This is my response to Deadly-Siren's challenge
(Kagome is in her time)
Inuyasha charged at narraku , drawing his sword along the way . A tentacle shot out and pieirced his stomach . "Does it hurt Inuyasha ?" Narraku asked smiling evilly . Inuyasha said nothing , as he watched his blood pour out of the wound . "INUYASHA !" Sango yelled , distracted from her fight with Kagura , causing the windwitch to slice open her arm with the dance of the blades . "Pay attention !" Inuyasha snapped , slicing Narraku's tentacle . "Die Inuyasha ." said Narraku unafected . Narraku simply regrew a tentacle , and peirced inuyasha's chest with it . "D-damn." inuyasha stuttered holding the blood that was seeping out of the severe wound . Before Inuyasha could react Narraku sent a tentacle .....
Then all was dark .
"Hello ? " A bubbly voice asked was the next thing he remembered. "Inuyasha ? You are Inuyasha right ?" The voice asked again . Inuyasha opened his eyes , "Why are you floating wench?" He snapped . "I'm death and I have to take you to spirit world , orders of Lord Koenma . " She said reaming bubbly .Inuyasha stared blankly at her for a moment , and noticed he too was floating . "I'M DEAD ? !" He yelled - it finally hitting him . Botan nodded and grabbed his arm , hang on to the oar - don't want you to fall off ." She said taking off . Inuyasha could be heard yelling obcenities about her as they zipped into spirit world . "Here we are . " She said , making her oar dissapear . "Lord Koenma I have him." She said knocking on a large door . "Come in ." Koenma replied . As she opened the large door . "Sango ? Miroku? " Inuyasha asked suprised (ignoring shippo . )
They both nodded gimly , "So we lost the final battle ?" Inuyasha asked , his ears drooping . "I didn't expect to see you here Inuyasha." Kagura said from the corner of the room . "You're here to wench ?" Inuyasha asked suprised . "Yes , the Demon slayer took me down with her . " Kagura said disgusted, Sango merely glared . "Ahem" Koenma cleared his throat . "What do you want ?" Inuyasha snapped "I need to talk about your placement ." Koenma said shifting through some papers on his desk . "Placement ?" Sango asked , leaning over Inuyasha to see the files . "I-I Can't find their files ." Koenma said quietly . "What ?" Botan asked nervously . "Is that good or bad ?" Miroku asked "Bad , without the files you can't be placed . "A lost soul . " Kanna whispered from her spot beside Kagura .
Botan nodded , wringing her hands nervously , if king Enma found out about the lost files everyone would suffer . "Obviously it's bad . " Sango said to Miroku . "I have an idea . " Koenma snapped at the nervous Botan . "Spit it out then !"Inuyasha snapped , resisting the urge to slam his hands down on the desk . "You could become spirit detectives , there's always something going on . And one of them could be a grim reaper . " Koenma said more to himself than the others . "What the hell's a spirit detective ?" Inuyasha snapped . "They deal with Demons , Psychics and ghosts . " Koenma replied . "Sounds intresting " Sango said , it wasn't much diffrent than shard hunting , except they normally they didn't deal with ghosts . "What do you say inuyasha ?" Miroku asked the hanyou "We have to hunt the jewel shards !" Inuyasha snapped . "WE ARE DEAD YOU BAKA !" Sango snapped . "NARRAKU IS STILL ALIVE !" Inuyuasha yelled . "Maybe , if we get to be spirit detectives , we can avange ourselves . " Shippo said speaking for the first time .
"You have to get your souls back into your bodies if you want to do that . " Botan said "How will all of us fit on one oar ?" Shippo asked , confused . "Umm , doesn't Kanna have a soul sucking mirror ?" Sango asked "Yes" The white haired girl replied . "You could suck all of them into your mirror and Botan could carry you on her oar , when you arrive in the feudal era you can put the souls into the rightful body . "Koenma explained . Kanna nodded as she tilted her mirror , sucking all of the Inuyasha gang into her mirror . "Damn it wench !" Inuyasha said from behind the glass . 'These are going to be intresting people to work with ' he thought . "MONK DON'T TOUCH ME THERE !"Inuyasha snapped "I was aiming for Sango !"
As they arrived in the Feudal era , Kanna slid off of the oar as she released the souls . Sango stood up only to fall over again . "My damn leg's fallen asleep . " She mumbled , standing up and stretching , "Kirara !" Sango called looking for her neko , she found it curled in a ball , asleep. "My turn ." Kanna said handing the mirror to Botan , her soul slid into her body . "Now that I'm in my body I would like to ask you something Botan . "Miroku said smiling (An: YOu know what's coming) "Yes?" "Will you bear my child ?" Miroku asked hopefully . "Pervert " Botan said disgustedly , whacking him with her oar . " A slap could have done ." He said muffled . "Everyone needs healing right ?" Botan asked looking at the blood dripping off of each of them .
After Botan had finished healing them she formed her oar . 'How will all of these people fit on this ? In human form?' Botan thought desperately . "Does anyone here have flying powers or control of the wind ?" She asked . Kagura made the feather huge and sat on it , " I can carry three people on the feather ." Kagura replied . "About two on kirara" Sango said stroking the cat's head .
*in spirit world*
"I'm glad everyone has somehow made it back , rest up because tommorow you begin the training . " Koenma said , dissmising them with a wave of his hand
