Turning me inside out

 

 

Chapter 1. 'Ryoga...?'

 

"GET BACK HERE YOU BASTARD!", the strange blond girl screamed as she raced after Ranma, "I'M NOT DONE WIITH YOU YET!!". Ranma ignored her, to hell is she was stopping! She'd learned one thing all too well from Akane, when people are this mad, you don't stop if you value your 'body parts'. Ranma looked back and sighed in relief, the psycho chick wasn't there anymore. Stopping she sighed, "why is everyone out to get my head?".

"Because you do shit to people!", Ranma looked up and shot down just in time to dodge a kick from the blonde from earlier. A second later she froze feeling something wrapped around her wrist, it was a bandana. Her gaze shot up just in time to see a two secod 'gotcha' smirk slip across the girls lips. Then it was all over, all the air left Ranma's lungs as the girls fist hit her square in the stomach.

"FIX THIS! FIX THIS RIGHT NOW!", she howled, glaring down at the little red-head. Ranma could tell she was beyond pissed off and yet she still couldn't help but ask, "wha'd I do?". The girl looked like she was about to cry and rumpled her short blond hair, "you did this! You made me a girl!". Ranma could see the tears now, fat salty droplets that ran down her cheeks and nose, "Ryoga...?". A fist came sharply down on Ranma's head, "OFCOURSE IT'S ME YOU STUPID TRANSVESTITE!", Ryoga pounded his fists into the pavement. "YOU MESSED UP THE RIKUTAN-KU PILLS! NOW I'M GONNA BE A GIRL FOR A WHOLE 2 WEEKS!". Ranma stared at him, "I MESSED THEM UP?! LOOK WHO TOOK THEM!", Ryoga landed his foot in Ranma's gut. His voice was sad and dejected yet clearly angry, "if you can't make me a boy again, THEN STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!", and he was gone. Ranma sat there feeling oddly empty, why was Ryoga so mad at him? At least he was a cute girl, and did he forget? It wasn't forever, it was only a moth. 'But he seemed so mad...' Ranma thought regretfully.

Ryoga stomped angrilly down the street, fighting tears with every step, it wasn't fair! Ranma always fucked up and he was the one punished for it. 'Why do you always come back then?', he asked himself quietly. He couldn't answer that qauestion. In all honesty he didn't know why he always came back, even without forgiving him, maybe it was part of his charm... "I'm sick", he groaned loudly, "I shouldn't have even fallowed him in the first place but...", Ryoga brushed his hair lightly with his hand in frustration, "but...I don't know...".

"You're in love, aren't you boy?", Ryoga jumped sharply only to see old granny Cologne peering up at him from her place on her staff. Ryoga glared at her, "ofcourse not, who would I be in love with? Akane rejected me for Ranma!", Cologne smiled coyly, "but what of Son-in-law? Do you love him?". Ryoga looked away and stared at the now setting sun, Cologne smiled wider, "you do! You love him more than the very breath of life, so why do you allways end up fighting with him?". Ryoga began to walk away, "I'm sick of chasing him and him changing me, it's just stupid...". Cologne shrugged, "he'll never love you back you know...", Ryoga continued to walk away slowly, "I know...", he said sadly.

"AIYAAAH!", Shampoo yelled when she opened the door of the Tendou Training Hall to find a miserable little red-head there. Ranma simply pushed past her and plopped down in front of the door, Ryoga had to come home eventually and boy or girl he would be sitting there when he did. Shampoo crouched down, "what wrong Ranma?", she asked in her overly cute manner. Ranma didn;t answer, what the hell was she supposed to say? 'I turned my friend into a girl and now I feel like a total shithead'? Nope! Shampoo shrugged, " first strange blond girl now Ranma. is sick head day or something?". Ranma snapped to attention, "Shampoo! The blond girl, did she say anything?", Shampoo nodded, "yes, very strange! She say 'tell Ranma goodbye', then head down street!". Ranma got up and raced to the bathroom, jumping in then getting out and bounding out the door. He just had to find Ryoga, he had to come home!

"What's the hurry Son-in-law?", Cologne hopped beside Ranma as he ran down the street, "hey Granny! Have you seen a girl with short blond hair and a bandana tied around her head?". Cologne smiled keenly, "yes, why?", Ranma smiled, "I really need to find her, it's important!". Cologne smiled wider, "the boy is important to you...", Ranma smiled, "he's my bestfriend". Cologne snickered, "no he's more to you, isn't he?", Ranma's breath hitched at the sudgestion. What 'more' could Ryoga be? Without a word Ranma began to pick up speed, he could hear Cologne cackling as he raced down the street.

When Ranma found Ryoga, she was lying askeep under a tree in the park, her body curled into a tight ball. Ranma's voice was soft as he rocked Ryoga's shoulder to wake her, "Ryoga...? Ryoga...?". Without warning Ryoga shot awake, sitting up suddenly and half screaming. Ranma jumped back and stared as she sat there panting, her wrap around shirt was pulled half open and hung off her shoulder. Her voice was sharp, "what do you want?!", Ranma smiled, "you should come home...Akane's going crazy looking for her beloved 'P-chan'...".

