Konnichiwa minna! Yuna here! Thank you so much for all of those wonderful reviews! I'm sorry about those errors; I'll fix them as soon as I can. By the way, I think I wasn't too clear in the last chapter. This is mainly an Inuyasha/ Naruto crossover but I put in some references to Gakuen Alice, so it really isn't in the story. Sorry! If you want me to write an Inuyasha/Gakuen Alice crossover, I'd be happy to. Without further ado, here's chapter two!

 

Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha, Naruto, or Gakuen Alice, I probably never will, so don't sue me!

 

The group had walked outside of Konoha's gates by now and was pretty deep into the forest. Kagome saw a puddle of water and narrowed her eyes. A few seconds later shurikens cut through Kakashi, marking the beginning of a battle.

 

Sakura screamed when she saw her teacher cut to pieces before her eyes. Kyaa! What are we going to do? They'll kill us for sure. We just genins, without our teacher…wait, we have the amazing Sasuke-kun with us! There's no way that we can lose. I'll stand guard in front of Tazuna to prove to Sasuke that I'm better than that girl Kagome is.

While this was going through Sakura's head, Naruto was frozen in fear. Sasuke and Kagome were the only ones who had recovered enough to actually do something. Suddenly, two shinobi appeared in a whirlwind.

“We are the Demon Brothers and we're here to eliminate the bridge builder.” After saying that, the two brothers attacked. Both of them used a spiked chain attached to their hands. They aimed at Tazuna, who was currently hiding behind Sakura. Before the knives attached at the end hit though, they burst into flames so hot, they melted the metal completely. Everyone stood in shock before looking around to see who had used that “jutsu”. Imagine their surprise when they saw that Kagome had her right hand raised with a glowing fireball dancing on the tips of her fingers.

“Well, since Kakashi-sensei is being lazy and not helping, I guess I'll have to fight you too. By the way, you might want to get rid of the chains, melted lead really isn't too healthy for you.” Kagome smirked. “Of course, you won't have to worry about being healthy since you'll be dead very soon.”

The rest of the group was shocked, which is a serious understatement. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura's eyes were bulging out and there mouths were so wide, they could probably catch birds in them.

Kakashi's eyes were also bulging out and he nearly fell out of the tree he was hiding in when Kagome said that he was being lazy. How did she know that I wasn't cut into chunks? Could this be one of her special abilities? When I asked her if she could shut them up with her Alice, I was joking!

Sasuke was just as shocked as the rest of them. She's so powerful! She created a hot enough metal to melt lead and she can hold fire in her hand like it was a bracelet she took off. But how is she able to do that? I'm sure I didn't see her do any hand signs.

“Now then, I think it's time for you two to say good-bye. Any last words?” Kagome's voice cut through everyone's musings.

The Demon Brothers, who had been frozen in surprise, snarled at her impertinent words and attacked as one. They didn't get more than five steps before Kagome incinerated them with a huge fireball.

“Now then, shall we get going. But before we do that, Tazuna-san, will you tell us the truth about why enemy shinobi are after you?” asked Kagome, cheerfully. Tazuna opened his mouth before closing it and sighing.

“I suppose I owe you the truth. I really am a bridge builder and I want to build a bridge spanning from the Land of Waves to the main land. For years, the Land of Waves has been under the tyranny of a businessman named Gato. He took control of the Land of Waves' shipping routes and created a monopoly by isolating the country from the outside world, preventing free import and export and turning it into an impoverished, hunger-stricken country in the process. He is a cruel, greedy man. If I can build this bridge, then we can be liberated from him.”

“That's all well and good, but you shouldn't have lied about this mission. This would actually be an A rank mission, and we would have charged you accordingly. Now, I propose we go back to the village.” Said Kakashi, who had come down from the tree during Tazuna's speech.

He was immediately bombarded by Sakura and Naruto, who yelled, “And where were you during all of this?! You should have been helping! You're the teacher!”

Kakashi held up both his hands in a placating manner and said, “ Sorry, sorry. I didn't mean to worry you. Ask Kagome what happened.” All of the members of the group turned their faces to Kagome, with an “explain now” look.

Kagome sweatdropped and said, “Well, I noticed that there was a puddle of water on the ground even though it hadn't rained for weeks. Then I saw that Kakashi-sensei had used a replacement jutsu because I can sense auras. I sensed him hiding in one of the trees nearby, so I wasn't too worried when he was supposedly killed.”

Just as Kagome finished her explanation, a thick fog rose from the ground. The four shinobi and Kagome crouched into a fighting position.

“Sakura! Kagome! Protect Tazuna!” commanded Kakashi. A huge sword came flying at Kakashi, who dodged it. The sword became imbedded in one of the surrounding trees, where it was retrieved by a man with bandages around his jaw and a Kirigakure hitae-ite tied sideways on his forehead. He also had no eyebrows, which caused Kagome to have to smother a giggle, earning a glare from the strange ninja.

“ I am Zabuza Momochi and I will be your demise. I am here to kill the bridge builder Tazuna, but I'm eager to fight with the famous Copy-Nin Kakashi.” Zabuza attacked and the battle began.

Zabuza was defeated after a grueling battle, but Kakashi sustained many injuries, forcing Team Seven to stay at Tazuna's house until he was well enough to travel. The team was introduced to Tsunami, Tazuna's daughter, and Inari, Tsunami's temperamental son.
