Organized Chaos. Kagome enjoyed watching the club in such a state, seeing as once they opened the chaos would fall away and reveal a spunky, upbeat, enjoyable area for their customers. The chefs, bartenders, and waitresses rushed back and forth to drop off things such as towels, glasses, money for change, and many more things that would be needed for their customers.

Kagome glanced around from the top of the stairs that lead to the second level of the club, the staff level. She took a step down the stairs and smiled as her black cargo pants swished with the movement. Her blood red long sleeved shirt seemed to glow under the lights of the club. She smiled as she thought of the four levels of the club that were open to the public.

Level One, the entrance and main entertainment level. Here guests could see what levels they could enter and enjoy games of pool and some card gambling. The second largest bar was located there as was the main office, where many staff went to get to the second level by elevator.

B-level 1, was the only level that allowed the music to skyrocket and more sensual dances took place. This level held the third largest bar due to the stock of just pure liquor and the fact not many came down to drink. This is were most low level youkai entertained themselves, seeing that they could relax without worrying about the `Spirit Detectives'.

The Spirit detectives. Kagome mentally cringed at the thought; she knew they would come around to check on the place one day. She rued that day, since they would probably keep coming till they found a demon to high to be in Ningenkai and force them to Makai. Kagome rolled her eyes and watched a few youkai went toward the stairs that lead to B-level 2.

B-level 2, the one place that could be declared dangerous in the club itself, since no ningen could step foot there. This area housed the more powerful B and C class youkai, who preferred their privacy and hated the fowl stench of ningens. They gambled with lives and not many on the staff preferred the manage that area so it was considered one of the off-limit areas unless you had a access key, even the youkai inside had to have a access key to get in.

The last and final level of the club was Kagome's personal favorite, B-level 3. This level housed only the highest demons who tended to enjoy more refined music and tastes in alcohol, which meant the largest bar. S level youkai and beyond could be located h-- Kagome's attention quickly flew to the fast movement on the floor below her.

One waitress, dress in a black pleated skirt and a black long sleeved, high collar shirt, was running all around trying to find a place for a bowl of sliced lemons when a miss placed rug caused her to trip and the bowl to go flying into the air. The room seemed to freeze as it came down with every intention of crashing to the floor if a hand had not shot out and grabbed the bowl.

The hand belonged to a blonde haired girl. She was wearing a long sleeved black shirt and black cargo pants, her hair was up in a pony-tail with a blood red baseball cap with `STAFF' in bold black letters.. She smiled and held out her hand to the waitress and helped her up. “You really should look where your going, I won't always be there to make sure that you don't drop anything Keiko-kohai.”

The girl then took off her cap and undid her hair, the blonde hair fell down to a little past her shoulder her and the un-even red tips came into view. She handed the elastic band to Keiko and grinned “You should also put your hair up or the boss might get mad, she tend to get annoyed when a waitress forgets the fact we also serve some food here.”

“Oh, Kira-san I'm only staying on the first level. I don't serve food here, I thought since I'm not serving I wouldn't have to put it up.” Keiko suddenly leaned in and whispered “I also hopped that if my boyfriend came in he wouldn't recognize me with my hair down in this uniform” She forced a smile to her face and looked around to make sure no-one had heard her.

Kira suddenly laughed and patted Keiko on the back “It's Kira, the formalities aren't needed Keiko!” The room flew back into the chaos when a loud knock on the door drew everyone's attention. A silver haired man poked his head in with a grim expression and looked up to Kagome.

“We've got a situation Kagome-dono”

--In the line outside the Club—

Many people shifted nervously away from a man who was leaning casually against the wall near the front of the club line. A black haired male who was wearing a pair of baggy black cargo pants and a red tank top with the word `Head Staff' in purple was glaring at the man but soon backed away when Kagome stepped out of the main club doors closely followed by the silver haired man, dress in the same outfit but the words where in gold instead.

“Kagome-ch…Dono, this man doesn't have an invite nor is he dressed for his level. He won't level… and he says he knows you” The black haired man said as he moved to tie his hair up in a high pony-tail. Kagome quickly walked over toward the man and looked him up and down before scowling.

“Well then Miroku, dispose of him” Kagome then simply waved her hand at the man and started to walk away… if his comment hadn't stopped her

“I asked to see the owner! Not one of his Bitches!”

The silver haired man quickly pinned the man to the wall with his hand around his throat. Kagome was frozen in her place with her eyes slightly wide. She swiftly spun around and faced the man, and with a fierce glare made the silver haired man remove himself from the other man. “Inuyasha, go check and see if everyone inside is ready for the opening.”

Inuyasha mumbled something but grabbed Miroku's arm and dragged him inside the club, leaving Kagome and the man to settle to problem.

Kagome walked up to the man and brought her hand down across his cheek, the sound echoed through the incredibly quiet block. “You… pathetic toad youkai… insult me and on such a day as this! I could kill you for your insolence!” Kagome knocked the toad's feet from under him “I suggest you get up and leave before I change my mind and really kill you.”

The toad youkai scrambled to his feet and ran off leaving the crowd and Kagome in the silence. Kagome sighed and looked around before smirking and walking toward the club entrance.

“Well I hope you haven't lost your energy or anticipation. The name is Kagome, the owner of this club and I welcome you all to Club Shikon!”

Suffix Log

-kohai: This word is the opposite of “-sempai,” and is used toward underclassmen in school or newcomers in the workplace. It connotes that the addressee is of lower station.

-dono: This comes from the word “tono” which means “lord.” It is even a higher level of respect then “-sama” and confers utmost respect.
