Okay I am getting off Topic now…what the point it…what the point is…Oh I completely forgot the point! Damn it!

Chapter Two
Water…
She needed water, yet she remained firm and held her tongue. The girl puzzled him, bringing amusement into his dulling life.
She was dying of thirst, yet she ignored it for pride, he had to admit she was strong, either that or she could no longer speak.
He would see…
A small sound of metal meeting stone caught her attention, normally she would have ignored it, but she had not moved a muscle. Trying to get her overpowering thirst from her mind she looked up, almost sure the spider had come up with a new way for her to scream.
In her subconscious she made a vow that he would not get energy of the shikon out of her unless by force, she made this vow the minute she realized what he wanted the first day she had awoken.
That was the day he began her torture.
He experimented many ways to make her expel the limitless energy of the shikon though he soon found out it was tied to her own power, her soul.

He experimented many ways to make her expel the limitless energy of the shikon though he soon found out it was tied to her own power, her soul.
True the power was limitless, but she could not use it herself for she could still barely master the bow and arrow.
Cerulean eyes fell upon a small bowl full of liquid, she could not tell its origin, her eyes were too fogged from thirst and fatigue, and she only knew it liquid.
Her eyes became wary as she stared upon the glistening cup.
The lack of light did little to help her; all she had was the moon, and it shown upon the liquid further hiding the identity.
He nearly chuckled when she gave a small, yet impressive growl. Even given her parched throat and human heritage she managed to growl like a cornered fox.
He planned this, the bastard planned on giving her this, this…whatever the hell it is. He planned it he wants to see how desperate she really was.
Well she would prove she didn't break that easy.

As if impart disagreement her body already began to betray her by snatching the cup.
He lowered himself to eye level with the young girl, his smirk only barely there.
He watched in amusement as she took a large swig.
Kagome spat the drink out in his face angering the dark hanyou.
“Wench, learn your place!” He then punctuated his demand with the sound of skin hitting skin in a painful contact.
“Next time, appreciate the `generosity' of others!” he growled wiping the fluids from his face.
Grabbing a fistful of her hair he yanked her head back so her eyes met his.
Her eyes were full of defiance, yet he saw the slight fear, it only made him lust for more.
He stopped himself before he could proceed; he had nothing against taking her by force, but she had become good at hiding the emotions she felt as he took her, no, he wanted to hear her scream, and this wasn't the way.
No, he just might try a new game with the miko, something more painful.
As he thought the answer came.
Tossing her aside as if no more than a mere doll he turned and left her in the cell.
He needed time to get the resources for this punishment.
Kagome began coughing causing her frail body to shake with the exertion.
Blood spattered against the stone floor and her quivering arms.
Soon the weak limbs gave allowing her to fall into the blood painfully.
She knew if she stayed face down in her own blood she would drown in the very thing that gave her life.
She pushed herself up weakly, but her arms proved to weak to hold even the light burden of her body.
She tried again, and failed.
This continued over and over, though she didn't give up.
Unknown to her a pair of crimson eyes watched questioningly as she continued to try and fail.
~
Kagura watched silently as the girl kept repeating a stupid action.
`Why does she keep at it? What is keeping her alive? I just don't understand…'
The more the wind sorceress watched the more the girl intrigued her.
`Maybe she is just too thick headed to die…' That seemed like the most logical explanation, but something nagged at her conscience telling her that wasn't it.
Either way Kagura found herself walking towards the girls cell.
~
She could feel the warm blood sliding down her face from the gash upon her forehead and her lips.
She was startled when the door opened, but steeled her-self for whatever was to come.
She wasn't prepared for the gentle hands lifting her into a seated position.

Her eyes narrowed at the incarnate of Naraku.
“Relax girl, I despise Naraku as well, but even I know when to quit.”
Her ice blue eyes never left the sorceress.
A small unnoticeable sigh escaped the wind demons lips; this was going to be hard.

Standing, Kagura left the cell only to return with a rag and small wooden bowl, similar to the other.
Picking up the other bowl the kaze youkai sniffed the contents, her fiery eyes met Kagome's own cold gaze.
“It is poison, nothing serious, most likely to cause internal bleeding, but since you didn't swallow, or not a lot, you should be good by noon next day.” Kagura spoke more to herself then the miko.
Dipping the cloth in the cool water she began wiping away the drying blood.
She had to admit over the time the miko had been in captivity Kagura had grown a grudging respect towards the miko, even a slight envy.
“Why…Why are you helping me?” it was more a demand for answers then anything, though her voice was hoarse and small she still managed to sound threatening.
Kagura's respect only grew.
“I respect you girl, I don't know how you did it exactly, but you gained it.”
Kagome was a little startled by the admittance, but became cold once again.
The miko allowed the demon to care for her wounds, though keeping her eyes wary and upon the demon.
~
It was becoming more a chore to watch the group, then he had first thought, he was abut ready to hang himself out of shear boredom.
Each day it was the same routine: wake, bathe, eat, march, kill demons, march, kill, march, eat, kill, march, kill, village, exterminate demons, rest, march, bathe and sleep. The routine was stuck in his head! Ever since the day the hanyou demanded they take baths they had struck a routine, and the exterminator had begun using the strange attire for sleep, which he found impractical.
Sango stared upon the customary attire of her friend, it was becoming chilly at night, but she couldn't sleep with out that familiar scent.
Kagome had become the mother of the group, and so everyone felt so lulled and warm when she was around so the fact that everyone stayed within smelling distance of her, she wore them letting everyone sleep peacefully. Tonight she was searching for a thicker blanket when she cam upon the attire Kagome usually wore in winter when going to bed.
The soft warm fabric made her feel slightly relaxed, deciding that she would wear them in stead of the regular school outfit.
Sango felt guilty about wearing Kagome's clothes, but if she didn't no one would gain rest and the atmosphere would be unbearably tense.
She did these similar things when she had lost her mother, practically drowning herself in her mother's scent, which was why she was so fond of lilies.
Hiei had been surprised by the change in sleeping attire the girl wore, this set seemed more practical, and absentmindedly he realized, the girl had fallen asleep significantly faster.

