Author’s Note: wow, this is extremely random. I was just really in the mood to write poetry. It doesn’t really make a lot of sense, but I hope you enjoy it anyways. I was kind of thinking of Riku and Sora having to be separated at the end of Kingdom Hearts when I wrote this, so that’s where it comes from (even though it really doesn’t apply to that very well, I needed a category to put it in). And I am a fan of that pairing, so, it is implying that. Enjoy!

EDIT: Ok, I just switched this over to where it is now, which fits it so much better. So enjoy Inuyasha people, and farewell Kingdom Hearts people. Um, I like Inuyasha and Kikyou pairings, but I also like Inuyasha and Kagome pairings, so I’m undecided there. Ok, well, Enjoy!

Do you long for me, or is that a hopeful fiction?

Is this passion I feel for you real, or is it a longing dream?

Betrayal.

These words are you, my darling.

The bell tolls. Once, twice, again. It rings for you, sweet. The dirge is complete. You will pass now, leave me here, and lay your weary soul to rest. Roam with the angels.

Will you stay with me a while longer?

Can I bask in your light a moment more?

No, it is not meant to be, is it my darling?

You will unfurl your wings and fly with the angels, and I will forever be bound to these sins of mine.

But why? Why must it be so, my darling?

Why can we not mingle with the moon and stars together, forever?

Why must we be forced to never enjoy the warm waves washing over our feet?

I love you. I feel you. I long for you.

Do you feel this for me? Or must I forever walk this road alone, dragging the dark shadow of my sins behind me in solitude?

Will you help me lighten my load; will you carry my faults with you to heaven?

But you mustn’t. You must fly into the skies, where you will remain forever hidden away from me.
