Chapter 1

 

Kagome walked home with her friends from school trying to think about anything but Hojo. “So Kagome, do you want to go out with Hojo?” Eri asked stopping and turning to face her. “Wha-? No, I don't like Hojo, besides I think Yuka would hate me if I wanted to date her lifelong crush.” Kagome said smiling. “No one wants to hear about that Kagome.” Yuka said blushing like crazy. As they laughed they continued their walk talking about school and no conversation with the four best friends would be complete without them asking Kagome a million questions about her `two-timing boyfriend'. “I think you should dump that two-timing no good son of a biscuit eater, Kagome.” Yuka said. “I think so too, after all didn't he go after his ex-girlfriend?” Ayume said thoughtfully. “You deserve so much better than that!” Eri exclaimed. “Look guys he was never my boyfriend. I have to go; I promised grandpa I'd help with the shrine today.” Kagome lied before running off towards the shrine.

 

Darien walked away from where he and Serena were talking with a heavy heart. He had just told her he didn't think it was going to work between them anymore and that they should see other people. “Her crying didn't help that much either.” He said as he heard her crying pounding in his head.

 

Flashback

 

“Hi Darien, so why'd you need to see me this early?” Serena asked latching onto his arm. “Serena, I think we should see other people.” Darien said unhooking her hands from his arm. “Darien what are you saying?” Serena asked. “Serena I don't think this is going to work between us any longer.” Darien said. “No Darien, you can't do this! Please reconsider I love you!” Serena yelled catching the attention of passer-bys. Darien looked into her eyes and saw the tears pouring down her face. “I can't reconsider Serena, because I don't love you anymore.” He said. Serena gasped before backing up while shaking her head and running from him. “Come on Serena, don't be like that!” Darien yelled after her. As he watched where she stood he could hear the crowd that had formed around them start muttering about him. Turning the opposite way from her he began to think about what their relationship was.

 

End Flashback

 

Sighing he walked to the park and sat on the bench. Realizing that the park was deserted he stood up suspiciously. Hearing a scream he followed the sound and saw a girl getting attacked by something that looked like something the Negaverse would send. Taking his rose out of his pocket he transformed himself into Tuxedo Mask. Taking his cane out he made it lengthen before approaching the ugly thing that looked like a half boar and half dog.

 

Kagome groaned in annoyance. Taking her Sailor Soldier Wand out of her book bag she hurriedly transformed. “Sun Star Power.” She said. A circle of fire surrounded her and crashed onto her. As the fire disappeared her black hair had changed to red and grew down to her knees. The top part was in a high ponytail with a gold ribbon holding it. Her little sailor cape was red with yellow flames in front. She had a red bows and skirt with yellow flames on the bottom of the skirt. She had elbow length gloves with yellow at the end. Her knee high boots were red with yellow lining at the top. Her tiara was white with a red jem in the middle while her choker was red with a yellow jem. Holding her white pike, which looks exactly like Sailor Saturn's, she turned towards the demon and smirked. “Sun Burst!” She cried pointing the tip of her pike at the demon sending flames and light towards it disintegrating it. `Well that was easy; I better get back to the Feudal Era before Inuyasha has a heart attack.' She thought looking at the sky.

 

Tuxedo Mask was shocked that there was another Sailor Soldier other than the one's he already knew. “Excuse me, miss.” He said walking towards her. Sailor Sun looked up from examining the demons ashes and saw Tuxedo Mask walking towards her. “Yes, what can I help you with?” She asked standing up. “You seemed to have known what that thing was.” He said. Kagome flipped her hair over her shoulder and smiled at him. “I do know what that thing was, it was a demon.” She said. Darien opened his mouth to say something but heard a chorus of `Tuxedo Mask' and turned towards the sound. “What happened Tuxedo Mask? Where's the monster?” Sailor Mars asked ignoring Kagome. “Sailor Sun already took care of it. Where's Sailor Moon?” He said pointing to the new Sailor Scout. “We don't know no body can get hold of her. You're the Sailor Scout of the Sun if I'm not mistaken correct?” Luna asked turning towards Kagome. “You got that right kitty cat.” She said. The four Sailor Scouts looked at each other with disapproving looks before turning back to Sailor Sun. “Well Tuxedo Mask, it was nice to meet you; but I've got to book it.” She said running and jumping over the park wall. “I don't like her.” Venus said plainly. “Sailor Venus!” Mercury said shocked. “I don't like her either, she's way too… something.” Jupiter said. Mars nodded her head in agreement before Mercury finally said she was displeased with her too. As the scouts surveyed the area Darien slipped away unnoticed and began following Sailor Sun.

 

Kagome ducked into an alley and de-transformed to her regular clothes and hair style. Stretching her arms she walked out of the alley and in front of Darien like nothing had happened. “Man I must be rusty, otherwise I wouldn't hurt so much when I fight like that.” She said rubbing the back of her neck. Turning to the shrine steps she began to jog up them while planning on what to tell Inuyasha. “Hey Kagome.” Sammy Tsukino said. “Hey Sammy, Souta don't you want to show Sammy that new Sailor V video game I just got?” Kagome asked. “Oh yeah! Come on Sammy, the effects are 3-D.” Souta said dragging Sammy inside. Kagome smiled and walked over to the side of the house, where her window was. As soon as she got there Souta appeared in her window and dropped her yellow bag down to her while she threw her school bag up to him. “Thanks Souta, I'll see you when I can.” Kagome said turning to the well house. Opening the doors she saw Tuxedo Mask standing at the bottom of the stairs looking into the well. “You're not supposed to be in here.” Kagome said. Tuxedo Mask turned around in time to see one of the stairs she stepped on break and send her falling into him making him fall backwards into the well. Uncurling from her position she scraped her head on the side of the well as Tuxedo Mask's hat and mask fell off. The last thing she saw before blacking out was his worried blue eyes looking into hers.
