Sango opened the big oak door and went inside the church building. Her eyes widened when she saw the beautiful carved angels that decorated the pillars. The windows were coloured and the rays of the sun was turned into a spectrum inside the church. "Wow.." she mouthed as she walked down the aisle.

He saw her come inside his church and he wrinkled his face in disgust. Vile creature, she had no right to be inside his wonderful and pure church. The question was.. how did she get in here in the first place? She was a creature of the night, they could not enter the Lord's holy church, but she had and she seemed to have no trouble at all to walk around in it. Father Juliano felt a wave of hate course his body. He had to get her out from his church.

Sango stopped at the altar and looked at the macabre scene. She could not help but wonder why they had such a odd thing inside this beautiful place. A man pinned to a cross. A bloody thorn crown made his skull bleed. She felt sick just looking at it. That was a cruel punishment, what crime could possible deserve a death like this? She shook her head and turned when she heard a noise coming from one of the smaller doors next to the altar.

She saw a black clothed man; he had prayer beads around his neck and in the end hung a cross, much like that on the altar. "A houshi?" The man's face showed her that he did not like her, and she could not say that she liked him very much either. Once he probably had thick black hair, now it was grey and it sure could use a wash. His eyes oozed hatred against her and she guessed he knew what she was.

- What business does the temptress of the devil have inside this holy church? He asked with a disgusted voice.

- Temptress?? My good houshi, I am merely a taijya.

Her words made him grunt, he did not understand them.

- Why are you here?

- My friend has caught a cold and I was told that you would provide herbs that could cure him, said Sango and invisible gripped her boomerang better. She did not like the hostile energy around the houshi.

- Why should I provide medicine for a creature that I want to see dead? Snarled father Juliano and held up his cross against Sango. - Be gone from us you creature of darkness!!

Sango just raised an eyebrow in a boring manner. What the hell did he think a piece of silver do to her?

- Have you flipped your lid old houshi? she asked.

He paled visible when she snorted. He looked down on his cross; it was supposed to make vampires and their alike to disappear. But it did not work against her. Perhaps she was the devil himself?

- Do you have the medicine or not? I don't have time to stand here and chit chat with you houshi.

- I will not give you anything!! he yelled with an high pitched voice.

- Do you really believe that I am evil? I have not done anything to you or this village, if I wanted to, trust me - you would have noticed it.

The heavy oak door cracked open and the blonde man that she had talked to earlier peeked inside.

- Father Juliano?? he asked.

- Yes Ivan what is it? spat the priest irritated.

- I think she is telling the truth father Juliano.

- What??!!

- She and her friend seem to be good people, said Ivan shakily when he heard the raged in the priest's voice.

- They are the devil's henchmen; they don't deserve to walk upon God's earth!

"This is not working at all. He is insane and he will never back down. I better do something, perhaps I can show him my purifying power, then he will now that I am not evil?"thought Sango.

- My good houshi, do you have anything that needs to be purified? She asked with her most angelic voice.

- Huh?

- Anything will do, she continued. - I want to prove to you that I am not evil.

- Ha, don't you think I know the ways of the devil temptress? You come here with that vulgar outfit, showing off your body like a whore. Do you really think I would fall for your curves bitch?

- Miss, I don't think it is safe for you to be here, said Ivan and moved to stand between her and the priest, something that made her smile inwardly. There was at least one who believed her to be good.

- Ivan, don't protect her! shouted father Juliano, his old eyes shimmered with insane hatred towards the young woman… no not woman, a devil.

"Bonking time…"Sango pushed Ivan out of the way and used her boomerang and made a short procedure with knocking out the priest. He fell unconscious to the floor and Sango laid her weapon to rest against the nearest bench and then she lifted up the priest and asked Ivan where his sleeping quarter was. Ivan showed Sango into a room in the back and there she saw vials and other containers that held medicine. She asked Ivan if he knew which one she could use against a cold and he gave her a black box.

- Thank you Ivan, will you see to him that he does not come after us? As soon as my friend is healthy again we will move on, said Sango.

- Yes, of course.

- You are a good man Ivan, said Sango and kissed his cheek.

Ivan blushed deeply and saw the strange woman disappear from the room. "What a woman."
