Chapter 3
Kagome finally made it out to the garden and was surprised to see Sesshoumaru talking to Shinjiru. Inuyasha was sitting under the tree with a scowl on his face. When he saw her he glared at Sesshoumaru.

Shinjiru turned when she caught Kagome's scent, "Hello Kagome. We were looking for you."

Inuyasha looked up at Kagome, "Did you ever figure out what that talking was about?"

"Yep, I know a language I never knew I knew. Very interesting."

Shinjiro looked at her, "What language is that?"

"Well it seems I know High Inu. I'm not sure how but I do."

"Betcha if I guessed I could get it right." Sitora said from up in the tree. She popped her head out of the leaves and smiled at them. She was hanging upside down in the tree, "But I won't guess, it would be pointless." Sitora flipped and jumped gracefully down from the tree and landed on Inuyasha. "Sorry about that."

Sesshoumaru shook his head, "Where are Rin and the kit?"

Inuyasha pushed Sitora off of him. "They're with Sango and Miroku." He glared at Sitora as she stood up, "I left them so I could look for her."

Sitora smiled knowingly. "Did you make it there safely Kagome? I know my instructions are a little bad sometimes."

Sesshoumaru frowned, she was hinting at too much. So he fixed her attitude. He spoke in High Inu, "You will refrain from saying anything like that again. This does not involve you. My brother is not a complete idiot and he may figure it out."

"Sorry Sess. I didn't mean anything by it." She smiled up at him, "That was almost a compliment you know."

Kagome laughed, "She's right you know." Kagome laughed even harder when Sesshoumaru glared at her, "There goes your reputation Sess."

"Hey that's my name for him, you have to think of a different one for him."

Kagome put her finger up to her chin and tapped it. "Well, I like Sesshou. How about it Sesshou?"

"I'd prefer my real name not shortened versions of it."

Kagome smiled, "Sesshou it is."

He rolled his eyes. "I am going back inside before you decide to mutilate my name any further." He left with Shinjiru trailing behind him.

Inuyasha glared at Sitora and Kagome, "What the hell was that about?"

"Believe me Inuyasha you don't want to know." Sitora laughed, "But just know that it is good."

He growled, "Stupid wenches." He stalked inside, intent on leaving them behind.

Kagome and Sitora laughed. Only after he made it inside did their laughs subside. Kagome sat down and looked at the mountains east of the palace. The sun was already setting.

Sitora smiled down at Kagome, "So how are things with you and Sess?"

Kagome looked at her stunned, "How did you know about that?"

"Well, I caught his scent mingled with yours and that only happens after repeated rutting. I also asked Sesshoumaru about it yesterday. He told me about everything. The fight, the rutting, and how he felt about the whole thing." She sighed, "I think you are the best thing for him Kagome, I really do. He loves you I know he does."

Kagome turned her gaze to the setting sun, it was almost completely gone now. "Yeah, he told me. I just didn't know Sesshoumaru had someone he could talk to." She looked at Sitora curiously, "How come you haven't mated him? Or Shinjiru?"

"I don't feel like that towards him. Sesshoumaru is like a brother to me, so thinking of him sexually is gross. And Shinjiru does like him as more than a friend, but Sesshoumaru won't get involved with her. I asked him about it once and he told me that she would never be more than a sister. He said he wouldn't persue a relationship with her." She smiled up at the stars, "I asked him why, but he never told me."

"Shinjiru isn't going to hate me when she finds out is she? I don't want her to hate me."

Sitora shook her head, "No, she wants Sesshoumaru to be happy like I do and she'll let him be happy even if it isn't with her." Sitora sighed, "Time for me to retire. It's best if you get some rest, I have a feeling that things are going to get interesting pretty soon." She stood up and with a smiled bowed to Kagome, "Good night my Lady." Then she jumped off.

Kagome smiled. She didn't like to be thought of as better than anyone else, so being called 'Lady' here, at the palace, was out of the question. After some quiet reflection on the turn her life had taken Kagome stood and made her way inside.

