Secrets Exposed

If one were to ask her why they had started this, the answer would have most likely been curiosity. It was no secret that they had been attracted to each other, at least a bit. Flirty looks had been passed, occasional touches that had sent both of their nerves on edge but it had progressed no farther. At least not at that time, both of them had long term partners who tended to have jealous streaks and neither of them really cared to see just how far they could push. But when Shizuru had broken up with Kurama, she just couldn't say no. Hiei was almost always gone, working in the Makai for Mukuro and the nights were lonely. But not anymore.

Kagome threw her head back with a throaty moan as two slender fingers worked deeper into her. No closer to an answer than she had been any of the other times she started down this line of thinking she closed her eyes with a sigh and allowed sleep to overcome her.

It was the realization that she was alone in the bed that had woken her up several hours later. Opening her eyes slowly it was confirmed that the spot next to her was empty, fingers tracing the sheets revealed that they were cold. Kagome had been up for some time and hadn't woken her, which was typical for the miko. It was difficult for her to sleep on most occasions and Kagome knew this. It was her way of showing she cared, leaving her to sleep whenever the opportunity presented itself. Pulling herself into a sitting position she grabbed her shirt that had been discarded earlier in the day and slid it over her shoulders.

A quick glance out the window revealed that she had been asleep for several hours, night having long since fallen. Sliding out of the bed she made her way to the doorway, wondering if she dared to stay the night. It was something they only did rarely, for Hiei usually returned in the early morning hours and it was always a concern that he would find out about what was going on. Sounds from the kitchen alerted her to where Kagome had relocated to. Probably to fix some sort of light dinner for the both of them.

As she suspected, when she arrived in the kitchen Kagome was standing in front of one of the cupboards with a look of concentration on her face. As Shizuru walked up to the girl she couldn't help but notice that Kagome's skin was slightly damp, most likely from having taken a bath recently. Pulling the long black hair away from the girl's neck she laid a gentle kiss on her shoulder. "You should have woken me up, I would have joined you."

Laughing slightly Kagome tilted her head to the side as Shizuru's lips hit a sensitive spot. The hands trailing up her bared legs didn't hurt things either and for the briefest of moments she closed her eyes. "You needed your sleep more than you needed a bath. Really Shizuru if I don't look after you who will."

"You say that like I can't take care of myself." Had it come from anyone else she might have taken offense but she had become accustomed to the way Kagome thought. It didn't matter who you were or how capable you were, she had a nurturing tendency that called out to her, making her worry about everyone else. It was just another of those things that had drawn her towards the Miko in the first place.

Reaching behind her Kagome briefly caressed the woman's cheek. "I know you can but humor me. I can always tell when you need sleep and this time was no different." She didn't want to let on just how concerned she was but she was beginning to believe that the only time Shizuru slept was when she was visiting but she wouldn't reveal just what it was that was troubling her, no matter how much Kagome had asked.

"So you have a point. Now that I've slept though, I'm suddenly finding myself with all this excess energy. Whatever shall I do with it I wonder." It was a distraction technique and an effective one at that but it kept Kagome from asking questions she had no answers for. Her hand slid up the Miko's shirt, fingers tracing against a nipple and teasing it until it was hard.

Sarcasm had made its appearance and now she waited to see just how he would take it.

Reaching a hand between her legs, he roughly thrust two fingers deep within her before moving them slowly. This woman was arrogant, something he had always liked about her but she was about to learn just who was the dominant one out of the three of them. "What am I going to do with you?" Hiei diverted his attention from Shizuru for the briefest of moments, turning to look at Kagome. "She will learn her place." "It means that she needs you as much as you need her and as long as you continue to give her what she needs, I will not object to your current arrangement." Hiei allowed Kagome to get up then, watching her go to Shizuru who was watching her with a carefully guarded expression. He could see the hope in her eyes but at the same time, a familiar wariness lurked there. "I'll be in the shower if either of you wish to talk." He grabbed his pants off the floor before disappearing from the room, giving them the time alone that they needed.

"Are you sure about this?" Shizuru turned to her after Hiei had left them to themselves. It would seem they had Hiei's permission to continue their affair but only if it was what Kagome wanted.

Kagome famed the woman's face in her hands and laid a kiss on her lips. "Of course I'm sure about this. I'm as surprised as you are by his reaction but, I do care for you Shizuru. Will you stay? Do you even want to after this?"

A smile came to her lips then, it wasn't an admittance of love but it was close enough for her. "I'd love to, now how about we go show that cocky apparition of yours just what it's like when two women are in charge for a change?"

Laughter filled the room as Kagome took her hand, leading her towards the bathroom. To date she hadn't managed to overpower Hiei when it came to their lovemaking but with Shizuru there, anything was possible.
