Upon reaching her time, she climbed out of the well once more. Her body tired from staying up so long, besides that small nap she took with Shippou and Youko. She walked, well trudged, to the shrine.

Sliding the door open, she stepped into the warmth of her house. Kicking off her shoes and trudging up the stairs to her room, making up her mind to sleep now, and worry later; but she did make up her mind that she was to go shopping tomorrow.

Unknown to her, as she fell onto her bed to sleep, her moving back and forth through time had alerted the Reiki police, and they reported to Koenma. She tossed in her sleep, to her right side and stayed there for a while, sleeping soundly.

The only real thing which caused her to wake, was her random dreams of what the kitsune looked like whilst in human form. Hours had past, long hours, before she awoke with a start; her alarm clock was buzzing, not knowing when she had set it. She stood to her feet shakily, stretching out; she looked out of her window to see her kitten playing on the ground before it ran back into the house.

She walked to the bathroom, pulling off her bed clothes, and pulling on fresh ones. She then made her way downstairs, grasping an apple in the kitchen and munching on it. Finishing it, she tossed the core into the trash and put on her shoes. Picking up her wallet, she stuffed it into the purse she was carrying with her to go shopping, walking out the door she shut it behind her and left for the subway.

As she reached the subway, she stopped in her tracks, as four auras which caused the very air around her to ripple. She blinked, looking around for the sources, not finding them she ran to get into the train. Sitting herself down, then she noticed the auras were in the train. She looked about once more, not finding any people to set faces to powers. She sighed, half-heartedly before shrugging, giving up basically.

Unbeknown to her, they were only a car away, and were headed to the same place as her. Once the train stopped, she hurriedly got off of it, walking along the sidewalk to the mall not far away.

The powers, they seemed to be following her as she walked, blinking a few times; she tried to ignore them. Masking her power, it seemed to help as the powers died down. She turned, making her skirt flitter about her thighs, as it was a sharp turn.

She moved into the mall, the powers right behind her, and when she turned around to walk in their direction, she bumped into something very hard. Falling backwards and onto her butt, she blinked, sheepishly she looked up.

Finding that she was staring into a pair of amber eyes, and a hand being held down to her. She took the hand, with her own, and was easily pulled up to her feet, `Well, I've found the sources of those powers…' She thought to herself, as she rocked lightly back and forth on her heels, looking to the man who she had run into. His aura, it reminded her of Inuyasha, except his hair was black and slicked back and his eyes were a gentle yet, at times, scary amber.

She giggled sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck with her hand, “Mind if I hang with you guys for a while? It's kinda boring spending Saturday by yourself, ya'know?” She asked, a small grin coming to her lips as the one who helped her up nodded “Sure ya' can, just don't fall behind.” He had spoken his own grin on his lips. She huffed at his assumption that she would fall behind, she didn't run around slaying demons with arrows all day, for nothing.

Stomping her heel against the ground, `No wonder he reminds me of Inuyasha, he's just as mean!' She muttered, as she thought to herself. Then her attention shot to the one with crimson hair and emerald eyes, his scent was so familiar, chocolate and rain; like Youko's.

She shook her head, `No way…' She just started walking behind them, as they moved through the mall, stopping at several stores. Then their major stop was the food court, the one with orange hair and squinty brown eyes, ordered at least a dozen hamburgers and fries. A frown came to her lips, watching him chow down like a pig. She was brought out of her thoughts, by a hand touching her shoulder.

Tilting her frame slightly, her head turned upright to look at the male touching her shoulder, it was the one with crimson hair. She blinked a few times, “Would you like to actually do some shopping, or watch the idiot gorge himself with food? I know, the offer sounds rather ridiculous at the moment, but I thought I would ask.” She giggled at the ending of his question, nodding her head and standing up to her height of five-foot-three.

He began walking in the direction of the escalators, as she caught up; they got onto the escalator, taking them up to the second floor, stepping off. They walked in the direction of Hot Topic, him entering first, then herself.