She stopped by her room and got clean clothes. She still planned on taking a bath. Kagome grabbed a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and made her way to the spring Sesshoumaru had shown them. The halls were deserted, all of the servants were asleep as were the rest of the palace staff.

When she got to the spring she set her clean clothes on a wooden bench away from the hotspring. She had a feeling that there would be water splashed tonight. She stripped and left her disguarded clothing in a pile on the floor. Kagome slipped into the steaming water and sighed as her muscles relaxed.

It didn't take long for Kagome to feel youki around her. She hated when he did this, it was cheating and he knew it. "Sesshou, I know you're here, I can feel your youki."

From the mist a silky voice said, "Oh, then perhaps you should come and find me."

Kagome huffed, "No. If you want me you will come to me. I can live without sex, can you?" She heard a growl from her left, but didn't look. She knew he wasn't there, just trying to bait her. Kagome smiled in triumph when she felt his arms wrap around her from behind.

"You win this time Kagome, but next time you will wish you never said those words." He kissed and nipped her neck. He slid back up to her ear, "You are mine Kagome." His hand slid down between her legs and his skilled fingers caressed her hidden jewel. "Say it."

She was panting. It had been so long. "Y-yours."

He growled in pleasure. Sesshoumaru moved her to the edge of the hotspring and jumped out. He pulled her up and moved her to the soft pillows that were used as a resting area. She fell back onto the pillows and landed on her back. His growls of satisfaction reached Kagome's ears.

"Please S-sesshou."

He needed no further incouragement, he flipped her onto her stomach and pulled up to rest on her hands and knees. Sesshoumaru positioned his arousal at her entrance. With a savage growl he pushed into her harshly. Kagome moaned as she was filled completely. With no pause he began thrusting in and out at a blinding pace.

They had been together many times but he was never like this. Each of his thrusts hit the right chord deep inside her body. She didn't know when, but she could hear herself moaning, screaming, and panting out his name. Kagome heard his feral growls and knew if anyone interrupted this time he would kill them.

Sesshoumaru felt her walls start to spasm around his shaft. She was almost there. He increased his speed and pounded into her harder than ever. With little effort he slid his hand around and put it on her belly. He nuzzled into her neck as her moaning reached it's loudest. When he heard her scream out her release he bit into her neck.

Kagome never felt the bite to her neck.

Sesshoumaru let himself go. He released his seed into her womb and only now did he let his seed be fertile. She was his mate now and pups would inevitably follow, only time would tell when. He withdrew himself from her warm depths and slumped to the side, next to his new mate.

Kagome yawned, "You bit me."

He chuckled, "Yes I did."

"And that means I'm your mate."

"Yes you are."

"I should hold back from you more often, that was amazing." She opened her sleepy eyes and looked up into his golden ones.

"That was mating Kagome. Your first in a long life of matings." He smiled down at her, she was barely staying awake. "Tired?"

"A little bit." She yawned, "Time for bed?"

"Yes, you will come to my bed tonight." He slid his haori and hakamas back on.

"Will you still be there in the morning?"

"Yes." He smirked down at his satisfied mate. He picked her up and looked down at her clean clothes, 'She won't need those.' He walked out into the hall and made his way to his chambers.

Kagome smiled up at him, "You know I'm not allowed in there. The Western Lord told me so."

Sesshoumaru almost laughed, "I think the Western lord will let it slip this once." He walked through the door and to his large bed. He pulled back the covers and laid Kaogme down in the bed. He covered her up and walked over to the other side. He slid in and wrapped his arms around her. The warmth of the blanket and their bodies keeping them warm.

Kagome sighed. It felt nice to have Sesshoumaru's body pushed up against her back. She blushed at a sudden thought that popped into her mind.

Sesshoumaru could smell her arousal and figured it had to do with their close proximity and lack of clothes. He smirked down at her and pushed his shaft into Kagome from behind. Her gasp told him it wasn't unexpected or unwanted.

