Dusk was well underway as Kouga and the others approached Masakazu's lair. The Crow himself had rejoined them only a few minutes after having departed, citing there was a problem that had required his direct attention. Kouga thought it was suspicious but there wasn't anything that he could say about it. He himself knew that problems popped up frequently when you led a group of any decent size. As they continued on, Kouga could feel a barrier of sorts surrounding the area, he was certain that they were near the lair's entrance. His theory was indeed confirmed when they approached the well concealed doorway.

'This must be how he can keep Kagome a secret from the Reikai.' It made sense, if she had been here even half as long as Kisho had indicated then Koenma would have picked up on her energy already and had her out of there. Without showing any of the uneasiness that he was feeling Kouga followed the demons into the cavern, wary of his surroundings. Immediately upon entering he was assaulted with her smell although he could tell it had been a long time since she had passed through this particular area.

"Welcome to my sanctuary Kouga. Please, make yourself at home." Masakazu smiled warmly as he gestured to a plush chair before taking his own seat. Looking up he noticed that the others had departed with the exception of Kisho who appeared to be busying himself yet remaining well within conversation range. "Kisho
, go get us some wine if you would. It is time to drink to the arrival of the newest member of our clan." With a wave of his hand Kisho immediately exited the room to do as Masakazu had ordered. "I do hope you will enjoy what little hospitality we have to offer Kouga."

Kouga was unsure of what to make of this kindness. Was he being openly embraced? Somehow it felt as if he were a lamb being escorted to the slaughterhouse. The new environment tipped the odds heavily to Masakazu's favor should it come down to a battle. He knew that she was close, he could smell her and her fear hung
in the air as if it were a thick blanket. He couldn't risk attacking, it would be for the best if he could convince Masakazu that he had no desire to take her from him. Then perhaps they could sneak off in the dead of night.

Not for the first time he wished that he had some sort of help, playing the waiting game was never one of his strong points. This sort of game was more suited to Sesshoumaru, but then again if the Taiyoukai was here instead he was sure Masakazu wouldn't have stood a chance. The Western Lord would have simply walked out of there with her, killing anyone who stood in his way. Kouga soon found that concentrating was becoming more difficult as time wore on, he half-heartedly listened to the conversation Masakazu was indulging in. He wanted to see her, no, he needed to see her and reassure himself that she was indeed alright. It had been far too long since he had last been able to speak to her, he needed to let her know he was here and that he would make sure that she would be alright.

Masakazu noticed his waning interest but decided against saying anything. The
Wolf being distracted was a good thing, it would be easier to take him off guard when the time came. He decided to further throw him off balance, perhaps a tour of the lair would accomplish just that. "May I show you to your room while we wait for the wine?"

The question jarred Kouga back into remembering what he was supposed to be doing. He leapt at the opportunity to be shown around, there was every possibility Masakazu would take him to see her that much sooner. "Sure, why not." He wasn't about to question his good fortune at the moment.

Masakazu nodded and stood, beckoning Kouga to follow behind him. They made their way down a stone corridor and stopped at one of the many heavy oak doors. "This will be your new home Kouga, if you choose to stay here with us."

Unspoken was the knowledge but Kouga knew well enough, if he did not accept their offer now that they had granted him admittance into their lair his life would be forfeit. The door creaked open, revealing it's contents. A simple futon was in the far corner of the room on the floor and a small table sat in the opposite corner. A plain chest was contained inside, no doubt to hold whatever belongings he decided to bring with him. The room was spotless, as if it hadn't been occupied in a very long time. It was meager living conditions but livable. He didn't intend on staying for long.

Masakazu walked in with Kouga following at a discreet distance behind him. He had heard the faint sounds of whimpering coming from the room directly across from his. It was barely
noticeable as were the sounds of material moving, as if someone were getting out of bed. He watched as Masakazu opened up the trunk, not caring in the least that it was empty except for two worn blankets. "You may keep your stuff in here if you wish."

Kouga nodded and placed the small traveling pack inside. To refuse would give an indication that either he did not trust them not to steal his things or that he didn't intend on staying. Neither one would help him at this point and time. Once that was accomplished Masakazu continued on with the tour, showing him the kitchen area.
"By all means Kouga whatever makes you most comfortable. I am sure the wine is ready. Shall we go back?

