Ohayou Minna! I'm sorry it took so long to upload this chapter, I swear whatever god/goddess that controls who gets writers block at which time/date… he/she is out to get me! I'm the target!!! I get writers block nearly every single day, does anybody else write better at night? I do… I swear I'm nocturnal! I even sleep better in the day.

And there's also the small fact that my arms not working right now, I slept on it a weird position (I move around a lot in my sleep *Sweat-drop*) and now I cant even write… its slowly getting better bit by bit, now I can type a bit (Albeit slowly.), so bare with me if my future chapters take quite a long time to upload. Stupid arm… hand… wrist… oh whatever!!! THE GODS ARE AGAINST ME!!!!!!!!!

 

Ummm… where was I? I sort of drifted off there, now I just noticed a mistake I did on the first and second chapter, you may or may not have noticed but, on the first chapter I put that Kirara was a survivor and on the second chapter I had accidentally put that Kirara had died… I'm too lazy to do any editing on that right now (I will some other time though!). Just pretend that Kirara is also a survivor like I had put in Chapter One, Kirara will be joining Kagome and Sango!!!

 

Oh yes! I've got some more reviews… I love you guys!!! *Hugs Kagome Lady of the Rain, MidnightTimberWolf, Elemental Dea and LCAR (Whom come out of nowhere. Again.). Kagome Lady of the Rain sighs while MidnightTimberWolf, Elemental Dea and LCAR look utterly confused and slightly scared that a stranger is hugging them*

Just when Kurama was going to great him properly Botan came flying in on her oar looking extremely scared, “I didn't know who else to go to!” she cried out hysterically not making any sense, Kurama frowned and asked “What's going on Botan?”, Botan took in a deep breath and wheezed out obviously in shock over something “A youkai… in Ningenkai… dangerous… The Reikai… Special Defence… Team… couldn't… help… beaten…” after that she fainted.

 

---------Chapter Four.

_Sunset Shrine_

-~-~-With Kagome, Sango and Kirara-~-~-

 

Not long after Kagome had told Sango that she felt something bad was happening in her time, Sango had called for Kirara, got her personal items and they left down the Bone-Eaters Well. Once upon landing on the other side of the well Kagome placed sutra's with her Miko-chi on the Bone-Eaters Well, as well as sending her Reiki into some ofuda's to join the sutra's.

 

When Kagome was completely sure nothing could get through the well she told Sango to follow her, both Sango and Kagome stopped dead when they felt whose Miasma it was that was causing Kagome's Miko-chi to give her the danger signal… Naraku.

 

But that was impossible Naraku was gone, dead, purified into nothingness, how the hell was he alive??? The answer came to the Youkai-Slayer and Miko when they finally found the owner of the Miasma.

 

It was… Moryomaru.

 

_Sunset Shrine_

-~-~-With Kurama and Hiei-~-~-

 

Kurama and Hiei made there way to a large field just outside of the shrine, that was where the enormous amount of miasma led to, they got there to find two females facing a male of about twenty-five. The male could just as well have been ningen if it weren't for the fact he had an odd looking scar surrounding some not-so-ningen looking skin and if he weren't letting off a huge amount of miasma and youki.

 

Kurama unlike Hiei finally took his gaze away from the youkai to look at the females, one looked about seventeen while the other looked around nineteen years of age; the youngest was dressed in black baggy trousers, her baggy wrap around long-sleeved top was white and tied upon her obi using a sageo was a Daisho set, both the katana and the wakizashi were Gyaku-Ha, her long raven-black hair was put in a high ponytail giving her the look of a deadly samurai or hitakiri, while the other older female wore a very tight-skinned black outfit with dark-pink armour, tied into place on her back was large and extremely heavy looking boomerang, the females hair was tied up the same way as the others and finally Kurama took note of the kitten with two tails that stood next to her.

 

Hiei turned to see what Kurama was doing, “Hn… What's wrong kitsune?” he asked the frowning Kurama. “A demon with that amount of youki should be able to sense us up here as a threat, but… he's keeping all of his senses on the two girls. Almost as if they pose more of a threat to him_” Kurama was cut off by Hiei growling slightly as he ground out “Impossible not only are they just ningen's I don't sense any reiki coming from either!”.

