(Meanwhile…Celena and Kohaku are walking down another big, dark, spooky, haunted mansion-esque hallway.)

Celena: Where do you think we should look now?

Kohaku: Maybe we should check all the storerooms down these hallways-there sure are a lot of them.

Celena: Okay…I really hope everyone's all right….

Kohaku: I'm sure they're fine, Celena-chan.

Kohaku VO: I hope….

(Suddenly, they hear a loud BANG from behind them and turn instinctively to see what it is. Kohaku feels something tear into his left arm and the impact throws him down onto the floor. He looks up, cringing in pain as Celena jumps down to him, and sees Heero holding a black handgun in the shadows.)

Celena: Kohaku! Are you all right?! What happened?

Kohaku: *trembling at first, but seeming to suddenly relax, he looks up, his eyes blank, and reaches for Celena*

Celena: Kohaku…?

Kohaku: Celena…run… *he whispers as he pulls out his sickle on a chain (like a pickle on a stick!)*

Celena: Wha-what's going on, Kohaku?

Kohaku: *standing over Celena, the sickle raised over his head* RUN!!!!!

Earlier…

Naraku: Heero, shoot Kohaku with this bullet, but do not kill him. Inside of this shell is a shard of the Shikon no Tama, and with this I will be able to manipulate him freely and finally rid this world of him and his measly lover.

Heero: *taking the bullet and putting it into his gun* Hou, Naraku-sama.

Celena: *looking up at Kohaku* What's going on? What are you doing?

Kohaku: *a tear trickling down his cheek* My body…he's controlling my body again….

Celena: ! *she jumps back just in time as Kohaku's sickle comes down*

Kohaku: I can't control my body! Run, Celena-chan!!!

Celena: *scrambling up and running* What's happened? How is Naraku able to control you?

Kohaku: Heero…he attacked me with it…it must have had a Shikon no kakera in it.

Celena: Then if we can get it out of you…

Kohaku: No! You can't get near me! *he lunges forward, sweating in his attempts to regain control of his movements*

Celena: *she continues to dodge and eventually runs out of the room, followed closely by Kohaku*

(Meanwhile, Kagome is walking down the hall mumbling to herself about Inu-Yasha, still angry. She stops and sighs, suddenly wondering where he could possibly be.)

Kagome VO: Maybe he's with her…

Kagome: Aaaaaaaaaaaaah! Why does that jerk always make me feel like this!!!

(As she talks to herself, Heero comes up from behind her and grabs her, clapping a hand over her mouth and carrying her back to the room with the screen as she thrashes in his arms. Simultaneously, Inu-Yasha is walking down the hall, confused and angry about the scene with Kagome, when he sees the cloaked form of Naraku.)

Inu-Yasha: Naraku! *draws Tetsusaiga* You won't get away! *he jumps forward and follows as Naraku runs down the hall and into one of the storerooms. The room is dark, and he is standing in the middle of the darkness blindly. Behind, the door is closed and he turns to face the door* Naraku, you coward…even if we are in the dark, I can sense your youki…

Naraku: Kukuku…Inu-Yasha, you are a fool. You walk into a trap and can't even realize what you've gotten yourself into.

Inu-Yasha: Hmm? Stop babbling, kisama, and show yourself!

Naraku: If you insist… *the lights in the room suddenly turn on, blinding Inu-Yasha for a moment. In that time, Naraku is able to jump forward and ram Inu-Yasha back onto a long table and strap him down. Quickly, he attaches wires to Inu-Yasha's skin from a strange machine as Inu-Yasha desperately tries to break the restraints. Naraku steps back and smiles evilly* Kukuku…now, let's see how you turn out. Alter fate!

Inu-Yasha: Naraku, kisama…what are you…wha? *his vision begins to blur as the machine takes effect and he feels a jolt through his body…*

(Now, back to Kohaku and Celena…whoa, no comic relief interlude thingee! Impressive! Anyhoo, they're in some sort of balcony-alcove-thing-a-majigger that is open to the outside.)

Kohaku: Get away! Don't let me push you to the edge!

Celena: Where did he attack you?!

Kohaku: Just GO!!!

Celena: *running to the side* Where?!

Kohaku: *tears flowing down* Please, I don't want to hurt you! Run away!

Celena: Just tell me! Let me help you! *as he makes another swing, she dodges to the right and sees a patch of blood on his left arm* There! *Quickly, she jumps onto his back, knocking him forward, and reaches into the patch of blood on his arm down past the skin until she could feel a shell and pulls it out, then passes out due to the exertion*

Kohaku VO: Ah! The pain in my arm is back again…wait, I can move again! What is this weight on my back…? *he slips out from under Celena gently and cradles her head in his lap* She did it…she saved me again….

Celena: *waking up* Kohaku…

Kohaku: Celena, you saved me, you brought me back again. Thank you.

Celena: *sits up and hugs Kohaku, and as she draws away she notices the blood that is covering her from his wound* Ah! I need to bandage you first! *she rips off a strip of her skirt and bandages his arm-it just wouldn't be complete without something like this*

(While this is going on, Kagome has been deposited in the room with the screen, shackles around her wrists and ankles.)

Kagome: Hey, you! What do you think you're doing?! Where am I?! Let me go!!!!!!!!!

Dornkirk: So you're the wench who has been causing my dearest Monkey-kins so much trouble.

Kagome: You won't-did you just say "dearest Monkey-kins"?

Dornkirk: Indeed.

Kagome: Are you serious? Wait…are you talking about NARAKU?!

Dornkirk: *blushing* Yes, my dearest, beautiful, evil, twisted, sexy…

Kagome: WHOA!!!!!!!! TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!!!! STOP RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!!

Dornkirk: *flustered* I have no use for you. Heero! Drop her off the floating fortress!

Kagome: Say WHAT?!?!

Heero: Hou. *picks up Kagome and walks away with her*

Kagome: Hey, what do you mean DROP ME OFF THE FLOATING FORTRESS!!!!! I CAN DIE, YA KNOW!!!

Dornkirk: That's the point, you fool!

Kagome: Come on, be reasonable…CAN'T WE TALK ABOUT THIS?!?!

Dornkirk: Hurry up and drop her, already!

Kagome: Inu-Yasha!!! INU-YASHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Scene change-back in the alcove with Kohaku and Celena…)

Kohaku: It seems they're trying to pick us off one by one and kill us…but then, what about Heero? He was the one who shot me…and he seemed unharmed.

Celena: Maybe they've brainwashed him. Or perhaps they're controlling him the way they once controlled you.

Kohaku: *shaking his head* No, his eyes…you could tell by his eyes. He was not being manipulated. He was there by choice….

Celena: They must have offered him something…but what could a guy like that want?

Kohaku: Hmm? *he looks up at the sound of Kagome's screams and watches as Heero tosses her off the floating fortress. Kohaku readies his chain and throws the opposite end out as Kagome passes* Catch!!! *he yells as he grips the end with the sickle. She grabs onto the end, barely able to hold on because of her shackles, and Kohaku quickly pulls her up onto the alcove.*

Celena: Kagome! What happened?

Kagome: They tried to kill me!!!!!!

Kohaku: Was it Heero? Did he drop you off the edge of the fortress?

Kagome: Yeah-but this freaky old man told him to, and the guy was in love with Naraku and called him "Monkey-kins" and "sexy"…it was disturbing.

Kohaku: *using the sickle to cut through her shackles*

Kagome: But wait…your arm's bleeding…and what are you doing out here?

Celena: It's a long story…
