a/n: A lot are asking for a Kuronue/Kagome/Youko paring...I'm not sure, I mean I love the paring but a threesome is a hard thing to write. (to me anyways) Though I know what you mean OblivionAngel, I love that paring to. I'll try it though, please review. _^_

Much thanks to all who have reviewed so far, your reviews are what make me continue writing.

-Chapter six: feelings-

Kagome walked through the forest -which she seemed to be doing a lot of lately- jumping over fallen branches. Her wings twitched, her lavender hair tickling the soft leather-like skin. She brushed the hair out of her face, her apple green eyes sweeping over the clearing she stumbled upon.

She sat up against a large oak tree, her legs spreading out in front of her. Her eyes drooped, she had been walking all day. Okay, so two hours isn't all day but when your trying to leave the village unnoticed while four youkai are breathing down you neck...well, its hard.

Kagome closed her eyes, a long sigh escaping from her lips. Its was quiet for a while, only the sound of birds chirping, the wind rustling the trees. She started to nod off, the inky blackness of sleep painting her mind.

Then she felt something, just below her ribcage on her right, poking her..wait..poking?

Of course, with her mind still drowning in slight sleep, she just mumbled a 'go`way' and weakly waved a hand in the direction she thought the 'poker' was coming from. Her brows furrowed when she heard something...was that a snicker? There was that poking again, though this time if was on her left side...and I didn't stop at one poke...an annoying continues poke. Kagome made a silent promise to break whatever was touching her...very slowly.

Another, on her right. She growled low in her throat, something she hoped was threatening sound. There were some more snickers, and another poke. Damnit.

Her eyes flew open and quickly she grabbed the person closest to her and tackled them. She straddled there back and twisted there arms behind them, smirking sleepily at there groan of discomfort. She blinked, dizzy-ness almost overwhelming her, she must have moved to fast. When the world stopped spinning, her eyes flashed to the person beneath her. Silver hair, kitsune ears pressed flat to the persons skull. One name passed though your mind. 'Youko,' Hmm, if he's here, then his partner in crime must be here to. She lighted her grip slightly, and turned her head.

Kuronue was kneeling by the tree, he look to shocked and -jealous?- to move. Heh, she thought, must have been more surprising than I thought. The emotions on his face where buried quickly and he rose, looking down at his friend with a grin on his face.

"You know, you should never do that to a resting youkai." Kagome spoke before he could, she looked down at Youko. "and you," she tightened her grip once more, earning a yip from Youko's fallen person. "are more lucky than you know, I should have ripped your pretty little fingers off for poking me like that." She heard Kuronue snicker, "You too, okinawa!"

"Hey!"

She ignored him, much to his displeasure and climbed off of Youko. He stood with a pout already on his lips while rubbing his bruised hands. "How mean, we only wish to bring you company. Why, you should be honored!" Kagome raised an eyebrow, a grinning Youko elaborated, "My friend and I are two very handsome youkai, many woman fall at our feet in begging for our attention." Kagome burst out laughing, the serious-ness on the kitsunes face was just priceless and she couldn't handle it.

"You two are full of yourselves, go find some whore to bother, because I am most certainly not going to beg you for your company." Kagome said, her green eyes rolling.

"Miss. Kagome, that was rude." Kuronue scolded. "Youko is just fooling around, we truly wish for your company." He said, his beautiful purple eyes shining in honesty..wait, beautiful?

"Why?"

Now that question caught them off guard. At there dumbfounded looks Kagome sighed. "Why do you..'truly wish for my company?" Actually, she was quite curious to hear there answer. She wasn't that great, and she wasn't much of a conversationalist unless mad, or provoked.

Kuronue looked to Youko, his eyebrows rose. He wasn't so sure how to answer that one. To say he didn't know why was a good elaboration. She was addicting, enticing and something drawed him to you. And she was most certainly unique, he couldn't remember the last time a female turned away from his or Youko's attentions.

"We're not sure," Youko spoke, his eyes showing the same amount of confusion as his friends. He was attracted to Kagome, no doubt about that, but he knew he wouldn't act on it. He saw the way Kuronue had looked at you the first time he saw you. A look -no matter how hard he tried- couldn't describe. Kuronue didn't love the girl, he knew that, but its was only a matter of time before it was so. He also knew that if he stayed around Kagome much longer, that he too would grow an attachment to you.

Kagome felt confusion filter though her, not sure, what kind of answer was that? By the looks on their faces, they didn't really know themselves. She shrugged, brushing it off and internally beaming that they actually wanted to be with her. She was still upset about Anraku's death, but she was thankful for the attention Reimei, Youko and Kuronue had given her, it helped to repair the damage her Grandmothers loss caused. "Hn, at least you're honest about something's." Kagome said, her light green eyes flashing in amusement.

