This fic had just come up to me and I started writing it the same day the inspiration had hit me… anyway, my heart aches because of my distorted love life but I'm pretty sure that I'm fine… since this happens almost every week… tell me guys, is it wrong to get mad at your loved one because he'd rather spend his time with his friends than you? Whom he says to be his loved one? Am I right or wrong? Is it wrong to get angry just because he breaks his promises for mere 9 times? Or am I at the right side… that it's just right to be angry after all that he's done…?

Anyway… reverting the topic to this fic… I need at least 10 reviews to update or otherwise I will delete this story. So if you really want to read the next chapter, please review. And I could use some advice… please. I really need it. Thanks… By the way, this is my first fic… so please, read and review.

If Dreams Became Reality

Chapter 1
---

A figure was standing on top of a hill… a female… she had long silver straight hair that reached a little pass her waist, with some short silver strands framing her beautiful, serene face. She had porcelain white flawless skin, long slender arms and legs and the most dainty looking hands anyone might have ever seen. She had a very female body, like that of a Princess or even an Empress.

Though her body defined and compared as that of a Princess, her face held sadness that was equal to losing 10 loved ones… she had sad, yet one of the most beautiful ice blue eyes. Her lips were naturally pink and she seemed to have water blue eye shadow. She was wearing a black, school girl and sailor-style uniform. (Think Kagome's, only the green part is black and the red ribbon is also black.)

She had short white socks and black school shoes with no heels. She had on black star earrings and black metal wrist bands that looked like cloth, each on one of her wrists. She kept standing still on the hill, her fisted left hand was close to her chest and her right hand was placed by her right ear, keeping the strands of her hair away from being blown to her face. She still had the sad eyes reflecting on her personality.

She was a breath-taking view to see… for anyone's eyes especially one that reflects sadness like hers. Around her, most of were cherry blossom trees and grass covered grounds… and there was also a small pond near her with fishes swimming in it. The sky was fair and it was a beautiful day, although she might not seem to notice. Behind her was the back of a temple-like structure. And more or less, it seemed to be where she lives. The shoji door opened and for the first time in a while, the silver haired girl standing made movement.

She closed her ice blue eyes and let out some breath that she seemed to be holding in for quite a while. She opened her eyes once again and walked down the hill ever so slowly. She smiled a small smile to the person she knew whom was looking at her by the shoji door. A man, in his 40's smiled at her and she smiled a small and sad smile back at the man she had always seen as her father ever since she was 7. The man had black hair with gray strands in them because of aging.

He was wearing black hakama's and a white haori, he had chocolate brown eyes… that somehow reflected sadness in them although he appeared to be happy on the outside. In his right hand was a wooden sword. He seemed to have been using it, leaving him slightly sweaty. The beautiful girl stood in front of him. She leaned in and kissed him on his left cheek signifying respect. He nodded and she took this as a sign, and went in the temple-like house.

As she left, the man, who appears to be her father bowed his head down slightly in sadness by the way his daughter had looked. But he knew that he was somehow used to it… even though it has been 3 years since he saw her smile a real, genuine smile. He then went back in, but not before taking one last glance at the spot where he first saw his daughter standing.

The man saw his daughter cleaning the dining room, sweeping out the dirt and dust that have gathered after a day. She was still wearing her school uniform and a minute later had moved on to cleaning the dishes, preparing for dinner. She had finished not a moment later.

“ Kagome, would you mind running down the store? I don't think we have anything to cook and eat tonight.” The man inquired, getting his daughter to smile and nod. She then walked out of the room after making some tea for her father.

“ I'll be back soon.” She said before leaving the dining room completely.

Kagome was walking on the sidewalk; her eyes were still their sad self. She held the grocery bag on her left hand, the wind slightly blowing. Her mind was empty… she held no feelings as of then. She was walking in silence, catching the attention of others walking like her, even with their own business. Suddenly, she found herself stopping in her tracks. Her eyes far and dazed.

“ Kagome…” a voice called.

Kagome's attention snapped to where she heard the voice came from. She felt like the voice came from everywhere around her, she kept looking around, wondering who was calling her. But she could see no one. The voice was mischievous, it seemed like it was having the time of it's life and most importantly, it was the same as hers. It was the voice that kept calling her for a mere week now.

However, the voice that was calling her only appeared to call her in her mind and she always thought that the voice was just a figment of her imagination gone wild. But right then and there, she was now convinced that it was not just a figment of her imagination, it was not just in her mind, it was also real. And the truth was, she was afraid of it. Of what she might find.

After a while, Kagome resumed walking. It was already dark and she knew that her father would get worried if she didn't come back soon. She walked as fast as she could… to find herself stopping in her tracks to try and find out where the voice was coming from after it had called to her again. She stopped completely, looking behind her, intending to see the person calling on her.

