(Now, things start to calm down in the girls' dorm and most of the boys leave, as well as Penguin-who is STILL fighting with Folken while trying to get rid of Duo and trying to pay more attention to a mournful Quatre-as well as Eriya and Naria, who have pretty much given up on the Folken situation at this point. Shippou and Kohaku are the only guys who remain in the dorm. Kohaku and Celena are hugging, Kohaku stroking her hair comfortingly as she cries on his shoulder. Sango is still smiling, happily watching Celena and her brother. Meanwhile, Shippou and Rin are sitting on Rin's bed, talking.)

Rin: That was so scary! Rin was scared they were going to die!

Shippou: *patting her shoulder* It's okay, everyone's alright now.

Rin: *cheering up a bit* But the restaurant was really fun! And you were really good waiter-the uniform looked really cute on you!

Shippou: *shyly* You think so?

Rin: Yeah! It was a perfect fit!

Shippou: But it was too big…

Rin: Yeah, well, no one really noticed-it just made it even more cute!

Shippou: Oh, well, thanks! Well, I think you always look cute, Rin.

Rin: *blushing* Ah…arigatou, Shippou-chan.

Shippou: *blush* …chan? Oh, okay, Rin-chan! *they hug*

(Meanwhile, in the boys dorm, Dilandau has gotten up to check on his guymelef still in his pj's, worried that Viole messed it up…)

Dilandau: I swear, if he screwed up the settings again…I'll roast him!

Heero: *Heero is hiding in the Alseides melef, lying in wait for the innocent Dilandau…wait…innocent? Dilandau? Feh!* …

Dilandau: *opening the cockpit* Okay, let's see what I have to have fixed…eh? What are you?! And why are you in my guymelef?!

Heero: *leaps forward and punches him in the stomach, which of course magically makes him unconscious* Mission accomplished. *he takes Dilly over to the room with the screen where Naraku and Dornkirk are sweet-talking each other.*

Naraku: Ah, my widdle Dorny-kins, all is going perfectly in our brilliant scheme.

Dornkirk: Indeed, my Monkey-kins.

Heero: *entering with an unconscious Dilandau over his shoulder* Mission accomplished.

Dornkirk: Excellent. Strap him to the board over there, and make sure the bands are tight enough! *Heero complies immediately*

Naraku: And here is Dorny-kins' special sleeping elixir. Inject him with this. *hands Heero a syringe filled with a clear fluid* Kukuku.

Heero: Hou. *takes the syringe and injects Dilandau*

Naraku: Well, this is an obedient enough minion, don't you think my dearest Dorny-kins?

Dornkirk: Truly, although I do not think he actually thinks, but for a minion, that is a preferred quality, don't you agree, Monkey-wonkey-kins?

Heero: *standing by, waiting for further instructions*

(So, it's the middle of the night and Kikyou is sitting in the kitchen in Hitomi's Escaflowne pj's drinking a glass of warm milk. Allen, also wearing his pj's with women's lingerie printed on them, could not sleep and so decided to go on a walk. Seeing Kikyou sitting there all alone, his Allen-ness compels him to go over and talk to the hot girl.)

Kikyou: *looking up at him* What do you want?

Allen: *sitting across from her* I couldn't sleep.

Kikyou: Well, neither could I. You can have some warm milk if you'd like.

Allen: *shrugs* Why not.

Kikyou: *pours him a glass out of a carton she had put in the microwave* Here.

Allen: Arigatou. *sips some*

Kikyou: *stare*

Allen: So, I hear you are a powerful priestess.

Kikyou: *smiles* Oh?

Allen: I hear that you can purify monsters.

Kikyou: Youkai, yes.

Allen: Right, youkai…can you purify anything else?

Kikyou: What do you mean?

Allen: *shrugs* Oh, I don't know…humans, perhaps?

Kikyou: *shakes her head* It doesn't work that way.

Allen: Ah, I see. *sips more milk, still staring at her*

Kikyou: Why are you staring at me?

Allen: How could I do anything but gaze upon such a beauty?

Kikyou: *smiling* A beauty, heh? Hmm…you aren't the only one who thinks that.

Allen: What do you mean?

Kikyou: Both Inu-Yasha and Naraku's human side seem to agree with you. *chuckles*

Allen: Naraku? You mean, the one who's in love with Emperor Dornkirk?

Kikyou: Yes, he has changed some….

Allen: And Inu-Yasha? I thought he was with Kagome.

Kikyou: Feh-that little wench. Yes…I suppose she does love Inu-Yasha, but as of yet his life is still mine.

