A female fox demon ran away from the castle she had just stolen from. Her long black with silver streaked hair flowed like a river behind her while she ran. Her blue with silver speckled eyes roamed the area looking for any attacks. On top of her head were a pair of black with silver tipped fox ears and her long silky tail was the same as her ears. Her fox ears twitched still listening to every sound. When she stood still her tail almost would touch the forest floor. She wore a black tank top with black pants, and black shoes. She could hear the guards screaming and chasing after her and decided to jump up in the tree branches.

Not making the branch move she landed quietly and watched as the guards passed by. 'Stupid ningens. I have gotten what I wanted.' She looked at the rare gem she held in her clawed hand. It was clear with a golden rose in it. She pocketed it in her shirt and headed off. ' It was a good thing I decided to travel to the Southwest instead of heading North. Inuyasha would have picked up on my scent no problem and I just hope that the Lord of the South isn't friends with Sesshomaru.' She peaked out from her hiding spot in the tree tops and jumped down not making a sound.

Quietly she made her way into the campsite. Sango was asleep near the fire with Kirara next to her, Miroku leaned up against a tree keeping away from Sango and he had a red handprint on his face from earlier that day. Shippo slept on her sleeping bag at the foot and Inuyasha was in his usual spot in a tree branch over looking the campsite. She stayed downwind from his nose while her own picked up the scent of decayed earth, ashes, and clay. ' She isn't here but where........' She looks up at Inuyasha. ' So I see......Inuyasha went to see her again....Well I guess I have to play stupid until I can disapear again. If this is what he keeps doing while he thinks we are all asleep. He is going to get sat so hard he will reach hell with my help'

She concentrated and hid her claws, ears, fangs, tail and masked her scent just enough that Inuyasha couldn't pick up on it. Her hair shrunk a little past her shoulders and the silver in her hair disappeared, her eyes went back to her normal brown and she was back in her school uniform. She tip toed to her sleeping back and got in trying not to wake the sleeping kit at the bottom. She closed her eyes and fell asleep. What seemed like only a few seconds to her she felt someone shaking her gently. She opened her eyes pretending to be sleepy. She looked up into Sango's brown eyes. "Come on Kagome-chan it's time to get up." Kagome faked a yawn. "Alright Sango-chan I'm up." Kagome stretched out her muscles and felt something jabbing in to her side. She put her hand in her shirt pocket and felt the gem. Miroku looked at her and asked. "Kagome are you alright?" She looks up at Miroku. "Yes I'm fine Miroku. I think I slept wrong or something but I'm ok."He shook his head in understanding.

She stood up and stretched out and rolled up her sleeping bag and put it in her big yellow bag. She looked around not seeing Inuyasha anywhere. "Where's Inuyasha?" Shippo jumps on her shoulder. "He disapeared when we all woke up mommy." Kagome nodded her head okay and patted her kit on the head. A while back Shippo wanted Kagome to be his mother she gladly acepted and she wanted him to be her son as well so it worked out. They still needed to do a blood bonding ritual for him to be her son and vice verca but she also had to tell him her little secret. "I'm sorry Kagome-chan." Kagome looked at Sango confused. "For what Sango?" "That you have to be treated this way by Inuyasha." She had to smile and laugh lightly. "Sango I have been used to it for a long time now. It doesn't bother me." Inuyasha finally showed up and Kagome could pick up the faint smell of decayed earth, ashes, and clay.

She looked at Inuyasha and glared at him but then quickly resumed putting things away. Kirara went up to her and meowed and started purring. Kagome smiled and petted her. "Inuyasha?" Sango asked. "Where were you we have been ready to leave for a while now." "Feh it's none of your buisiness." "Inuyasha don't say that to Sango she has done nothing to you." Kagome stated. Inuyasha fehed and sniffed the air and started to growel. "What is it Inuyasha?" Miroku asked. "It's Sesshomaru but there is another demon with him." "Another demon but why and who would travel with Sesshomaru?" Miroku questioned. Sango put on her demon exterminator outfit and readied Hirakotsu. "I don't know Miroku but we need to be ready for anything.

"Kagome readied her bow and arrow and Sango stood infront of Kagome. Shippo jumps on Kagome's shoulder, while Miroku stood in front of Sango and Inuyasha in front of Kagome and Sango and besides Miroku. Sesshomaru landed in front of Inuyasha as well as a demon as tall as Sesshomaru. He had pitch black hair with dark blue streaks in it. His hair went past his knees. He had yellow eyes with white flecks in it. He had ears like Sesshomaru's and he wore something similar to his attari except his colors were a dark blue and light blue. Inuyasha drew Tetsuaiga and Miroku looked at the new demon. "What the hell do you want Sesshomaru?" "I have nothing to do with you. Only the fox that stopped here." Kagome glared at Sesshomaru and held on to Shippo. Sango was about ready to attack but Miroku put a hand out in front of her stopping her in her tracks. "Sesshomaru no kitsune has passed through these lands except Shippo but he didn't leave the campsite." The other demon spoke up and his voice was deep and most human women would have fallen for victim to him instantly but Kagome and Sango didn't move. "It wasn't a kit let alone a male demon. This fox was female and passed through here, stopped, and her scent vanishes." "Feh. I was here all night and I didn't smell anyone." "Your sence of smell is pathetic little brother." "WHAT WAS THAT SESSHOMARU?!?!?!"