Kagome smiled, she swore he could read her mind. She pushed her body flush against his and started to doze off. It felt good to have him fill her completely as she fell into a deep sleep. "I love you Sesshou."

He looked down at her head, "I love you too Kagome."

She smiled as sleep overtook her, "I knew it."

Sango woke up early. The sun hadn't even come up yet. She looked around and found that Kagome was missing. Shippo was curled up on her bed with Kirara, alone. Sango jumped up and dressed quickly. She quietly ran from her room to Miroku and Inuyasha's room.

She banged on the door hoping someone would wake up. Miroku opened the door with only his under shirt on. Inuyasha was standing behind him equally undressed.

"Sango what's wrong?" He stepped out into the hall with Inuyasha behind him.

Sango blushed as she stared at Miroku's naked chest. "It's Kagome."

Inuyasha pushed Miroku out of the way, "What happened? Is she alright?"

"I don't know. She never came back last night. I woke up and she wasn't there in her bed." She looked around, "Sesshoumaru warned us about being out alone in the halls, do you think something happened to her?"

Inuyasha looked at Miroku, "Get dressed, we're going to go find her." They disappeared into the bedroom and returned a second later, fully dressed.

Sango looked down the hall, "Where do we look?"

Inuyasha knew the first place he'd go, but they couldn't go with him. "You two go that way," He pointed them the opposite direction of Sesshoumaru's chambers, "and I'll go this way."

Sango looked at Miroku, "Shouldn't we stay together?"

He shook his head, "I'll be fine by myself, but you two stay together. Come back here when you're done." He took off running at top speed from his brother's room.

Miroku and Sango watched him until they too went on their way.

As he ran through the hall he thought back to earlier that day. He had looked around the whole palace. Sesshoumaru was nowhere to be found so Inuyasha went exploring. He saw Sesshoumaru's rooms and noticed to wards above his doors. The wards were used to keep scents from escaping the room. If Kagome was there then he'd have no way of knowing.

Assuming she was there it could only mean they got over their 'problems' and mated. Normally he could smell the scent of two people, youkai or not, mating, but those wards would prevent his nose from picking it up.

When Inuyasha saw the doors come into sight he slowed down. He didn't want to alert Sesshoumaru to his prescense. He walked carefully up to the doors and listened, it was quiet. He knocked on the door.

Sesshoumaru faintly heard a knocking sound. He forced his eyes open and waited for the sound again. It came almost instantly, it was his door. Someone was knocking on his door. He growled, not wanting to wake his mate or get up. The knocking stopped and his door slowly opened.

Sango and Miroku made their way back into the room shared by him and Inuyasha. They hadn't found her. Kagome was still missing. Sango hoped Inuyasha had found her. Miroku sat down on his small bed and sighed.

"I'm sure she's fine Sango. Kagome's strong, besides Sitora and Shinjiru wouldn't let anything happen to her."

Sango nodded absently, "Yeah, but Sesshoumaru being our ally wouldn't stop him from doing anything to her. If he did there's little Inuyasha could do to stop him and we both know it."

"Maybe, but the only thing we can do is wait for Inuyasha." As tempting as Sango was at that moment Miroku would not grop her until he knew Kagome was alright.

When he heard the growl from the otherside of the door he didn't wait for another sound. He pushed the door open and crept inside. Despite the darkness he could clearly see Sesshoumaru's face. His eyes were threatening and were tinted in red. That left no doubt in Inuyasha's mind.

"Kagome never made it back to her room and Sango was worried. She thought something happened to her, so we went looking for her. Now that I found her, I can go calm Sango down."

"You don't seem to mind in the least that I have taken her as my mate. I would think you would try to take her."

Inuyasha smirked, "So you actually mated this time?" At Sesshoumaru's frown he nearly laughed, "Yes, I know all about your visits and ruttings. Kagome told me when I asked her what was wrong one day. It was after your 'fight'."