Kuronue gaped at her, crossing his arms he huffed. "I resent that, I'm always honest."

Kagome raised an eyebrow in Youko's direction, to which he just shrugged. She turned around and started back towards the village. "Right, okinawa."

Kuronue and Youko ran to catch up with Kagome, falling in step beside her.

"I'm not a fruitbat," Kuronue mumbled, his eyes shifting to foliage around them.

Kagome snorted, earning a chuckle from Youko, causing a light, pink hue to hover over her cheeks. She discreetly raised a hand to her face, her finger barley touching the heated flesh. What had caused that, she wounded. She dropped her arm and sighed. The two youkai looked to her, confusion and slight concern on there features. Kagome almost wanted to sigh again, what was this feeling? It was similar to what she had felt when she had that crush on Reimei when she was younger. The butterflies and blushes just wouldn't leave when they were around. Kagome bit her bottom lip, a crush maybe? But on both of them? She could feel the blush spreading at the thought, she had only known them since she learned about Anraku's health, two weeks ago. But only since her death did they start to hang around her more, much to her father Reimei displeasure. A week, a week of just talking with them and learning about them.

They were thieves, pretty well known she would say with the information she had gathered though them and others. She absently wondered when they would leave for another raid. They hadn't left the village since she had first seen them, surely they wouldn't stay there much longer. Without Kuronue's mother, they had no reason to, and that thought saddened her. Those eyes were still boring holes in her person and a irritated growl bubbled up in her throat.

"What?" she snapped, making both of the youkai jump at her sudden voice.

"What are you thinking about, Kagome?" Youko asked, his tails swishing back and forth with curiosity, his ears turning in her direction intent on an answer.

Kagome pushed her hair over her shoulder, her eyes shining in thought. "Nothing really, just absent thoughts that enter in and out." She said, the glazed look disappearing.

Thankfully Youko accepted this answer and turned his attention back to the path ahead of them. Kuronue's eyes, though, were still on her. She knew he wanted a more direct answer. She shifted her eyes to him sideways. As soon as her eyes hit him, he directed his gaze elsewhere. She smiled at the pink on his cheeks, thinking how cute he look, innocent. Her eyes swept over him, taking his look in. Her fingers twitched as she looked at his hair, long, silky black hair tied up high in a ponytail, she wondered how he would look if it was down. Admiring how his strange hat hid half of his gorgeous face, wanting to rip it off so she could see him fully. His wings twitched, dragging her eyes to them. They looked like her own, though black in color were hers were deep purple. He was dressed in all black, completely opposite of Youko, who was dressed in all white. Yin and Yang, she thought with a small smile. She smirked as he noticed stare and his blush deepened, but her blush came back full blow when a perverted smirk formed on his luscious lips and his light violet eyes shifted back to hers.

"Pervert." She mumbled under her breath, looking away from his piercing eyes.

"Mmm, you shouldn't talk, little one. I wasn't the one ogling my wonderful person." He said, shrugging. His voice caught Youko's attention and he looked over to Kagome, raising an eyebrow.

Kagome face flamed. "I was not ogling anything of yours!!" She shouted, her wings bristling in embarrassment and rage. "Trust me, I've seen better." she said, smug-ness filled her at the sudden scowl on the bat youkai's face and the roaring laughter coming from his kitsune companion. "I've seen better than you, too, fox."

Heh, that shut him up. Kagome thought, her shoulders shaking in suppressed giggles. The look on their faces were priceless, absolutely priceless. Kuronue's face was an emotion torn between shock and embarrassment, while Youko looked downright pissed at someone dismissing his beauty. Kagome couldn't take it anymore, she burst out laughing and ran ahead of the two demons. She stopped a few yards away from them. "You two are so vain, its about time someone put you in your places." Kagome said, her giggling stopped when she saw the look in the two's eyes. She 'eeped' and took off running. Youko and Kuronue were hot on her trail, smirking the whole way.

A shadowed figure perched up high in a tree watched the game of tag with barely contained disgust. A look of lust tinted the youkai's eyes at the sight of the bat hanyou. Power lust. She had what he needed to rule these lands, and he was going to possess her, mind, body and soul whether she was willing or not. With one last look to the three, the demon faded into the leaves.

Kagome stopped mid run, her eyes quickly flashing to the tree just left of her. Youko crashed into her back at her sudden stop, causing her to fall forward with a surprised squeak.

"Get off of me," she said, the words mumbled by the ground.

