He had stiffened where he stood, knowing he made a mistake, knowing that he tried to claim her but called her Kagome. He knew his mistake, and he couldn't help but let out a whimper as she pushed him away and changed, then left.
He wanted to follow her again, to claim her once more, but he just slumped to the floor of her room. Staring at the floor with his now dull gold gaze, replaying what had happened within his mind repeatedly. He stayed there, engulfed in her enraged fury and scent until he fell asleep.
