The lights flickered in the downtown streets of Konoha where an exchange was taking place.

“I want you to kidnap the summoner and I will give you the money” someone said over the headphones.

“What makes you so sure that we won't turn around and cash in the summoner to someone else?” questioned the person in the alley.

“Not like we would, considering that he is offering a lot money for this mission” another guy in the alley said.

“Just make sure you don't hurt her… or I will send reinforcements,” said the voice on the phone.

`Well why didn't he just send his “reinforcements”? Instead of calling us oh well at least it's more money for “TRAIBAL” that way' thought the guy with the earphones on.

“What are you her DAD?” the other guy in the alley asked emphesing dad.

“Whatever, just tell us if there is anything we have to look out for,” the guy speaking though the headphone asked.

“Be careful she's a ninja and she is best friends with two of the best ninjas in the village, but she doesn't realize she's the summoner,” the voice on the phone said.

“A ninja summoner… very worthy… you know I'm thinking maybe I should sell her for more money than you are offering now”

“Don't think about it …just do the job and the better you do it the more money you get”

“Now were are talking”

The one guy turned off his computer and set down the headphones.

“Inform the boss that we have another job…”

A girl with pastel pink hair roamed the enormous city.

She had been heartbroken again, not like she wasn't used to it.

It's just the more she tried and loved him the more he just rejected it.

He had rejected her so much that she actually felt like she was ugly.

She had an abnormal forehead but still managed to become one of prettiest ladies in Konoha.

She was hopping he would say yes to her to come to the festival with her.

Maybe she should just give up on him and go to someone else.

But then again who would go to the festival with her if Sasuke wasn't going with her?

Defiantly not Lee or Naruto.

Sure Naruto was a good a friend but he was just a friend and not the dates type as much as he pushed to get her attention.

And Lee, let's just not go there.

She sighed as people said “hi” or “hello”.

Maybe she should just go by herself.

“What the hell?!” she asked as someone was running towards her.

“Janine, time to get up for school” my mom hollered down the stairs.

I moaned “5 more minutes mom”.

“No honey you have up for school” my mom said calmly.

“But mom I'm so sleepy” I said. This usually worked but I guess my mom was already pissed off beyond reason because what she said was…

“JANINE GET YOUR ASS DOWN THIS MINUTE BEFORE I GET MY HAND ON YOUR BEHIND AND PUT LAXATIVES IN YOUR FOOD!” my mother yelled.

“HOLY SHIT!!!!!” I screamed as I though the covers off and hurriedly ran down the stairs.

To bad for me that one of my brother's toy was on the first step.

“OWWW! (Bump) OWWW! (Bump) OWWW! (Bump) OWWW! (Bump)”

“Come play with me, come play with me ahahahahah” the toy laughed/said.

You son of a bitch.

“Janine, you could have broken the toy!” my mom said as she went over to it and picked it up.

“Ah, hello I fell down 24 steps and I could have broken my neck and died” I said as I gingerly tried pulling myself up.

“But honey I paid 50.00 bucks for it and all that money could have gone to waste” my mom said in defense.

The effort I had to try to get up was gone I fell down with a thud.

I should make mental notes.

Never piss of my mom.

Yes and call it daughter's instinct or what but even a dumb ass could figure out that my mom had just picked a clever way of getting me back. I would even take the laxatives right now.

People looked around in panic and the sound.

People screamed their heads off thinking that it was Orchimaru (I have no idea how you spell his name?) or some other different ninja attacking the village.

They stopped screaming when they saw a boy with blond hair running away from this old fat guy.

Sakura, who had her fingers ready to do a jutsu, put them down slowly.

“You rotten dirty trickster you put paint on my head!” the fat guy said looking out of breath while chasing the BHK kid.

“HAHAHA! Serves you right FAT MAN!” the BHK said.

As he got closer to her she did notice that the WFG (weird fat guy) had paint on his head, that would piss her off too.

BHK ran past her but backed up to face her.

“Hello, have I meet you before sexy?” BHK asked her.

Sakura blushed furiously at that question but redeemed herself and put her hands on her hips.

“E-Excuse m-me?! She asked.

At that time the WFG yelled, “HAHAHA got you now sucker!” the fat guy yelled as jumped on him.

“Talking to the ladies again are you?” he said as BHK struggled to get out grasp.

“Yeah at least I can do that without them running away in fear!” BHK said.

“That's it! You aren't even going to be in the play! See how you like it now brat!” he said.

“Ha like I want to be in it!” the kid said.

Sakura sweatdropped at their fighting and just stood there dumbfounded.

“Excuse me but what in TARNATION IS GOING ON” some old lady asked.

They looked at her in a childish way before they got up quickly and ran away.

Gosh what a weird day!

I left my room with my backpack and slung it over my shoulder.

“Oh look it's trip and fall” my brother said mockingly.

“Shut up, brat!” I said as I opened the front door.

“Oh Janine, have a-“ I shut the door before she could finish the sentence.