Kouga eyed the room once more before before closing the door that was going to be his. So far everything was exactly what Kisho and Masakazu had said it would be. He could not feel or smell nothing out of the ordinary besides the overwhelming scent of
Kagome's fear. He sighed wearily which could easily be passed off from traveling if anyone decided to question it. Without sparing the room another glance he followed Masakazu back into the entrance chamber and took the seat that he had previously occupied. There on the table sat two flasks of wine along with a metal plate that contained various cheeses with bread. Three intricate Goblets adorned a separate serving tray waiting to be filled.

Kouga watched as Masakazu poured the wine himself into each cup. A very uneasy feeling washed over him as the
Crow handing him his drink. However Masakazu noticed this immediately. "Is there something wrong Kouga? If it would make you feel any better you can have mine if you wish."

Kouga hesitated once more. To accept his offer would be insulting his new “leader” but to deny it left a hollow feeling in the pit of his stomach. The wine was all poured from the same bottle so he had little concern that it was poisoned. The goblets themselves on the other hand worried him. He decided it was better to be safe than sorry and took a chance. "If it is alright with you, I believe I will take Kisho's instead." To his amazement it didn't seem to bother either Masakazu or Kisho at all.

Instead Masakazu merely smirked, his voice held barely contained amusement."I like a demon that is cautious. It shows character and the ability to think for one's self." The goblets exchanged hands and Kouga began to feel just a bit more confident with the situation that he had found himself in.

Masakazu raised his glass to the other two occupants in the room. "A toast to our new member." He winked at Kouga, a smile gracing his features. "Possibly." After all, the Wolf had not given them his decision as of yet, not that he would be leaving regardless. It merely kept up appearances for the time being.

Kouga made certain that he was the last one to drink from his cup before placing the metal rim to his lips. The wine tasted exquisite on his palate, the quality of the wine was quite good but he wasn't surprised. Masakazu was known for his desire of obtaining the finer things in life by any means necessary. He slowly drank from his cup, savoring it while waiting to see if there were any affects. Gradually he began to relax, his cup being refilled multiple times as the hours passed. Conversation became over rated and they fell into a comfortable silence content to pass the time. Eventually however the wine was gone and most of the food had been devoured as well.

It didn't take long before Kisho excused himself leaving Kouga alone with Masakazu. Kouga himself was becoming ready to seek out the futon that had been offered to him earlier that evening when Masakazu cleared his throat to gain his attention. “You mentioned before that you wished to see my play toy before we discussed a price for her. If you would like we can take care of that now and begin negotiations."

Kouga's attention snapped to the Crow immediately. This was the opportunity that he had been waiting for, he had a driving need to see her that would not be put off to the morning. He just hoped that the few slight affects of intoxication that he was feeling would wear off quickly. He nodded, trying not to look too anxious. He desperately wanted to be free of the confines of this stone lair but he refused to leave without her. The sooner he got through this the sooner they would be back at his own lair. From their his pack would tend to Kagome's needs. "Yes I would Masakazu. If she is anything like you have stated she will do nicely for my desires." He carefully schooled his expression into one of desire, recalling how she looked the very first time he saw her.

"She is extremely valuable to me Kouga, even with the possibility of sharing. The price may be too high for even you but we shall see. First you must see her in order to make a decision." Masakazu stood and Kouga followed him, exiting out of the chamber the same way they had come from his room. They paused at a door close to his own, Kouga could only guess that this door lead to Masakazu's personal chambers. It was where her scent emanated from the strongest and he knew that she was just beyond the other side of the door.

His body felt strangely sluggish but he could not pinpoint anything wrong, it felt remarkably like he usually did whenever he became intoxicated so he dismissed the feeling. He began to regret his decision to drink so much with the stakes so high but he couldn't have afforded to insult the Crow. He only hoped that if it came to a fight Masakazu was just as drunk as he was.