"You don't care?"

"Of course I do, but what was I supposed to do? She loves you and after seeing you look at her, I don't need to worry anymore. Now I know you love her as well. You gave her what I wouldn't."

Sesshoumaru's eyes returned to their golden sunkissed color. "Will you tell the other three?"

Inuyasha shook his head, "That's Kagome's job not mine." Inuyasha turned and walked back to the door. As he was walking through it he stopped, "I know you'll make her happy Sesshoumaru. Through I know you don't care, you have my blessing."

"Thank you brother."

Inuyasha closed the door silently. He sighed outside the door. He knew he could've gotten his head ripped off if he had the others with him. He jumped down the hall, returning to his room.

Sesshoumaru closed his eyes and fell back into the peaceful sleep he had been pulled from.

Sitora cursed as she walked to her door. It was Kami only knows what time and someone was at her door. "This better be important!" She roughly grabbed her door and flung it open. Inuyasha was standing there with a look on his face that said, 'She's crazy.'

"What do you want Inuyasha? You know some of us actually like to sleep at night!" She growled at his cocky expression.

"If you know someone that likes to sleep tell me and I'll punch them just for you."

Sitora growled again, "What do you want?"

"I take it you are aware of Sesshoumaru and Kagome's 'thing'."

"'Thing'? What the hell are you talking about?"

"Their relationship, I guess you'd call it. Their meetings and"-shudder-"rutting?"

"Yeah, so?"

"Kagome is now Sesshoumaru's mate, she is in his bed right now. I'm going to tell Sango and Miroku she's with you. Kagome should tell them about the 'thing' she has for him, so you need to, for the time being, tell them she was with you."

"Fine." She slammed the door in his face and stalked back to her bed. Sitora fell onto her big, comfortable bed and fell to sleep immediately.

Inuyasha growled at her door, "Bitch." He stomped down the hall to his room.

As soon as he opened the door Sango ran up too him and asked a million questions. He got her to quiet down long enough to tell her the little fib about Kagome being with Sitora.

"Oh, well I'm glad she's alright. I wish Kagome would have told me though, I was really worried. Well sorry for getting you guys up for nothing." She walked to the door and with one final goodbye, left.

Inuyasha stripped off his haori and undershirt and started to settle back into his bed. Miroku too had gotten back into his own bed. Inuyasha felt Miroku's eyes on him and turned to glare at the monk.

"Got a problem?"

"No, it's just that Sango was so worried she wouldn't calm down. There was one thing I could've said, but didn't because I knew she would question it."

"Spit it out Miroku!"

"Well, I almost said to her, 'Sesshoumaru wouldn't let her get hurt here or anywhere.'" He studdied Inuyasha then continued, "It would've been hard to explain that to Sango, so I didn't say it. It is true though, isn't it?"

Inuyasha sat up and looked at Miroku, "What gave you the idea that my brother would protect Kagome?"

"I never said anything, but there was one time she went to bathe, it was about a month ago. I followed her, to make sure she stayed safe." Inuyasha growled, but didn't interrupt, "She didn't get into the spring, she sat and looked like she was waiting. Honestly I thought she was waiting for you, but Sesshoumaru came instead."

Inuyasha's growling grew louder, "And?"

"She wasn't afraid of him, she welcomed him. Inuyasha he smiled at her, it was then I left. Throughout these few weeks I held no doubt in my mind that Sesshoumaru loved her and now I still believe it is true. Am I wrong Inuyasha?"

He smiled at Miroku, "One of these days you lecherous behavior will get you into serious trouble Miroku. If Sesshoumaru would have caught you he'd have killed you." He laid back down, "Yeah, you're right Miroku. He loves her and she loves him."

He laid down and stared at the ceiling, "I'm glad, Kagome deserves it. If nothing else she deserves to be loved."

