Kagome looked up from the book she was reading as she heard a tap at her window. Crimson red eyes stared at her and Kagome smiled. He was here.





She opened the window as a black blur raced into the room. Turning around she regarded the youkai in front of her.



“ Why, hello Hiei.” She drawled. “ I wasn’t expecting you here.” She laid down on her bed as he sat at the edge of it. Picking up the book she was reading she waited to see of he would respond or not.



“ Hn. The fox was busy.” She smiled at him and gave her attention back to the book she was reading. They stayed in comfortable silence for a while before Kagome put her book down with a sigh. She had finished it.




She looked up at the youkai at the end of her bed before standing. “ Would you like some ice cream, Hiei? I can go downstairs and get some.” The stoic youkai nodded and Kagome laughed before heading towards her door. “ I’ll be right back.”




Hiei watched her go, contemplating the young miko. She was Yusuke’s cousin and they had known each other for a few months now. And over those months they had become closer then he ever anticipated. She was unique, special, and he came aware that he was attracted to her.




It happened when he walked in on her having a dream. It was by accident and he wasn’t expecting it but when he smelled her arousal he quickly ran to the nearest Makai opening and killed any youkai he could find. After much contemplation he had finally decided that she was to be his mate. But first he had to ask her.




As Kagome walked down to the kitchen she breathed a sigh of relief. One more minute in there and she would have let it out. She walked into the kitchen and closed her eyes in sadness before letting one tear drop. She wasn’t going to cry. She had promised herself that and she was going to upheld that promise. Kagome sighed again. But sometimes it was just to much.




She took put the vanilla ice cream from the fridge and a bowl from the cupboard. Kagome wasn’t going to lie to herself. She had known it for a long time now. She was in love with Hiei. But she was afraid of the rejection she was sure he’d give. Just like Inuyasha did. But how long was she to take it?




Hiei looked up as the door to Kagome’s room opened and the girl herself stepped through. She gave him a smile as she handed him his bowl of ice cream and stepped back. “ I’ll be going to sleep now Hiei. Your welcoming to stay if you like.” She reached her drawer and pulled out a big t-shirt. “ I’m just getting ready for bed.” She walked over to the adjoining bathroom at her side and stepped through closing the door behind her.




He heard the sound of running water and clothes slipping off. His eyes were slightly tinted red as he imagined what he could not see. His bowl of ice cream began dispersing as he listened to the sounds of the running water and soon an empty bowl was on Kagome’s vacancy table. By this time the water had stopped.




Kagome rung out the water in her hair before drying it with her towel. Her wet body was shivering as it was used to the heat of the hot water. She tied the towel more securely to her body and pulled her hair out of her eyes. She brushed her teeth and put on her deodorant before putting on the shirt that she had gotten for sleep. Was Hiei still out there?




Hiei slightly cracked an eye open when he heard the bathroom door open and shut. Kagome stepped out smiling at him and ran a hand through her raven colored hair. It became aware to Hiei that this was his first time seeing it out of it’s usual braid. “ Hn, I’ll stay.” Kagome smiled at him again before climbing into her bed that Hiei was still sitting on.




“ That’s fine, Hiei. I’ll probably need someone to protect me over the night. Who knows what type of youkai will attack.” Her eyes took on a teasing note and he brushed it off with his usual “Hn”. Kagome giggled. “ Good night Hiei.”




“ Hn.”




Kagome giggled again before settling down on her pillow. She closed her eyes and drifted off into the world of nightmares and dreams.




Hiei was still watching her. It had been an hour since she fell asleep and she was whimpering. He didn’t know what to do so he tried waking her up. But it did no good as she only latched onto his arm. So he called out her name still shaking her prone figure.




Then her blue eyes flew open and she launched herself at Hiei. He was to shocked to try to take her off and only wrapped his hands around her small body. She was breathing hard and tried to stop the tears from falling down her face. Hiei closed his eyes and leaned against the wall, still cradling her small body to his.




“ What happened, Kagome?,” he asked after a few minutes of silence. She was still clutching his body as if he was the only life line she had left. It took a few minutes before she actually answered him and it was in a mere whisper.




“ I had a nightmare of their deaths.” She clutched him tighter and buried her face into his chest. Breathing in his scent of Pine and maple calmed her racing nerves plus she knew she wouldn’t get an opportunity like this again. She shifted and looked at his beautiful crimson eyes only to find that they were closed and he was breathing hard. She frowned and turned so she was straddling him and watched his face closely. What was wrong with him?




Hiei fought to keep his instincts in check as his breathing became labored . He was supposed to be focusing on her nightmares. But she wasn’t letting him do that. She shifted again and he could feel his groin getting harder. And now she was straddling him. His eyes flew open. And now was the time to make her his.




Kagome gasped as those crimson orbs she had come to love so much flew open; lust was easily visible. And it was directed towards her. But before she could do anything about it his hot, wet mouth came crashing down on hers. Her eyes went wide with surprise but slowly closed as she returned the heated kiss. His teeth bit her bottom lip drawing blood before healing it with his youkai saliva. He brought it into his mouth, sucking it as Kagome’s moan reached his ears. He held her tighter as the kiss became more desperate.




His tongue licked her lips asking for entrance which she immediately complied to. Hiei smirked against her lips. As his tongue dove into her mouth he found that it was the sweetest thing he’d ever tasted. More so then sweet snow. He explored everywhere he could reach and held her tighter against him, satisfied when a gasp escaped from her mouth. Her tongue hesitantly touched his own before drawing back. He smirked again.




Kagome melted against him as she felt his arousal pushing up against her womanhood. He was so hard! Her hands lifted up and around his neck as his ran through her hair. She moaned again. This was the best kiss she had ever had. When the loss of air began to catch up with both of them they reluctantly pulled back both panting. But Hiei didn’t waste anytime as his lips descended onto her neck and sucked on it mercilessly. Kagome’s neck arched and she moaned again.




Hiei pushed her back onto the bed and kissed her again with him laying partly on top of her with his arms holding him up. Kagome wrapped her legs around his waist rubbing her wet clit over his bulging erection. Hiei’s eyes widened as his arms came tumbling down and his body was flush against hers. He could feel her hardened nipples and he unconsciously groaned against her mouth. He stopped kissing her as he sat up to straddle her before rubbing his erection over her clit over and over. Kagome arched her back and cried out Hiei’s name in bliss.




Hiei slipped off his shirt and coat as Kagome was distracted. Then he sat her up as her and quickly took off her shirt smirking when her perky, round mounds came into view. She blushed and tried to cover up but Hiei took her hands away and guided them to his own chiseled chest letting them run up and over them. She was of course fascinated. She had never felt anything like it before. But her eyes flew up when she felt a Hiei’s hot mouth on her right breast. The other breast was being tortured by his other hand. Kagome closed her eyes and cried his name out again.
