Kagome was walking home from the store. She had just bought some bandages for hertrip to the Feudal Era. She was walking through the park not caring that a gang battle was going right near her.
But a lot of people were gathering to watch who would win not noticing someone had a gun. She turned towatch for a secound.
In a tree not far from her Hiei was just sitting there waiting for the day to finish. He saw the gangs fightingand thought 'Stupid ningens and their pathetic ways of fighting' he continued to watch.
Both kept on watching. Kagome started to walk again but stopped at the tree Hiei was in.'That guy in the tree is a demon. Fire and ice apperition if Im correct, strange.' She kept on starring at him,he was wearing all black except a white sash across his forehead, a katana strapped to his waist, his hair wasalso black but stood straight up with a white star in it. But what cought Kagome the most were his ruby, red eyes.
'There's another eye under the sash. Whats that called again........um......oh yea a Jagon eye.'
Hiei felt somebody watching him and so he looked down and saw a girl.'Why is she just starring at me.Her aura is powerful but strange.' Hiei couldn't take his eyes of Kagome. She was wearing a tight red shirt with a blackdagon on it, with a black jacket over it, light blue caprees, black and red sneckers, midblack slightly wavey black hair,with a beautaful stormy blue/gray eyes.
They just kept on starring at each other till some one shouted " HEY GIRL MOVE!" then someoneran past her. Right after that someone with a gun shot it in Kagome's dirrection(bad aim). She was stunned still withshock she then she just waited for the impact to come but it never came. She landed on the floor with a 'thump'.
She turned to see the Hiei in front of her with his hands near his heart. He started to run into the forest but not at demon speed do to the lack of blood. Kagome ran after him. Hiei kept runing till he collapsed near a tree. Kagomesaw this happen an ran faster.
Once she got the Kagome carefully and slowly took of his cloak/shirt it was soaked with blood. She lookedat the wound as well as hir right arm to see it burned badly. She placed his head in her lap and put her hands on his chest over the wound. She dug deep within herself and started to useher healing powers. Slowly but surely both wounds started to heal.Hiei started to regain consiousness but not opening his eyes.

'Why did i have to save her she's just a worthless ningen. Hopefully no one followed me. I remember lookingat that Onna's face full with worry.' I start to feel very warm and open my eyes to see the onna from before. I feel my head isin her lap. I finally notice the blue glow around us. I finally ask "What are you doing?" She opens her eyes and does a slightsmile. "Repaying you for saving me. I'm healing all your wounds that inculuds your right arm" I lifted my arm ignoring thesoreness in my body.'How is it this Onna can heal my right arm with not the strongest ice apperitions and Botan could not' Then I put my hand down till she's done.
*Kagome's Pov*
Well I notice the guy I'm healing finally wake up. I'm glad to know he didn't loose to much blood or anything. I would've felt guilty knowing that he died saving me.

The blue light that engulfed them slowly disappeared. Then Kagome says "All your wounds are healed but I think your not going to move for about 15 minuets due to the loss of blood." Hiei just looks at her and then tries to get upput she pushes him back down. "Look I know your a demon an all but u still need to rest." Hiei reasponds " Onna im not weak and how do you know of demons?" Kagome couldnt help but giggle. Hiei raised an eyebrow and asked " What's so funny onna?" Kagome stops giggling and looks at him. "You remind me of and old friend and my names Kagome not onna." Since Hiei's head was still in her lap all he did was glare at her and "Hn." She smiled down at him then looked downat him and looks at her watch. " Well I'm sorry to have to leave you here like this but I think my friend is going to kill me because I'm sooo late." She took of her jacket folded it and placed it under his head. She was standing up and had her bagin hand, she looked down at Hiei.
"I hope to see you again sometime, even though you didnt give me your name but thatsyour business you don't have to tell me if you dont want to. Thanks again for saving me at your own expense. Just rememberyour less evil then you think. Bye Kage" Kagome bends down and gives him a kiss on the cheeck then left.

'I listen to her talk and say "Your less evil then you think" she doesnt even know me. I notice how she gave me thenickname Kage(means shadow). When she kissed me I was beyond shocked. I watch her leave. I still have her sent all aroundme she smells of Sakura blossems and vanilla.
*Kagome's Pov*
After I saw the schocked expression on his face after I gave him a kiss on the cheek I left. Once I was out of the forest I ran all the way home. I finally reached the top of my shrine and "Wench where have you been the suns almost down."Inuyasha yelled in my face
"SIT" I yealled back. Then he went head first into the ground. I walked past him into the house'I cant believe after everything he still calls me a wench he cant just say my name after almost 3 years. I came to find outInuyasha and I are more of best friends then anything but I dont want him to get hurt.' When I got in the house my Mom came running out.

"Hi Mom. Well a boy got shot and I healed him couse if i didnt heal him Id be dead."
"Oh my goodness is he alright?"
"Yea he should be leaving where I left him to heal now."
"Well thats good to news Kagome, but you cant go to the Feudal Era."
"What? Why? I mean why not?"
"Youll understand more tomorrow since its your 18th birthday. Ill talk to Inuyasha and tell him to come back later."
Suddenly Inuyasha comes inside the house. "Hurry up and pack wench so we can leave!" But before I can answer him my mom Akita says to him " Sorry Inuyasha, Kagome has to stay tomorrow is her birthday so come back later." He just looks at her and sees and argument would not win this so "Keh fine Ill be back tomorrow." With that said We all walk out to the well "Bye Inuyasha" both Akita and Kagome say then he jumps in the well. Akita goes to theside of the well looks in to make sure hes not there quickly she chants a spell to block anyone from using to well untill Kagomesstronger. A blue light blinds them for a secound then Kagome asks "Mom what was that?" Akitas turns around to face herdaughter then says "That was a spell so no one can use the well until you get stronger. Sesshomaru called and we contacted yourgrandmother Genkai you are going to be trainin with each of them for 6 months. You will be starting tomorrow and then youwill understand more." with thats Kagome was still confused but went inside to eat dinner and go to bed for she counldn't wait till tomorrow to know what was going on.

I waited 10 minuets after that onna left and found everything perfect. I stood up and looked at the black jacket she let me keep my head on. I picked it up and smelt it 'She smells good' I shake my head 'Why did I just think that?!'
Then I look at my cloak its cut and my blood is everywhere so I leave to Kuramas

Hiei entered Kuramas window to find him doing homework. Kurama has red hair, green emerald eyes,and was wearing a pink boys school uniform."Hello Hiei." Kurama said looking twords his window where Hiei is sitting on.
"Hn." Kurama then notices Hieis lack of cloak and the jacket he was holding. As well as the smell of blood,sakura blossems and vanilla??
"Hiei why is it you smell of blood,sakura blossems and vinilla? Wheres your cloak? Why do you have some girls jacket with you?"
"Hn. Some girl healed my arm and my cloak was soaked in blood, she left her jacket. Get me my cloak."
Kurama got up from his desk and went to his closet found Hieis cloak and threw it to him. "So what is she? No onehas been able to heal your right arm. Not even Botan or Yukina could heal it." Hiei just flexed his right arm."I dont know she left before I could ask.I asked her how she know about demons couse she knew I was one." Kurama looked in shock but then responded
"Do you know her name? Should we tell Koenma?"
"Kagome"
"She didn't give a last name?"
"No."
"I think tomorrow we should tell Koenma."
"Hn."
With that said and done Hiei went outside to sleep in a tree near the window and to think how Kagome could heal his arm. While Kurama just went to sleep.