Silence fell between them as they got lost in their own thoughts. Inuyasha fell asleep after his thoughts wandered far beyond Kagome and Sesshoumaru. Miroku had fallen asleep long before Inuyasha had. This night was too long and he gave into his exhuastion.

The next morning Miroku, Sango, and Inuyasha were in the dining hall eating their first real meal in a long time. They talked about nothing really and sometimes didn't talk at all. Without Kagome around they weren't really in the talking mood. She always knew how to get them smiling and laughing. Since she had yet to wake they were a little down.

Inuyasha sighed as he finished up his third helping of food, "I guess we should go after Naraku soon. Now with Sesshoumaru's help it shouldn't be too long until the bastard is finally killed."

Sango looked up from her food, "You sure are confident. Before you couldn't stand your brother, but now you are actually glad he's on our side. Rather fast change in attitude don't you think?"

"No not really," He shrugged, "I'm just glad it's our side he's on now and not just randomly attacking or joining Naraku."

"Inuyasha has a point," Miroku interjected, "Before we had to worry about Naraku, Sesshoumaru, and any random youkai that we crossed paths with. With the resources of the Western Lands it will be much easier to track Naraku down."

"Yeah, but," She looked at the seriously, "why would Sesshoumaru agree to joining us? Now that we've been here and seen just how much power he has, do you really think he couldn't protect Rin, himself? Sesshoumaru has more power than I ever gave him credit for. I never thought being the Lord of the West would make him so powerful."

Inuyasha shook his head, "No."

"What do you mean 'no'?"

"Sesshoumaru's power doesn't come from his title. Even before he was Lord he had quite a few youkai that already respected him. He is respected for his strength, his genious in battle, and even his looks." He shrugged, "I've never seen him in battle, but I've heard stories about them."

Miroku set his chopsticks down, "Like what?"

"Every battle he's been through he hasn't once lost one of his soldiers. They come out alive, which is rare for youkai wars. Sesshoumaru set up a village just for his army. I don't know where, but I know it's there."

"If you don't know where it is, then how do you know it exists?"

"It does."

Everyone turned to see Sitora and Shinjiru walking towards the table. Sango frowned, "Where is Kagome?"

Sitora almost asked her what she was talking about, but stopped herself. 'Inuyasha's early visit.' "She wanted to sleep in a little more, so I let her."

"Oh, alright."

Miroku looked over at Shinjiru's troubled face, "What is wrong Shinjiru?"

She looked up in surprise, "It's nothing. It's just Sesshoumaru isn't anywhere to be seen. I guess he's still in his room, but it's not normal for him to sleep in. I'm debating on whether or not to check on him."

Inuyasha looked at Miroku in slight apprehension, "Why bother? Let the bastard sleep, I'd rather be spared seeing him this early in the morning."

Siotra cleared her throat, drawing everyone's attention. "Why were you talking about the army's village?"

"So it is real?" Sango cocked her head in confusion.

Sitora laughed, "Of course it's real. It wouldn't be very sensible to keep them all here now would it? The village isn't too far from here, and I'm sure Sesshoumaru will be making a trip down there today."

Shinjiru looked at her, "Why would he go down there?"

"You'll see soon enough, sister dearest."

Sesshoumaru's mind cleared as he woke from his much needed sleep. He checked his surroundings. Most of his guests were in the dining room eating breakfast. Sitora and Shinjiru were with his mate's friends. The kit and Rin were in the garden having already ate and Jaken was with them. That brought him back to his mate.

She was still asleep and he wouldn't be surprised if she slept the rest of the day. Though she wouldn't he knew she could. Some how in the night she had ended up sleeping on his chest with her arms around his neck. He was still inside her too. With every breath Sesshoumaru could feel her muscles moving around his shaft. He hardened inside her.

The mark that now stood out on her shoulder called for Sesshoumaru's attention. He slowly licked his mark. Her inaudible moans reached his sensitive ears. "Kagome."

Kagome mumbled and continued sleeping.

