Kagome was still crying. Two days had passed since the Last Battle and she was still crying. She could not forgive herself for being the one who killed Sango. She had killed her own sister. "Ohh Sango-chan, will you ever forgive me for my foolishness?" she hid her face inside the palms of her hands. She never heard when her long time friend came inside the hut.

Inuyasha was devastated. He hated it when Kagome cried and he could not do anything to alleviate her guilt. She just cried and cried and cried. He sat down next to her and awkwardly put an arm around her shoulders. She let him pull her closer and she sobbed into his red shirt.

- Kagome, it was not your fault, he whispered.

- But it is, she died because I did not see her. I killed her with my arrow Inuyasha, cried Kagome.

- You should not blame your self Kagome. We all knew the risk when we decided to go against Naraku.

- Yeah, but I was…

- Shh, don't Kagome, don't even go there. You had already aimed and released the final blow when Sango moved into the way. There was no chance in hell that you could have foreseen her movement!! yelled Inuyasha.

- But…

- No buts Kagome. I am sure that Sango would like you to be proud of what you did. You destroyed Naraku and you destroyed him good. You disintegrated him Kagome, he will be no more. He is gone and that is all that matters. If Sango would come back to haunt us, she still would be proud of what we manage to accomplish that day.

- I-inuyasha….

- So quit crying, because you are breaking my heart with your tears, grunted the hanyou.

- …

- Please… for me?

Kagome smiled through her tears. Inuyasha saying please…then it had to be important to him.

- Alright Inuyasha, I will try for you, I promise said Kagome and kissed his cheek.

Suddenly a commotion outside made them both curios and they got up. They went outside and saw Inuyasha's older brother outside.

Sesshoumaru saw his brother and the strange girl with the even more strange clothes step outside the cabin.

- Come with me! he said with a short tone.

- Why?

- Because this is something I wish show you and the girl.

- Alright Sesshou-kun, but it better be good, said Inuyasha.

- Sesshou-kun? Kagome's voice was very much surprised.

- Don't ask Kagome, muttered Inuyasha.

They followed the youkai lord back to the field where the Final Battle had been.

Inuyasha felt Kagome tense up as they neared the edge of the field. No, tense up was wrong word, because the girl from the future began to shake uncontrollable and Inuyasha in the end picked her up bridal style and followed his brother out to the far end of the field. Two battered figures lay there, hugging each other like they never wanted to let go.

- Sango-chan… breathed Kagome…
