kagome shuddered awake from her sleep looking around the campfire to find a few missing faces and the rest sleeping. the fire roared into the sky making a signal light for any of those who might have been lost. she nearly had forgotten her promise to the demon lord of the west. rising quietly she moved out of her sleeping bag. zipped up her boots and walked to the forest making sure not to make a sound.

Pain seemed to follow every time he opens his heart up to show his feelings. He let this mistake happen many times before. He would be damned if it happen another time. his mother died killing herself over this silly emotion. His father was killed for the very same emotion. His first love was killed wanting to be better for him because of this silly emotion. Yet here he was starting to feel the beginning effects of the first stage of it. The rain was a symbol of his pain as was the moon the he so proudly looked upon at night and was marred on her ghostly pale features.
As he looked to the sky tonight as he sat upon a tree, he wondered if the miko would show. it was already past midnight and he knew humans had to sleep. Yet something irked him to say she was not human, but neither was she demon. What in the hell was she? He wished he knew the answer. He was sapost to know this answer after all he was a full-blooded demon at that a inu. He had the nose of a well-trained dog, he could smell for miles. Yet whenever the aroma of her fragrance would get near him, he would always smell sorrow with it yet the spicy sent of cinnamon and the sweet vanilla. Sometimes he smelt only jasmine. He guessed the scent she gave off was directly related to her attitude at the moment. So many lovely scents she could give off. She was truly an intoxicating creature. At that very moment is when he caught her scent. Tonight it smelled of baking apples and a hint of sorrow. Not as much as it was the first meeting, but it was there. He closed his eyes an waited for her to come.

As she walked in the forest in the direction of the pull, she couldn't help but think about the person she was meeting. She couldn't help but notice she knew everything about her and she knew nothing about his person. She could only guess he acted the ay he did because of a horrible childhood. Well that wasn't much to go on. look at her. She had a very peaceful childhood. It wasn't until her teen years did her life turn to hell. She wondered what had made him so cold. so isolated as to not show his emotion. She imagined a Sesshoumaru that would smile that would laugh...well he laughed, she heard him once before, but that laugh was one that was cold an filled of sarcasm. She wanted to hear a laugh with him being himself. being...she didn't know. she scratched that ideal of him smiling and laughing. He wouldn't be caught dead doing suck a thing. Kagome saw that the thick trees were leading to the entrance of a clearing. the place were the pull was. looking around to make sure no one was following her, she entered the clearing.

Sesshoumaru lifted his head as he heard the miko enter. He turned his full attention to the miko in question. His mind wheeled with a thousand questions. one to be as of
'why did you come '? He wanted to know why. was it because he had told her to or was it that she wanted to come? so many damn question and no answer.
"ah miko I see you've made it an not a minute late" Sesshoumaru said sarcastically
"sorry I had...some things to do” Kagome said meekly looking at her feet; sesshouamru raised an eyebrow at that move, within a flash he was standing in front of her. He took her chin in his hand and moved it up so she was looking at him.
"look at me when you speak kagome, never look towards the ground, it shows weakness, something I know you don't poses” Sesshoumaru said hotly
"sorry if it’s wrong to get embarrassed” Kagome said with venom in her throat. Sesshoumaru chuckled
"well miko if its one thing you have its fire, you a spitfire ready to explode" Sesshoumaru said
"shut up, you an ice block "Kagome retorted
” there we are even, why did you come?" Sesshouamru suddenly asked
"ah...you told me to come out ever night to speak with you, remember" Kagome said
"yes I remember, but I need to know did you came on your own free will" Sesshoumaru asked, Kagome thought a moment before she replied
"of course I came on my free will, I was going to ask to see you again at that little meeting of ours" Kagome said
"hmmm” was all Sesshoumaru said as he walked back over to the tree he sat in, Kagome following him they both sat there quiet for a moment
" Sesshouamru...how do you want to die " Kagome asked blushing
" well that was random " Sesshoumaru muttered
" well...no it wasn't I was thinking about it" Kagome said
" I was speaking for myself" Sesshoumaru said
" oh" Kagome said blushing again a darker shade this time around