Masakazu slowly opened the door and Kouga finally made eye contact with Kagome. He stifled a growl at seeing her chained to the bed and the faint remnant's of bruising that covered her face. Masakazu had obviously wanted her to be made presentable for his visit for she was laying upon silk sheets and her scent was marred with perfume. The gown she was wearing displayed an indecent amount of skin under any conditions, had this been under different circumstances he would have found such a sight desirable but this was Kagome. A long time friend who had asked for nothing more than friendship and she was being treated worse than most slaves in the Makai. Kouga took an involuntary step forward, unable to help himself. His heart clenched at the fear that he saw lurking in her eyes as she tried to determine who had entered the room. That step took him into the light and her expression flooded with recognition.

There was no longer any question in her mind about who this guest was that Masakazu had brought to see her. For the faintest of moments hope sprung up in her chest, Kouga was there and he would free her from this prison. But it didn't take long for that hope to be replaced by fear. Would Kouga be able to kill Masakazu or did he have some other plan? She didn't think that he would take advantage of her, she had known him a long time but she no longer held the trust for people that she once had. Midoriko had destroyed that part of her, no longer would she take things as they were presented to her. Anyone could have an ulterior motive, anyone could turn on you. The only one above that possibility in her mind was Hiei. He was the only one who could possibly understand, he would never betray her.

Masakazu noticed the changes in her expression as well as the ones in the
Wolf. He somehow wasn't terribly surprised to see that they knew of each other, it only confirmed what he had thought before. It explained why the Wolf had begun asking about her in the first place. If they were friends then this was going to be even more enjoyable, he would use this to further bend the girl to his will. Then they could get about the business of finding what had changed within the prophecy and grant his ascension to power.

"She is quite beautiful, she'd suit my needs. I'll take her, name your price." Kouga leaned against the wall trying to look nonchalant but the lethargy was beginning to become worse and it was seriously bothering him. He tried to keep himself steady, if this was just the affects of the alcohol then he needed to conclude this quickly and go sleep the wine off. If it was the result of something else he was in trouble and he knew it.

"You aren't looking well Kouga. Would you like to conclude this another time?" Masakazu was barely able to keep the sarcasm out of his voice, just a few more minutes and the wine will have done it's job perfectly.

Kouga was making a decent attempt at playing the affects of the drug off as he pushed himself off of the wall and walked over to Kagome unaware that he was only hastening the drugs affects with his continued movement. "No, I would like to finish this now. Name your price."

Masakazu walked up behind Kouga and laid an elegant hand on his shoulder noticing the way the
Wolf failed to tense at his touch. It was time, Kouga would learn the folly of attempting to interfere in his plans. "As would I you stupid fuck. The price I demand is your blood."

Masakazu shoved him roughly to the side smiling as his body connected with the wall. Kouga tried to ca
tch himself as he connected with the ground but failed. It was as if his limbs were no longer there, what little control he had over them only manifested itself in slight muscle twitches. He glared hatefully at the crow that was now standing over him. "You see Kouga I know you knew my bitch and now she will pay for you coming, as will you."

Kouga knew he was in trouble and there was a good possibility he wouldn't make it out of this alive. He was completely defenseless, he had been as careful as he possibly could and he still failed her. With great effort he managed to speak. "How? What did you... do to me?”

Masakazu took a seat on the bed grinning as Kagome moved as far away from him as her bonds would allow. She didn't dare voice a protest, not when Kouga's life hung in the balance. "You stupid fuck. You had no idea that I was leading you all along and you followed like a good little puppy. Are you sure you're a wolf boy? Such behavior is more suited to a dog.”

He watched with amusement as the glare from Kouga darkened even further at the insult. “There was a drug in your cup and you never knew it. Truthfully it was each of the cups, it wouldn't matter which of them you chose but never fear. It will not kill you, this drug merely relaxes the body and with the amount you consumed it's no wonder your body is no longer able to move." The evil glint had returned to Masakazu's eyes as he explained exactly how Kouga had fallen into his trap. "You see, I have grown a tolerance to this drug from prolonged usage and Kisho is now in bed sleeping the effects off."

Masakazu's laugh filled the room which caused Kagome to close her eyes. She knew that laugh and what it signified, she couldn't watch what was to happen. The Crow stood and removed his coat, not wanting to get it covered in blood. He'd much rather feel it gliding along his skin if he was to be covered. Kouga watched helplessly as he approached and viciously brought the heel of his boot down onto his face. Pain lanced through him as he felt his nose and cheekbone shatter under the impact but he refused to cry out. He had endured far worse before and he wouldn't give the Crow the satisfaction of hearing him scream this early.

