Bred To Thieve Chaper Two
Koga rubbed his forehead miserably , trying to forget the woman in front of him . She was one of the maids at the Science Tower , and she had caught a thief stealing Pokemon last night . Strong , extraordinary Pokemon . What worried Koga was not the Pokemon , they could go to hell for all he cared . Except for Nessie , his female Swellow . Said Swellow happened to be in his office , pecking at a Pokeblock from Hoenn . Koga and Nessie had went there because Koga wanted to take his supposed to be girlfriend DPVS there . Instead , what worried him was that DPVS happened to live at that tower . " Alright Miss . " Koga addressed the maid looking hysterically at him . " Was there a regulated rollcall earlier after the thief's Pokemon beaten yours ? " " YES ! " the maid cried at him . " The only one missing was , was , wa wa wa - " she had started bawling at him and beating at him with her fists . " Calm down Miss ! " Koga shouted at the maid , watching as she recoiled from him . " Now get back to what you were saying . " Koga wished he was back in college jut right about now . Anything to get away from this woman . " She was wearing a black shirt and pants and a realistic tail was sewn onto her pants . " Realistic tail ? Koga's ears perked up , but no one noticed because of Koga's earring . No one noticed anything that might suggest of Koga's demon ancestry because Koga's earring had an illusion spell on it , hiding his demon features . " She had told me to leave peacefully or she'll make me leave . " Her body shook with the force of her silent sobbing . " I can't believe she would do such a thing . Everyone always dismissed her as crazy . Even I did . " Koga thought that this person was well known around the tower . " So Miss . " Koga started , catching the maid's attention . " Can you retell me what happened ? " The maid managed a weak smile , and said , " Sure . "
***Flashback to last night / ending of chapter one ***
The thief whipped around at a surprising speed , nearly colliding with the beaten backpack she crouched by . The maid could only see it was slightly unzipped while the thief slung the backpack over her shoulder . " Stop ! " she said , barely seeing the outline of the thief in the darkness of the lab . The female had called out , " Nero ! " and an Eevee popped out of the backpack , harder and easier to see because he was almost completely black with some bright white . " That blob has a body ? " the maid thought out loud . " Yes he does , and he has a name you worthless piece of shit . " the thief replied with anger in her voice . " Duh duh DPVS ? " stammered the maid , recgonizing the insult , and unprepared for the fact that a resident here was stealing science from science . She thought that their security system here in the tower was sophistacated . " And proud to be her . " replied her , while the Eevee changed into a Leafeon , and during that change the maid had brought out her Pokedex and checked it's level . The Pokedex had then proceeded to show her it was a level one . With the transformation complete , there stood the Leafeon in all it's emo like beauty . The supposed to be cream of the Leafeon was black , while the supposed to be green and brown parts were white as snow . The maid threw her Pokeball , calling out , " Go Blazes ! " A Ponyta popped out , and the maid thought , ' This is going to be too easy , a level one Leafeon against my level twenty five Blazes ' . The maid almost felt sorry for the Leafeon , but had to quickly dismiss that feeling . " Blazes , use Ember ! " shouted the maid , assuring herself of an easy victory . The ember had hit the Leafeon ( it wasn't even trying to dodge it ! ) and to the maid's surprise , it didn't faint . " Huh ? " the maid said , aiming her Pokedex at the Leafeon to see it's health . It only had a maximum of 18 hp , and it had only lost one hp !? " Dude grass Pokemon are weak against fire Pokemon ! That doubles the damage ! " she yelled at her Pokedex . " If your retarded dimwitted mind had checked Nero's stats , you wouldn't be as surprised as you are now . " stated DPVS coldly . The maid had decided to take her word and checked teh Leafeon's stats , and was even more surprised . The Pokedex had read that all of it's stats were infinity ! " My turn . " sarcastically toyed DPVS as the Leafeon had prepared to use Solarbeam . " Any last words ? " DPVS asked , as the Leafeon hit Blazes with tremendous force , knocking him out almost immediately . The Leafeon transformed back into an Eevee , and left with it's mistress as they sailed out of the only window in the lab , female with the backpack slung over her shoulder , and Pokemon keeping up with her dizzying pace . The maid ran to the window , looking out into the grounds of the Science building . She could only see a faint outline of the pair , and as she blinked , it disappeared .
***End Flashback ***
" So the culprit was , was ....... " started Koga , but stopped himself . Thoughts dashed throughout his head , but the one that kept assaulting the front of his mind was the words , ' DPVS turned into a thief ! How can I think of loving a thief !? ' . " Take her away Ginta . " Koga ordered , watching Ginta comfort the maid as she left . " I can still remember the DPVS from college days Koga . " Ginta said , trying to cheer up Koga , to an extent of at least trying to make him crack a sad smile . Ginta failed horribly as Koga stomped to his office , scaring people he met along the way . Nessie was perched on her post , trying to avoid her trainer's anger as he sped in . She heard him utter , " I'll get that bitch first . " before he fell asleep on the floor . Nessie picked him up and flew to his apartment complex , through the open window of his room , and deposited him on the bed before she nestled in her own bed .
*** Somewhere , 120 miles away from New York City , Dawn ***
" Nero . " said the teen as she pulled out the clothes she had worn before , in the pre-dawn light . She had changed quickly , and turned to the Eevee as he looked at her with mild interest . " We got two days for our flight to take off . We should sleep now . " The Eevee nodded as the teenager curled into as close to a ball as she could get . Nero jumped into the middle of the circle she tried to make , and slept with her surrounding him with her body and warmth .
