So here they were, top floor of the BO of the Underground’s most feared vampire and demon gang. Heaven. Home of the largest gathering of the blood sucking beasts and demons. Their boss was the feared crimson Eyed Demon. ][ I know, not very imaginative. >/ So sue me. He dies anyways.][ It wasn’t his toughness that worried the three at the moment. No, they were sure they would be able to defeat anything he had to throw. It was just, there were massive amounts of demons and vamps at his disposal, and, if either of them were to be caught, what the Crimson Eyed Demon would do to them sent a shiver down their spines. It was dangerous and risky, and if anything were to go wrong.........
Thus, the reason for Sango, Kagome and Rin’s anxiety.
Raising a hand up, Kagome motioned for the others to stop. She quietly backtracked a few steps, then, slipping her hand into the slit of her trench coat, she drew out four ofudas, activated them with her ki, and placed them on the corners of the doorframe behind them, creating a barrier around the final boss ][sounds like Zelda ne?][. Thus, allowing them to fight undisturbed. Spreading out her aura, she determined that there were about 2 dozen on that level, but only about a fourth of that around the door. There were, however, about 6 to their immediate left and more to their right, and even more to their front. Sango and Kagome quickly dispatched of them, quietly I might add, so that the only sound heard was the muffled *thud* of the katana’s blade embedding itself within someone’s flesh, or the soft *schlick* of a kunai drawing a scarlet line across a unsuspecting neck. together, they made short work of the guards, allowing Rin time to scan the layouts and open the complex electronic lock. Once the heavy metal door was opened a crack, Kagome once again slid a sliver of her aura in, testing out the room.
The room was circular, with inches thick metal plating for walls. No windows, dim lighting, and cold. No heat whatsoever save for the body heat produced by the various demons. Auras, however, were another deal. Most of the auras she sensed were weak by comparison, yet one aura reigned supreme over them all. It was suffocating, and reeked of evil. No doubt that was the goal. Masking her aura, and her scent ][ somehow.....][ she slipped in through the crack and hid with the shadows, made her way around and took out the guards farthest from the door. Then she would go back and signal for Sango and Rin to join her, take out the rest of the guards and kill the final boss, quietly and without raising too much notice. Covered by the darkness, she would be able to do so without raising too much notice. After all, she had her aura masked and her scent, so no one would be able to sniff her out. She misjudged.
Sitting to the immediate right of the boss, was a narrowed wind youkai. Even though he couldn’t sniff it out, he knew there was a disturbance ][ in the Force...xD][, and being a wind youkai, he could determine her position, and judging by the ripples emanating from around the room, he could tell there were intruders of reasonable amounts of power. So he told his boss.
Sango didn’t know what happened, except all of a sudden half the youkai in the room suddenly flew at her and Rin, as if they knew exactly where they were. She didn’t even blink as she drew out her katana, and began the slash and hackage of the offending youkai.
Rin, in that split second of a pause, figured out that their cover had been blown. So, what the hell. She dodged to the side, guns blazing, pumping lead into the demons around her.
Kagome also launched into action, covering not only for herself, but also for her teammates. She threw shuriken after holy powered shuriken at youkai farther from her, while nimbly jumping up and slashing at the youkai in front of her with kunai clutched in both hands. While she had been battling the oncoming hordes of demons, she had managed to slap a seal onto the forehead of the boss character, thus freezing him in place until they were A) finished with the guards or B) he found a way to break the seal.
Standing amidst the carnage, the three bloody angels turned on the frozen boss character.