"All I am in your stupid house is your pet! Well guess what, I'M NOT GOING HOME!", Ranma simply smirked.

"PUT ME DOWN YOU ASS-HOLE!", Ryoga screeched as Ranma carried her like a sack of potatoes into the Tendou Training Hall. She hit the floor with a heavy 'THUD' when he dropped her in the kitchen. she glared up at him and scrambled to her knees.

"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM? I TELL YOU I'M NOT COMING HOME SO YOU PICK ME UP AND DRAG ME HERE?!", Ranma simply smirked lightly and, picking her up again, turned her to face Akane and Shampoo who were sitting eating onigiri at the small table. Ryoga froze, this wasn't happening! This coudn't be happening! Ryoga shot Ranma a death glare and crossed her arms tightly over her chest, "I HATE YOU RANMA! DO YOU HEAR ME?! I DESPISE YOUR GUTS!". Shampoo eye'd her, "Ranma why you bring strange blond girl home?", Ranma smiled, "because he's spending the night! Duh! Wait...you're a girl now right". A second later Ryoga was on top of Ranma thuroughly choking him, "WOULD YOU FUCKING STOP POINTING THAT OUT?!". It took both Akane and Shampoo to drag her off of Ranma all the while she clawed angrilly to get out of their grasp.

"Calm down, boy!", Cologne said softly as she came hopping in to the room, without remorse she jumped on Ranma, "Son-in-law!". When he didn't wake, she resorted to simply dumping a bucket of cold water on him, he was instantly awake, choking and gasping for air. His female voice was sharp and shrill, "RYOGA, YOU PSYCHO BITCH, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THAT HEAD OF YOURS?!?". Ryoga's eye's were hidden behind her bangs, "a whole hell of alot more than you will ever understand", she said softly then walked out the door.

Akane found Ryoga sitting on a platform in the very center of the pond an hour later, she was pretty sure that 'she' was crying. Her voice made Ryoga visibly jump, "is it really Ryoga Hibiki under that pretty face?", she asked, reaching up to touch her cheek and brush away a lingering tear. Pulling herself up beside Ryoga, she saw her nodd slightly, "how did this happen?", Ryoga snorted slightly. Then turned to stare at the stars, "there were two pills, one for a boy and one for a boy. Granny Cologne gave them to me and told me to give the one for the girl to Shampoo. Since the pills were identicle, I decided to put them in seperate tins and on my way to Shampoo's restaurant, Ranma ran me over as he ran from some stupid purple cat! He knocked both pills out of my hands then picked them up and put them in the wrong tins!". Akane gave her a puzzled look, "if you're always getting jipped and mad at him, then why do you come back?", Ryoga looked away, "I...don't know..."

~Meanwhile~

Ranma lay flopped out on his bed, why was everything with Ryoga a fight? And somehow it was always traced back to him, it was never Ryoga's fault, it was his.

"What's got you in a pinch m'boy?", Ranma groaned as Happosai came striding into his room, "s boy...", he mumbled. Happosai sighed, "I was hoping you wouldn't turn out that way...", Ranma punched him in the head roughly, "I'm not! I turned Ryoga into a girl, well actually he did it, but he blames me and I don't know if he'll ever get over it...". Cologne appeared beside Happosai, "Son-in-law, Ryoga comes back to you every time. He doesn't stay mad at you aout one thing really for that long. True he pretends to hold grudges, but their his reason to chase you. He needs you there for him in so many ways he's angry at his pwn need for your presence", Cologne said with a smile, "he cares about you and wants you to care as much for him in return...".

~Meanwhile back in the pond~

Akane smiled gently, "I think you keep coming back because he's your closest friend", Ryoga closed his eye's, no...it was more than that. Ranma was alot more than his friend, he did things that most people would never ever speak to him again for. Yet all he could do was beat the living daylights out of him then forget it. A loud splash interrupted his thoughts and he looked down to see Ranma clutching the pavement of the platform as she stared up at the pretty blonde. Her voice was meek, "Ryoga? Could I talk to you please?", Ryoga stood up and leapt to the shore, waiting then letting Ranma lead her into the back garden. Some part ot her expected him to be mad, be mad that she always blamed him for the shit that happened to her.

"Ryoga, I'm sorry that I overlook you, I'm sorry I take you being there for granted", Ryoga lurched, what? What had he just said? Without warning she felt Ranma's lips dip against his, his hand cupped his jaw. 'No!' Ryoga pulled back, 'this isn't what I want...I want...' turning sharply he ran. Goddamnit, why was he so much slower? He could still hear Ranma yelling after him, blasted female body! He got about four miles from the Tendou's before his body was screaming to stop, yet he didn't stop, not until he tripped into someone...

 

 

~Yay! My first crossover! tell me what you think, I've worked so hard on it and it's still not finished, I should be good for updating for a while, I'm backed up 6 chapters. But still I will be working my very hardest to get all of my work done and all 13 of my simultanious stories in and finished soon, though it seems that no matter how many stories I finish and post up, I always have new ideas in my head. I actually had to start logging them in a big book... My friends say that I do the work of 10 women instead of just one, I don't know if that's true or not but I do know that I have had to cancle fun dates with them to get my work up to date (don't you all feel so special that I work so hard just for you?)