She looked about at the variety of pants, and grinned as the ones she wanted came into view; the crimson with black trim and metallic chains. She grabbed them quickly, and then a shirt with the band “Atreyu” on it, grinning to herself in triumph; she headed to the dressing room, noticing how the crimson haired boy stood outside, waiting on her almost.

She finished changing, and stepped out, noticing how he looked her over, “Why, that outfit is simply becoming of you, it's really lovely on you.” He spoke softly, his emerald hues seeming to make her shudder.

She stepped back into the dressing room, taking the clothes she was buying off and putting on her own once more. She held her items in her arms, as she looked at the boots, wanting to find a pair that would go just perfect with the pants. When she found him picking up the ones she had always wanted, the platforms with spikes going side to side along them, “Would you like these? I've nothing better to waste my money on.” He said, making her breath hitch in her throat, and it took all her strength to nod her answer “yes”.

He smiled a dazzling smile, as they stepped into line, him alongside of her. Reaching the front of the line, the purchases were set onto the countertop, and wrung up; placed in bags, just as the other three joined them.

She giggled to herself, bringing her left arm up to show her bag off triumphantly, and they noticed the crimson haired boy smiling politely as he allowed her to step out of the store first. She was giddy, they could tell, and she took off running to the nearest bathroom.

The crimson haired one followed her, causing the others to as well, he was waiting on her to come out and show the others her new outfit. At first, she was hesitant, ripping off the tags to the shirt and pants, pulling her shirt and skirt off; she pulled on the pants and made sure they rid on her hips.

Then pulling the shirt on, giggling softly to herself. Sitting down on the toilet, she pulled her shoes off and replaced them with the boots, successfully strapping them onto her calves. She then put her clothes into the bag, and stepped out of the bathroom, as she did so she saw the black haired boy's eyes go big and the orange heads. She giggled softly, skipping over to the side of the crimson haired one, looking up to him with her ice-blue gaze, which happened to be delighted, “Thank you so much, for the boots I mean. I could've never bought `em on my own!” She giggled out, and then noticed her bellybutton was showing from where the shirt had slightly ridden up, and her face flushed.

Though it didn't stay flushed for long, as she heard the black haired one, “Dude, Kurama, she's hot. She your new date now, `eh?” The man grinned, as he elbowed the crimson haired one in the ribs lightly.

She blinked, remembering something, “Youko Kurama?” She asked lightly, her voice trembling just slightly, blinking a few tears from her eyes. The emerald hues turned to her, as well as brown and amber, she felt like shrinking for saying anything.

Biting her bottom lip, she heard the first of the questions, “How do you know of Youko Kurama?” asked the one with slicked back black hair, though the substance he used to slick his hair back was starting to fade and it was fraying about his face in small locks. She bit her bottom lip slightly more, taking another breath, and turning her scared gaze to Kurama's piercing emerald one.

Her breath hitched in her throat, wanting to find a place to hide and diminish. Though, she stopped chewing on her lip, just long enough, “I met him…We talked…for a little bit….Then I came back here…” She answered, shaking a bit with her fear that she did something wrong.

“Youko died a little after five hundred years ago, how would you know him, you don't look a day over seventeen?” The slicked back haired one said, in a discreet tone. She whimpered, not wanting to tell them of her adventures, but really finding no choice, “I can travel, from this time to…five hundred years in the past.” Her gaze was now downcast, but she felt a hand on her shoulder, and looked up to find herself staring in that intense emerald gaze.

“Yusuke, it seems this is the girl we were sent here to find in the first place. Please, don't be so hard on her; I'm sure she didn't mean to upset the peace of our day out.” Kurama spoke softly, his eyes still on mine.

`Red, that's her. That's my Miko, my Kamina…I was wondering where that blue light took her.' Youko spoke to Kurama within his mind, and Kurama's gaze faltered a bit before he looked over to the rest of his group. Upon him looking, she looked also, seeing the shortest member had left; the one with the defying gravity black hair with the white sunburst within it and the intense demonic and disturbing aura. She sighed inwardly, the biggest demon threat gone. She fidgeted though, looking from Yusuke to Kurama, wondering what was going to happen.

