierd). After we found him, he died my hair orange and Neko's red. Then, we found out that his name was Ran Tagushia. Edward, We're TWINS! I just found out myself a few weeks ago by my new fathers last words:' I shall always be with you, Hiro Elric. Always"

Ed: Please.....*murmurs* ( but that WAS shocking)
Hiro: OH, I'm PROUD TO BE AN ELRIC, WHERE AT LEAST I KNOW I'M FREE, TO USE ANY ALCHEMY!
