No! This can't be happening. Kagome watched in Horror as her miko powers flared out of control. I can't control them! I can't go to the feudal era like this. I could hurt Shippo.

A that exact moment she felt a surge of power, looking slightly to her left she watched in amazement as a portal opened up. As four young teenage boys walked through, one thought sprang to her mind. Stay back I don't want to hurt you! "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! Yusuke! Help me." With that she passed out.

Minutes earlier

"What do you want toddler! Oh man, Keiko's going to kill me." He glanced at his watch, wincing at the though of the beating he would receive when he got home.

"Did you have a date or something Yurameshi?" The ever-dense Kuwabara asked.

"Not a date exactly. Today we were supposed to be moving in together." Yusuke replied.

"Now is not the time to be discussing this. We have a serious problem on our hands." Koenma (Toddler) looked from Yusuke and Kuwabara to Hiei and Kurama. "The last miko on the entire planet can't control her miko powers. If we can't find her and help her learn to control them then the entire planet will be destroyed. If I allow the planet to be destroyed my father will kill me." He said wistfully. "So you have to find her. Botan open a portal to the Higashi Shrine." At his last phrase Yusuke's head snapped around

As the portal opened Yusuke rushed through it only to be thrown back by Kagome's wild powers.

"Yusuke! Help me." He looked at the girl as she collapsed.

"Kagome!" He rushed towards her fallen body. They were shocked that this arrogant punk could know this sweet girl. "I'm coming sis, please be alright. This shocked the group even more. None of them knew that Yusuke had a sister let alone a miko relative at all. They ran towards the fallen girl.

"She'll be fine Yusuke. Her powers have been drained." Kurama told the stricken spirit detective.

"Wow Yurameshi, your sister is pretty." Yusuke didn't respond to Kuwabara's question. He was panicking over the pale shivering body of Kagome Higashi.

"We need to get her to Genkai so she can be trained." Kurama lightly touched Yusuke's shoulder, "Call Botan have her make a portal. Hiei and myself will stay here. I sense a rather odd power emanating from that old well house. We shall investigate it." He turned towards the reclusive koorime but was surprised to find the fire demon staring intently on Kagome. Well Youko, it would seem you're not the only one interested in her.

No matter. <Mental shrug> She will be mine and no one else's.

As soon as Botan was called the group separated. Yusuke cradled his sister in his arms and walked through the portal to Genkai's house. The others followed him remarking on how the brash selfish boy they knew had been transformed into the caring loving young man before them.

Hiei watched as the young spirit detective carried his young sister through the portal. He could still see Kagome standing there with her power pulsing around her. The image hunted him. Why do I think of that human? There is definitely something odd about this. He noticed Kurama staring off into the distance. Troubles fox boy?

Kurama jumped slightly guilty. He too had been thinking about Kagome. I was just thinking about that miko. Suddenly they both felt an influx of power. Startled they glanced towards the old well house. A young girl came through the door, a kitsune child on her shoulder, and a large boomerang on her back. She walked out and noticed them. They knew immediately that she knew they were demons. All three of them took defensive positions. Each one determined to get some answers.

"Shippo go get Miroku and Inuyasha, Kagome's missing." As she spoke she pushed the young kit into the well house promising to find Kagome. "What have you demons done with my sister?" She tensed preparing to hurl her boomerang at the startled demons.