"It is time to wake up Kagome."

Kagome barely opened her eyes, then shut them. "It's too early Sesshoumaru."

He chuckled, "Kagome the sun has been up for hours."

Her eyes snapped open, "What?!"

Sesshoumaru winced.

Kagome saw this and put her hands on ears, "Sorry Sesshou. I just know everyone is wondering where I am."

"No, it was taken care of."

"Taken care of how?"

"Inuyasha came here last night. It seems your friend the youkai exterminator was worried when you didn't come back to her room."

Kagome frowmed a little, "What happened?"

"Inuyasha knew to come here first and he did." Sesshoumaru kissed Kagome lightly on her forehead, "We talked and he said he'd take care of it."

"He knows?"

Sesshoumaru smirked up at his mate, "It seems that he knew even before I was aware he knew."

Kagome blushed, "You're not mad are you?"

"No, I have no reason to be. I talked to Sitora and you talked to Inuyasha. In fact he gave me his blessing."

"Really?"

"Yes, he wants you to be happy."

"I am." She kissed Sesshoumaru, starting at the crescent moon adorning his forehead and moved down. She finally claimed his lips. The memories of last night came back to her and she shuddered. It was when her shudder died down that she remembered Sesshoumaru was still deep in her.

Sesshoumaru growled as her shudder caused her inner muscles to tighten. With a grunt he rolled them over, with him now on top. He pushed at her hips with his. The moan that passed from his lips was loud and unrestrained. With little warning he started pounding into her.

"Harder Sesshou." Her encouraging moans were rewarded with more force and speed. She kept up with his pace easily. Moaning and panting everytime he would hit a certain spot deep inside her depths.

Sesshoumaru felt her never lose his pace and knew she was already changing. 'It won't be long.' He went faster and heard her cum with a scream. He released his seed after a few more thrusts. Cumming with a growl.

Kagome laid under him trying to regain her breath. Him being on top of her wasn't really helping. "Sesshou, you're heavy."

He pulled out of her and fell to the side. "Better?"

She smiled and kissed him, "Yeah." She sat up and stretched. "How come I'm not tired like I was last night?"

He sat up too, the blanket pooling around his hips. "You've already started changing Kagome."

Kagome smiled brightly at him, "Will I be an inu?"

He wrapped his arms around her shoulders and nuzzled is mark on her neck, "Most likely. Your strength, loyalty, and beauty are enough to prove you will be an inu."

Kagome laughed, "You know even though you complemented me, I get the feeling you complemented yourself too."

He smiled, "Perhaps." He kissed her, then slid out of their bed, the covers sliding from his waist.

Kagome watched him move over to a door on the wall. She would never tire of him. He was everything she thougth she'd never have. She loved him with all of her being. Kagome was so happy to have woken and have him beside her. It was a first for her, she'd never woke up to find him there.

Sesshoumaru turned around and looked at Kagome, "Are you coming?"

"Yeah I think I am." She blushed when he quirked his brow. She slid out of bed with the sheet wrapped around her body. She frowned at his look.

"Why are you bringing the blanket?"

"I don't want to get cold Sesshou." she walked to his side and looked at the door in question. "Are we going out into the hall like this?"

"No, this door leads to my private spring." He opened the door and pulled her inside.

She gasped when she saw the spring, "Sesshou, it's huge."

"Did you not say, 'Everything about me is big?'" He walked into the steaming water and dunked under it's surface. When he came up Kagome was gone and the blanket was sitting in a pile on the floor. He felt her behind him and spun catching her of guard.

She fell backwards in the water and came up spitting water out of her mouth. She glared at him playfully and splashed him. She ducked under the water and tried to swim away.

Sesshoumaru caught her foot and pulled her back. She came up seconds later and he splashed her with a massive wave of water. Kagome tried to swim away again, but he still had her. The water settled down and Sesshoumaru smiled at her.

