{[Confessions]}

 

Kagome woke up and got out of her bed, clicking her tongue irritably and sighing in frustration. How could she dream of that DREAM again? It had happened more than a month ago… Indeed, it was Sesshomaru who had carried her to the guestroom but other than that, like that last part-when Sesshomaru kissed her, it was none other a fragment of her creative imagination. Somehow, she still liked Inuyasha, but…

 

“I guess kikyo-senpai is better than me or whatsoever than me…,”Kagome muttered to herself. Throwing her hands up into the hand in defeat, she changed and washed up before biding goodbye to her mother and going to school.

 

Along the way, she started to think. Was loving Inuyasha a mistake all along? `People make mistakes, but should I stop this? I do not even know if I love him a not. Am I only dependent on him?'

 

Suddenly, she knocked into something, breaking her trains of thoughts.

 

“What the-,” she looked up, only to see a man looking at her.

 

Ohmigod.

 

“Er…hi, Naraku-senpai…Why aren't you not walking together with your sister?” Kagome asked, her tone with a drop of anxiousness.

 

“Oh, she's walking with Inuyasha,” Naraku replied, emphasizing on the word `Inuyasha'.

 

“Oh, I see,”Kagome said quietly. Her mood was thus greatly dampened by this sentence. Naraku sensed this, and how happy he was. She would smell like Jasmine when emotions like these swim past her.

 

`Tasteful.'

 

He was delighted.

 

“Very well then, I guess I must get going. See you,” Kagome said, trying to get away from the scene.

 

In that very moment, she bumped into him.

 

Ohmigod.

 

“Er…er…hi,” was all Kagome could say. She was blushing six shades of red, and her heart was already pumping at the sight of him.

 

Inuyasha…

 

With kikyo. Damn it.

 

Inuyasha raised his eyebrow before saying, “Kagome? The one who danced most peculiar in Sango's party? Hi.”

 

“Well…yah. Hello,” Kagome said, blushing the deepest red. She could only muster these three words. That is all her mind can say now, in front of this person, her greatest crush in history, who is with his girlfriend.

 

“Hi kikyo. Nice to meet you my dear sister,”Naraku smiled at his sister and Inuyasha.

 

“Keh,”Inuyasha grunted. He was never a great fan of his girlfriend's brother, Naraku.

 

“Inuyasha…”Kikyo whispered, and immediately silenced his protests with a passionate kiss. Inuyasha did not expect it at all, but returned it nevertheless.

 

Just as they were deepening the kiss more and more, Kagome heart was breaking once more. Though it was not the first time they did it in front of her, it still breaks her heart.

 

“Well then, bye…”

 

-At School-

 

“Hi Kagome!” Erin greeted her friend with a cheery smile. Kagome responded dully with a `hi', and Erin immediately knew. Something was wrong.

 

“Inuyasha again?” Erin asked, her toned laced with worry. Kagome just smiled, before returning to read her books. She was starting to get tired…this unrequited love…

 

“Hey pal, what's up?” Sango patted Kagome suddenly at her shoulder, startling her.

 

“Gosh Sango! You scared me!” Kagome scolded. She was so deep in thoughts that she practically jumped when Sango patted her.

 

“Ok, ok. Sorry. Anyway, mind if we have a talk?” Sango asked suddenly.

 

Kagome was taken aback. Sango was no up to have a talk to.

 

“Yeah why not?”

 

Sango smiled and brought her to the rooftop. Along the way, it was only silence.

 

“So…yeah?” Kagome asked, leaning against her lower body on the railing of the rooftop.

 

“You liked Inuyasha, right?” Sango said, her tone indicating that she was not sure yet, but she suspect it. Kagome gave out a gasp. How did she know?

 

“H-How did you know?” Kagome stuttered. She was afraid that she would lose her friend because of a small crush, a crush that will never come true. “Are you angry?”

 

Sango stared at Kagome, before laughing.

 

“Huh?”Kagome said, confused. After a few minutes, she understood.

 

Sango was not angry!

 

“Why will I be angry? Inuyasha is handsome, its common sense that girls will just fall to his feet!” Sango laughed.

 

“Hey! I didn't do that okay!” Kagome protested, but smiled a little.

 

“Come on! Tell me about it! You actually fall for him after that incident with him at the boutique. Funny girl Kagome!” Sango said.

 

Just as Kagome wanted to retort back, the bell rang. Smiling, Kagome said, “All right, I will tell you EVERYTHING during the break okay? Let's go back to class now!” Kagome pulled Sango towards the door.

 

“You said it!” Sango laughed, and followed Kagome. However, in the back of her mind, she was thinking. `I hope that she will not be hurt.'