 

“But there is a chance that they are hiding it, is there not? But what doesn't get me… how would the youkai know that they were a threat if he didn't know they were hiding their abilities? He would have to know them personally… but how is that possible?” was Kurama's answer to Hiei's unspoken question. Hiei frowned heavily; he tried to use his Jagan on the two onna's minds, only to find he couldn't, something was blocking him out.

 

Both of their thoughts came back to the present as saw the youkai form his hand to a spike, he seperated into lots of seemingly needles before sending towards the females in a blink of an eye.

 

-~-~-With Kagome, Sango and Kirara-~-~-

 

Sango and Kagome went wide-eyed when they saw who was the cause of the miasma, “Moryomaru…” Sango bit out in disgust. Kagome was currently wondering how he got here in which led her to wonder if her family were okay, she was brought out of her worrying thoughts when she heard Sango's voice, she frowned and ground out “How did you get here?”.

 

Moryomaru did not answer… well he didn't give a spoken answer; instead he went for the nice physically attack method. Kagome, Sango and Kirara found themselves looking at a huge amount of thin needles joined from his arm flying right at them, “Well its nice to know you haven't changed in the slightest.” said Kagome sarcastically as she dodged the needles and was now sitting high up in a nearby tree.

 

Kirara had transformed into her larger form and flew out of the way of the needles with Sango on her back, Sango remembering from experience how fast Moryomaru could heal and change forms allowed Kirara to take he away from the needles. She didn't see the point in needlessly hurting herself for nothing and neither did Kagome.

 

Both Kagome and Sango were aware of the two males nearby, but ignored their presence since they didn't show any reason that they would attack them. Kagome while still in the tree turned her head to look at them; the first was a kaji/koori youkai, he had ruby-red eyes, was about the same height as herself with black naturally spiked hair with a white starburst in where his fringe would be if he had his hair down, a bandana was wrapped around his forehead but she could feel the presence of the Jagan underneath and wrapped around his right arm was bandages and sutras, underneath was the Koku Ryu Ha.

The second male was not ningen, youkai nor hanyou, inside him she could feel the soul of a ningen, a Gin-Kitsune Youkai and oddly a third soul that seemed have to been formed from both the youkai and the ningen souls, his hair was blood-red as long as his knees and layered, his eyes were such an unnatural shade of green they were practically emerald and Kagome noticed that both his reiki and youki seemed to merge with the tree and the plants around him.

 

Kagome looked at the kaji/koori youkai's Koku Ryu Ha one more time and subconsciously grabbed hold of her left arm, the youkai looked her way and she felt him probe her mind barrier with the Jagan, she smiled at him before jumping of the tree and landing in a catlike crouch. With speed that left her a blur to the ningen eyes Kagome raced towards Moryomaru, she unsheathed her katana and twirled it around with ease, the ha now facing the owner of the miasma Kagome poured some of her miko-chi into it and whispered some kind of chant under her breath before slicing him fifteen times as she seemingly just jumped over him.

 

She sheathed her katana and looked back at Moryomaru, the miko-chi from the cuts was already spreading across his body and every time he tried to heal himself it made the miko-chi spread faster. Eventually it consumed him leaving no trace, Kagome looked up at Sango who was still on Kirara's back and gave a bitter smile while saying sarcastically “Well that was fun.” Sango laughed and got off Kirara once they were back on the ground.

 

Kirara transformed back to her smaller form before jumping into Sango's arms, Kagome smiled and turned around to the two males “I'm guessing your not here to try and kill us. So how long are you planning on staying there? If you want some answers you can come have dinner with us, but… we'll be wanting some answers as well.” she said before she started walking to the shrine with Sango on her heels.

 

-~-~-With Kurama and Hiei-~-~-

 

They both stood there in shock as they watched the girl swiftly finish off the youkai who had to be around an A- class youkai, their brains started to work again at the same time she turned around to look at them, “I'm guessing your not here to try and kill us. So how long are you planning on staying there? If you want some answers you can come have dinner with us, but… we'll be wanting some answers as well.” they heard her say before she started to walk towards the shrine with the other female following.