Blood flowed freely onto the floor as Kouga continued to fight the drug's effects in vain. "Oh trust me Kouga I know that you can feel the pain even if you cannot move. I promise you before I am finished you will be screaming." As if to prove his point he swiftly kicked Kouga in the ribs effectively knocking the air from his lungs. Without giving him the time to recover Masakazu roughly hauled him up off the ground and threw him into a chair opposite the bed and proceeded to remove his dagger from it's sheath. The blade shown like a mirror in the firelight as he brought the blade closer to Kouga's face. "I can't have you not watch the show Kouga, you are my guest of honor after all. Do not close your eyes or I will remove your ability to do so." He gently ran the tip along his eyelids as if to illustrate his point before turning back to Kagome who was watching with horror. "Your savior is now helpless my dear. He was a fool for coming to save you, know that any others that attempt this will meet the same fate. All hope for you is gone."

Ryuji entered the room as if he had been summoned silently by Masakazu and he quickly took in the view of his surroundings. Whatever was to happen tonight was clearly out of his hands. There would be a lot more blood spilled on this night and he had no doubts that it would end in the death of someone tonight, most likely this strangers and possibly the girls. Masakazu nodded towards Kouga and the
Dragon immediately knew what it was that needed to be done. Without question he picked up the immobile wolf demon and carried him from the room. His weight was troublesome but manageable, it didn't take him long to arrive at the room where he had brought Hiei earlier. The Fire Apparition looked up upon hearing the door opening, half fearing that it was Kagome they were bringing in. He relaxed ever so slightly upon seeing that it was a stranger but one wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway, his arms were stretched painfully tight as he hung from the chains that bound him to the wall.

Ryuji walked past the stone alter and shackled his burden just out of touching distance from Hiei before leaving to retrieve the girl. The Dragon had no wish to be a part of this little play session that Masakazu was planning but he knew he was not likely to have a choice in the matter. He had grown tired of watching Masakazu's tirades and he had no use for the girl except for her survival which in itself was debatable. He only had the Seer's word that the girl was still important, it remained to be seen whether or not it was true. Re-entering the bedroom he quickly unshackled Kagome and tossed her over his shoulder making his way back to the alter room. Masakazu followed closely behind as he watched the way the girl hung limply as if resigned to her fate. Ryuji began to strip the silk garment from her body but stopped when Masakazu shook his head, this was one pleasure the Crow was going to enjoy for himself. Shrugging he made his way to leave Masakazu to his fun when the Crow demanded that he stay.

"I need you there Ryuji. You are responsible for keeping her alive, she will survive this only with your help. Her friend will be forced to watch her degradation and will come to know exactly what her place is here." Masakazu scanned the room and approached Hiei, he had yet to really speak to the smaller demon since he had learned he survived the encounter. "If you cross me once more Shadow I promise you that the Seer will not be able to find enough pieces of your body to bring you back a second time." His clawed fingers ran down Hiei's cheek drawing blood. Without warning Hiei spit in Masakazu's face giving him an answer to his threat. Masakazu wiped the spit off of his face before smiling and driving an elbow into the
Fire Apparition's ribs.

Hiei winced under the impact but other than that did not move. The gaping wound from the previous night had been healed but his ribs were still extremely sensitive to pressure and he had no option to move to ease the pain. He was helpless, just like Kouga and Kagome. All any of them could do was wait and see terror was about to unfold before them. Masakazu gripped his chin tightly and stared hard at him. "As I said before Shadow we are a long way from being finished. A very long way, remember that."

Silently he cursed the bastard. 'She had better live through this you sick fuck or there will not be any place in the three realms that you can hide from my wrath.' He locked eyes with the girl and silently told her to be strong, they would survive this. They had to.

Masakazu noticed his stare and grinned, running his fingers through Hiei's hair. "Isn't my whore lovely Shadow? Don't think that your interest in her has escaped me." Hiei jerked his head to the side determined to rid himself of the Crow's touch. Masakazu was not going to tolerate his rebellion however and forcibly slammed Hiei's head into the jagged stone wall behind him with a sickening thud.