“I honestly, do not believe a mall is the correct place to talk about this, Yusuke.” Kurama spoke, in that soft voice of his once more. Yusuke could only nod, and began to walk to the escalators, and they followed him.

Going down, once they hit the first floor, they headed out, and to the subway. Getting on, it took them mere blocks from her shrine. Getting off now, she walked, in the direction of her shrine, the others following behind her.

The clinking of the pants chains, were the only things, besides footsteps, that she could hear. Upon reaching the shrine, she slid the door open, and stepped aside. Them filing into the living room quarters and making their selves comfortable, she slumped then into the couch, looking from one to the other.

“So, how do you get to the past?” The dreaded question came, from Yusuke. “The well, in the past it's called the Bone Eaters Well. I travel through it, on both sides, to get to each time era…And I've got to go back in a week, maybe sooner…I miss my Kit.” She spoke softly, slumping more into the couch, as she thought about Shippou.

“Your Kit?” Yusuke had asked, she blinked, looking up from where she had been staring. “He adopted me as his mother, like he had done my mother…” she spoke softly once more, before she took in a small breath; releasing it in a sigh.

Deciding to continue her story from there, she took in a small breath and looked around before releasing it in another small sigh, “My mother, Kagome, also had the ability to travel between times. Thanks to this…” Her voice trailed, as she held out the half complete Shikon no Tama. Her aura seeming to flare, but it only caused their demons to be faltered by the pure energy.

“And also, thanks to this. I'm able to travel between times also, like my mother, I accidentally broke and shattered the Shikon no Tama, in my haste to get it back from a demon. I fired a purified arrow, it hit it's mark…Though it also hit the jewel. The fragments went all over the Feudal Era, and demons sought them out for more power. A wolf demon, Kouga, holds four shards of the jewel; two embedded in his legs, one in each. And two in his arms, each at the wrist. They give him the ability to run extremely fast, and when he does so; a large gust of wind comes from behind him.” Finishing her small story, she looked around the living room quarters to the boys. Finding them all deeply engrossed in her story, she giggled softly; the sound like small chimes being struck by a light wind, and it earned their attention once more.

“A few weeks back, I came in contact with a small silver kitsune; he was truly a sight to behold. Bright gold eyes, and four tails, and his color…Was simply dazzling. Only before I left, I learned his name, he had opened some sort of link with my mind; and told me. But, I didn't mind, it was a relief to know his name. That's why I asked the name earlier in the mall, but since he's been dead…There was no use. I wanted to see what he looked like, fully transformed.” She trailed off, her words seeming to ring in her own head as she sat back into the cushions of the couch, seemingly in her own little world.

`I wonder, if he would look like Sesshoumaru, if he would hold the air of royalty Sesshoumaru does? Ack! Stop thinking about these things Kamina! It's not your place.' During her thoughts, she had earned a few peeks from the corner of Yusuke's eye, he couldn't help it, but to look at something that should be looked at.

“So, when are you going back to the past, Kamina?” Kurama decided to ask, as he shifted in his seat to earn himself a more comfortable position. She looked up from the floor, her gaze had lowered there, “In a weeks time, or shorter, if Inuyasha comes back through to drag me back for more shard hunting.” She stated rather dryly, she didn't want to be drug back any sooner than when she wanted to go back. She fidgeted where she sat, before she stood, smoothing out her pants like they were a skirt.

Turning on her heel she moved to the kitchen area, before peeking out, “Any of you hungry? I know you all ate at the mall, but I have to admit their food isn't that filling.” She asked, and they nodded their agreement. So she sat about in a kitchen chair, thinking about what to cook for dinner. As she lounged there, she caught bits and pieces of their conversation; which they were holding without her.

“Kurama! You lucky fox! You got to know her in the past?!” Yusuke asked, it was loud enough for her to hear without straining.