What do they know! Acting like they don't care about me! They at like something had been stuck up their ass!

And if my dad wasn't dead then- well I don't want to talk about it.

I walked in silence all the way home until I got to the Middle School where I pushed open the doors. People started to talk among themselves. Lets just say I'm not that popular. I put my hands in my pocket and put my head down as I walked.

The girls started talking. I heard then say things like “Bitch” and “Loser” or worse “Geek”. It really hurt you know, that people were talking about me behind her back.

“Well what do you know it's dorkey?” said a football jock.

“Hey dorkey your father's dead your mother's a drunk you live in a shed and you crap out back go back to the swamp you dirty punk!” all the kids repeated.

Some kid pushed me down.

“No you're to bad to go to the swamp!”

I had to go through this every day. They sang that same song to me every day but in different verses.

“Hey cut it out!” someone yelled.

They backed up to let a girl though my age.

It just so happened that it was my best friend, Kairi!

She helped me up and dusted me off.

“Are you okay?” she asked kindly.

“Yeah” I said ashamed I couldn't face them myself.

Kairi took karate and boxing lessons so no one messed with her. For some reason they still messed with me. Kairi had been my friend for 5 years now and we knew everything about each other. We even made a promise to each other.

FLASHBACK

I sat at the dock with my feet hanging off the sides.

“Janine?”

“Yeah”

“If something ever happened to me would you find me?”

I didn't know what she meant by that.

“What do you mean by that?”

She looked down.

“If I was to disappear would you look for me?”

I smiled.

“Sure I would! Are you nuts?!”

She looked up and smiled.

“That's good to know”

END OF FLASHBACK

It was like she knew that something was going to happen to her. Something she didn't tell me.

Sakura opened the door to her sensei's office. She walked to her desk and sat down in a chair.

“Are you ready-

What's the matter Sakura? She asked seriously.

“Don't tell me that he rejected you again!”

“Fine then I won't tell you”

“Sakura” she said in a motherly accent and came over and put a hand on her shoulder.

She smiled a fake smile at her teacher.

“It's okay I'm over it”

The truth was that that boy made her feel like she was pretty. Not like a freak guy but she felt like she knew him just be him saying something to her. She wanted those words to come out of Sasuke's mouth. Now she felt like she missed the BHK.

And she doesn't even know him!

“You know, Tsunade-sama, I think I'm ready to prepare for the festival”

“Good because you have to be there because I am the Hokage and you are my student so you must come”

`I might never know, but maybe he would be there'

We walked into the classroom and sat down. Dame was he late again? Not like I should be surprised he's always late. Either it was 15 minutes to an hour we have to wait for him to get in the classroom.

ONE HOUR LATER

“Errrrrrrrr” came the sound of rusty brakes of a car. I turned my head to the window and watched him walk out of the car and into the building. About 15 minutes later he came into the classroom.

“YOUR LATE AGAIN MR. COOK!” everyone screamed.

“Yes you see I was coming here and I found myself lost in the path of life” came his excuse. (That's my favorite one )

“Save it jackass!” someone shouted from the back.

“Now who the fuck said that” the principal said.

We all stopped staring at the pervert and turned are attention to the principal. Everyone pointed at the person at the back that called him a jackass. In turn they all pointed at me. Yes I guess I'm caught red-handed.

The principal came over to my desk and I gave her a sheepish smile.

“You apologize to him this very minute young lady!”

“Why should I he is one?”

“Do I have to call your parents?”

I was hit with a pang of sorrow when she mentioned my parents. No one had said parents since my dad died. Now it was my mom now.

“Go ahead call them but the only reason you lay off of Mr. Cook for being late is because you sleep with him”

She took my arm and went out of the door and into her office, which is across from the homeroom, and through me on the chair.

“Lady!” I said as I rubbed my head.

She stared at me for a couple of hours, it seemed like it, before saying something.

“You have dishonored me! You have dishonored Mr. Cook! And you have disrupted this school's learning education. What are you going to do next Janine?”

“Shave my cat”

She turned red with anger before turning on heel and opened the door.

“You will stay in this office all day young lady!”

But before she could close the door a teacher walked up to her holding on to a boy.

“I found this kid roaming the halls, first I thought he was new, but when I tried saying where to go he started calling me curse words and flicking me off” the teacher said.

The principal looked down at him before saying “Take him into the office I got to do something important.” The teacher nodded, as he understood. He took the boy and put him on the seat. Then he turned and slammed the door shut.

The kid sat across from me. I looked him up and down. I guess he didn't want to follow the dress code, which are uniforms, because he had on camaflouge pants with a vest on. He also had a black shirt on.

I must have looked pretty dumb wearing a uniform. The only thing I couldn't see was his face but he had blonde hair sticking up.

“What are you staring at?” he asked harshly without raising his head.

So he knew I was looking at him. “Well were are you from, I mean I heard the teacher say that you are new.” He then looked up at me and said, “I believe I asked you a question first” he said matter of fact. My blood starting to boil because he was being so rude. He smirked. “Your not cool you know!” I screamed.