Confident that he made his point Masakazu then slowly walked over to Kagome and viciously kissed her proclaiming his ownership once more in front of his audience while running a claw down the side of her dress, the sounds of tearing fabric filling the room. Kagome struggled against his touch but it was useless. "Is this what you came to see Kouga? How often have you dreamed of this woman naked? She is quite lovely why didn't you take her before she came into my possession?"

Masakazu knew he wasn't likely to get an answer and when Kouga managed to turn his head slightly he fisted one hand in her hair drawing a gasp which gained his attention once more. Without provocation he balled up his other fist and struck her repeatedly in the face breaking her nose and cheekbones. Blood flowed like wine from her nose and mouth, quickly turning her hair into a slick mass of red. Kouga noticeably winced but held back his cry knowing it would make no difference except to perhaps make her torment worse. Admiring his handiwork for a moment he began to tug on the rags that covered her body revealing smooth skin.

Ryuji stepped forward quickly and began to heal the damage that was already done, it would be near impossible to keep her alive if she lost too much blood and Masakazu would not tolerate failure. He also knew that the Seer had cast a spell on the girl but how powerful it was he did not know. Too little interference and they would lose her, it was better to err on the safe side.

As Ryuji did his job Masakazu's hands roughly went to work on her chest scratching and cutting. Once perfect skin quickly became a mess that would most likely scar no matter how much healing was granted to her. Kagome cried out in pain and fear as Masakazu brought his lips to the exposed flesh before him. He lapped at the blood on her chest before biting hard on a nipple. The Crow glanced over at Kouga who was struggling as hard as he could to no effect as he lapped at the blood on Kagome's breast. "Tell me Wolf, what is her name?"

"I have never seen her before." Kouga still tried to maintain he didn't know he though Masakazu knew better. The girl would be the one to pay for the wolf's insolence.

Kagome tried to brace herself for the impact as Masakazu began assaulting her face once again. Blood coated his hands and blood dripped from her mouth each time she exhaled. She wished she could sink in oblivion, there was no telling when he would be finished and the pain was unbearable even though Ryuji had begun healing her once more. Her glazed eyes staring at nothing as she tried to make herself unfeeling even as the back of her head cracked against the stone with each impact.

"I have all night to play these games Kouga. If you continue to lie to me she will be the one to suffer." He straddled Kagome's chest and looked at Kouga ignoring the death glare he was getting from his other prisoner. "I ask once again. What is her name?" To emphasize his point he brought his elbow down sharply on her throat. Her mouth opened as she tried to gasp for air and found that she couldn't. Ryuji began to heal her once more but stopped when Masakazu placed a hand on his arm. He waited, smiling as the girl struggled against her chains as she fought for air. Her windpipe was crushed and she was slowly suffocating. Hiei and Kouga could only watch in horror as her skin took on a horrible shade of purple before the Crow finally gave Ryuji permission to heal her. A few more moments and she would have asphyxiated. Hiei wasn't certain how the spell would have countered such a thing but it was something he never hoped to find out. If Ryuji hadn't been there death would have likely claimed the girl. Masakazu looked pointedly at Kouga, there was no need to repeat the question.

"I am here for my own human girl." His voice faltered as he looked at Kagome's face taut with suffering.

"And it had to be mine
, boy?" The Crow leapt from his resting spot to stand in front of Kouga. His hand shot out and the claws embedded themselves deeply into the muscle of Kouga's chest. He received only silence from the captive demon which was no surprise to Masakazu. He would of been disappointed if it was over that soon. His fist came down sharply against Kouga's collarbone snapping it instantly. The manacles on his wrists bit deeply into his skin, the blood trickling down his arms as the result of the impact. The strain of the blow was too much abuse for them to take.