The kitsune curled upon the slayers stomach with a blanket wrapping him up.
Hiei decided that instead of fallowing the group, which was proving to be bad for his mental health, he would track the scent of the one they searched for, if she proved to nothing more then an idiot, and annoying he would kill her. On the other hand if she proved some amusement, well he would see from there.
So in a flash of black the little apparition was gone.
An uneasy feeling fell over the inu-gumi that night even the unconscious pair felt it, Shippo snuggled deeper into the covers and Sango curled up into a fetal position around the fox shivering lightly, but not from a chill from the foreboding in the air.
~
It didn't take him long to find the scent, about two to three days, but it would take the group at least a week to make it, if they continued at their set pace.
His agility had added his feat notably; at current he stood before an ominous castle that oozed miasma.

(A/N: Japanese style! ^^)
He knew he could not break the barrier with simply the sword he carried; he began searching for a weakness in the barrier.
He knew he could not break the barrier with simply the sword he carried; he began searching for a weakness in the barrier.
The youki in the palm of his hand spread only to his fingertips.
Beside that problem he managed to find a significant weakness, it was a hole no larger then his thumb, but if he struck with enough force and youki filling the blade at a high level, he would be able to penetrate the barrier to make a large enough gap for him to continue on.
He proceeded cautiously, though there was a slight cockiness in his movements.
~
Once he entered the barrier he had to shield his nose, the miasma would kill him if not.
He concentrated his youki into burning the miasma as he treaded on.
~
Naraku was aware of the intruder and found it highly amusing that the little demon had gotten this far.
He wondered slightly if he was a companion of the miko, one he had over looked. A frown marred his features, he was not going to just hand him his toy that easy, but he could have a little fun with the forbidden bastard.
~
Another sigh escaped the wind demon, she could still feel the cold blue eyes burrowing into her, even now as far as she was from the cell that contained the blue eyed girl.

Shaking such thoughts from her head she continued to her chambers.
~
Hiei watched in bemusement as the wind sorceress left the girl, every so often looking over her back to see the girl still burning holes in her back.
He wondered whom this girl was to have so much courage to stand up to the wind apparition.
He could not smell but death and decay on these lands hiding her scent. He had come across many prisoners, some looking dead, others looking to have never been alive to begin with.
Few were lower level demon, too stupid to actually try and escape, the rest were a few human looking servants, the rest looked nothing human or demon. Yet so far he had not seen any as stubborn and fiery as this girl. He could tell from her aura she was human, but something seemed…off.
~
“You are quite amusing, tell me are you just wishing for death or are you that thick to think you could with stand a demon, even a lower level demon could kill you off right now.”
Kagome's head lifted at the unfamiliar voice.
“I am neither, I just don't care anymore, but I still won't go down without a fight. If he sent you to kill me off, you can try, but you won't be leaving unmarred either.”
He was highly amused now, she was making death threats when she could barely even talk, the girl was amusing and fiery, to qualities he liked, but this girl was a mere ningen and they are of no use but entertainment for demons.
“Ah, you are amusing speaking threats when you can't even move.”
“Do you have proof I cannot move, beside I don't care about the pain I feel anymore, just so long as I leave my mark.”
Leaning back on the decayed tree he sat upon he let out a low chuckle.
“What is your name human?”
“Well it definitely is not `human', my name is of none of your concern, and unless you give me reason reveal it.”
She didn't want them using her name, or wanting anyone who was here to bring her torture to say it with their vile tongue.
“I am searching for someone by the name of `Kagome'…” He stated.
“Why?” She asked harshly.
“I wish to see if the girl is really what she is rumored, a priestess whom companions lay in a fox kit, a taijiya, a monk, a hanyou and a fire cat. I am just here to see if she provides amusement.”
“Then I won't tell you my name, you an to believe what ever you want.” She stated.
His eyes brow quirked, well he just might forgo finding this `Kagome' and watch this human.
There was something about her that tugged at his mind, yet he couldn't figure it out…