 

They both shrugged their shoulders before following them silently, Kurama watched curiously as the youngest made her way to an ancient tree instead of heading straight inside the shrine, as she laid her hand onto the trunk both of their energies intertwined like his did when he went near plants and trees, this instantly caught Youko's attention.

 

//Hmmm… I wonder who she is?//

[I don't know.]

^That's because she hasn't told us yet.^

//YEH!!! She should of introduced herself!//

[That's not true we never asked and we haven't introduced ourselves either.]

^True and this is her home, we should have introduced ourselves first.^

//Fine I'll let it go… she is beautiful though. Isn't she, ne?//

^Yes she is… HEY! Not everything revolves around looks.^

[Are you guys going to shut up any time soon?]

Sango walked up to Kagome and the tree, once near she noticed the tree was very familiar… “Holy shit!!! Is that the Goshinboku?!” Kagome turned around smiling, nodding twice at Sango she then made her way towards the shrine and walked inside leaving the door open for them. They all followed her inside and Kurama being the last to, closed the door.

 

They all sat at the table quietly drinking their tea that Kagome had made for them, none of them knowing where to start without sounding rude… well except for Hiei whom just didn't talk much. Kagome finally fed up with the silence was the first to speak “Well I think it'd be best to start off with our names, ne? Well to start off… I'm Kagome Higurashi.”

“I'm Sango Taijiya!”

“Hn…”

“I'm Suiichi Minamino and that's Hiei.”

Wai! That's the end of chapter four!!! I hope lots of you readers continue to read my fanfiction and hopefully more of you will review, if not… I might just hunt you down, a joke a joke! I'll update to the next chapter as soon as I can… but, it might get finished a little quicker if the readers were to review *Hint-hint* I'm just joking again… but I do enjoy reading reviews, I would like to have more of them ONEGAISHIMASU!!!

Now I'm going to give you translations for certain items/words I've used (To keep you from getting confused!!!). Although some, or lots, of you may know

the meanings already.

 

Japanese Word or Item- English Translation or Description

 

Ohayou - Morning.

Minna - Everyone/Everybody. (Informal version.)

Chi - In this chapter I've used it as meaning an “aura/power” but it can also be used as “blood”.

Reiki - Spirit power/energy.

Ofuda - Pieces of paper with magical abilities when infused with spiritual energy or in some cases youki.

Sutra - Extremely similar to the “Ofuda”.

Miasma - A large amount of evil energy. (Can be from either Ningen or Youkai.)

Youkai - Demon.

Miko - Priestess. (With abilities to purify.)

Ningen - Human.

Youki - A youkai's power or energy.

Obi - A wrap around belt used on Japanese clothing.

Sageo - A cord used for tying the “saya” to the obi. (A saya is basically just a swords scabbard.)

Daisho - The kanji of daisho meaning “big and small”. The daisho was the traditional weapons of the samurai, the daisho itself is a set of two swords; a katana and

a wakizashi. The katana for man-to-man combat_ (Do any other females find that rather sexist? Why not woman-to-woman combat… no instead that is

more commonly known as a “cat-fight” involving scratching, slaps and tugging of the enemies hair. Myself I'm more of the punching type, and I'm proud

of it!!!) _and the wakizashi used for close-combat.

Katana - A long sword, the katana's blade is normally just a little over two shaku in length, though the size varies just a little. (A shaku is about the same length as

30cm give or take a few centimetres.)

Wakizashi - A short sword, smaller than a katana, the blade is on average around one almost two shaku in length.

Gyaku-Ha - Reversed Blade; Gyaku meaning angled back/reversed and Ha meaning cutting edge/blade.

Samurai - A Japanese Warrior. The total abolition of the samurai was in 1876 during the Meiji Era.

Hitakiri - Assassin.

Kitsune - Fox.

Onna - Woman.

Jagan - Evil Eye. (A third eye on the forehead after surgery; has the power to see from great distances, read minds and control people.)

Kaji - Fire.

Koori - Ice.

Hanyou - Half-demon.

Gin - Silver.

Ne - Right.

Gomen - Sorry.

Baka - Stupid/Idiot/Moron.

Kuso - Damn.

Wai - Yay.

Onegaishimasu - Please. (Polite.)
