InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ ιяoиy ❯ Irony ( Chapter 1 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Input and story arrangement edited on July 7th, 2007. One of my very oldest works that have not been deleted for some reason from two years ago. It's cryptic, dark, and I used to like it very much. Can you guess the pairing?
Disclaimer: I suppose since these are required, I must say, “I do not own anything of this fic but the idea!”
One-Shot:
“Irony”
How long had it been? Days, weeks, a year? It couldn't have been a year, but it felt so much like it.
He fondled with the beautiful pin in his hair. Made of the finest material, more than a whole village of worth. He then saw a pair of dark brown eyes.
Those eyes he had seen right after his death by his trusted comrade, Renkotsu.
"I know you're here for my shard Renkotsu." Jakotsu said as he laid back on the boulder. He knew this day would come when Renkotsu would eventually betray him like he did Bankotsu by not telling of the shards he had discovered.
Renkotsu nodded solemnly.
Then it was...
Darkness
But there was light. A bright pink light.
A beautiful man closed his eyes, remembering hatefully.
The girl had saved him, more probably out of pity. And he hated her for that. He hated pity out of more than anything.
"Are you thinking again?"
The cold yet warm voice asked.
He turned his head towards the source of voice and glared. Eyes of a mercenary set into a simple and unpleasant curve.
"Shut woman. I despise you. As I do all other females."
She smiled at his remark.
The nerve.
"No you don't. You know it too."
She sharpened her arrows at the tip, a small cheery smile still placed on her lightly tanned face.
"Why did you save me." He managed in a sneer.
The woman shrugged, leaving him confused and hungry for an answer.
The beautiful and delicate man ruffled his slightly messy ebony hair.
The human girl smiled a little, as she reminisced a past action which proved to be useful. Because of it, she had not to be alone in this dark, musty place.
"Is that..the bones of a Shichinintai?"
She wondered over, rubbing her eyes. So it had been true.
Renkotsu had betrayed a comrade of his.
From a bottle of her necklace, the miko took out one shard. She gulped.
"I don't know why I'm doing this..but Renkotsu had no right to kill his comrade. I'm going to regret this later.."
Then somehow after that, they ended in this...place.
A cold, dark cave.
The girl stood, and walked over to him.
She kneeled and smiled at him.
'If only I could wipe that stupid grin off her face...'
But the man knew better than that. For they were at one place he couldn't fend for himself.
Mt. Hakurei
Probably the most sacred place ever.
"I feel like shit."
He said, not caring if the young maiden heard.
Unfaithfully, they had been stuck in this area for hours. To him it felt like an eternity.
Because they were deep into the mountain, the effect was meddling with him more and more.
Mt Hakurei was sure to make evil suffer in it's area, human or no.
She notched an arrow in her bow.
"You know you need me." She said hushly.
He frowned.
"You women are good for nothing do you know?"
"Maybe, but can you say that when I saved you?"
"Just shut the-"
He was silenced as a mouth covered his own in a small tender kiss.
Before he had a chance to push her away or kiss her back, she pulled away.
"You're beautiful, perhaps even more than Sesshoumaru."
She stroked his black hair as he raised an eyebrow at her actions.
She leaned over to his ear.
"I could give you more pleasure than any man could."
Had the steam and fogginess on Mt Hakurei driven her mad?
Ironic.
How ironic.
The man thought, thinking to himself.
All his life he had despised women.
And here he was getting seduced at!
He would be sure to turn the tables on this woman..
He grinned devilishly.
He swore inside that he would make her feel like he was right now.
Element of Surprise.
"I dare you to try."
