~Chapter 3: Living Part: 1~
agome stared blindly at the light on her roof, the only thing in the world she can see. Light. Her eyes stung at staring at it for 4 hours. She couldnt stand the light. It hurt. But she like being able to see somthing. Sighing, she rased her hand above her face, blocking the light. She could see a very blurry image of a hand, well, you couldnt tell it was a hand. Sighing again, she rolled on her belly and closed her eyes. She tapped her fingers to a un heard song. God she was bored. feeling restless, she rolleds on her back again and winced.
The burn on her back still wasnt healing. Shirori did put some numbing cream and antiseptic, but did nothing to hind the pain. After the pain had subside, Kagome brang her hands behind her head. God she was really bored. What do blind people do for fun? Nothing she knew of. She couldnt go for walks alone without getting run over again, or not knowing where she was going. She couldnt watch TV, her eyes were already sore, and she wouldnt beable to see anything. Maybe she could help Shirori cook....no she'd just make a mess.....What can a blind person with no memory of the past year do for fun?
Kagome closed her eyes again and listened to down stairs. Shirori was cooking lunch, her new uncel was in the kitchen with her, maybe reading the news paper and talking with her. Her new younger cousin was in the living room playing video games, he was losing too. His heart beat was erratic. She didnt know why, but she could hear the heart beats of other people, when there far away. She guessed it was cause she lost her eyes sight, her other sences where hightend. But could they really become that strong?
She heard the front door open. Straining her ears to see who it was, Kagome listened.

Kurama sighed as he entered his house. Yusuke and Kwubara tailing after him. Why did he have such innoying, unshamful friends?
"Come Fox boy it was just a joke. Plus it looks good, not like we made it pink" Yusuke laugh as he ruffed Kuramas hair. Kurama gave him a glare and plushed his hand away. Really, how could they be so cruel?
Shuichi (I mean Kuramas younger step brother) looked up from his video game -that he was curantly losing to- and gasped.
"...wow...." He mumbled, his eyes wide as dish plates. Kurama sighed again and gave him a pointed look.
"Oh good Shuichi your home I need you to giv--what did you do to your hair?" Shirori raised an eyebrow at her son with a slight disoproving look.
Yusuke seeing the hard look turned to Kurama.
"Well we'll be waiting in your room, Have fun!" Yusuke and Kwubara left Kurama in the marcy of Shirori. Sighing for the 10th time that day, Kurama turn towards his mother.
" Gomen Okaa-san. I decided to change it a bit, is that alright?" Changed abit is a slight understament. Yusuke, had secretly dyed his hair when he had fallen asleep at Genkia's, and not doing a very good job. His hair was now a darker red, and had black streaks. He had to cut his hair from the horrible job at the bottem, and his hair now hang down to his sholders.
"Its ok...but I wish you would have told be befor hand. anyways, we're in a rush. We're going to Shuichi's soccor game today and I need you to give Kagome her lunch and her medication. We'll be going out for Pizza afterward. We'll be back in 3-4 hours. Gomen Shuichi, I wish I could take you both with us." She looked at him with guilty eyes. Kurama gave her a reasuring smile and turned off the TV to stop Shuichi from playing. Shuichi complained, but got his things.
" Its fine Okaa-san, I'm too tired anyway and I have company. Have fun." She gave him one last smile and she and ther other two left. Running his hands through his hair, shuichi made his way slowly up the stairs.

