Ok, this chapter might be a little odd, so bare with me. Sesshy is dating Kagura and Kagome and Inuyasha are in love... EWWWW! JK, JK.

“You know, I hate school,” Inuyasha grumbled as he and Kagome walked into the large building known as Hell- I mean school.

 

“You know Inuyasha, no matter how much you keep whining, school wont go away.” Sesshomaru walked up to the couple.

 

“Hey Sesshomaru. Do you know where Demerin is?” Kagome questioned the tall demon in front of her. “I want to introduce her to our group.”

 

“I'm here Kagome. What are you talking about?” Demerin asked as she walked up beside Sesshomaru. “Hey Sesshy.”

 

“Why are you two so close? He`s never let anyone call him that. Not even his girlfriend.” Inuyasha looked surprised.

 

Demerin felt an odd pang in her heart when she heard girlfriend but didn't pay much mind to it. “He's seen me work. Its weird, you probably wouldn't get it. Kagome, what did you need?”

 

“Come on, I want you to met my friends!” Kagome cried and she pulled Demerin into the school.

 

The two young males watched as the girls ran off.

 

“You like her, don't you?” Inuyasha asked his older brother, not daring to look at his face.

 

“I think I... It's none of your business.” He growled and walked toward his group of people.

 

`Yep, he's in deep.' he thought to himself as he followed after Kagome and Demerin.

“Demerin, this is my cousin Yusuke, his girlfriend Kayko, Miroku, Sango, Kuwabara, Yukina and Botan. You already know me and Inuyasha.”

 

“Are you talkin' `bout me, Kagome?” Inuyasha asked as he walked up to the group.

 

“Inuyasha, stop.” Kagome giggled.

 

“Are they always like this?” Demerin glanced at Yusuke.

 

“All lovey dovey? Ya, even when they come over to my place.” He responded, shaking his head.

 

The group walked away leaving Inuyasha, Kagome and Demerin. “I am going to go to class and see who's in it. I missed them on Friday anyways.”

 

She too left and walked to her class. On the way she ran into Sesshomaru and a girl. They were holding hands.

 

“Hello Demerin. Did my brother and Kagome introduce you to the retards of the school?” Sesshomaru asked.

 

“Yes, but most of them are sophomores except for Yusuke and Miroku.”

 

“Do you know this...” the girl glanced at Demerin's clothing and laughed, “person, Sesshomaru?”

 

“Yes Kagura, this is Demerin. She is currently living with me.” Sesshomaru told her and she tugged on his arm. “What?”

 

“Why is she living with you?!” She shrieked.

 

Sesshomaru and Demerin covered their ears. “I think she doesn't like me because she feels that I'm a threat to your relationship, if I am correct in assuming she is your girlfriend.” Demerin looked at the younger girl.

 

“Sesshomaru!” Kagura pouted.

 

“Shut up. I hate it when you whine.” Sesshomaru glared at the girl before turning back to Demerin. “Yes, she is my girlfriend, but I don't know how long this time will last. It seems that we always break up and then get back together.”

 

Kagura gasped and let go of his arm. “Why are you telling her that?”

 

“Well, I guess you can't hold on to your man to well, can you? Not that I care, but, better by him a leash.” Demerin walked away and Sesshomaru stood there fuming.

 

“A leash? I am not a mutt.”

 

Kagura looked at her soon to be ex-boyfriend, sniffling, as he watched Demerin leave. “Sesshomaru, that was wrong and I can see that we will never go anywhere so we are over.”

 

“So that's it, is it. Well that's fine. I was going to dump you soon anyways.” He walked away leaving Kagura with tears streaming down her cheeks.

Sesshomaru walked out across the football field to the stands.

 

“You know Sesshomaru, you really should get to class.”

 

He knew someone was out here but he couldn't tell whom the smell belonged to from the cigarette stink. “Who are you?”

 

“It's Demerin.”

 

He raised an eyebrow. “What are you doing out here? You should be in class.”

 

“Well, you too.” She walked out from behind one of the bleachers. “Why are you here?”

 

“Kagura and I broke up.”

 

“Poor girl. Must have broken her heart.” She stated as leaned against one of the posts.

 

“She cried and the news will probably be around the school by lunch.” He rolled his eyes and looked up.

 

“Well have fun with all the fan girls.” She stood up and started to walk away.

 

“Wait. This might seem odd, but will you pretend to be my girlfriend?”

 

She stopped but didn't turn around when she replied. “You can't be serious.”

 

“I'm dead serious.”

 

“Fine, but only pretend. Your father would flip if he found out and got the wrong idea.” She turned back and walked up to him.

 

“Good, let's go inside, it's almost lunch. You know, Kagura's going to be pretty pissed when she sees us together.” Sesshomaru said as they walked toward the cafeteria building.

 

“So? Why should I care if she's mad? I don't like her or her brother.”

 

“They are part of my group. You'll have to get used to them.” Sesshomaru groaned when she punched his right arm, hard.

 

“This is only pretend. Anyways, I've only met some of them, right? Who knows what might happen.”