Allen: His…life?

Kikyou: *laughs* Well, I certainly have no intention of showing him any love! No…but someday I will drag him into Hell with me.

Allen: Eh…why?

Kikyou: *shrugs* It is our destiny.

Allen: Your destiny? But…

Kikyou: What?

Allen: I don't believe that destiny should govern people's lives. It might in some cases, I know of several, but if one can avoid it, it is best to live as if destiny played no role.

Kikyou: *slightly interested* What do you mean?

Allen: Fate can be controlled, you see. Controlled by people like…Emperor Dornkirk. But I think it is better if people make choices that lead to their future, not that a certain future is ordained and that whatever choice you make will inevitably take you to that end.

Kikyou: Hmm…well, I suppose that is an honorable belief. My life and Inu-Yasha's are tied, although at times I do wish I could sever that tie….

Allen: Why don't you? Take fate into your own hands. You are a powerful priestess, are you not? Then perhaps you also have the power of choice.

Kikyou: *smiling, amused* The power of choice, eh? You are an interesting one…far more amusing than Onigumo or Inu-Yasha, or even Naraku, for that matter.

Allen: Is that…good?

Kikyou: Indeed. I like you. We should talk more often.

Allen: We can keep talking now.

Kikyou: *shrugs* I suppose. Well, your opinion on destiny seems to be interesting. How did you found such beliefs?

Allen: I suppose because my sister was kidnapped when she was only a young child and Emperor Dornkirk performed fate-alteration experiments on her.

Kikyou: Fate-alteration experiments? What is that?

Allen: The deliberate changing of a person's fate using science.

Kikyou: Science?

Allen: *nods* Yes, using machines…I suppose you could call it a form of magic.

Kikyou: Hmm. And what did they do to your sister?

Allen: *hesitantly* Well, you know my sister Celena?

Kikyou: Oh, is she your sister?

Allen: Yes, well, you see, they changed her fate and were able to transform her into Dilandau.

Kikyou: Dilandau? The boy obsessed with fire?

Allen: *nods* Yes.

Kikyou: When did this happen?

Allen: She was 5, I was 15.

Kikyou: And how old are you now?

Allen: 25.

Kikyou: So, this happened some time ago. And you managed to somehow transform her back into her true form?

Allen: Well, I didn't personally do anything. It seems she did it on her own. I was fighting with Van and Celena stepped out of Dilandau's guymelef.

Kikyou: You and Van were fighting? But I thought you two were allies.

Allen: That was another run-in with fate. We were within Emperor Dornkirk's zone of Absolute Fortune. Van wished to kill Dilandau, but at this point I knew that he was in fact my sister. It was a complicated issue, and not something that can really be explained.

Kikyou: I see, so in your world one is able to control fate more directly. Hmm…Inu-Yasha and my fate, however, isn't quite like that. I died hating him, and-

Allen: You died?

Kikyou: Yes, at the hand of Naraku, although both Inu-Yasha and I were tricked by Naraku so that I thought Inu-Yasha had wounded me. But it does not really matter. I was resurrected by some presumptuous oni who wanted to control my power. Feh-as if I would let anyone control me.

Allen: But, if you know that Naraku killed you, why don't you hate him?

Kikyou: Make no mistake, I will kill him. But you must also understand, I share a soul with that girl Kagome, the only part of my soul that is left in this sham body is what was left of my hatred for Inu-Yasha.

Allen: …

Allen VO: Share a soul? Nani What is she talking about?

Kikyou: But at the same time, we were once in love. And it seems that he still has some lingering feelings for me. *smiles*

Allen: Ah…but do you love him?

Kikyou: What about you? Don't you have a love?

Allen: *sighs, propping his chin on his palm* That's a complicated matter.

Kikyou: Oh? Who is your love?

Allen: No one at the moment…

Kikyou: Then who was your love?

Allen: Marlene, princess of Asturia. I was 19, just barely a Knight of Caeli. I suppose it was that position which allowed me to meet her, to get to know her. But of course, she was engaged to the Duke of Freid, and they married, and not long later, she died.

Kikyou: She died?

Allen: Yes, of a disease.

Kikyou: I am sorry. Is she the only one you have ever loved?

Allen: I have had a couple of other relationships, most out of infatuation, however. I have never really had a serious relationship since Marlene.

Kikyou: I see.

Allen: And who do you love?

Kikyou: Well, I really must be going. Even I need some sleep. *rises* Good night, Allen Schezar, is it?

Allen: Yes, good night then, Kikyou.