“Yes, I believe so. But I, myself, did not know her, Youko did. Whilst, I believe, Kuronue and himself were still alive.” Kurama stated in a soft, but matter-of-fact voice. He had stood from his chair, moving into the kitchen, where he found her up and about now gathering articles for the food; she had decided on cooking chicken and broccoli casserole. Whilst she was thawing the chicken in the microwave, which was working rather well, she looked back at him; a small smile on her lips.

“Would you like some help, by the looks of it, you're cooking one of my favorite dishes.” He stated, but his lips upturned into a small smile in an attempt to get her to allow him to help. She was now chopping up the chicken with a knife, to the point she could place it into the chopper to get it further pieced apart to bring more for the casserole.

Having done that, she lined the bottom of the casserole pan with some chicken, then covered it with the casserole she had made while waiting for the chicken to thaw. Upon doing that, she laid layer and layer of chicken between the casserole, watching them mold together perfectly. After doing that, she picked the pan up and placed it into the oven, closing the oven door, she placed it on the high of temperature to cook it the fastest without burning.

She looked to Kurama, standing up straight and almost wiping her brow clean of sweat, she saw him smile and she smiled more. Those emerald green optics, seemed to delve into her very soul.

“You can help make the dessert, if you want. I've got the materials laid out, over there.” She spoke, pointing to the opposite countertop, on the other side of the sink. Cherries, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, mangos, pineapples, and a sweet casserole mix.

“A fruit casserole? You sure do pull out the stops, when you have company, don't you Miss Kamina?” She blushed at his soft voice, as he stepped over to the counter, and began chopping the fruit and mixing the casserole mix. She blushed more, at the thoughts she was having, dealing with something else on top of the countertop.

She shook her head, ridding herself of the thoughts as the oven dinged. She turned around, bending slightly to take the dish from the oven with her oven mitts. As she removed it, she noticed the smaller one from before was seated at the window sill of the kitchen, conversing with Kurama.

“I never…Got his name, Kurama. Who is he?” She asked, moving to the counter to set the casserole dish down for it to cool, looking expectantly towards Kurama. “His name is Hiei, he his a Koorime. I will not go into his past, unless he wants it to be known.” Kurama said, whilst he finished adding his own personal touch to the fruit casserole.

With a flick of his wrist, he added some cinnamon and ginger, mixing it into the casserole before he turned to her with a smile. She blushed lightly, then looking up to the small one on the window sill, “Would you like to stay for dinner, or is food something you don't grace yourself with.” She spoke, with a slightly stern voice, which she received a scowl for.

“Onna, I'll stay, but you…must shut up with your jabbering. I've dealt with enough, coming from the baka's in there.” Hiei spoke, his voice making her shudder from the sheer ferociousness held behind it. “Well, lets set up the table.” Kurama said, his soft tone seeming to contradict the tone of Hiei. He lifted the fruit casserole up and sat it down onto the table, moving a spoon into the contents of the bowl.

She then set her dish onto the table, and watched as Kurama stepped into the living room to call his two other friends into the kitchen. She had made her seat already, her plate already holding some of the casserole, and took a bite from her fork as she watched the others sit down around the table and load their plates.

She laughed almost, when she saw Hiei glare daggers towards Yusuke, for taking the last roll; never in her life has she seen someone so ruthless, aside from the last remains of Naraku. She was broke from her train of thought, “Holy shit! This is good! It's like you learned to cook from Kurama!” the voice of Yusuke having successfully gained her attention.

“I guess, you learn a thing or two from being alone. Have to cook for yourself, can't live off ramen…” With her last word, her mind drifted back to Inuyasha, before she finished the casserole on her plate and grabbed a rather large spoonful of dessert. Eating her dessert silently, as she thought, she also listened to their constant bickering over the “last” pieces of chicken in the casserole; the bickering coming from Kuwabara and Yusuke.

Unknown to her, Kurama, also, was lost in his own thoughts; talking to Youko within his mind.