Kagome, Yusuke, Kuwabara and Kurama all sat in a unconfortable silence as they ate. Kagome slowly ate your tomateo soup, tring not to draw attention to herself. Kagome had met Yusuke a week ago, and found she liked him, even if he was a little rough arounf the edges, he was honest. She was slight alittle unconfortable around him, but not afraid. Kuwabara she just met, he seems nice, he liked her cat buyo. She liked Shuichis friends, and heard there was more, she was intrested in meeting them.
Dispite her fondness of them so far....she couldnt stand the silence in the room.
Yusuke rested his head on his arms as he poked at the food he was given. His eyes glanced up at the girl across from him, knowing she couldnt tell if he was. She was pretty, even with the few cuts that were still visible. Her long raven hair shined in the afternoon light and contrasted to her dreamy pale skin. Yes she was pretty. Yusuke stared into her blind grey eyes, well, from what he heard, she wasnt completely blind. From what Kurama told him, her eyes were so badly damaged, everything she saw was a complete blur. Even if her eyes had apperantly dulled from the damage, he still thought they very pretty aswell.
Yusuke's eyes wondered the rest of her body. She was wearing one of Kuramas Black Tshirts, and collar hung innocently of her small sholder, revealing a small tattoo on her collar bone. Yusuke blinked and stared at the half revealed ink. He reconized it to be one of the roman numbers.
"Hey Kagome, I didnt know you have a tattoo" he stated wanting to break the unforgiving silence with his new discovery.
Kagome blinked and shurged, " Another one? " Over the last two weeks, shuichi and the rest of the family had found a couple littered on her body. She was awear of two pentagrams on both of her wrists, A black crestent moon on the back of her neck and one small black rose on her right shoulder. It didnt bother her, She just wished she knew what the really looked like.
Yusuke and Kuwabara blinked and looked at Kurama. He just shruged and looked over at Kagome. He moved her shirt slighty and stared at the new tattoo.
" Its a Roman number for 13" Kurama said and lead back. Kagome made an oh sound and went back to her food, blushing at the attention the little tatto had brung her. Yusuke and Kuwabara looked at Kurama questionaly, but ignored them and also went back to his found.
Yusuke open his mout to ask Kagome about her other tattoos, but was cut off by the phone. He and Kuwabara both looked at Kagome in suprise as she made her was easily to the phone on the other side of the room.
"She counts her steps. How many to everything in the room and where doors are." Kurama informed. Yusuke nodded, but Kuwabara was still confused.
" Moshi moshi" Kagome said into the phone.
"Kagome?" Kagome gasped at the familliar voice on the other end. The men in the room turned to Kagome with worried looks.
"Ayumi?" Kagome asked shyly.
"Kagome! oh my god you cant believe how long it took me to find this number. How are you?" kagome stood there blinking.
"....uh...fine I guess...." She didnt know what to say to that really.
" Well....me, Yuka and Eri are planing to go to a new Dance club near where you live tonight. On Saturdays theres no drinking alowed and we can go in. Do you wanna come?" She sound hopeful. Kagome had missed her good friends, and felt gulty for not calling them.
"....uh give me a second, let me ask...." Kagome placed the phone down on the table and turned to Shuichi.
"....um....one of my old friends wants me to go out tonight, can I?" Kagome fiddled with her fingers, waiting for her answer.
Kurama smiled at Kagome, even if she couldnt see. He was gladed that someone had contacted her, and offered her to get out of the house. KUrama had taken Kagome out for walks and too coffee shops, but a good friend might be better.
" Let me talk to her Kagome" Kagome nodded and handed Kurama the phone. He filled Ayumi in on Kagome condition and how to look after her. Ayumi, being afraid she would get somthing wrong and acidentaly hurting her friend, asked if he would go with them.
Kurama looked to Kagome and his friends waiting quietly at the table.
" Kagome, Your friend thinks it would be best if I join you, would that be allright with you?" Kagome looked up from her stop and nodded.
"Good, would you two like to come?" Yusuke shruged and Kuwabara gave a nod.
" Sound funs, mind if I bring Keiko too?" Yusuke asked. Kurama agreed and got the address and time to meet. Kagome was exsited, she missed her old friends and couldnt wait to hear their voices again.

...ok...im not very proud of this chapter....it was awkward to write, and Ive made alot of spelling mistakes...but hey, again my first story, so I wasnt ecspecting a best seller. I know I said Inuyasha would come in but im very tired right now. yea sorry. I promise the next one with be better.
