A/N: This next one starts off a year later. This is the second/ fourth fic in the Inu/Blade series. Don't read it if you haven't read the others first. Inuyasha's now a full time Nightstalker. I don't like writing when no one's reviewing. I don't own Inuyasha or Blade. I might be adding another show/movie to the crossover but I want to develope the cheractors I already have before adding any more.
Kagome looked into the police station and fixed her hat before entering for her first day of her work. She walked up to the front desk and looked at the officer sitting behind it. He was a young man, he seemed to be in his twenties. He had short black hair and a face that said 'I don't like you.' He had a set of sunglasses on that blocked his yellow eyes.
"Hi, I'm Officer Kagome Higurashi. I was told that this is my department." Kagome raised her hand to her head in a salute.
"Hm." The man looked at her and nodded, pointing to a door on the left.
"Oh..." Kagome picked up her large duffel bag and carried it to the door and waited until it buzzed, then walked threw it. She walked down a long hallway until she reached the womans' locker room where she opened the door and walked in.
"Hey, you must be he new kid," a voice said from behind her. Kagome turned around to see a slightly older looking officer who looked oddly famliar. The woman held out her hand and Kagome shook it. "I'm Officer Hana Houshi. The pleasant person at the desk is Sgt. Grey. He's not exactly the most friendly person, but he's different once he gets to know you... It's a bit creepy really," the woman said looking over her shoulder.
"My name's Kagome. It's nice to meet you too." The older woman's eyes widened momentarily at the mention of Kagome's name. "Is there something wrong?" Kagome asked and the woman went back to normal and waved her hand dismissively.
"No, no. I'm fine." The woman turned to a row of lockers. "You're locker is number 66." She pointed to one of the blue metal lockers.
"Oh, how lucky am I?" Kagome said bitterly. The older woman laughed and walked away. Kagome walked over to her locker and opened it. Inside was her uniform and a small note on top of a small metal box. She picked up the note first and read it.
Hey Kagome,
I was getting ready to leave this morning when I noticed, you left this, so I dropped it off at your locker... Don't ask how I got in.

Kagome picked up the heavy box and opened it. One each side of the box (A/N: The top and the bottom) Was a Glock 36, a mag clip, and 15 explosive rounds, shining with yellow light. She picked up one of the shells and stared at the yellow light before replacing it into the padded case. She changed into her uniform and strapped on her duty belt which had been modified so that she could carry both guns. She then, opened the box again, pulling out the mag clips and filling them before loading the guns and holstering them. She looked both ways and listened for footsteps before quickly switching hats and closing her locker.
A/N: REVIEW!!! I'm going to be switching from Kagome's story to Inuyasha's and back from chapter to chapter. Sometimes they might be in the same chapter if there's some reason I need them to be and evetually their stories will become the same. REVIEW!!!
