Prologue

 

In the year, when magic was at the peek of its power, which was probable hundreds of years ago, we really don't know, or care to find out. Their was one particular man, who by far was the most powerful sorcerer in all of Asia, who went by the name of Clow Reed. Clow was most commonly known as the man who created the Clow Card, but there is another story to this twisted mans life not one that many people know about.

Clow Reed was getting on in years and had no disciple of his own. Sure, he had a beautiful wife with children that would most defiantly supply many generations of grand children. But, their was something missing from that life. His disciples could go astray and give into the darkness. Clow did not want that to happen, so when Clow made the Clow Cards he made guardians but that was not good enough. Clow wanted some one that would be like him, even if Clow did perform the spell at his death so he could reincarnate, it would not be the same.

Then Clow got an idea. One that many said was the work of a mad man, which is why not many people know this story. Clow set out to make the perfect child, and not by the natural processes either. Clow's child would be well perfect, in Clow's opium. Clow's child would be pure, to make sure that it would not be corrupted by darkness. Clow's child would be more powerful then he when it came to magic. Clow's child would also be a she because in Clow's own opium males were very arrogant when it came to power. Then lastly the most important part of Clow's child, she would be immortal. In order to keep the peace and balance between light and dark, his child would be his little light in darkness.

Clow's wife got jealous of the child because it was not hers. Darkness took over her, darkening her soul. Then Darkness and Clow fought each other over the child, during the struggle darkness created a portal and sucked the child in a different dimension, causing her to forget everything. That is, until today.
