Drunken Iron Monkey - Company

There was a long pause as the couple walked away.

Vash turned to face Miroku, but that girl he flirted with earlier caught his attention.

"Hi, I don't believe I got your name back there, little lady! My name's Vash!"

Blushing, Kagome introduced herself. "My name's Kagome."

`Why am I blushing?! I don't like this guy at all!'

`Let's see if those tips really work!' Vash swiftly danced to Kagome's side and breathed down her neck. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pressed closer to her.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing! Who the hell are you?!" exploded Inuyasha.

Vash moved aside before Inuyasha swiped his head off. Inuyasha went at him again and again, but still Vash managed to dodge everything he got. Inuyasha began getting frustrated and came at him with the tetsaiga.

"Waaaahhhhhh! What did I do?! I was only trying to be friendly!! C'mon, leave me alone!! You gotta believe me!!!"

"Save it, pal! You touch my girl, you DIE!!!"

"YOUR girl?!"

Kagome sweatdropped and grew mortified as the two fought. Miroku winked at Vash and laughed. `Good try… for a beginner…..'

"Okay, that's enough you two! Stop It!"

"Hmph… he started it."

"Nuh uh!" Vash started pouting.

"Ya huh!"

"Nuh uh!" Vash stuck his tongue at Inuyasha. And the two kept going.

By now, Kagome was ready to bite their heads off. "SHUT THE HELL UP!!!"

Vash blew his tongue at Inuyasha. Suddenly, two sharp claws came strangling Vash.

"Ack!.. What... are…. you.. doing?!" he choked.

"SIT!!" Inuyasha fell faced down.

"OOowwW! Kagome, I'm trying to protect you from this Miroku wannabe!"

"Hey!... I'm better than that guy…" muttered Miroku under his breath.

"What was that, did you say something?"

"Hehe, can't we all just get along?"

"I agree! What about you?" Vash pinched Kagome's ass.

O.O Eyes wide open, she jumped and turned around to slap him. "JERK!"

A huge red hand print appeared on his cheek. Now his eyes were full of tears.

"sniff… I just wanted to be your friend."

"Well, you're getting alittle too friendly, there!" Inuyasha finally spoke up.

`He needs more time to work on those skills.' Miroku patted Vash on the shoulder and guided him to the bar. "You up for another drink?"

"Am I ever! All this drama is too much for me!"

"This guy's emotions change faster than a radio.. geez."

Kagome caught a flash. The sun beat down on the metallic object around Vash's waist.

"Is that a gun?" she was shocked. `Why would someone so friendly need such a thing?'

"Oh, this thing! Hehe… of course not."

Kagome squinted at him. `What if he tries to attack the village people?'

< Serenade Inn >

Sesshomaru laid motionless on the bed hold his head. It felt like it was going to explode, but he kept a cool face. * As always… ^.^

Unpleasant sounds were heard from the bathroom. Legato puked his brains out and leaned on the tub when he was done. The room service knocked on the door incessantly. Their migraines throbbed worser than ever now. Legato banged his head slightly against the tub, trying to relieve the pain and stopped when he heard a angry voice.

"Would you fucking STOP!!?" Sesshomaru burst at both Legato and the room service.

"Ugh… what the hell is your problem, man?"

"AAarghhh! Don't you have any medicine or something you filthy humans use?!"

"Lemme think…. Um…….. No."

Sesshomaru gave a heavy sigh and everything dropped dead quiet. Not long after they both fell asleep from exhaustion and discomfort.

< Back in Town >

"Did you hear anything? I could've sworn I heard a demon."

"Nah, you're imagining things." Vash was too into his headset to pay any attention.

"Hey Inuyasha, I wanna go to the mall!"

"The what?" `… Another future term'

Kagome snatched his wrist and headed for the entrance. She took a moment to look around, then ran towards Macy. Inuyasha watched as she sorted through the racks and picked out a flashy EckoRed suit. She headed to the dressing room and told Inuyasha "Wait here, I'll be right back!"

Like a good dog, he stay. But it seemed like she was taking forever so he went in and sniffed her out. He knocked on the door. There was no answer, so he hopped over the door instead only to be attacked and beat with a hanger.

"Get out of here you hentai! Out! Out! Out!" Kagome raged.

The flung open and Inuyasha plopped on the ground with a blush. The door slammed shut for a second and flung back open again hitting Inuyasha.

"Oof!" he laid against the wall with swirls in his eyes.

"Okay, I'm done!... Inuyasha?....... Inuyashaaaaa! Where are you?"

Rubbing his head, Inuyasha got up and gave Kagome a reprimand.

"Hey watch out! I was back there ya know! And why did you attack me?!"

"Oh… I'm sorry, I didn't see you. Anyway, how do you like my outfit?"

"Grrr… You nearly mush me and now you're acting like it never happened!"

"Yeah so…. How is it? Too loose? Oh wait, should I lose the hood?"

"What are you prattling on about, woman? Are you ignoring me?"

"Hmmmm… Yeah I'll lose the hood. Now time to pick you out a new outfit!"

"What's wrong with this one?"

"Well, how should I put this… Okay, it's out of season, Inuyasha. I mean I don't want to let my friends see how awkward you dress. And remember? This is the future, helloooo! Is any of this sinking into your little doggie brain?"

Inuyasha gave her a dirty look, but kept quiet.

Soon, they were back at the racks again. This time, it took Kagome alittle longer than last time to pick something out. This time, she picked out a black two piece G-Unit suit. She shoved him into the dressing room and waited for him to finish dressing.

"Well, are you done yet?"

"……….."

"Do I have to teach you how to dress? It's not that hard."

The door slowly creaked open. And Inuyasha just looked so adorable and seemed more mature, but his face was telling a different story.

"What's this fuzzy thing all over it?"

"Oh.. I dunno, it's just the fabric that's all. You look great!"

"Huh?"

"Yeah, it really brings attention to those eyes! Now you won't be tacky even after you change to your human form!"

"Let's get you some shoes too. Going around barefoot isn't very civilized."

< Coral Park >

Miroku nudged Vash's side with his elbow, signaling him to go after the cutie. He took a deep breath and walked towards her and looked into her eyes.

`I don't think Miroku knows what he's doing… He's trying to ruin my love life'

Vash swung his arm around her torso, binding them closer when she wasn't looking.

"Why hello there, miss. You look rather scorched under this heat. Let me be by your side and hold you for eternity. I'll shade your body from that horrible sun and…"

It wasn't hot at all, in fact the weather was just fine. She held his mouth shut and slipped out of his grasp. "Ew, get away creep!" And took off.

"But… Okay! Have a good day!" he said waving, trying to play it off.

Miroku laughed and walked toward vash.

"Boy, that was a good one! You definitely got closer this time tho!"

"Shut it… I'm not taking advice from you no more."

"Huh? You're blaming me for your failures?!"

"Yeah, ya know. I really put some thought into it and I came up with the conclusion that you're jealous and now you're trying to ruin my love life! But it's okay, I can see how guys like you would envy me. We can still be friends tho!"

`Okay, I'm gonna let that slide.' "You're ill or something. I'll show you these skills really work. Then let's see who's to blame."
