Chapter 6

 

~~~~Around noon the next day~~

 

Sango, Hiei, and Higaro had been searching the caves all morning with no success. The caves were literally mazes upon mazes. Just when one of them would think they found an entry to go deeper into the cave, they found another exit out of it. Most of the entry ways would also lead you into the same place in which they started. Which was frustrating to say the least. Just imagine going in through a different entry way and following it for about an hour or so just to get led back to the same spot.

 

`Damn, another dead end.' Higaro complained. `Just who's bright idea was it to search these misbegotten caves.'

 

`Hn..Yours Icee.' Hiei responded.

 

`Well you didn't have to agree with me you know.' Higaro complained. `I mean that saying could have meant anything. Didn't necessarily have to be a cave. Besides why are we searching for it. It's not like we need the extra power. We're pretty strong as it is. I mean come on, what would be the fun in defeating someone with powers that are not your own………….ect…..ect…ect.' (A/N sorry but Higaro's in a complaining mood and don't feel like typing everything out.)

 

~about thirty minutes later~

 

`Hey are you guys even listening to me………' Higaro was still complaining and mumbling. Hiei and Sango were trying their best to ignore Higaro in the hopes that this would stop his complaining. No such luck.

 

`Jeez the least you can do when someone is talking is listen…'

 

`HIRATSU !!'

 

WHACK

 

BUMP

 

THUMP

 

`Hn.. Thanks mate' Hiei smirked.

 

`MATE??!!' Yelled a started Sango.

 

Hiei blushed, ` I I II I mean wench.' He finally stuttered.

 

`Mate?' Sango said quietly. `Hiei is their something you haven't told me.'

 

`Hn' Hiei got even redder.

 

`Hiei do you want me for a mate?' Sango asked quietly while turning ten different shades of red.

 

Hiei stayed quiet.

 

`I see then.' Sango then promptly turned her back on him and started walking through another passageway.

~STUPID STUPID STUPID~ Sango thought to herself. ~of course he doesn't want you for a mate. What was I thinking. The only thing he probably wants you for is just to warm his bed. No human male has ever truly wanted just me so why would a yokai be any different. Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid.~

 

~~~~~~~ Hiei's POV ~~~~~~~~

 

~BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA~ Hiei thought to himself. As he just stood there watching Sango walk away. ~How could I have just blurted it out like that. I am such a baka. I want her to be my mate. But if she rejects me I can no longer be with her, and I don't want to lose her…baka baka baka ect……..'

 

~~~~~~~ Higaro's POV~~~~~~~

 

Regaining consciousness

 

~Whoa what a headache. I swear I'm seeing stars.~ I tried sitting up when an awful headache just struck out of nowhere……….seeing nothing but darkness and ……~wow them stars are sooooooooo colorful~ Higaro thought as he lost consciousness again.

 

 

 

Hi all. Sorry so short and haven't updated in a while. I have an idea of what's suppose to happen next but I just need to write it down. Well please review and let me know what you think so far.
