Kagome stretched her arms as she woke up. She gazed out of the window when she felt a pair of eyes on her. She turned around to see Gaara staring at her. “Um…good morning” she said as she grabbed some cloths and went into the bathroom to change.

A very loud scream effectively woke every one in the apartment up. Gaara and Naruto ran to the bathroom to see what was wrong only to see Kagome with her bra on and a shirt in her hands with her shorts on pointing to a spider that was on the floor.

“You screamed because of a small spider?” Naruto questioned as he rubbed his eyes. “Small! It's only small because you're bigger then me! To me it's huge! HUGE! Kill it, kill it, kill it” she screamed as she moved away from it.

Gaara just sighed and sent a tendril of sand out to crush the spider. Gaara looked at Kagome and noticed that she was in fact shorter then him and was only wearing a bra.

“Hm, you are shorter then us” Naruto mumbled “Did you just figure that out?” kagome asked as she looked at them. “Um… Kagome,” Naruto started “Yes” “Bra” was all he said as he went back to lay down on his bed.

Kagome looked at her self and gave a squeak and pushed Gaara out and shut the door faster then humanly possible.

She quickly put on a shirt with a starry background and written in black was `last night, as I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and thought to myself, "Where the hell is my ceiling?"' and walked out of the bathroom with a blush on her face only to see an asleep Naruto and Gaara staring off into space (man he does that a lot!).

She grabbed her mp3 player and pressed play as she set about making breakfast out of, what else, ramen. She had the head phones around her neck so she could hear the music and anything else too. She hummed along with the song as SR-71's blood and bourbon started to play.

All the bricks caved in
smashed the mouths of the weak

As she cooked she couldn't help but feel eyes on her as she worked. As she set out the bowls and went to wake Naruto she still felt his eyes on her. “Ok, either I am the most beautiful creature you have ever seen, which I highly doubt, or you have a staring problem. Please stop it is a little annoying” Kagome said sarcastically as she sat down.

“Why would you doubt that?” He questioned still staring at her. Kagome looked at him and thought for a little wail before she smiled and looked him in the eyes. “Being compared to a dead, heartless bitch that tried to steal your soul one to many times tends to wear on your self-esteem a little” She said with a smile on your face.

“But you killed her” Naruto said as he sat down. “So, doesn't matter all that means is I am able to kill an animated clay pot. All that gives me is a means to get Inuyasha so mad he screws up” she sighed as she finished her noodles. Naruto smiled and snorted a little at the clay pot line. “What?” Kagome questioned.

“Nothing just thinking of an ultimate defense” he giggled as he looked at Gaara. Kagome looked between the two of them and sighed

“I don't know and I am not quite sure if I want to know” She said as she got up to put away her bowl. Gaara looked at Naruto and if he had an eyebrow he would have lifted it.

(Sorry but after I saw that episode, like a month or more before it aired in English, one of my friends was talking about Kikyo being a clay pot and I couldn't help but laugh and think of the Gaara and Lee fight! Fun!! Um back to the story!)

The three left the apartment and ran to the field, Kagome keeping up with them easily. As the arrived and waited for hours, Kagome started to think over a few things.

`Why did I kiss him?' was the main one. Finally Kakashi arrived with an excuse “I had to help an elderly lady with her grocers and then she asked for me to patch her roof” he said happily. “Liar!” Kagome, Naruto, and Sakura screamed. “Any way, today I am supposed to train Kagome so we are going to do some of the tree climbing again. What are you waiting for, go” he said as he pulled out his book.

`Well, whatever' kagome thought as she ran at the tree and walked up it. “Ok, I walked up the tree! Now what?” Kagome yelled down from the top. “Hmm, well I'm not quite sure. You're the first one to get a hang of the exercise so quickly” He said as he scratched his cheek.

 

“We could have a race” Kagome piped in. “Yea! A race” Naruto said as he jumped up and down excitedly. “A Race is boring” Sasuke said. “Ok, then not a normal race. How about we use any abilities that you want,” Kagome explained. They all agreed (except Gaara) and choose a tree.

 

“On your mark, Get Set, GO!” and they were off. Kagome started to run full tilt while chanting something under her breath. Naruto cloned himself and tried to jump her, but was blocked by a red blast of energy. Kagome keep running as she dodged some of Sakura's attacks and sent a wave of energy at her locking her to a tree.

 

She turned to Naruto and threw a few daggers at him only for them to be sent back at her. Kagome smirked as she thought `well, now this should be fun' Kagome pulled out her sword and sliced a tree so that it fell around Naruto, effectively cutting him off. Given some time she turned around and put her hands together and mumbled something.

 

The tree branches around Naruto started to wrap around him, they were as hard as steel and he could not get out. “Cheater” He yelled as he saw kagome jump over him, she just turned around and stuck her tongue out at him. Kagome looked to her left and saw Sasuke catching up. She tried to remember the attack Sango had taught her...

 

Flash back

 

“Ok kagome if you want to trap someone or something and not kill it the pull the sword back like this and shoot your energy in it and push it out” Sango demonstrated on a tree.

 

The swords blade broke of into shards and shot into the tree. In between the shards bands that were almost invisible wrapped around the tree.

“The strings are as strong as you make them” Sango explained.

 

End Flash back

 

Kagome took a gulp and brought her sword back and slashed it forward. She prayed it worked `please work this once, maybe I shouldn't have used it if I haven't mastered it' she thought with a sweat drop on the back of her head.

 

Kagome turned around in time to see Sasuke tied to a tree with shards of her sword and red lines. After she made it to the finish line and every one was released from the traps Naruto ran to her and hyperly asked “How did you do that?” Kagome smiled and started to jump and hug him.

 

“I finally mastered that damn shard attack! It took for ever” She yelled as she ran around and hugged every one…even Gaara, which after she did she let go immediately and blushed like a cherry.

 

“Umm… I think I'll go back to the apartment” she said as she ran away. Gaara had a faint blush on his cheeks, which no one noticed except for a smiling Kitsune vassal.

Yo peeps…sorry it took forever but I do have school and it is an annoyance! But oh well…It is longer and I got the new (to me at least) SR-71 Cd and I am so happy! Ok review!
