Kagome blinked a while as she opened her eyes. Then covered her mouth yawning. She tried to get up but something held her down. She looked up and smiled seeing Hiei. She tried to get out of his arms but he wouldn't budge. She sighed leaning back on his chest as a smile crept on his lips. She pouted then an idea bounced into her head. She looked up and whispered seductively,” Hiei…”

He opened one eye at her his mind panicked as she moved closer to him. What was she thinking? She then kissed him on the lips as he let go of her surprised and put his hand to her cheek.

She moved back laughing and stood up,” glad you enjoyed it.”

He blushed,” Hn.”

She laughed then yawned stretching out as Hiei looked at her. She turned to him,” Make sure too watch everyone for me, I'm going to take a shower.”

She walked up the steps as Hiei sighed and thought,' that girl has me under some spell. Ha, stupid human emotions…love.'

About twenty minutes later Kagome walked down the steps wearing a red outside bra with a black unbuttoned elbow high sleeved shirt over that, short red mini skirt with black thin fabric inside, black knee high stockings with high heel boots that went up to her ankle, a silver cross necklace around her neck, and a ring on her pointer finger. Her long black hair was put up with a clip leaving strands of hair to flow onto her face.

She smiled at him, as his mouth dropped onto the floor remaining there. She walked to him and snapped her fingers as he shook his head back into reality. He cleared his throat as she rolled her eyes,” Hungry?”

“ Hn.”

She laughed,” I'll take that as a yes.”

She walked into the kitchen and looked around,” Let me see. Hiei would you do me a favor and go outside to the back?”

“ Why?”

“ A friend of mine comes by and there should be some fresh eggs in a basket waiting.”

“ Let me guess your friend is a Easter bunny.”

“ Hahaha, that was so funny I forgot to laugh. NO! She doesn't live far from here and leaves eggs for me too cook breakfast. She runs a farm.”

“ Hn.”

He ran off. As Kagome took out some supplies, by time the others woke up Kagome had finished making breakfast. So they dinned. Hiei did have to smack then for starring at her. Kagome just rolled her eyes at them shaking her head. Soon everyone finished and they went outside. Kagome looked at them,” So where do you want to go?”

“ I don't know,” was mostly everyone's answer or face reaction counting for Hiei.

She looked around then shrugged,” Where to go, where to go?”

Hiei looked at her,” Kagome…”

She turned to him as he turned to the well house. Kagome's face changed from childish and happy to cold and still. She turned to Hiei,” Why?”

“ You can't keep running.”

The others looked at her as Yusuke asked,” Hey you mind letting me in on this here???”

As they walked toward the well house Kagome explained quickly and harshly. She didn't want to go and face that. It was hard enough last time trying to put on a smile. What would change now?

She turned to the others and pointed at the well,” One at a time jump in, then jumped out of the well by time you get to the other side.”

They nodded going one bye one as everyone went through. Kagome stared at the well, her breath trembling. Hiei looked at her and took her hand,” Kagome, I'll be here for you now and always, now let's go.”

She nodded taking a breath and jumping in with him. They both jumped out as Kagome sighed and looked around,” Just the same.”

Then kids came running. Kagome smiled,” Hello kids!”

They hugged her,” Lady Kagome! Where have you been?”

“ Oh, I can't tell you that but I missed you.”

“ We missed you too!”

They dragged her into the village as everyone shrugged and followed. A girl ran up to her with folded clothes,” Lady Kagome you're miko garments.”

She bent down and took them smiling,” Thank you. Do you mind if I change?”

They led her into a hut as Kagome walked in and walked out in her black and red garments. She let down her hair freely leaving her clothes there for later and walking out. The kids gathered around her,” Lady Kagome who are they.”

She bent down,” These are my friends, Hiei, Kurama, Yusuke, and Kuwabara.”

They bowed then ran off to play as Kagome waved off then sighed,” It's been a while.”

“ So this is the place huh.”

She nodded then walked over to a hut grabbing a basket and looked around,” Where could Rin be? She shouldn't leave the village unguarded.”

Then a voice said,” She didn't, I took over.”

Kagome looked up,” Sesshomaru you came to take this guarding job?”

“ Kagome, Rin is but only a child still and yet I still watch over her. Her miko powers aren't that strong and the other miko is still here.”

She nodded,” Oh yes Sesshomaru I have guests, Spirit Detectives.”

“ I see. They are strong. Continue on Kagome.”

She nodded and walked away stopping in a field and bending over picking some flowers. Kurama walked over,” Umm, what are you doing Kagome.”

She simply said,” I am picking flowers as you can see.”

Kuwabara spoke out,” He means what for.”

Kagome picked up some more flowers,” For the graves.”

Hiei walked over to her,” You have plenty now let's go.”

She nodded as Hiei took the basket. She smiled as she began to walk through the forest smiling. She smiled and then stopped putting her hands in a praying position and then the barrier broke. She smiled and walked in with Hiei as the others looked at her. Yusuke turned away,” If you don't mind I'm going to stay out here.”

“ Yeah me too.”

“ Umm, I think it is formal to stay outside since I am not an acquaintance of the deceased.”

She nodded as Hiei and her walked into the cave. She sat down as Hiei stood behind her. The flowers set themselves to the graves as Kagome prayed. They were silent until Kagome stood up leaving the basket there then stood up,” Hiei are you ready to go?”

He looked at her and kissed her on the cheek,” You can go ahead, I'll catch up.”

She nodded smiling a bit then walking off. She smiled and nodded walking off. Hiei walked forth with his hands in his pockets,” You're right you know, I love her.”

“ I know, it's hard not too,” came Inuyasha's voice.

“ Hn, I'll take care of her so don't worry.”

“ Good, or I'll haunt you.”

“ I'm scared really.”

“ Ha.”

Hiei turned and walked away. Kagome waited for him,” What were you waiting for?”

“ Nothing, don't worry.”

She nodded as they continued to walk. She sealed the door as they walked toward the well talking. They got to know each other better. Kagome then walked to the village taking her clothes and walking off waving goodbye to the village as they headed to the well. Kagome walked solemnly talking to Yusuke and Kuwabara as Kurama spoke to Hiei,” So, how are you two?”

“ What do you mean?”

“ It is quite clear you two are considered a couple.”

“ Hn.”

“ Do you love her?”

“ Yes.”

“ And you both consider each other together?”

“ Hn.”

“ Glad to hear it.”

He just looked at Kagome as she spoke to the others. She laughed and looked stunned at some of the things. She was perfect. They would always be together.