"What of you? Shadow do you know her name? Speak now and I'll lessen your punishment for earlier." The bright gleam in his eyes revealed just how much he was enjoying the nights events. Hiei refused to even acknowledge the Crow, bringing him face to face with Masakazu once again. "I might not be able to kill you right now but I can make you pray for death little one." Masakazu retrieved his knife from his boot and made numerous deep incisions into Hiei's chest and stomach . "I should gut you like a fucking pig, boy." Not gaining the desired reaction he replaced the blade by his belt and grabbed the Apparition's wrist, slamming it repeatedly into the stone wall behind him. Masakazu smiled as he felt the slender bones in his hand give way with a sickening crack. Hiei bite his lip against the pain as the process was repeated with his other arm. Masakazu let him go and stepped back to admire his work. Hiei resisted the urge to black out as he hung from his broken wrists, he didn't even have the relief of having part of his weight on the ground, Masakazu had seen to it that he was chained high enough that he could not touch the floor.

Kagome tried to look away from the torture Hiei was suffering but couldn't her head hurt too much to move even though she could feel the warming sensation of healing washing over her. Was it the protection spell or Ryuji? It didn't matter to her, she wished she had neither at that point, at least then perhaps she would be unconscious. Sadly though she couldn't and neither Hiei nor Kouga had any protection. She felt guilty for wishing such a thing for herself. She was on the verge of giving the
Crow her name just to get it to stop. The Jewel was gone, knowing that she was once it's guardian would make no difference right? Before she could however Masakazu left the room, clearly displeased at the lack of information he had been able to retrieve so far. They all knew however that it was far from over, he would return. Time was completely on his side and Kagome knew that. When Masakazu came back he was carrying a flask of wine and grinning ear to ear. The eerie look on his face made her shudder, wondering exactly what he was up to.

"Now that I can be more comfortable, shall we try this once again? Anyone who wants leniency can tell me. What is her name?" His eyes went back and forth to Kouga and Hiei. The shear contempt on Hiei's face plainly told him that he would be of no further use to him when it came to answers although Masakazu was not totally sure that he even knew anything to begin with. They had only been together for a short time and it was improbabl
e for the girl to open up to him right away. Kouga on the other hand struggled to not look into his eyes. "Well Kouga?"

"Her name is---" Kouga knew that he was doomed, they all were really. Perhaps if he answered their deaths would be quick, he'd give her that if he could.

"Shut the fuck up you piece of shit wolf!" Hiei's emotional outburst took everyone by surprise including Kagome. He knew that piece of information would only lead to more torture sessions like this for her as he tried to get the
Jewel from her. It wouldn't matter that the Jewel was powerless, he would still try and when she failed to produce results she would suffer. Hiei's murderous gaze had found it's mark and for once it was not on Masakazu.

"I didn't hear that Kouga. Care to repeat it?" Masakazu knew that he had won though he did not understand the vicious tone of Hiei's voice when addressing Kouga, it was something he would have to ponder on at a later time.

"Don't you fucking dare tell him anything about her!” Hiei was furious, if this strange demon knew the girl and cared for her at all he should have kept his mouth shut. Instead he jeopardized her further. If it were up to him he'd gut the
Wolf where he stood just to insure that Masakazu did not get the information he desired.

Masakazu had enough of his interference, moving quickly he stood before Hiei and the bottle struck him in the face, shattering glass and wine flew everywhere. "Hold your tongue or I will remove it. Now where were we Kouga?"

A silence fell on the room as Kouga defiantly stared into Masakazu's eyes. If this other demon was that set on the
Crow not learning of who she was there had to be a reason. Masakazu could see the rebellion in his eyes. "You think you have beat me Kouga and that maybe I should just let you go now because you bested me. You stupid fuck. I have all night and plenty of pain to go around."

Masakazu approached Kagome still with the broken bottleneck in hand. He forcibly spread Kagome's thighs apart exposing her sex and her possession ring. "I grow tired of these games." He made sure he had Kouga's full attention before he viciously thrust the broken bottle deep inside inner sanctum. Shards of glass broke off embedding deep within the tissue. Kagome's scream of pain was heartbreaking as he slowly he began to twist the bottle, carving her up from the inside out. She convulsed as he removed the bottle only to shove it roughly back in, her folds brutally cut under the pressure. Blood poured from her body coating his hand and dripping onto the floor and his boots. "It never had to be this way Kouga, but to tell you the truth I am glad it did." Masakazu's chuckle was barely heard over the sound of Kagome hyperventilating. Once more he removed the bottle, standing between her legs. "She looks good enough to fuck right now."