"You have heard me little brother." Kagome went up to Inuyasha and put her hand on his arm. She then looked up at the male demons. "No demon passed through here last night. There might have been a dead corpse wondering around but nothing more." She glared at Inuyasha when she said the last sentence. The new demon looked at Kagome. "You take us as fools onna." "Maybe not but then again mabye." The other demon lord stepped towards Kagome and she let go of Inuyasha and stood in front of the demon. "You do not know who you are speaking to. I am the Lord of the North Minako." "I care why?" "Because little ningens like you, I can easily kill." "Well I hate to break it to you but then again I don't. I am the miko Kagome protector of the Shikon no Tama and technically I don't care if you are as strong as the other pain in ass over there."

She points to Sesshomaru. "I have to deal with one of them as it is and I think I can handle another arrogant, stuck up, lying, cheating,no good rotten demon that think they are all big and bad." She let out a sigh after finishing her point. Sango, Miroku, Shippo, Kirara, and Inuyasha looked at Kagome like she had lost her ever lovin' mind. Sesshomaru stood there watching those two argue. Minako looked at Kagome with interest. No one not even his own parents had talked to him like she had. "Now as we had said before there wasn't any demon that passed by here last night." Minako smirked and chuckled a bit. "A demon did pass by here. The hanyou can not pick up the scent because it was downwind from where he was sitting. As for it disapearing I can not answer but that demon stole a jewel from me. A rare jewel that was heavily guarded." Inuyasha growled and Miroku held him back. "Calm yourself Inuyasha. We do not want to risk Kagome's safety." Sango looked over at the two.

"Miroku's right we can't risk him hurting Kagome." Kagome turned her head away from his gaze and could feel the jewel hidden in her skirt pocket. Minako reached out a clawed hand and cupped her chin and forced her to look up at him. She held back a growl that threatned to come out. "Look at me when I am speaking to you miko." "I don't let anyone call me to jackass and live." He smirked. "Quiet a mouth you have for a miko and a female ningen. Didn't anyone teach you to respect your lords." Kagome glared at him and put her hand on his wrist and made her claws come out. "I respect who I want to respect." She puncturing deeply into his wrists with her claws.

He winced in pain not expecting her to do so. "No lord will tell me what I can or can't do." He let go of her and she let go of him. His blood soaking her retracted claws. Minako turned to Sesshomaru. "Lord Sesshomaru you never told me your brother's wench was this fiesty nor that she had claws." Inuyasha went to Kagome and pushed her back to the others. "Kagome doesn't have claws." Minako faced Inuyasha and showed him his wrist. "Looks like she does and it also looks like you do not know her as you should know your wench." Kagome had had enough of him calling her his wench. "I AM NOT HIS WENCH, WOMAN, OR MATE!!!!!!!! WHAT IS IT WITH DEMONS SAYING THAT!!!!" Sesshomaru turned and walked away with Minako following him. "Miko don't think that this is over and to answer your question. It is because most hanyou take a human mate." "Oh for the love of god!!" She screamed and shook her head in frustration with Sango trying to calm her down. "Momma are you ok?" Kagome looks down at her kit and smiles at him. "Yes I'm fine Shippo. I guess I am a little tired still." "Feh let's go we have already waisted enough time with those morons as it is."

The two demon lords walked away from the group apparently ignoring Inuyasha's insult. Kagome looked down at the ground and said, "Inuyasha I am going home for a while. I haven't been sleeping well and I need to try and get some sleep." "WHAT?!?!?!?! NO NO AND NO!!! YOU ARE NOT LEAVING AGAIN!!" "I was only gone for two days last time. Why can't I go?" "BECASUE WE HAVE DAMN JEWEL SHARDS TO FIND THAT'S WHY!!!!" "Inuyasha, SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT AND SIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad that you could see it my way." She packed up her things and headed towards the well. When she got there she looked down at the bottom and then swung her legs over the side and jumps in. She got transported to her own time and climbs out of the well. She sighs in frustration and relief on being home and opens the well house door. She hated the smell of her time and had always liked the Feudal Era better but she didn't want to complain about it so she didn't do anything. She headed towards the house but felt a demon presence in the God Tree.

She looks up in the tree looking for the demon presence. Not finding it she shrugged her shoulders and went inside. Up in the tree a figure wearing all black looked down at the girl. Surprised that she had senced him. He runs off and heads to the park. "What did you find Hiei?" asked Yusuke. "A strong Miko but there is something differnt about this one. She has the energy of a demon mixed in as well." "We might want to report this to Koenma guys" "You think baka?" "Watch it shrimp or I'll pound you." "Hn as if you could." "Hey hey come on you two this is the time to argue. Kuwabara would you leave Hiei alone" Yusuke felt like he was babysitting two three year old kids. ' Why did Kurama have to have issues today?' He sighed and waited for Botan to make a portal.

Kagome sighed and set her heavy bag down at the front door. She listened around the house and she heard the normal house things running but no people noises, or anything. She decided to ignore it and went upstairs. Since it was almost evening she went into her demon form and jumps out of her window. She ran at full speed and decided to rob a rich guy that she totally hated from school. He thought that he owned everything just because his father owned about four to five buisnesses and he had money to throw around. She reached his house and quietly slipped passed the guard dogs, security camera's, silent alarms. ' This is to easy. Things are a little bit harder in the Feudal Era.'