Youko smirked, amusement filling him at the jealous waves pouring off his youkai friend. He chuckled. "No, that's quite all right. I find you rather comfortable." His ear twitched at the low growl that came from Kuronue's direction. Youko wondered if he even knew he was doing so.

Kagome whimpered, the weight of Youko's person on her back wasn't that bad, she could tell he wasn't putting his full weight on her, but the closeness of his body and how his deep chuckles vibrated though her where. "Come on, fox." she whined, normally she could have pushed him off, but all that running had drained her considerably, and on top of that she hadn't been getting much sleep lately. "You're frickin` heavy, and I would like to breath air not dirt." The tone of her voice must have been amusing to him, there was that sexy laugh of his. Kagome's face twisted in confusion, displeasure and jealousy was coming off of Kuronue's aura and practically choking her. With the last of her strength, she pushed up quickly while Youko was distracted with his laughter. He fell on his back, a look of shock painting his handsome face.

Kagome jumped up, spitting the dirt out of her mouth and dusting off her black kimono. She looked to Kuronue, who was glaring at Youko, who was now sitting upright Indian style with a perverted grin on his face.

"You know, instead of being jealous, you could have pulled him off of me!" Kagome shouted at him, gaining his attention.

"Hn, who's jealous?"

"You, you baka okinawa!"

"I was not, you ditzy onna! And stop calling me that!" pink was splashed on his cheeks, and his eyes had a irritated look in them.

"Yes you were, I could feel it in your aura. And Youko could too, that's why he was provoking you! And I'm not ditzy, damnit!" She shouted out, her hands fisted at her sides, a cute pout on her lips.

The pout caused Kuronue's attention to flicker to Kagome's lips. At that moment all he wanted to do was kiss her, but Youko's snicker reminded him that the kitsune was still present. Seeing him on top of her like that got his blood boiling. He knew he felt something for the bat hanyou, though what that 'somthing' was, he wasn't entirely sure of. But he did know that his partner was feeling the same thing, and that didn't sit well with him. With Youko provoking him like that only served to tick him off more. Their friendship had always been strong, no baka onna could ever get between them, they had never been worth it. But Kagome...he was sure she wouldn't like it if they started fighting over her, and was she really worth losing a longtime friendship over her. Something in the back of his mind said yes, and a part was already starting to morn the loss of a dear friend. And then something came to him, they could share her. It has been done before, if they would agree to it-- he shook his head, earning a look from his two companions, he was thinking to far ahead, he didn't even know if he had feelings for her.

Kagome looked to Kuronue confused, his eyes had long taken a glazed look and he was spacing out. Kagome bristled at that. He spacing out during and argument?! She growled and picked up a rock off the ground, Youko looked at her then, a grin spreading across his face. Kagome launched the rock, hitting Kuronue square in the face, knocking him out of his little world.

He blinked and rubbed his cheek where the rock had hit. "Ow." he muttered under his breath, casting a glare Kagome's way who shrugged it off.

"You shouldn't space out during a heated argument." she said, her eyes looking towards the sky.

"It wasn't heated." Kuronue stated, sitting down beside Youko.

"It could have been," Kagome mummer, the pout coming back full force. She looked down at them, "What are you doing?"

"Resting," chirped Youko, leaning back on the palms of his hands he looked to her lazily. "Your faster than you look."

Kagome crossed her arms over her chest, walking away from them toward a tree. "Keh, damn right." she said absently, her eyes still locked to the tree. She rubbed her arms, the feeling of her hair standing on it was distracting.

"What are you lookin` at?" Kuronue asked, confused by her actions.

Kagome dropped her arms and shrugged, turning around and plopping on the ground and leaning against said tree. "Nothin`."

He raised an eyebrow in a silent question, but said nothing. Her eyes flickered to Youko, who now seemed to be in deep thought himself. Kagome sighed and looked to the sky, it was getting darker, twilight was setting in and she needed to get home before her Father got suspicious. Too much longer and her would send Reimei out looking for her, and she didn't want to be questioned on why she was out in the woods, alone with two male youkai.

Kagome stood, her hands dusting off the dirt of her kimono. "I need to go," she started, looking at the two males who now had there eyes on her. "Dad will get worried if I stay gone to long, and its already twilight. It will be dark by the time I arrive at the village gate."

Kuronue and Youko nodded, standing up themselves. "We'll accompany you," Youko said, walking over to Kagome's side, quickly fallowed by Kuronue.

Kagome nodded, her feet already walking in the direction to home. One last look the clearings tree, and she walked off, Youko and Kuronue beside her.

But she just couldn't brush off the feeling of being watched.