"No! Leave her the fuck alone!” Kouga's order fell on deaf ears, Masakazu was not about to be denied his pleasure.

"You wanted to be silent earlier, now I don't want to hear you at all." Masakazu unsheathed his dagger as he walked over to Kouga. A quick blow to his face and Kouga's jaw was shattered. Gripping his face tightly he gripped the
Wolf's tongue pulling it out. He wasted no time as he impaled the muscle with the blade and ripped it down his tongue until it was completely split. "You've had your chance to speak, Wolf."

Masakazu turned to Hiei. "You have been quiet Shadow. I didn't know you even cared about her. Pity, that would have been a secret worth keeping." His clawed hands went Hiei's crotch. "Is this arousing you? Would you like to take a turn with her now? Say yes and I will have Ryuji heal your wounds so you can participate." Masakazu's fist tightened but still he refused to respond. There was no way in hell he would accept the Crow's offer. "Eventually you will learn how to use this, unless of course you want to remain the bitch all of your life. That's also assuming I let you keep it."

Masakazu dropped his prize and made his way back to Kagome, shedding his clothing along the way. Fully naked he stood between her thighs, his erection jutting proudly between them. "I hope all this trouble was worth it to you wench. Your savior will now get to watch how good of a whore you have become." He forced his fingers inside her, ruthlessly searching for any remaining glass fragments. Her tender flesh tore further as he drove his hand deep inside her. Pleased as to not find any glass he positioned himself at her entrance and viciously thrust forward. Her blood made an excellent lubricant, her wounds tearing further as he pounded into her limp body. That final act was too much for her to handle, she lost consciousness only to have Ryuji drag her from the depths once again. The
rhythmic thrusting was excruciating, she couldn't stop the scream from escaping her lips although her throat was already raw from use. "That's it, scream for me bitch!"

With a final thrust that wrenched another heartbreaking cry from her Masakazu poured his seed into her body. Kagome shuddered with relief as he withdrew, desperately hoping that it was over. She flinched as he leaned close to her ear, his breath hitting her neck. "I give you a gift my dear, for providing me such pleasure. It is your choice, who should I kill? I will release one and kill the other, you only have to choose."

Shock filled Kagome as she processed what he was saying to her. As if the entire ordeal she had just been a part of was not enough, now she was being forced to play
God. Once more she was placed in an impossible situation, she would have wept had her tears not long since dried out. How could she possibly choose one over the other?

Masakazu waited for her answer even as he directed Ryuji to tend to her wounds once more. She wished there was a way for her to get out of making this decision. Hiei was the only one who had shown her compassion since her arrival while Kouga was a link to the past. A good friend who had helped her repeatedly. How could she possibly choose between the two? Hiei had blessedly fallen into unconsciousness and Kouga could only stare at her in disbelief.

“I will kill them both if you do not answer me bitch. Do not spurn my gift or they both shall die." Masakazu waited once more as Kagome's mouth slowly moved. He learned closer towards her in order to hear the whispered name. Kagome's spirit finally shattered into a million pieces as she slowly whispered Kouga's name, sealing his fate. She had no choice, she needed Hiei just as badly as he needed her.

Masakazu nodded once and straightened slowly. Her choice was made and the decision was final. He stalked up to Kouga who still had not looked away from Kagome, unable to believe that she had chosen him to be the one to die. He barely felt the bite of the blade as Masakazu viciously dragged the steel through his skin, slicing through muscle and bone. With a labored tug Kouga's head was now in Masakazu's hands, the bright blue eyes staring blankly. Kagome stared ahead, vaguely aware of her surroundings as Masakazu walked up to her. Her head turned towards him as he placed the severed head on her chest so that his accusing eyes could stare at her in death.

She couldn't look away, guilt was already flooding her at what she had done. She no longer deserved saving, she would die in this place eventually and she couldn't wait for the day to come. She prayed it would end quickly as she whispered, praying somehow that Kouga's spirit could hear her. “I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.”
Masakazu's smile filled the room, the wench was finally broken. He had seen her spirit shatter, she would no longer give him trouble. He would now be able to do with her as he pleased and soon all the power he sought would be in his hands. "Ryuji heal her and take her back to the cage. Place Shadow in with her, they can keep each other company again until I have need for them.”