He frowned and said “Well you don't act like a lady”.

“Excuse me!”

“You heard what I said”

“Oh you-“

“You still haven't answered my question girl”

“I was staring at you because you aren't dressed in an uniform!”

He shrugged his shoulders and said “no need to yell girl”.

“I have a name you know jerk!”

“Well what is it?”

“Janine”

“To let you know mine is Heine”

“Not nice to meet you”

“Pfft don't act all nice to me you don't even know who I am.”

Sakura was making sure the banners were in place and making sure the people had their costumes. When she was done she quietly went on the way to home. On her way there she saw Naruto and Hinata eating ramen.

“Oi Sakura-chan come yet ramen with us.” Naruto said.

“No thanks you guys I need to get home to get ready for the festival”

“Okay”

She stopped walking home and looked into the sky.

`It sure seems gloomy today for some reason'

Principal walked in smiling for some reason it looked like she was holding something behind her back.

“Janine I have something for you”

She took her thing to show me and it was-BOOKS!

“Your teachers were so nice that they gave me your work to do because you weren't there.” Heine started laughing his ass off.

“And you-

“Heine” he gave her.

“And you Mr. Heine you will have to help Janine with her work”

He looked like a dear caught in headlights.

“WHAT!”

“You two work together now!” she said before she closed the door.

I snuck I peak over to him and then got out my book and walked over to him.

Sakura looked at her kimonos she could wear. It was a hard choice. She finally chose the pink one to match her hair and it was easy to move in unlike the one blue one that she almost had to rip to go pee.

She took the kimono and carefully put it on.

`I wonder if that boy will be there he kinda reminds me of Naruto'

She looked out of her window. “I hope it doesn't rain at the festival,” she said aloud. She took a white mage cloak with her, that her father bought her, just in case.

Sakura walked down the stairs and out the front door. She looked up into the clouds again. This time she felt weird like something was going to happen.

She then saw Sasuke walking with another girl. It broke her heart to see that but she knew that she had been chosen over by another girl. Sasuke noticed her and looked at her for a while. Sakura finally broke the staring contest by walking far ahead of them, which made her feel great.

We heard the bell ring and looked at the door where the principal was. She went over to us and said “Time for lunch”.

We all walked into the lunchroom where I saw Kairi looking for me. When she found me she walked over and said hello to the principal and looked at Heine.

She stuck out her hand and said; “I'm Janine's best friend Kairi” he shook it and smiled at her. “Mine is Heine” I felt a wave of jealously come over me. He didn't just introduce himself when I meet him. It got worse when they continued staring at each other.

“Okay enough of that” I said as I grabbed a tray and went into the line. I grabbed my food quickly and went to the principal.

“Why don't you eat in here with your friends and come right to my office after your done”

I nodded. Just great then I have to watch my best friend go for somebody doesn't even know! Fuck everyone!

“Are you okay Janine?” Kairi asked.

I put on a fake smile and said kind of madly “I'm just fine”.

I walked over to the table and slammed my tray down and sat down. Kairi hesitantly sat across from me. Heine then came and sat down next to Kairi. “Is it okay if I sit here?” he asked.

“NO!” “Yes” we both said at the same time. He sat down and smiled at Kairi and said, “What do you do after school?”

Dame'nt.

“Ah Sakura you look nice in that” Tsunade said.

“Thank you sensei” she said and bowed.

Tsunade lead her up to the balcony where the other Kages were. She bowed to them before she sat down to get ready for the festival. She looked around at the different lights like blue, green, orange and other colors but what most interested her was that there was a giant airship.

“Tsunade what is that” Sakura asked pointing at it. “That is the Theater ship where they will hold a play” she answered. Then she remembered when that guy jumped on the kid and said he wouldn't be in the play. He was talking about this play! That's why the kid didn't have headband. But then she would probably never see him again.

It started to rain all of a sudden and then Sakura put on the cloak and ran down the steps.

It was the end of the day and Heine, Kairi, and me stepped out of the school it started to rain. “Kairi want me to walk you home?” Heine asked her. She nodded her head. He gave her his raincoat and said, “When I say to three start running, okay?” he asked. She nodded her head again. “One, Two, Th- “wait what about Janine” she asked. “It's okay go without me,” I said. She nodded her head and they ran out.

Hah I got an umbrella bitches! While you guys get soaked I'm going to be nice and dry! Shit I left it in the office! When I tried doors it didn't work. Dame! All right I going to have to run. One, Two, and, Three and I started to run.

I turned the next corner and the next until I came to this black puddle. Then it started to grow until it turned into a monster with yellow eyes. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” I screamed. It launched its arm at me but I dodged it and grabbed a piece of wood and stuck it in it and the monster disappeared.

“What's going on!”

Sakura went down the steps `til some guy in a dark black cloak stood in her way. “Excuse me can you get out of my way please?”

“I can't do that”

Sakura started to get scared. He walked closer to her until he was an inch away.

“We have a job to do and we want the money”