A second later, Kagome found herself falling to the ground with her body facing front. Her eyes were closed shot because of the pain she felt on her back. She opened her eyes and looked behind her, just in time to see a green skinned man, with green eyes and dark brown hair jumping toward her with hands flexed with claws attempting to scratch her. Kagome's reflexes kicked in and she jumped away before she could get hit.

She landed on her feet, slumping slightly because of the pain on her back. She felt hot blood trickle down her spine. Her eyes darted to her left, where the groceries had scattered. She then looked back at the monster that was in front of her, and suddenly noticed a black circle near a tree. She stared at it, looking at the swirling black and dark blue colors in it. It somehow looked like a portal to her. But the question was, where did it lead to? Why was it there? How could it be there?

“ What are you?…” Kagome found herself asking the green skinned man whom was licking his right hand tinted with her blood.
“ Silly human. I'm a demon, and I was ordered to kill you.” He replied, with confidence that he would do as what he was told.
“ Demon…?” She asked in a whisper. It was impossible. But contrast to what she thought was the proof that was in front of her.

She jumped, dodging the claws heading for her face, landing soundlessly and smoothly on the streetlight. Hundreds of questions formed in her head in mere seconds and she could find no answer to them whatsoever. But she tried focusing her mind to one thing. And it was defeating the monster that was said to have been ordered to kill her. Kagome closed her eyes in concentration. She could see perfectly in the dark and she could feel the
immense power coming from the full moon.

She opened her eyes, and her hands flexed, showing off the long claws it had been hiding underneath its skin. She jumped off the streetlight, and landed in the middle of the street, where no cars had been crossing. Her hands visibly appeared glowing with dark blue energy under the light that the streetlight had provided. The monster attacked, and in a blink of an eye, Kagome disappeared in his vision.

She appeared behind him. And with one clean swipe, her clawed right hand went through the monster like a hot knife through butter. It sliced the monster in half and much to her annoyance, had covered her hand with red and green blood. She looked at the monster, she couldn't just leave it like that there. People would have questions about it… it would cause problems. Her hands stopped glowing, and she picked up the green monster, she brought it to the park, near the trees.

She dug a deep hole using her clawed hands and not a minute later, she buried the green monster in front of a large cherry tree. She made sure it wasn't obvious that something was buried. She picked up the concrete bench with ease and placed it on top of the ground where she buried the monster. After making sure no one would suspect anything, she looked at her work and with her clawed right hand, she marked the tree with a shallow scratch of her claws.

She immediately went to the small pond and washed her hand free of blood and dirt. Her eyes went dazed, but this time, her eyes were not empty. They were now full of unanswered questions. She could feel the blood trickling behind her. She gathered her hair on to one side to ease the pain of having strands of her hair stick in the wound on her back. The question was, how could she go back with her uniform with claw scratches and her skin all peeled because of the wound.

The wound on her back was shallow… but she was sure it was really a long scratch and was probably the first wound she had after 3years. Her attention suddenly snapped to something and she suddenly found herself running like the speed of light and picked up the groceries she had dropped from before and rushed back to her house. When she arrived, she found everything peaceful and in it's place. She didn't smell anything unusual and she could feel nothing unusual as well. Only the smell of her blood was out of place.

She had been gone for over an hour and a half and Kagome knew that her father was looking for her. She could smell his worry all the way from the living room. With no choice left, Kagome jumped over their house, and entered it silently by going through the back door. She placed the grocery on the kitchen table and placed the kettle with water in it on the stove so that when it boils, her father would hear. And he would know that his daughter was already home and that there was nothing to be worried about.

But when that happens, she would be in the hot springs, with the first aid kit.

In a hidden view
---

Unknown to her, she had been watched ever since she had contact with the green skinned demon. Ruby red eyes blinked in unusual confusion. It was his first time experiencing confusion in such an amount that he would have to suppress himself from jumping out of his hiding place and demanding for answers from the girl he was observing.

Meanwhile, the Spirit Detectives still had a mission to get rid of a demoness, whom they could still not find. They had an emergency meeting because of important information that one of the spirit detectives had just gathered and informed Koenma. And as of that second, he was about to reveal all the information put together by the Spirit World authorities and members. They had placed the pieces of the puzzle together and it was just a matter of time before they would start taking action.

It was just a couple of days ago after someone had infiltrated and played with spirit world with no effort whatsoever. Came in without anyone noticing this being and came out the same way as well. It all seemed so easy to this being, and the prince of spirit world was glad that he was still alive and was still able to yell at his detectives. Though he still had nightmares from that event…

It was supposed to be a normal day… and Koenma was having the time of his life watching movies in his office instead of stamping some important documents like he should be doing. The demi-God did not know that he was up against something.

Something that could go in and out of his territory whenever it wanted… something that could kill him whenever it wanted… something that had a chance of getting rid of him but didn't… something that he now knew the weakness of. Something he knew his detectives would destroy later.