"You haven't won yet Sesshou." She jumped up using his hand as a push off and went over him. His grip loosened enough for her to escape. Kagome got behind him and when he turned she sent a tidal wave towards him. She laughed when she saw his hair over his face from the water.

"Weak attack Kagome." He surged forward and water came crashing with him. Kagome tried to escape, but the wave was too strong. She was engulfed with water. When she emerged Sesshoumaru was standing there with an incredibly sexy smirk on his face.

"I give up. You win." Kagome started to wash herself and smiled when Sesshoumaru came over to help. After she was clean she helped him wash.

They came out of the spring dripping wet. Sesshoumaru held up and robe and Kagome slipped into it. Sesshoumaru slipped into his larger one and they returned to their room.

Kagome looked at Sesshoumaru as he took out a set of clothes for himself, "I don't have any clothes Sesshou. We can't get to back my room without being seen, so what am I supposed wear?"

He came out the closet with a package. He gave it to Kagome, "These were made for you."

"You had clothes made for me?"

"Not exactly. One the older youkai that live in the army village made them for you."

"Me? Why?"

"It seems she has seen you out with Inuyasha before and was amazed by your equal care for human, hanyou, and youkai. She said she hadn't seen anyone like you in ages and made these for you. She gave them to me, saying she knew I would get them to you."

"Are they kimonos?"

"I don't know, I never opened it."

Kagome unwrapped the cloth and set it aside. She picked up the first article and gasped. It was beautiful. It looked like a kimono, but it was so much lighter. She saw what laid beneath it and smiled, she knew what these were. Kagome stood up and took the package with her to the closet.

"What are you doing?"

"Changing."

"Why not out here? There is no use in trying to hide yourself, there's nothing I haven't already seen."

"That may be so, but I get the feeling if I start to dress in front of you I won't be wearing these clothes long."

Sesshoumaru smiled. She was right, he would enjoy peeling the clothes from her body.

Kagome emerged from the closet wearing what resembled a kimono, but it wasn't. It was a fighting kimono. It was like a kimono at the top, sleeves that belled out and it fit tightly to her chest. The bottom is what made it a fighting kimono. There were two slits going up to her waist for better movement. Under the kimono Kagome wore a dark blue gi. She was covered from her neck down to her ankles, so it wasn't indecent.

The kimono over the gi was royal blue and had snow flakes gliding down the length of it. The obi that tied loosely around her waist was the same shade of blue as her gi. The ends of her obi hung at her side falling from the knot.

Sesshoumaru approved of her new attire. It was less revealing than her school uniform and more suited to the Lady of the Western Lands. He smiled at her, "Simply gorgeous." He stood and walked to her. He wrapped his arms around her, "I like the way you look in clothes from my time, mate."

Kagome smiled up at him, "Thanks, but I will stil be wearing my clothes when I'm back home."

"I know. I am not worried though, I trust my mate." He kissed her temple. When he heard Kagome giggle he pulled back to look at her.

"Come on get dressed. Everyone's probably going to figure out that where I am and a missing Sesshou and missing me could add up. Besides you being this close and naked, I'm starting to rethink the whole leaving this room thing."

Sesshoumaru chuckled and pulled away from his mate. "Very well." He only put his hakamas and haori on deciding to forego his armor for now.

Kagome watched him dress barely keeping the drool in her mouth. When he was done he walked up to her and held out his arm. She smiled and took it. "No armor today?"

"No, need. Today we will be visiting the army village and wearing armor there will signify a battle. I will only be wearing my swords." He led her out of his room and into the hall.

"Army village?"

"It is the village where the soldiers and officers in my army live while they are off-duty."

"Wow, that's cool." She looked out the window they were passing and stopped. "Hey Sesshou, you go ahead. I'm going to go get Rin and Shippo."

He nodded and they parted with a kiss. "Everyone is in the dining hall."

"Alright." Kagome took off for the garden at a full sprint.

Sesshoumaru shook his head and continued heading for the dining hall.
