Authors Note: Hello ladies and gentlemen! *Gets tomatoes thrown at her* He he he… Ok sorry about the really late chapter. Chapter 5: Inu Yasha... The Romantic?

 

Kagome stopped in her tracks and almost bumped into the boy in her way.

 

“Um… Can I help you?”

 

The boy looked at her shakily and said, “I …I was asked… to give this to you.” He lifted up his hands and showed her a letter.

 

 

Kagome lifted up her hand and grabbed the letter. She looked at the front of it and noticed it had really girly handwriting on it. She looked back up at him and was about to speak but saw him rushing through the crowd. She lifted up an eyebrow and looked back down at the letter. Shrugging she opened it swiftly and looked at what it said:

 

Meet me in the classroom 12-B @ the end of school.

 

`Who could have given this to me.'

Kagome's mind was running through so many possibilities in her mind. Her first thought was, `Inu Yasha probably wants to see me' but then she thought back to how girly the handwriting was and nixed that idea. The final conclusion she came up with was that Kikyo made that boy give her that letter. If that was the case did she really want to meet the girl? Kagome sighed and the shuddered when she realized the bell rang letting them out for school and the person she was going to meet. She got out of her seat and lifted up her books passing by Kikyo's desk. She stared at Kikyo while she walked by and quickly looked away when one of her lackeys noticed her staring.

 

“I think the freak was admiring.”

 

Kikyo turned around and smiled, “Oh look here… Do you know that Inu Yasha and I went to that party last night and had a blast? I mean you were there dressed like a slut but I guess nobody paid attention to you.”

 

Kagome narrowed her eyes and turned around to exit the room, ignoring Kikyo. Kikyo growled and crumbled up a piece of paper chucking it at Kagome and hitting her in the back of the head.

 

 

Kagome turned around ready to fight at last when Kikyo said,

“Opps… my hand slipped. Well since you're on your way to the trash, naturally, could you throw that out for me.” She smiled sinisterly at Kagome and batted her eyelashs.

 

Kagome growled and start to walk out the room when some caught her attention. She turned and smiled at Kikyo, “Why not? Sure I will throw it out for you,” she bent down and picked it up exiting the classroom and leaving a shocked Kikyo behind.

“Oh no, this looks just like Kikyo's handwriting. I seriously am not going, but if I don't go then she will just get worse tomorrow. But then again if I go I could shut her face for good.” Kagome shook her head; “I have been hanging around Inu Yasha to much. Now I am getting violent!”

 

She looked down the empty corridor of the school and made her decision to head to the classroom. She walked up to it and slowly opened the door to peek inside. Then something came to her, `this is the same classroom that I first…” She blushed as the memories of her first time with Inu Yasha rushed back at her. She opened the door and slowly entered it noticing that it really didn't look like much of a classroom anymore. Since it was starting to get dark outside it had a dark luminous look too it. But there were candles lit around the room making it have a low glowing look to it. 'Candles? Wait, why are candles lit around the room?'

 

She walked into the room completely and the door slammed behind her. She turned around to see Inu Yasha smiling at her. "Your late."

 

"Inu Yasha, what is the meaning of this."

 

"I just wanted to see you that's all."

 

Kagome rolled her eyes, "Why didn't you just tell me to meet you here instead of send some weird little boy to give me that letter. I really wasn't going to come because I thought it was from Kikyo."

 

Inu Yasha smirked at her and said, "I can copy other peoples handwriting, but that's not the point. I wanted to see if you would come here to this room without knowing who gave you this letter or if you would chicken out and run home scared."

 

Kagome looked at him, "Well, I am here so... what's the big deal?"

 

"If your to be my girlfriend, I can't have you be scared of any girl who thinks that she is tougher then you. I want someone strong beside me and I want someone who will always stay by my side and not run off with some one else when my back is turned."

 

Kagome narrowed her eyes, she knew who he was talking about, that guy named Kouga that was putting all the moves on her last night. Maybe if Inu Yasha didn't freak out like he did things wouldn't of gotten so out of control like they did. She was so pissed at him for how he acted she really didn't know how to deal with the situation. But this reminded her that she wasn't talking to Inu Yasha and she slowly turned back to the door to open it. She pulled the door towards herself but an hand appeared behind her head slamming the door shut again. Inu Yasha moved closer to her ear and whispered, "Kagome, will you be that some that I can always trust to be by my side and never have any doubts in?"

 

Kagome's breath caught in her throat and she felt a shiver go up her spine. It was almost like he was giving a confession of love, except with out the word love in it. Kagome slowly turned towards him and said, "Only if you will be the person that doesn't try to control my every move and I could put my faith in also."

 

Inu Yasha smirked at her and moved in kissing her softly on her lips. Kagome's eyes fluttered shut as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and leaned into the kiss. Inu Yasha moved away from her face and lifted her up into his arms and brought her to the center of the classroom. Kagome looked around and noticed that Inu Yasha set up a futon on the floor and there were rose petals scattered all across it. Kagome blushed, 'Why is he being so romantic? I've never seen him be like this either.'

 

He laid her down on the futon and looked into her eyes, "Kagome your so beautiful."

 

Kagome blushed and couldn't look him in the eyes. Inu Yasha leaned down and kissed her neck. She arched into him and spread her legs to let him settle on top of her.

 

Inu Yasha couldn't believe that this whole scenario was working, 'Now I am going to have to treat Miroku. Kuso!'

~~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~~

 

"Miroku, she's been bitching all week long! She won't even look me in the eye or say a word to me." The only time she talked to me was on Monday of this week when she said, 'I am still mad at you about the party.' That's it!"

 

"Well you did kinda get extremely jealous and possessive of her."

 

"Yeah but you think she would be over it by now. NOoooo, she's like the bitch queen. I haven't had any all week long because she's acting all pissed."

 

Miroku leaned back in his chair and put the Ps2 controller down getting tired of get beaten on in Tekken 5 because Inu Yasha needed to vent his frustration out on something. He hated it when his friends were sexually frustrated. They would always come back to him and want to do some major bonding. "Have you told her your sorry?"

 

"About what?"

 

Miroku rolled his eyes and said, "Do you want to hook back up with Kagome?"

 

"Feh."

 

"Okay, I'll take that as a yes. Since I see your incapable of saying sorry. Why don't you go about it in a different way. If you do everything I say she will be putty in your hands because you acting different from the way you usually do."

 

"And what am I supposed to do..."

Inu Yasha couldn't believe he was being so cheesy but hey he wanted to have Kagome back right? He slowly unbuttoned her shirt, revealing that dreaded gym bra he hated, that were confining the globes of flesh that he loved so much. He slowly dragged a nail down the center of her bra, cutting the material in half. He felt Kagome tense a little for the inevitable yell that she had for him cutting her bra, so he lowered his head and started planting kisses all over her chest. Kagome relaxed and dragged her fingers into his hair massaging his scalp. He shivered at the feeling that she invoked in him and dragged a hand up her leg, massaging her thigh as he went up.

The only clothing still on them was Kagome's skirt that was hiding her underwear-less bottom.
